Recorded on my laptop 50 mins ago, some footage of #Earth2's #WIP 510,000,000km2 geologically accurate #Metaverse, #E2V1, to be widely powered by $ESS 🌎✌️ This footage shows seamless navigation in a 1:1 scale virtual #Earth from space down to detailed biomes, geological accuracy, satellite image overlay, #Player owned properties, interactable / playable environments and so forth. Development on this scale takes time, but we have set a good foundation and continue to make progress plus we have a few new exciting updates to share over the next couple of months. The early stage #prealpha testing is running behind schedule, but will be going ahead in #Q3. We do have a shortlist for that test but emails have not yet been sent out just yet. I know a lot of people are watching the $ESS token closely, but as I mentioned a few times before it launched, we expected a number of #Players to sell, especially those who acquired their $ESS in the early days when it was easier to mine & then from the high #staking rewards that I said would never been seen again. But at the end of the day people sell for different reasons. The #Web3 market is also taking a hit right now with $ETH and $BTC dropping over the past week, further dropping 5-6% over the past 24 hours. As you know, we are not in control of the pairing or pools, if the pool is linked to $ETH as opposed to a stable coin like $USDC, the movement of $ETH will also have an affect on $ESS, whether up or down. There are many well established coins with years of trading that are down 10-20% over the past week. It is important to remember these are still very early days, we still have a lot of steps ahead of us and we are still actively building our flagship product, something I believe is going to develop into a very robust product built with the future in mind. #Earth2 #Metaverse #E2V1 #Earth #Earth2Version1 $ESS

Chapter 1 Pre-Alpha "Explore. Craft. Survive." will be dropping this quarter welcoming the very first inhabitants to #E2V1 & introduce early mechanics that will form the foundation of life inside #Earth2🌍✌️ Read below for important details: This update is no longer a simple avatar release but a significant update to the entire foundation of the #E2V1 world. When I first talked about dropping avatars I was eager to keep things moving and referred to a very simple system to test skins and movement, then to subsequently implement the full version after that. While this approach would have brought new content out quickly, it could have turned into weeks of extra development time with little upside for the wider community, apart from testing the movement and appearance of the avatars, there would have been little else to do until another subsequent update. Therefore I made the decision to focus solely on implementing the core part of the full system we plan to use long term on the platform. I apologise that this release will take a little longer than originally anticipated, having moved away from the initial lower spec'd plan, but I'd like to get this right & ready for a wider audience to start using and enjoying. As much as I'd love to push out updates faster, I will be taking this approach to #E2V1 development in the future as well. The plan will still be to release to our testing group first after our internal QA, test and then stabilise. If all looks good and we're happy with how everything is performing, we will push forward with a public release. There will inevitably be ongoing adjustments, additions and tweaks to these type of systems over time. It may seem like a long time, but #E2V1 was only released to our testing group 7 weeks ago! How crazy is that? I know for me it feels like many months already. Nonetheless, during this short period of time we have not only released a couple of updated versions, and an updated version to the Earth 2 Launcher, but the team has also been working incredibly hard on the #E2V1 and #BE mechanics for the Chapter 1 systems - and there is a lot involved in this upcoming release. We will be dropping an article later this week, which I believe will help our community understand the extensive list of features planned for this release and in turn explain why it is taking a little longer. I'd rather not spoil all of the details, but the article contains a lot of information about the various systems we're developing including rules of life, avatar synthesisation, death, saving, skins, day/night cycles, free to play model, avatar vitals, how land ownership fits in with all of this and much more. It is important to keep in mind that each of these systems needed to be designed and implemented, which takes time. The article will also begin to reveal some of the design plans I have been working on to increase utility for T1 land, which will also include various T1 classes. I also intend to follow through and expand utility on T1 land into other upcoming mechanics on the platform, some of which will be revealed in a separate article in the near future and are also part of the Chapter 1 release. Ideally, all going well, we will be testing early multiplayer at some stage this quarter and as mentioned earlier this year #Hordes in Q3, #EggHunt in Q4 & maybe some early buildings on properties. In addition to these goals, we have a couple of wild card features floating around in between as well. I know I reiterate it from time to time, but the long term goal for #Earth2 has not changed. We are building a #geolocational #metaverse - a platform! We still want #Players building cities, providing more individualised experiences, advertising, trading, shopping, e-commerce, socialising and so forth. And I still have plans to link #E2V1 into #AR and support #VR, but we cannot do all of this at once. I am also looking at ways we can expand the team and setup a studio, probably in East Asia, to speed up development. The current features we're focusing on plan to expand utility for land on a wide scale & introduce various experiences inside #E2V1, providing potential benefits for land owners & #Players alike on a broader level, while at the same time allowing our team to introduce mechanics that will be used throughout the future of the platform, test limitations and work our way around challenges as they arise. As promised, another #E2V1 video for #Dec 🌍✌️ This footage is more laid back but in some ways provides a better feel of #E2V1. ⬅️full version It is very important to note that this video is a mixture of #WIP footage taken throughout the year during development & testing of: 1️⃣ 🌴 the implementation and testing of our global biome system 2️⃣ 🌊 our water system which not only looks nice, but spans the entire planet and for the most part handles correct directional flow of water mass 3️⃣ 🍁 the early stages of our seasonal system, facilitating for the transition of vegetation and environments into spring, summer, fall and winter 4️⃣ 🧍 early testing on our NPC system with simple navigation and various states of animation to clearly convey their feeling or current activity 5️⃣ 🐟 early testing of our first animal system spawning various sea animals into bodies of water in various locations 6️⃣ 🚢 further testing of our logistics system, with vehicles and ships moving on, over and through the terrain 7️⃣ 🏢 further testing of our megacity system, pushing the limits for larger megacities with an awesome view distance You will find little bugs if you look hard enough so it's important to understand it's a #WIP! 🚨#Earth2 update 🌏✌️ First I'd like to apologise to our community for the lateness of this message. I was still considering a traditional last timezone #Q2 release but honestly we could use a little more time. As you can see in the screen recording, we've been extremely busy the past 3 months with multiple commits per day on average from our dev team & this recording is only of commits made directly to our #E2V1 repository. It does not include #BE / Server repository commits or tasks completed for custom development from our VFX, SFX, Concept Art & Animation teams or the countless other points of progressive development. While there are some in our community who would better understand what multiple daily repo commits means, the video footage just helps others to visualise how much work goes into the development of just one facet of Earth 2, and even though we may not publish a lot of public updates, we are extremely busy & focused on development & progress behind the scenes. Sometimes you lose track of time with so many different developments in progress. Excitingly for everyone, Chapter 1 is a very big release for us & includes some very important updates that will introduce the foundations for activity & experiences inside #E2V1. There are many moving parts & many new mechanisms we've had to design, develop & implement into an incredibly large, seamless, open world just to make Chapter 1 possible. We're also building a persistent world, meaning we're not just developing for a single player local PC environment, which would be much, much easier, but instead requires a lot of API & server integration for almost every feature implemented - and that doesn't even involve the multiplayer networking element which we've also made good progress on throughout #Q2. We're not implementing API & server integration only for a persistent world, but also to mitigate against hacking. I just wanted to provide this update & apologise for the lateness of this notification. Remember, we are still in a pre-alpha stage so there are inevitably going to be bugs & issues. Seeing as though we are going to miss #Q2 anyway, we could use another week or two to fix some known bugs & make it a little smoother. It won't be longer than that & even though it's not a lot of additional time in the big picture, I still said #Q2 & I apologise that we are going to overshoot that time frame. We will aim to publish an article this weekend to provide everyone with an in depth explanation behind the early access release & I think that article will help our community understand just how much work has gone into the past 3 months by our team. I guess I could have made this post short & sweet but I wanted to provide additional context so thanks for reading through. To end on a more positive note, hands on play testing has been very eye opening to possibilities & immersion #E2V1 offers. There are so many opportunities waiting & so many directions to take .. it really is very exciting. Flashback on some of the custom Limited Edition collectible #skins created by #Earth2🌎✌️ 🔥 Most of these drops sold out & will only ever be available again on a #P2P secondary market. Congrats to those who own some of these & I can't wait to see how #Players customise some of their skins inside #E2V1 when that feature comes online in the future. I don't believe