A police dog doesn't know about retirement, pensions, or... medals. He only knows his partner. For eight years, Bruno showed up every day ready to work. When his time came, he reached out one last time and wrapped his paws around the officer who had been by his side through it all. Dogs don't care about your rank, your paycheck, or your title. They just love you with everything they have. If you've ever had to say goodbye to a good dog, this one is going to hit hard.show more

To those who say "it's her choice" I used... to say the same thing about my own Hijab. I was covered head to toe. Even on the beach. Even with my male relatives. And when people challenged me, I said: this is my choice. You know why? Because the other option was burning in hell, hung by my hair for eternity. That's what they taught me since childhood. Yes, let me repeat it for you to just understand about our version of “freedom of choice.” I grew up in an Islamist culture that gave me two options. Cover yourself and go to heaven. Or don't cover, and be hanged by your hair and burned in hell. Like when someone puts a gun to your head and says "you can go left or right", technically, yes, that's a choice. I picked heaven. I called it freedom. And I believed it, because that's what happens when fear is all you've ever known. And if you think I shouldn't be telling you my story, I don't care. I really, genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, don't care. The women still living under that "choice"? I care about them. #LetUsTalkshow more

My love, Arewa Sadia Damilola, ever since we got... married, your entire life has revolved around me and our children. You gave up so much for this family to work, and for that, I am forever grateful. I recalled, when you celebrated your birthday 12years ago after winning the revered crown of AREWA OFFA, I reached out to congratulate you on your victory and birthday, unknown to me, that move would lead to having you as my life partner. Having you by my side makes me the happiest, most grateful and luckiest person in the world. Truly, in you I found a pious life companion. You have been a wonderful friend, sister, wife and mummy ZeeSultan and I sincerely appreciate your sacrifices, understanding and support in all aspects. As you celebrate another birthday today, surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. More years in good health filled with Allah's rahma. Happy birthday from your better half, Zeenatullah and Sultan. Cheers ❤️🎂🥂 #ArewaCEO #YeyeAareBobajiroshow more

❗🇺🇦👊 Zelenskyy delivers a strong and direct message to... Putin: 🗣️ “If you personally, in your own thoughts, have not yet reached the conclusion that the time has come to end this war, Ukraine will continue to fight for its existence. We will have those who will support us. But you too will have to fight much harder for your own existence — not for Russia’s, but for your personal one. And this is not a threat from me or from Ukraine. These are the facts of Russian history, which you know very well: When Russia gets tired, changes happen.” This is one of Zelenskyy’s sharpest and most psychologically pointed messages to Putin. He places full personal responsibility for the war on the Russian leader and subtly reminds him of the historical fate of Russian rulers who exhaust their country in prolonged conflicts. The tone is confident, calm, and uncompromising. Video is generated by grok AIshow more

On this, my birthday… I thank God for a... year, though with more challenges than victories, that taught me lessons hidden in pain, in loss, in struggle. For showing me that taking a noble stand, even if it costs you, even when you’re criticized, is far better than living safe, silent, and untested. I Thank God for a year that built grit in so many of us and taught us more about the invincible power of not giving up. For the humbling truth that no one person can save the world but we all can serve in it - especially in small acts. Daily kindness. And maybe that’s how the world heals, not all at once, but a million times over. Thank you for reminding me, in a long year, to hold onto wonder, joy and even fun - as defiance, as resistance, as restoration in the long fight. And this year… thank you for a love that changed my life, for a wife who brought with her a universe of joy, and a partner to walk with, day by day, turning the ordinary into something sacred. Another year older. Another year grateful. Another year still learning how to love, to serve, to stand. (Thank you jin_sung_sa for sharing this precious birthday greeting with your followers and me).show more

