Until I wrote my own driver, I had no idea Switch Pro controller had an LED around the Home button. Switch Pro controller fully implemented in Joypad tester. Direct webHID mode gives you access to test buttons, analog sticks, rumble motors, IMU sensors, and player/home LEDs.

Nintendo64 controllers can work on GameCube with just a connector swap. I hacked swiss-gc to support it, but beyond that it’s up to the actual game to support it. So far I’ve not found any with undocumented support. But imagine what could have been if Nintendo made a $1 straight wire cable.

PlayStation 3 controller on an XBOX 360.. wired and wireless with a cheap Amazon Basics bluetooth dongle and an Adafruit Feather. DualShock3 used an ancient Bluetooth pairing process. You had to physically connect it to the console with a USB cable, so that the console could tell it what MAC address to connect to.