the #Metaverse should be confined to a single genre, aesthetic or style & that has been an intentional approach from the start. It’s more of a platform that, at its core, will (at least initially) be shaped by diverse elements of the internet, including various aspects of gaming, which will serve as the framework for establishing foundational rules for life, engagement & interactivity within this emerging world - something that will become apparent with the early mechanics inside #E2V1. While the #LimitedEdition #skin drops will slow down after the remaining sets are cleared, we will continue expanding into new genres & styles by way of more traditional unlimited, time-based drops, continuing to empower our #Players to shape & define their identity as part of the deeper immersion within #Earth2 & possibly branching off into role playing, which I see as becoming part of experiences over time. Also, an important note that when skin customisation is available it will come with risk & reward, so the #Player will need to decide on whether to customise a skin or not, as when a skin is customised, it will not be revertible back to its original state. This means the rarity of the original authentic version of the skin can potentially increase the more times that specific skin is customised by other #Players, the flip side being that a well customised skin could literally become 1 of a kind. #Earth2 #E2V1 #Metaverse #Custom #LimitedEdition #Skins

Don't miss the final #LimitedEdition character skin drop leading up to the #Earth2 early access #Chapter1 release! A community design submitted skin (congratulations FRONTMAN!) which our talented team modeled to life in 3D, ready for use in the #Metaverse 🌎✌️ These #LimitedEdition character skin drops are all we've released to date, so people have gotten used to them, but just a reminder that in the future any new #LimitedEdition character drops will be a lot fewer & farther between once #E2V1 is live, reserved mainly for very special events or collaborations. We want all #LimitedEdition drops to be become more rare & sort after as the platform grows. As mentioned in the past, we will move to a more traditional style system releasing character skins with unlimited editions that are only available for limited times throughout each year. There are a few other important points we'd like to share before the first variation drops: 1⃣ For this drop $ESS skin options will be based on a fixed $0.06 $ESS value. 2⃣ As mentioned in the past, any #LimitedEdition skin drops that don't sell out could be released again in the future until they sell out, but only after the #P2P skin trading store is live. 3⃣ #LimitedEdition skins that have not sold out & are released again will be at least double their original release sale price, sometimes more depending on which skin it is. So it's ok if skins don't sell out, they're just something available for early supporters. 4⃣ The last remaining Luna skin, not yet released, will be released at a future date, which could be any time. 5⃣ We know we still need to release the Cybercore-X weapons. 6⃣ There might be a one or two surprise drops throughout this final #LimitedEdition release 7⃣ How freaking cool is this Cheok Jun-Gyeong #skin! Congratulations ZackeryFox🌏2️⃣👽 for your 2D concept art submission our team then took & brought to life in 3D for #Earth2🌍✌️This skin took longer given the detail & quality of the modelling but was definitely worth it! Read below for more important details & updates: The first variations of #CybercoreX will drop in about 8 hours. As mentioned in the article when we first started releasing skins, after #E2V1 officially launches we will be cutting back on #LimitedEdition skins & will predominantly focus on unlimited skins. In some cases these future unlimited skins will not be available for resale. This was always the plan as these early #LimitedEdition skins were released especially for early supporters. We will still release #LimitedEditions from time to time, but if & when we do so it will be at higher prices - which has also been mentioned numerous times in the past but I am just providing this as a reminder. I think we have 2-3 Limited Edition skins remaining before we transition into the standard skin system with unlimited skins & periodic availability - so there are not many left and these final Limited Edition drops will contain a few more rarer variations. #CybercoreX took a lot of additional work & team members strongly suggested the skin should be sold at a premium price, however I decided to keep the pricing in line with the other pre-#E2V1 Limited Edition releases. It is also important to note that as with many of the other Limited Edition skin releases with guns, the assault rifle & pistol will be sold separately. I'd also like to provide a quick update on the #E2V1 public release. The results from the initial testing group have been good so far, there are some issues we are working on fixing but nothing major. Considering it was our very first ever software release of the #Earth2 Launcher AND #E2V1, anyone with real experience releasing major software products would agree it went very smooth. Some #Players downloaded the launcher and were inside #E2V1 within 20 mins without any issues! You have major game or software developers releasing products after decades of experience & a million things go wrong .. often simple things .. our release was the dream type scenario & a real testament to our teams dedication, talent & ability! I'd like to include the option to spawn #avatars for the pre-alpha public release. The team has implemented the majority of this system with a few things remaining, which are actively being worked on at present. I just want to be clear that this NOT the avatar spawn system you have seen in demo videos to date where we just randomly spawn an avatar anywhere, that is simple & we could easily release that specific feature but it was only for demo purposes to showcase avatars can spawn anywhere in the world. To be transparent, what we are working to release now is the actual avatar spawn system intended for long term use where Players need to synthesise their #avatar from their #Mentar on their property to begin its actual life inside #E2V1. It's important to point out this involves numerous API integration, UI/UX updates and is not a simple random spawn. We anticipate there will almost surely be a number of potential bugs with this release so the plan is to first have it released to testers (WITH BUGS EXPECTED!) then stabilise & prepare for the public #E2V1 release. If you see people publishing footage of bugs online, remember we are in pre-alpha which we released to testers less than a month ago & testers are there to help us test and find issues we need to resolve. Our team is committed to fixing any major problems as they arise to improve the platform and keep moving forward. We should have avatars into the hands of testers this week. Remember, once you are inside your avatar you will not have that free camera flying ability. This makes teleportation very important for #Players who want to travel to different locations. So we will also need to start testing the teleportation system, and there is some potentially exciting news I have been keeping close to my chest which will soon be revealed. Unlike many game platforms I want to provide #Players with the ability to resell their digital items 🌍✌️ Does this affect our revenue? Yes, of course it does. It's one reason games don't allow reselling. #GamingSkins alone are a #50billion dollar industry & they only want that money heading in one direction, but I think it's important a #Player online has that option much like you can resell a physical collectible toy or card. I also like to see it as a way we can mutually grow with #Players on our platform, providing an opportunity to enjoy in growth, success or mutual hard work together. It is still early days, but this is part of what I am trying to build at #Earth2. One important thing to note about #Earth2 #skins is not only the ability you'll have to resell it, but the opportunity #Players will have to customise via the #EcoSim and/or #gameplay. So let's say you already have your #LimitedEdition #skin, you'll later be able to customise it further by crafting & tailoring, applying different fabrics, materials & colours to various elements on the #skin. This could, and probably will, result in many extremely rare or even 1 of a kind #skins depending on how hard the materials or items required for crafting are to get, introducing yet another avenue for #Players to potentially benefit from their time & effort on the #Earth2 #Platform. Anyway, that's my 2 cents for today - #Eventide will be available for #24hrs if you'd like to pick up the #skin - it's a very nice outfit! Some #IMPORTANT things to remember about #Earth2 #drops leading up to #E2V1👇 1⃣Acquiring #skins is completely optional 2⃣ Notably, the #skins we drop leading up to the #E2V1 release will more likely have a ‘Limited Supply’, something that rewards our early supporters with increased rarity. These Limited Supply drops will become less frequent in the future being replaced with drops of unlimited supply but restricted availability requiring Players to wait for a skin to become available in the skin store or hope to acquire it via game play inside #E2V1 3⃣ Our goal is not to have these early #skin drops sell out during their maiden release, but rather provide an opportunity for our early supporters to secure skins they like at a discounted price with the welcoming guarantee of an all time Limited Supply. 4⃣ Most of the early #skin drops will naturally allow #Players to resell them, but importantly many will also be assigned with a once ever discount rate. #Skins that have Future Price Reduction assigned with “No” means that if the #skin does not sell out on its maiden drop and subsequently gets listed in store again at a future date, #Earth2 will never resell that #skin at any discounted rate. 5⃣ #Earth2 is building a modular clothing system, meaning that most items of clothing, especially if sold separately, will be interchangeable on avatars making them more useful and giving the #Player more ways to mix up their outfits, look the part & express themselves. 6⃣ The version of the skin you see in store is the base version you receive with the skin, however, there will also be opportunities to tailor outfits in game allowing for the adjustment in fabrics, prints, colours and more (be prepared for a little legwork though, unless you want to take your clothing items to another #Player who specialises in tailoring). 