Great news to start off the new financial year. Razorpay is now embedded natively inside OpenAI’s Codex, an industry-first for any Indian payments company. A developer prompts "build me a fitness app with a ₹499 one-time payment." Codex builds it. Razorpay handles the payments. No separate integration, no dashboard-hopping. If AI makes creation effortless, monetisation should be just as simple. India has 6 million developers & weekly Indian users of Codex 4x'd in two weeks this February. We’re building for this shift where more people can create, launch, and earn without friction. We have always enabled businesses so that their payments are smoother, easier, simpler & faster and Codex just got added to that already illustrious list.

As we build AI-first products at Razorpay we wanted the interface to do more than just show answers or automate tasks. It should guide, respond and feel more intuitive and lively without feeling mechanical. That’s what led us to RazorSense, our design language for the AI era. Built around motion, context, emotion and the Razorpay glyph, it gives our products a sharper, more expressive way to communicate with customers. AI-first products need a new visual language. We are announcing the launch of Passkey, a biometric authentication for card payments that’s fully compliant with RBI's two-factor authentication framework. We launched this industry-first partnership with Mastercard and Visa. Almost a third of payment failures on cards in India trace back to OTP friction; delayed delivery, wrong entries, redirect loops. This friction literally runs into hundreds of crores in lost revenue, abandoned carts, and broken trust at the exact moment a customer decides to buy. But now, there’s no waiting for an OTP. Your fingerprint or your face and authentication & transaction is done. The authentication happens on your device, card data stays tokenised, and the whole experience becomes invisible at checkout. Razorpay’s biometric authentication delivers up to 95% transaction success rates. For businesses, that’s a great relief on the last mile.
