Here is Jaxson Dart, earlier this season, spearing a LB in the head on the sideline. That is a cheap shot, not hitting a QB that is still in bounds. It's pretty simple: if you don't want to get hit, then go out of bounds. If you want the benefit of the doubt a step from the sideline, then don't headhunt a LB that is giving you a path out of bounds.

Hurts has Cooper off his break if he throws it with anticipation. It's gotta come out early though. Hurts turns it down because of the hole defender and then tries to throw it late and it ends up incomplete. This is an area where Hurts needs to take a step.

Cam Jurgens has already been effectively shadow benched so I'm not going to sit here on film and destroy him all day. He just physically isn't the same player he used to be and you hate to see it. But look at the asinine design of this play. You have run the ball up the middle 3 straight times for 7, 5, and 4 yards. It is 3rd and 1. GET DOWNHILL! Instead the Eagles motion a receiver across the formation that nobody follows because the Rams would absolutely love for the Eagles to throw a swing pass that will lose 5 yards. So the motion creates a numbers disadvantage for the offense (something pretty much only the Eagles can pull off) and then you run outsize zone behind the worst LG in the NFL and a 35 year old TE who couldn't block in his prime and has only been on your roster for 2 weeks. The Eagles are out here playing checkers, not chess.

Terrible route spacing from Goedert and Brown. DeVonta Smith is just jogging a motion to the flat because every motion the Eagles run is a complete waste of time. Just truly one of the worst-designed/coached offenses in the entire league.

I saw this clip floating around online being used as evidence that Jalen Hurts can't throw over the middle of the field. So here is my breakdown (no audio, just text). You have to remember, QBs don't play the game with a Madden view. Hurts doesn't pull the trigger on the throw to Lemon because he never looks at him, and he never looks at him because the front side of the play works exactly as designed. The one thing I would say is he could do a better job of holding the MOF safety with his eyes, but that doesn't really matter on this throw.

This is disgusting. The Eagles run a shallow cross concept over the middle of the field where the best option is Dallas Goedert running right into Quay Walker. Nothing else is an option because everybody else is just jogging out nothing. The protection is far too good to take a sack here and Hurts needs to find a way to get the ball out (dirt it at Goederts feet, get out of the pocket and throw it away, etc.) but this is gross.

This play has to be meant to go to AJ Brown, who is instantly wide open. Hurts needs to hit this throw. Also, the rest of the design is pretty poor. Saquon doesn't even threaten the flat before going vertical. Calcaterra runs straight upfield instead of breaking inside to pull the safety away from the wheel.