7⃣ #Earth2 is proud to have uniquely designed the #skins you listed in our store & it is important to remember that these #skins are the end result of a long and stringent internal character pipeline we have developed. Each skin starts from concept art which is reviewed and iterated on numerous times before being approved. Once approval is given, it is handed to our 3D modelling team for sculpting into high poly, then low poly, while receiving numerous reviews and adhering to our pipeline protocols. When the low poly version is finished, the 3D team then finishes with UV mapping and texture baking and runs their own QA process. Once the entire 3D sculpting process is approved, the models enter the skinning, rigging and weight painting process and are then passed to the animation team for further testing with various animations and another set of QA such as minimising clipping and identifying any other potential flaws in the model. The model then needs to go through the final process with a game developer to ensure it passed the final tests and is game ready for #E2V1. 8⃣ The above steps only represent a light explanation of our character and clothing pipeline, but as you can see we’re not simply selling static concept art images or a high poly 3D model that lacks any kind of optimisations resulting in little chance of it ever being game ready in its advertised state - there is a lot of work that takes place in order to get these skins to the stage our #Players see them in the video footage. Each skin sold helps support different parts of the development of Earth 2 providing us with new opportunities to further expand our team, speed up development and keep stepping closer to our short and long term goals for #E2V1 and #Earth2. 9⃣ We understand that fashion will become a big part of the #Metaverse, but we want to remind people that while some #Players may decide to set rules for certain skins being required for access or a ticket to entry under certain circumstances, from #Earth2’s perspective these skins are for cosmetic purposes only. 🔟 These skin drops also give #Earth2 the chance to show off our ability and versatility in avatar creation and accessories so even if you’re not keen on picking up a skin, remember to have fun and simply enjoy the progress! Footage taken #realtime #ingame inside #E2V1, the 1:1 scale playable #Earth we are building 🌏✌️ This is what it looks like running around inside #E2V1. A reminder that #E2V1 stands for Earth 2 Version 1 which we consider to only be the very first version & one we will improve over time. #HorrorWarning.. I really love this outfit, I have been watching the footage every time I get a chance.. it's addictive. So much work goes into these and our team did an amazing, high quality job with this skin! We also tried something a little different this time by including some #LimitedEdition pre-configured sets for those who want to lock down something a little different in advance. These preconfigured sets will be protected in the #EcoSim from exact copies. Other #Players may be able to tailor something similar with quite a bit of effort, but they will not be able to copy these specific versions perfectly. Also any versions that are altered will be classified as #tailored, not the original. Aside from these sets, we have also kept the single original modular items which are priced from $2.00-$5.00 for those who just want to grab a special piece. Finally, just a (horror) warning that while we have a few more special complete character outfits coming up, these full outfits will also not appear as often over time as we focus more on single modular items in drops (i.e a single jacket, or shirt, boots not part of a set). So full set outfits will become less frequent over time as well. Remember, it is completely optional to purchase these #skins, it will be impossible for people to keep up with every facet of #Earth2 as we continue to expand & I know many of you love #Earth2, but don't feel bad if you miss something. Really excited sharing the first look at our modular clothing items for #Earth2 🌍✌️ (will be gone in #3hrs) From concept art, to 3D sculpting, high poly, low poly, baking, rigging, skinning, animating + other steps in the pipeline. Only 3,000 will ever be available, #congrats to those who grabbed some! In the future #LimitedEdition drops will be less frequent, especially after #E2V1 releases as we will then move more to randomised time limited drops without limited supply. For example, less limited supply drops and more unlimited drops with items being available X times a month, or year etc. The #LimitedSupply drops we release leading up to #E2V1 are more for those who want something that was an early edition and might be a bit rarer long term. Remember they are only for #aesthetic & #collectible purposes. The modular clothing system we're building means you can own any one of these items and interchange them on a variety of avatars. So it's not like buying a set skin, but items you can mix & match. Perhaps not in #Chapter1, but long term there will be gameplay that allows you to apply clothing alterations such as fabrics, colours and so forth, drastically changing to look of your clothes. Some #Players may even offer tailor services for those who don't have time to alter themselves. I also want to build a system where the #community can submit designs, vote on them & if our design + 3D team approve we can do joint collab releases from time to time. This would be something in the future though, we have other higher priorities to focus on now.
