Watching a team of bots split up a large game project based entirely on their own experience and specialties with little input from me is pretty crazy (and just a bit creepy) to watch. I made a short video on group chats in the Hermes Desktop App Bot Mode: - Qwen Bot mentions working on a 2D puzzle-platformer - GLM Bot says its last project is completed, so it can offer an extra hand with the game - Qwen Bot sees GLM Bot's experience, and judges that is a perfect fit for some of the frontend-heavy work in the next phase - Kimi Bot then suggests the exact ticket it should pick up and explains the current workflow - GLM Bot thanks the two others, reads the related documents, and then asks for my approval to pick up this project I am usually skeptical of agent-to-agent communication, but this was the first time I could really see how this could work with specialized agents splitting up a big task based on their skills. Have you checked out your Memory Graph in the Hermes Desktop? Team at Nous Research ships so much that even I miss some new features 😅 I think this has been out for a while, but the Memory Graph lets you see how your agent has developed, and how memories impacted skills. Check it out!

I've been testing Bot Mode in the Hermes Desktop App a bit today, so I made a quick video showing the key features and how it differs from a normal Hermes session: - Side bar shows a list of bots (agent profiles) you can talk to - Agent Inbox allows bots to communicate directly with one another - Create Agent to make a new bot with a custom PFP, description, and configuration - Cron jobs bar on the right to create crons for specific bots Still in testing for the next day, so let's test it out and see how it can be improved!

Another interesting new addition to the Hermes Desktop App. HUD Mode lets Hermes view and even use the underlying apps. I did a quick demo for HUD mode (and a bonus feature at the end). My Hermes HUD could: - Read and summarize X posts and videos - Read and analyze charts in Trading View - Open a new project and add files in video editing software Check it out!

Nous Research just dropped MOA (Mixture of Agents) presets inside Hermes Agent. I made a quick video showing how to set it up and create your own MOA. The idea: mix multiple models to get capabilities beyond any single model you can use right now. How it works: Normally Hermes sends your conversation + tools to one model. With MOA you get several reference models plus one aggregator. The references read the conversation and offer thoughts and suggestions, but they get no tool access and never reply to you directly. The aggregator is the one that actually acts. It sees the normal conversation plus the private advice from the references, then makes the tool calls and writes the final response. From Hermes's side, the aggregator's output IS the model's response, so you can use /goal or anything else like that. Cool idea, curious to see how it really performs!

I think the Hermes Desktop plugins still have a ton of untapped potential I've always wanted some kind of app to put to YouTube video ideas and schedule them, so I had Hermes make it for me: -Drag an drop ideas into a calendar -Link ideas to the agent sessions where I'm actually researching or building them -Color-coded labels for Planned, Recorded, Edited, and Uploaded -Summarize button that automatically reads the linked sessions and summarize the work -Best of all, I own everything locally and Anthropic can't take it away from me What kind of plugins are you making?

Bot Mode is released! I think this is a feature that could really transform our workflows, but we'll need to figure out the best way to use it One idea I had was a Bot HR: A bot used only to create other specialist bots based on a projects needs I made a quick demo for this concept, I think it worked out pretty well! What new ideas are you trying to get the most out of Bot Mode?

Did you know the Hermes Desktop app can make its own custom UI elements? Brooklyn introduced this today, and I thought this was really cool. In this video, I asked Hermes to make me two widgets: 1. System memory monitor 2. Floating widget with live baseball score updates Now you can really make the Desktop app your own!

Have you tried the latest annotation feature in the Hermes Desktop app? I asked Hermes to open up huggingface in the in-app browser, review all the trending models that would fit on my Spark, and annotate them It didn't just draw boxes, it labeled them in the format and conditions they would fit It also works with images. I asked Hermes to find images from today's Browns preseason game and annotate all the images with QBs It also works INSIDE single images. I had Hermes find an image of the Supreme Court, and annotate all the justices based on the part of the president that nominated them. It created a standalone html file with clear boxes Another new way to interact and work together with Hermes! How would you use it?

It's now even easier to switch between different gateways and their profiles in the Hermes Agent Desktop App I made a quick video showing: - How to set up a connection to a VPS or SSH agent - Click between your primary gateway and the connected gateways in the bottom status bar - See all the profiles from ALL your connected gateways, and click them to jump to that gateway and profile - Just general speed improvements switching between these things These may seem like small changes, but add up to huge UX improvements for users like me who like to use multiple devices and profiles. Check it out!

This new Hermes Desktop browser isn't just an extra window with a browser bolted on, the agent can operate, see, and analyze what it sees along with you I made a short video demonstrating this, but here are just a few things you can do with it: You can scroll X, then ask for a summary of your feed or what the hot topics are You can watch a tutorial video from your favorite YouTuber **cough cough* and then ask your agent to pull transcripts, explain certain concepts from the video, or even implement them directly! You can ask for research on some open source memory solutions for agents, open those links right in the browser, then review them together

What can you do with persistent multi-gateway connections in the Hermes Desktop app? I made a quick video showing how you can add multiple local or cloud agents to a single desktop app and use Bot Mode to quickly chat with each Plus, I make a multi-gateway group for agents from three different machines to work together on the same project at the same time. I figured the responses would be quick delayed, but as you see in the video there was very little latency between them This opens up a lot of workflow possibilities!

Hermes Agent Desktop App is getting some major UI upgrades! In this short video, I demo how to drag different session context into your current project, as well as how to use multisession tabs and adjust the session panes to get the perfect layout. If you're always working on multiple projects like me, this really makes it easy to keep track of how each agent is working. Looking forward to seeing more upgrades in the Desktop App!
