We're regularly hosting real 15-student 40-minute classes in our MR classroom app. Tag tracking lets us easily connect and colocate Quests just by looking at a tag. Quick, simple, and robust. This really should be a default API :(

Working on room scan streaming for the Lasertag game: headsets build a shared heightmap of the playspace collaboratively in the background. Quest's depth estimation is only good up to ~5 meters, so this lets people fight at greater distances

here's a nicer live-mapping method on Quest. Sampling depth texture and writing greatest y position per x,z world heightmap pixel. It's rough but semi-functional Bad performance is from the debug mesh rather than the world mapper itself. Runs fine with the mesh off.