This is for a girl with a pure soul... and a huge heart 💔 she just wanted to dance. Naomie Aliza Bikhar, 23 A French-Israeli citizen She was murdered by Hamas terrorists at the Supernova music festival on Oct 7. This is her story: She attended the rave alongside her boyfriend, Oz Ezra, who was also slain that day. The pair tried to flee the onslaught of terrorists, and Oz was shot in the shoulder but continued to run for safety. At the Shaar Hanegev junction, Naomie was killed by a group of terrorists while on a video call with her friends. She was buried in Ashdod on October 9. She is survived by her mother, Simona, and her siblings Livnat, David, Noa and Aviv. Born in France, she and her family moved to Israel when she was 13, following the death of her father, Jacky, according to a eulogy posted on the Ashdod municipal website. The family settled in Ashdod, where she attended religious schools After finishing school, Naomie followed her older sister Livnat into the world of cosmetology, after years of practicing on her friends. Her family said she loved to travel, loved parties and raves — where she met Oz — and was always singing and dancing. Her childhood friend, Eliahu Cohen, wrote on Instagram that he wanted to thank Naomie “for being a huge part of my life, not a day went by when we wouldn’t meet up and spend time together, there wasn’t a day when you didn’t make me laugh so hard it hurt.” Eliahu wrote that he misses “arguing with you about songs” in the car, getting coffee together, how she would send him his horoscope every morning. “Thank you for turning everywhere we went into one big adventure, from Mexico to Greece or even just going to the mall,” he added. “Thank you for lighting up my life and always giving me the best advice, thank you for always lifting my spirits with your crazy joy for life, that you had until your last moments. Thanks for all the times when I needed you and you showed up for me.” Naomie’s mother, Simona, wrote that she was “memorializing you at every opportunity. Thanks to you I was privileged to have a girl with a pure soul, a huge heart, always loved to help others. You’d always bring all your friends over and style them and do their hair and makeup — it was so important to you that others had more than you.” “You are so very missed… my Nono, mom loves you and misses you, and every day I thank God for giving you to me for 23 years.” May Naomie’s memory forever be a blessing 🕯️show more

In simple terms: The best hitters create power and... adjustability by using their trunk (rib cage and torso) efficiently. When the shoulders stay back a little longer, hitters gain two huge advantages: 👉They don't commit too early, which gives them more time to recognize and adjust to pitches. 👉They can create a bigger burst of speed when it's time to swing. Think of it like a rubber band. The longer you can keep tension without forcing it, the more powerful the release. For that to happen, the upper body and lower body can't move as one rigid piece. The pelvis starts and slows down at different times than the rib cage. That separation is what creates both power and adjustability. ❌Hitters who move everything together usually have to commit earlier and have fewer options when the pitch isn't what they expected. Power and adjustability aren't opposites—they come from the same ability to sequence the body correctly. Use this simple drill connecting a pvc pipe or long tube to the chest and practice your best range of motion every day before you hit.show more

🍕Kind Pizza Driver Leaves £40 & Heartfelt Note for... Struggling Mum ❤️ Francesca Emmott, a single mum of two in Lancashire, was heartbroken when her 11-year-old daughter secretly ordered an 18-inch Margherita pizza for herself and her little brother - because the family was so broke they’d just visited a foodbank. When the delivery driver arrived and saw Francesca in tears, promising to pay later, he was deeply moved. He waived the cost, gave her a hug, and later quietly posted £40 through the letterbox with this touching note: “Here is something for you and your family. It’s not much, but from my heart. That day broke me. Hope your daughter enjoyed the pizza.” The single mum and her daughter both cried - overwhelmed by such unexpected kindness from a stranger who understood struggle himself. A beautiful reminder that compassion can turn a tough day into one they’ll never forget. 🙏show more

Today I'm excited to announce that Opal has raised... a $6M Seed round in just 4 hours. Our first angel, Ian Crosby, made one call on my behalf when I moved to San Francisco. That call changed everything. I moved to SF on October 17th. The next morning, my phone rang. Lan Xuezhao from Basis Set was on the other end. I’d never met her before. She said: "Ian tells me I need to meet you immediately. Can we go for a walk tomorrow?" We lived five blocks apart. The walk was supposed to be one hour. We ended up walking for four. She was asking questions to get to know me as a person. Feeling me out for one thing: Am I the kind of founder crazy enough to build a credit card company with no finance degree and no banking connections? By the end of the walk, we had agreed on terms. Today, Opal is announcing our $6M seed round, led by Basis Set, with participation from Founders Co-op, Ian Crosby, and Adam Orser. We didn't start as a credit card company. But our customers told us we had to be. Here's what we've built: - A Visa credit card built exclusively for ad agencies and the brands they manage - Credit limits that reach seven figures - underwritten on managed ad spend, not agency revenue - 1%+ cash back on all ad spend - A fraud system that actually understands ad spend, so Google and Meta charges never get flagged and kill your campaigns Traditional banks look at an agency's revenue and give them a $50K limit. We look at the millions they manage for clients and give them what they actually need. To Lan Xuezhao and the team at Basis Set - thank you for betting on this on day two. To Ian Crosby - you opened a door I didn't even know existed. None of this happens without you. To the Opal team - you're building something that doesn't exist anywhere else. That takes a specific kind of crazy. I'm grateful for every one of you. If you run an ad agency and your credit limits are costing you - reach out. We built this for you.show more

