Sometimes the most elegant results are the subtle ones.... This 40-year-old patient wanted enhancement that felt refined, proportional, and naturally suited to her frame, moving from a B cup to a C cup with 300cc saline smooth round moderate profile implants placed submuscularly through an inframammary incision. Beautiful surgical results are not defined by size alone. They are defined by balance, shape, support, and how confidently a patient carries the result afterward. 3 months post-op and healing beautifully. #BreastAugmentation #PlasticSurgery #InternalBra #BeforeAndAftershow more

A 34-year-old man is admitted to the emergency room... after falling from a motorcycle at high speed. According to witnesses, the patient collided directly with the vehicle’s fuel tank before being thrown to the ground. Upon arrival, he presents with intense pain in the perineal region, progressive penoscrotal edema, and inability to urinate. During the initial assessment, urethrorrhagia is noted from the urethral meatus. On physical examination, an extensive “butterfly wing” perineal hematoma is observed, along with marked tenderness to palpation of the bulbar urethra and slight suprapubic distension. Vital signs remain stable. Would you insert a urinary catheter in this patient? What procedure is being performed on the image? What is the diagnosis?show more

🙏🙏 A doctor broke down after losing a patient.... Some labeled it unprofessional. Thousands saw it as the purest form of humanity. Outside a hospital in Southern California, a paramedic quietly captured a moment most people never witness. An ER doctor, crouched against a wall, overwhelmed with grief after losing a 19-year-old patient. With permission, a colleague shared the image. Within hours, it spread everywhere. Minutes later, that same doctor wiped their tears and walked back in to save the next life. The photo hit hard because it revealed what is usually hidden. Doctors are taught to stay steady in chaos, but no one teaches them how to carry the weight of loss. One physician was once reported for "unprofessional conduct" simply for crying. Her supervisor told her that unless she was the one dying, tears had no place in the hospital. Another doctor put it into words: "Every patient we lose doesn't leave... it stays, like a scar that never fades." This image keeps resurfacing, again and again, because it reminds people of something important. Behind every calm face in a hospital is a human being who feels every loss. In a profession built on saving lives, the ones they couldn't save are the ones they never forget 🙏show more

Story behind the story: A video of a young... woman with a congenital disorder showing off fresh breast removal scars has gone viral. The posts have no context and are being used for engagement farming. But who is the woman? Sarah Fields was the first to report that the woman used in trans-activist content is Mara J. LeRoy, a Minneapolis-based 19-year-old who changed her name to Micah LeRoy. The woman has an extremely woke, anti-Trump leftist activist mother. Mara is also surrounded by others who record videos and photos of her medical and surgical transition for social media. Leftist Minnesota state rep. @RepAliciaMN had met with Mara and her mother in a post celebrating the eradication of sex-based rights in her state.show more

Flint Community Schools released a statement saying that the teacher in the video is doing well and has been released from the hospital. What do you think are the underlying causes of kids reacting in this manner to authority? What can we do better as a society to try and prevent this sort of behavior? Is it a lack of parenting? Is it mental health? Is it children who are unattended too?show more

Rivian has announced in a new blog post that... it is still aiming to release point-to-point assisted driving later this year, with widespread rollout in 2027. "Enter an address and supervise while your vehicle follows the route from start to finish, handling city streets, highway interchanges and everything in between. A limited rollout begins later this year, with a widespread customer rollout targeted for 2027. The path from Universal Hands-Free to Point-to-Point is shorter than it looks from the outside, because so much of the work is already done. Every mile our fleet drives makes our Large Driving Model smarter for the next one. 🚨 DENTISTS ARE FIRING LASERS INTO PATIENTS’ THROATS TO... STOP SNORING — AND PEOPLE ARE COMPLETELY FREAKED OUT A dentist is going viral after posting footage of a glowing green laser being used deep inside a patient’s throat as part of a non-surgical treatment designed to reduce snoring and improve sleep. According to the clinic, the procedure is called “NightLase” and uses a Fotona laser to tighten soft palate tissue linked to airway obstruction and sleep-breathing issues. No cutting. No anesthesia. No downtime. But the internet is barely paying attention to the explanation. They’re focused on the footage itself. The glowing laser. The patient sitting awake. And the fact that dentists are now apparently treating sleep problems with what looks like futuristic sci-fi technology. Would you actually try this to stop snoring… or does this whole thing look insane? 📹: TikTik/thewellnessdentistshow more

Even for Kipekee, this is next level! Our small,... spoiled girl crowns herself the princess of every corner she trundles into. Today, she decided to give herself a nice little throne atop Mzinga. Our nanny-with-a-heart-of-gold didn't even blink – she was just happy to have Kipekee time! Kipekee is the youngest in the Nairobi herd, which means she is rarely short of company. She arrived at our Nursery fragile, tiny and in need of round-the-clock care. I will pray for Lindsey Vonn, obviously. No one... wants to see someone injured that badly. Praise God it wasn’t worse. At last update, she underwent surgery for a broken leg and is stable while expected to make a full recovery. But there is a lesson to be learned here. Pride and ego can be a dangerous thing. She entered the Olympics with a torn ACL. The ACL is the ligament that stabilizes your knee in regard to lateral movement - something which is pretty critical in downhill skiing. Her sport is dangerous enough without competing in it with such a serious injury. It wasn’t a sprain. It wasn’t “sore”. It was torn. It was a foolish decision. Her coaches should be ashamed for letting her compete in the first place. There is NO acceptable reason that she should have taken the hill. Not one. As for her, her pride went beyond the point of being admirable and right into being foolish. She already had an insanely storied career, what more was there to prove as a 41 year old with one rebuilt knee and a torn ACL in the other knee? “Thou shalt not tempt thy Lord, thy God” comes to mind. He will often times allow your pride to teach you a harsh lesson. Remember that. “Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before stumbling.” - Proverbs 16:18show more

We live in an age of youth sport specialization.... When I was a kid in the 1980s and 90s, myself and every kid I knew played multiple sports. Rightly or wrongly, this has changed. Kids specializing in one sport is the norm. This is why once kids show an interest in strength training, I think it’s important to balance the body in reverse of their sport. My daughter is a 12-year old soccer player, and one of several exercises I’m using with her is the nordic curl. This is because they’re fun, easily scalable (with the ATG Family Nordic Bench), and will help build up her resilience and strength behind her knees—crucial for lowering the chances of serious knee injury! And if you don't have access to a nordic bench just use a pad as shown in the scond clip.) ATG Exercise Coachingshow more

Scientists suspect that at the threshold of death, the... human brain may display activity patterns similar to memory replay. One published study reported intriguing findings from EEG recordings of an 87-year-old patient who died of a heart attack. The study observed elevated gamma brain waves, which are often associated with memory, dreaming, and conscious thought. This phenomenon is sometimes referred to as a “life recall experience,” in which a person subjectively feels as if they are replaying moments from their life immediately before or after the heart stops beating. This may occur because as the brain begins to lose its oxygen supply, it can release bursts of intense neural activity in parts of the cerebral cortex, potentially triggering a surge in memory-related processing. Although more research is needed, these findings offer a new perspective on how the brain may still show organized activity even after the heart has stopped. This could provide a biological basis for various reports of near-death experiences, which often include life review or vivid flashbacks.show more
