While PixelUI is literally the smoothest and the best... animated UI I've personally ever used, it has the weirdest bug ever? 😭 And yes, that's right. Only ONE bug that I've faced so far. But it's a huge one. Navigation gestures have been set as default on Pixels for years now, and I personally thought Google had completely perfected them (if they are so confident in them). But apparently not. It's not even a consistent bug. Sometimes it's there, and sometimes it just disappears entirely on its own. When you open an app and then immediately close it, the animation can break ENTIRELY. And this started happening with Android 17 on my 10a. Android 16 was perfect. It just looks so bad, and I'm not even sure how or why it happens. It's very random. Personally, I'm fine dealing with linear and non-parallel animations which PixelUI still uses (meaning that animations can't be interrupted while in progress), but this is just unacceptable imo... I often open apps accidentally, so I immediately close them and almost every single time I face this thing. Please Google, your UI already is almost entirely bug-free (wink wink iOS). I’m probably one of the only Teslanaires out there,... if not one of the very few, still cutting my own hair. I cut my own hair again today, and it reminded me that becoming a multi-millionaire usually isn’t a random coincidence. People see the $ and think it just happened. The Sabotaging Practice of Over Supply and Sameness in... the NFT Space. The current zeitgeist of the NFT space is that the same artists are doing the same kind of work five times a year, with project after project leaving a trail of disappointment and discontent among collectors and all of us watching in disbelief as huge resources are extracted from the space over work that feels like it could be left as an "artist study." I understand that you can do what you want with your money as collectors, but we are killing the whole space with this incestuous practice. No artist is that prolific to be able to do 5 collections of 100+ pieces each every year and actually deliver innovation and some kind of creative evolution. Of course, they can pretend play that the work has something new, but there is no precedent nor proof that that has ever happened in the speed that it happens in the NFT space. Again, people are free to through away their resources on whatever they want but with this way of doing things, we more and more are going to start seeing the consequences. Oh! There are consequences? Yes. Maybe unintended, but there are. Let's see. Let's start with the loss of belief in the NFT space as somewhere where emerging artists can come and find support for their experiments. Why even bother to bring experiments, innovation, and new ways to think of art on the blockchain if the same people have all the collectors hypnotized with their magical flutes? Why even try to come to a space where taking risks and challenging the status quo (the mission of art!!!) is overlooked? This makes the NFT space a social club and not a space for art. I guess it is fine, but IMO it is a recipe for disaster. New collectors stay away because the art will slowly but surely become stale and un-challenging. Why even bother to come and see what is happening here if you can't, as a collector, see new weird and up-and-coming artists? The amount of noise emitted by the same artists doing the same art over and over, drowns out any new voices. Again. A recipe for disaster. The NFT space is becoming a space of disappointment and doubt. We think that collections going to zero one after the other, over and over, is not damaging? I feel we are kidding ourselves. Disappointment piles up, and again, the people who will hurt are the emerging artists, the new blood, the ones who are willing to risk the most and, in return, put fire in this cold space of sameness. I love this space—don't get me wrong—it has changed my life, and I believe it has a ton of potential, but things need to change for it to become a beacon of light in art. But we need to support new voices. We need to support new ideas. The challenge is huge. I hope to contribute all I can to this change. I hope more and more see how exciting it is to go out and try to discover what else is out there and move this space forward. At present most of the blog DSA sites have lengthy articles which you read via scrolling. It looks daunting when you start with it. At TakeUforward, we are trying to change this, and help out users with an easier way to navigate and read. We want the logic to be something as you can see in the video.. the design is just a rough one, and is no where close to what we want it to be. The typical article will have problem statement, examples, followed by this sticky bar, which helps us to navigate, and ease out reading.. You can feel free to suggest more changes we can do, or some design recommendations. During training, you visit many of the facilities that... will eventually play a role in your mission. Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39A was one of them. This visit felt different. Standing at the base of the tower and looking up, I was reminded that this is the very place from which Neil Armstrong and his crewmates began their journey to the Moon. The facility has evolved over the decades and has been modernized for a new era of spaceflight, but it still carries the weight of its history. You can feel it. Then there is the elevator. Inside, there are only two buttons: Earth and Space. A simple design choice, perhaps, but one that feels remarkably profound when launch day finally arrives. What you see here is me at the top of the launch pad, with the Falcon 9 yet to make its way out. The rocket is transported to the pad horizontally and then raised to a vertical position before launch. Standing there, it was impossible not to imagine the events that would soon unfold. Most dog owners don't realize this….that slimy layer in your dog's bowl isn't just leftover food—it's bacteria buildup. Over time, it can contribute to upset stomachs, diarrhea, and even your dog not wanting to eat. A quick rinse isn't enough. Wash their bowl with dish soap daily. It's a small habit that makes a big difference. If you are doing this already, you are ahead of the game. But I know a lot of people don’t do this. Where does your true strength come from? Our strength... does not come from our circumstances, our abilities, or our own determination. It comes from Christ. There will be seasons when we feel capable and confident, and others when we feel weak, tired, or overwhelmed. Scripture reminds us that weakness is not the end of the story. It can become the very place where we learn to depend more fully on God. Paul writes, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). This does not mean Christ promises to make every task easy. It means that whatever God calls us to endure or accomplish, we do not face it alone. Jesus tells His disciples, “apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). Real spiritual strength begins with dependence. We remain close to Christ through prayer, Scripture, obedience, and trust, and He supplies what we lack. Even suffering can teach us this truth. Paul learned that Christ’s grace was sufficient for him and that God’s “power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). Instead of being ashamed of our limitations, we can bring them to Christ. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that those who wait for the Lord “shall renew their strength.” The Christian life is not about proving how strong we are. It is about learning where true strength is found: in Christ, who sustains us, strengthens us, and remains faithful through every trial.show more

Your baby needs a little tummy time daily. Yesterday... I wrote about crawling, noting that with sleep recommendations now (wisely) advising infants sleep only on their backs, babies are spending less and less time in a downward facing position - making it all the more important that parents build well supervised tummy time into their daily routines. Tummy time has many benefits. Primary among them, it strengthens the back, neck and arm muscles that help with holding up the head, rolling over, sitting and crawling. It also helps to decrease the incidence of flat spots on the back of your baby’s head. And it can help relieve gas and constipation, just to name a few. You can begin short, supervised periods of tummy time as soon as your child is born. These earliest sessions often begin on mom’s chest - but can be done on other safe surfaces as well. Begin with 2-3 minutes at a time and work your way up. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends increasing the frequency and duration of these sessions to the point your baby spends a total of 20-30 minutes a day by the time your baby is 7 weeks old. Be forewarned that, especially early on, tummy time is a workout (and therefore not always well liked by some children) - but with time and experience will help to develop the muscle strength your newborn lacks. This work makes a humanoid robot do simple parkour... moves by looking with a depth camera and choosing the right move on the fly. The big deal is that it turns lots of small human moves into long, real-time robot behavior, without hand-coding every transition or retraining for each new course. A humanoid robot is usually good at steady walking, but it often fails when it has to do fast moves like jumping up, vaulting, or rolling, and then keep going to the next obstacle. The hard part is that you cannot easily collect training data for every possible obstacle shape, distance, and mistake, so robots end up learning a few moves that only work in a narrow setup. This work starts from short clips of real human parkour moves, like stepping over, vaulting, climbing, and rolling. It uses motion matching, which is basically a smart “pick the next clip that fits best right now” search, to stitch those short clips into a long, smooth plan that looks like a human doing a whole course. Then it trains a controller with reinforcement learning (RL), which means the robot learns by trial and error to copy that plan while staying balanced and not falling. After training separate expert controllers for different moves, it compresses them into 1 controller that uses only onboard depth sensing and a simple “go this fast in this direction” command. In real tests on a Unitree G1 humanoid, it can clear multiple obstacles in a row, adapt when obstacles get moved, and climb a wall up to 1.25m.show more

💔It was the worst night yet, the shooting at... our homes lasted the entire night, and bombs dropped continously nearby. I am not doing well, my friends.
