Included in Okta #Identity25 (2026) grateful, but also cautious. We’ve spent years engineering identity systems. Now they’re starting to reshape power, access, and rights. #Identity is not technology. It’s infrastructure of governance. The next risk isn’t failure. It’s misuse. P.S. Humbled to be in company of world 25 leaders, identity experts when you are student!

#Governance #DigitalID #PublicServiceMessage

#Deepfakes are videos, images, even sounds artificially generated by #machinelearning For the first time, a virtually aged deepfake of a 9-year-old child has been created so that she can act and argue like an adult woman. Ella is representative of an entire generation of children. Experts predict that by 2030, two-thirds of all cases of identity theft will occur in this way. Possible consequences include profiling by data brokers, hacking, facial recognition, pedophilia and others Credits: Deutsche Telekom
