Always been a huge fan of the Sam Burns’ wrist hinge to start the swing. Almost looks like he’s pressing the butt end of the club down to hinge it up. As someone who has always fought an inside takeaway, this feeling has helped a lot.

Use whatever method that works for you. But this is why I can’t use the line on my ball to putt. Here is a close up of Aaron Rai’s putt from today. To be fair I have no idea what Aaron Rai’s process is on the green. Not sure if he’s trusting the line of the putter face or the line of the ball. Or maybe neither. All I know is if I ever look down and see conflicting lines, I’ll start second guessing everything about my read.
