Las Vegas Metro released footage of the shooting after a suspect allegedly walked up on officers with a utility knife and started hitting patrol cars on the 6300 block of West Charleston Boulevard, near the College of Southern Nevada campus. Police identified the suspect as 26-year-old Catalina Alvarado, armed with a utility knife. The officer who fired was 28-year-old Delylah Donegan. What amazing de-escalation skills she has, telling Alvarado to keep walking toward her so she could shoot her.

NFL Hall of Famer Warren Sapp recorded this confrontation at Tampa City Hall on Sept. 17. He was in an office next to City Council chambers reviewing paperwork when officials told him to quiet down and leave. Council Chair Alan Clendenin interrupted the meeting, locked the doors, and declared the people in the offices out of order. Police later trespassed Sapp for the day. Sapp’s position (clear in the video): public building, he was let in, he committed no crime, a request to leave isn’t an order he has to obey. The city’s position: his presence created a disturbance that interrupted official business, so they had authority to remove him. He filed a federal lawsuit against Tampa today claiming the episode violated his First Amendment rights. This fits a pattern of Sapp filming records-request and access disputes at Florida city buildings this year. The video is one camera’s view of a live argument, not the full legal record.

Everything is done by design. If you're going to share one video today, let it be this one. How many of you still have an automobile that is older than 2005?

Why would anybody want to buy a 2027? Maybe a 2017 and that still has too much stuff it doesn't need.

Aviation investigator Dale Leppard (48 years as a commercial pilot): in his entire career he never once went to a crash site where the black boxes weren’t recovered. On the four WTC recorders: “I was quite surprised… they’re bright orange, steel or titanium, practically indestructible, built to survive ~2,000°F jet-fuel fires.” “The odds of not finding them are almost zero.”
