This would let the lens physically change its aperture depending on lighting, opening up in low light and narrowing in bright scenes. The result should be better exposure control and more natural depth of field. Korean publication ETNews reports that Sunny Optical has already started producing the tiny actuators responsible for this movement with full camera module assembly expected to kick off in early summer.