we sped up distributed inference by up to 5x... with decentralized speculative decoding. many don't realize that AI models normally generate text one single word at a time, waiting for the network after every word. speculative decoding changes this by using a "guess & confirm" system, similar to autocomplete. how it's done: 1. draft locally (the guess) instead of waiting for the network, a tiny, fast model on your device guesses the next few words instantly, without waiting for the network. 2. confirm remotely (the check) the massive remote model doesn't generate from scratch; it just checks the draft. it looks at the guesses in a batch and says "yes, yes, no." you get multiple words in the time it usually takes to get one. 3. adaptive logic dsd is smart. if the topic is creative, it lets the draft flow loose. if the topic is math or code, it checks more strictly. it balances speed and precision automatically so your inference almost feel instant. find out more: paper: blog:show more

FABLE 5 + HIGGSFIELD JUST KILLED THE $35,000 WEB... AGENCY. The same animated website that used to cost between $6,000 and $35,000 can now be built in a single session for around $12 in AI credits. Claude Code handles the website. Higgsfield creates the visuals. Together, they can build a complete scroll-driven website from a simple prompt. Claude writes the layout, GSAP ScrollTrigger animations, Lenis smooth scrolling, responsive pages, and checks everything before you ship. Higgsfield generates the hero videos, cinematic transitions, ambient loops, thumbnails, and every visual asset you need. By the end of one session, you have a fully animated website with cinematic motion, smooth scrolling, optimized assets, responsive layouts, and polished visual effects like film grain, particles, vignette, glass cards, and color tints. Getting started only takes a few minutes. Add Higgsfield as an MCP server inside Claude Code, complete the OAuth login once, and Claude can generate and pull videos directly into your project without manually exporting anything. The prompts are simple. Give Claude your project brief and ask it to script the entire scroll experience. Tell it to generate a hero video and supporting clips for every section. Ask it to add the finishing touches like film grain, particles, glass cards, and scroll pacing. Then let it review the site, improve loading speed, fix mobile layouts, and rewrite anything that doesn’t work. This replaces work that usually looks like this: A $6,000-$35,000 web agency. An $800-$2,000 motion designer. A $2,000-$10,000 front-end developer. And weeks of back-and-forth before launch. Now it’s Fable 5, Higgsfield, a subscription, a few dollars in AI credits, and one session. The pipeline used to be the advantage. Now it’s just a prompt. Full breakdown in the article below.show more

I remember you well: You may not remember me,... but I remember you very clearly. That very day when you surrounded our car with Kalashnikovs. You forced us out of the vehicle, searched our bodies under the pretext of “security,” and humiliated us. You were looking inside the car for “threats to security”; security that, apparently, was hidden in the phones of a few ordinary citizens, while the smallest details of your own information were never hidden from foreign intelligence services. I asked you: Why? You were drunk on power, backed by military-grade bullets. Your only reply was one sentence: “Shut up.” When you found nothing in the car or our phones, you furiously slammed the car body, not to search it, but to frighten us even more, us, your own fellow citizens. Now I see the drone attack footage on your checkpoint. And before anyone says “karma,” let me be very clear: This is not the karma of your actions. It is simply the consequence of the same violence, the same humiliation of people, and the same illusion of power that you have lived with for years. And now, for me, you are no longer compatriots, nor do I have even a moment of mourning left for you. 🎥 A video of attacks on the forces of the Islamic Republic regime #IranWar2026 #IranRevolution2026show more

Why is the national guard handing out coffee and... donuts? The ret*rds among the Amerimutt right don't understand why the National Guard of Minnesota are giving out donuts and coffee to the locals in Minneapolis. They're too inexperienced to understand basic COIN principles. You must win over the locals. You have to meet with them, create every opportunity to connect. Make them like you and do it in a genuine, and human way. Once you do that 90% of your operations are basically done. This is how the US gets to stay in extremely dangerous places around the world, and the unit responsible for it is CAPOC. It's manned by extremely charismatic and intelligent officers. Every event and encounter is accounted for, studied and eventually every loss is turned into a win. In Vietnam era terminology it's called winning hearts and minds. The majority of humans, by their core nature, are unwilling to attack a friendly face. Furthermore, when they connect with someone, genuinely, they are unlikely to betray them most of the time. Stack these events and the likelihood of immersion with the locals becomes high. Then you facilitate your strategic objectives, without any interference from the locals, because they're already on your side. What you don't do is a road-side execution, fit for a terror organisation. This doesn't just lose you the locals but creates an environment where people around the world want to actively see you harmed, or lose. Every local you kill has hundreds of friends and potentially thousands of associations. Do this enough times and the entire city will want to hunt you down. So, while the e-right laugh at the competent national guard, they're busy winning, one hot coffee, one donut, one hand shake and one conversation at a time.show more

