Use whatever method that works for you. But this is why I can’t use the line on my ball to putt. Here is a close up of Aaron Rai’s putt from today. To be fair I have no idea what Aaron Rai’s process is on the green. Not sure if he’s trusting the line of the putter face or the line of the ball. Or maybe neither. All I know is if I ever look down and see conflicting lines, I’ll start second guessing everything about my read.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Watching and emulating LPGA swings instead of PGA swings would do most amateurs a lot of good.

Does anyone else love Ryan Gerard’s move as much as I do? Ultra strong grip, whips it inside, shut face. Hard penetrating bullet cuts. Careful trying this move at home kids.

Crazy view of Scotty hitting a short-sided chip with the face wide open. These guys make this shot look so routine it’s sickening.

Martin Laird. Another 2010s grinder who built a solid career and consistently cashed checks. 4 PGA Tour wins and over 22 million in earnings.

Still don’t understand how he managed with this club to keep the ball low, draw it, and still carry the green.

Figured Russell Henley deserved a proper appreciation post after the weekend. A stand up golfer and human by all accounts. Full-time on tour since 2013 and has put together a very respectable resume. - 5 PGA tour wins - 5 top 10 major finishes - 300+ starts - 120+ top 25s

Charley Hoffman definitely is a top 5 favorite swing for me. Big fan of the three-quarter sawed off action. Netted 36 million over his career. Not bad…

I think at this point, most newer golfers know Kevin Kisner from YouTube instead of the PGA. But I’ve always known him as that guy with the textbook positions and the quiet lower body. He’s no longer a full time player on tour. Shame.

The curious case of Danny Willet. A career where his ceiling/potential aligned once perfectly, then never again. Open: T6 (2015) PGA: T9 (2015) Masters: Won (2016) U.S. Open: T12 (2016)

Can’t get enough of this golf swing. Not sure what it is that makes it so enjoyable to watch. Very similar to Ludvig Aberg in its simplicity.

Thank God no one got seriously injured, but I do hope more casual fans see stuff like this. Terrible lie. Awkward stance. Your life is more important than a cool video. Eventually someone is going to take one straight to the dome on live TV.

Charl Schwartzel back in 2011. I think this was the textbook for a number of years.

Man I miss 2010s golf. How great was this move by Graeme McDowell. Rory isn’t the only talent from Northern Ireland. 16 wins worldwide and a US Open.

Anyone else remember Cameron Champ mania? His rise coincided with the obsessive shallowing era, which made him even more popular. He managed three PGA Tour wins before losing his card last year.

Golf swing got you feeling down? Feel like no matter what new club/arm/body manipulation you try, you just get more confused? Try a one time dose of Louis Oosthuizen.
