Moved by this unconditional love, Saito closed his company and sold his Ferrari to dedicate his life to helping other animals in need. With the funds, he established Wansfree, a rescue shelter for dogs that are abandoned, mistreated, or labeled “too difficult” to rehome, offering them food, care, and freedom. Wansfree now cares for around 40 dogs and several cats, many with traumatic pasts, and Saito dreams of expanding the facility so it can shelter up to 300 dogs by 2028, giving more animals a chance at a safe and loving life.show more

Two rides at Thorpe Park, including the brand new... Hyperia, broke down at the same time yesterday on the hottest Bank Holiday Monday on record. Riders were left stranded 200 feet up at the apex of Hyperia for around 30 minutes in 33°C heat, before the ride was eventually restarted. A second ride at the park also went down simultaneously, leaving visitors stuck mid-ride during the peak of the heatwave.