this is more useful than my entire degree Elon... Musk's rocket company signed a $60,000,000,000 deal for Cursor in June, and eight days ago the two of them put a worker on sale for $200 a month: it gets its own computer in the cloud, signs into your accounts, clicks through your real apps, and hands back finished work instead of a draft for you to paste i ran one against my receipts folder on sunday and got back 14 filed, 2 it held because they needed a card number, and a saved method i never wrote myself Grok Bot is the one you train by doing your own job in front of it, and the whole handover fits in four messages tonight: 1. write out one job you did today the way you would brief a new hire: what has to be finished, which sites and files to work from, what to hand back, and where it stops and asks you 2. let it run once on something safe to get wrong, then correct the result until it is worth your name 3. say "save what we just did as a skill", and add the one rule about what always needs your approval 4. say "run that skill every weekday at 8 and post the result here. if the source is missing, tell me instead of using yesterday's numbers" xAI wrote that order into its own manual: one real job, then the saved method, then the clock. a schedule sitting on top of a method nobody checked replaces two hours of your clicking with two hours of your mistake turns out you never get to pick the brain, and that is the part i would argue about: the manual says there is no model picker for members or admins, no plan to add one, and the bill follows whichever model answered bookmark this, then open the piece below: which jobs deserve a worker of their own, and which ones quietly burn the seat ↓show more

My ordinary grocery "Meat Markdown" hunt was delayed by... a Pharmacist as I walked into the store. He was standing at a display table & announced, "If you schedule 2+vaccines for the same visit we are giving a dozen doughnuts for free as a thank you for getting your preventive shots." He handed me a list of available vaccines while he held a clip board with a signup sheet. He was offering: Covid/Flu Shingles Pneumonia Hepatitis A & B RSV Tdap Meningitis HiB HPV Tetanus When I replied thank you, but no thank you..... He smiled & nodded, then said if I transferred my Prescriptions, I could get the dozen doughnuts as a thank you also. I took a deep breath & smiled. I thanked him again & said, " I don't have any Prescriptions to transfer." He said, "we can call your Dr & have them transferred." Still smiling....I said, "There's none to transfer sir." He appeared puzzled & clarified, "you're not on any meds? Can I ask how old you are?" I shared, "I used to take more than 15 Medications, but I've healed those conditions. And of course you can ask, I am 54." He hesitated a few seconds & finally said, "I've never met anyone our age on no Meds, I'm on 5." Smiling I said, "Glad I am your first & I hope I'm not your last." "Meds only caused side effects for me, never healed anything." I went on to the Meat Dept & I heard him start his "free doughnuts for vaccines" speech again with the next customer coming through the entrance.show more

The time has finally come for me to watch... this biggest little film of ours fly out of our hands and into the world. To Chris Sanders, working on this story with you has been a dream come true. I will never forget how my stunned little heart felt the day you and Jeff offered me Head of Story. It has been one of the great thrills of my life to shape this story with you. Thank you. To my story team! Thank you. You, along with our amazing production team lead by Jeff, Heather, Stephanie and our powerhouse edit team lead by Mary, are all brilliant and I loved every minute of finding and crafting this story with you. I was in the middle of boarding The Egg Hatches scene, when I got the news that my mom had unexpectedly passed away from a complication during surgery. And part of me feels like there is some beautiful symbolism there that right when I lost her, this thing was being born for me to help me deal with her loss. As story artists, we have to live in the scenes that we work on for hours each day. And this film (from peter brown! ‘s beautiful book) gave me a place to live. In scenes and a story that could honor my mom, and all mothers. And that is just a gift that I can never repay any of you for. I still ask myself sometimes, how did I get so lucky that they offered this to me? But I’m so glad they did because I think I needed this project even more than it needed me. On one of my last days in London watching the record of Kris Bowers’ beautiful score, sitting in the converted church that is Air Studios, I could somehow feel my mom speaking to me through the words of the lovely choir: I’m gonna live forever in you, long as the sky and oceans are blue, I’ll always love you and I’ll never stop. I’ll always be there even when I’m not.” And everything came full circle. I miss you Mom. I hope that this film will always stand as a love letter to all moms. As it was the place I put all of my unexpressed love for you. And with that, it’s just as hard for me to say these words as it was for Roz in The Wild Robot but here goes: ROZZUM 7134 Task Complete ✔️ I really hope you all love the film. 🥺♥️ #TheWildRobotshow more
