Contextual delete confirmation, prototyped in Figma Why this matters?... Traditional delete modals often break the flow. They interrupt the user's context by pulling them into a separate layer just to confirm an action. On top of that, these modal typically lack a clear visual or spatial association with the element being deleted. The positioning feels arbitrary—detached from the target item—which can create hesitation or uncertainty for the user. To solve these issues, I designed a contextual delete confirmation that appears directly beneath the target element. Unlike traditional modals that pull users out of the flow and feel disconnected from the action they’re confirming, this approach keeps everything in context. By anchoring the confirmation to the element itself, it reinforces the association and reduces cognitive load—users instantly understand what they’re about to delete without losing their place or momentum.show more

🚨UPDATE: Users trying to delete their 23andMe DNA data... are facing website issues. Others who think they deleted it get a confirmation email — but buried inside is a link they still have to click to "complete" deletion. Looks like they really don't want us to delete the data.🤔show more

Design Engineering Tip: Add friction at the end of... a scroll interaction. When users reach the edge of a scrollable area, the movement should not just stop instantly. A subtle resistance, bounce, or slowdown can make the interface feel more physical and less mechanical. It helps users understand that they reached a boundary without needing extra labels or visual indicators. Used carefully, this can make scrolling feel more natural and closer to how objects behave in the real world.show more

ClickUp is working on agents that build custom user... interfaces on the fly. > Agents can build custom interactive blocks, with buttons, editable fields, and embedded charts. > Agents decide what the user needs to see and construct an interactive experience in real time. > Clicking or editing inside a generated block can fire an action directly. Agents will be able to create a working code block that responds to users' input, built in the moment for the task at hand.show more

New beta feature in T3 Code: "share with guest"... I'm so tired of copy pasting from a thread, sending it to a coworker, waiting for them to respond, screenshotting the context and sending it back to my agent. Now I just send them a link. It's a silly place to start, but I was heavily inspired by the Uber Eats/Doordash group order flow. If I send someone a link to my group order, they can add whatever they want, but ultimately I decide if the order goes through or not. Realized that flow would solve at least half the use cases I have for "shared threads", so it's now built into T3 Connect in T3 Code (nightly) Very curious how you guys feel about this flow. It's still early and I expect to adjust it a bunch (I left the ui bad so maria will come in to fix it sooner) Also s/o Opus 5.5 for making this lil video about the feature :)show more

One of the most common mistakes manufacturers make is... relying on engineering logic to shape user behavior, while ignoring how users actually feel. Engineers often believe that as long as a feature exists, moves, or looks different, users will appreciate it. Users, however, care about something much simpler: whether the experience feels natural, refined, and intuitive. Great user experience is never created by stacking options. It is created by coherence and emotional consistency. Samsung’s recent update to Lock Star is a clear example. The new version introduces unlock animations that appear to add playfulness, yet the real experience feels disappointing. Many of these animations come across as childish, low level, poorly connected, and mechanically rigid. They feel closer to children’s UI effects than something designed for Samsung’s broad premium user base. The issue is not the presence of animations themselves. The problem lies in the mindset behind them. These effects are clearly driven by implementation logic rather than user perception. The assumption seems to be that adding visual flair automatically creates delight, while ignoring rhythm, emotional tone, and aesthetic maturity. This reflects a long standing pattern in Samsung’s software design. Random stickers, cartoon like emojis, and decorative elements often appear without a cohesive design language. There is a belief that younger users are attracted to these visuals, yet for Gen Z, such elements often feel outdated, immature, and disconnected from a premium identity. Strong product design allows user experience to constrain engineering decisions. When engineering begins to entertain itself, users quietly begin to disengage. Let's see how far apart Samsung and Xiaomi are.show more

This is what life in the Army is all... about. I am impressed by the confidence of the officers from the Brig down to the Lieutenant - who are participating wholeheartedly without any hesitation alongside the soldiers. It feels like a traditional “Bada Khana” of an Army unit - an occasion celebrated after a victory, whether in sports or professional achievements or on the unit’s Raising Day. Officers eat the same food and share the same camaraderie as the soldiers. Hopefully, no one will label this as a “colonial tradition.”show more

In aeronautics, a spoiler (sometimes called a lift spoiler)... is a device which intentionally reduces the lift component of an airfoil in a controlled way. Most often, spoilers are plates on the top surface of a wing that can be extended upward into the airflow to spoil the streamline flow. By so doing, the spoiler creates a controlled stall over the portion of the wing behind it, greatly reducing the lift of that wing section. Spoilers differ from airbrakes in that airbrakes are designed to increase drag without disrupting the lift distribution across the wing span, while spoilers disrupt the lift distribution as well as increasing drag.show more

The US knew Israel was going to attack Iran,... and the response would target US assets in the region. This is confirmation that Israel forced the US to attack Iran. The often used argument of "the tail don't wag the dog" does is not true. Israel has total control over the US, they can do it through overt orders or forcing the hands of the US, knowing the US government would not retaliate. This is not a conspiracy anymore, it's the truth.show more

OFFICIAL: It has been 134 days since the release... of Totenreich, which is longer than the search for both Samantha's Drawing, and Gong COMBINED. With the release of s6 next week, it felt fitting to use our platform to get as many eyes on it as possible. As a quick disclaimer, just because things have been 'tested' does not mean it is not the solve. This post is also not an invitation to share your personal thoughts on datamining/leaks. This relic, by everything shown in the game files, can NOT be datamined: "Even in the current state of the game, relics are a lot harder to solve via datamining and ingame hack tools... For relics, only the sequential item ones (like Dancing Arnie and Agarthan device) are incredibly easy. Agarthan device with the helmet, radio, and mr peeks is actually the easiest. Dancing Arnie becomes hard due to it becoming a kill challenge for the lobster and you cant datamine that". Because of that, the leading theory is that the missing piece has to be something kill condition related, or player action related. Below is literally all of the information I could find on the belt that I thought was worth mentioning, to try and help the community solve this together. CONFIRMED: There is a magazine with a sticker of Mr Peeks holding a Geiger Counter that has a pickup interaction, and is located at the top of the lighthouse while you are picking up the Jotunn Star. This only appears in cursed mode, and appears without any relics active. Considering the only other grim relic (power switch) is solved, we know this mag fits in with the wrestlers belt in some way. The sticker comes directly from intel located on Paradox Junction. THEORIES: Treyarch Dev Tweet - One Treyarch dev tweeted out: "It feels very fitting this is the final unsolved relic given the reward... good luck" Coda Wallbuy Sounds - In a video, a user hears a distinct ding sound when buying ammo off of the coda wall buy in spawn. This has been difficult to replicate, but has been replicated by the original user. Disappearing Boxes - There are 7 boxes around the map that have a hit box, and disappear when hit/shot (they disappear fast with melee macchiato). Currently it is believed by the majority of the community that this is nothing Clocks - There are five clocks near Richtofen's office. Dataminers have said "The hour, minute and second hands are all separate individual models stacked on top of the base model. lol I mean it could mean something or it could just be nothing. Their design choices on some stuff is weird But it is a model without a script and isn’t setup to move in any way" Swordfish - The mag located at the top of the lighthouse is the same model of a mag from the Swordfish A1. Some people believe that is a hint for the swordfish being needed from the box in order to complete the relic. This presents a perfect opportunity to highlight our study.... The contrast in contextual awareness is striking—while the left recognizes and can demonstrate that these border measures already existed, the right remains largely uninformed. Instead, they celebrate a supposed victory, unaware that they are being misled. The repetition of these narratives within their echo chamber creates a powerful illusory truth effect, where even blatant falsehoods begin to feel like undeniable truths. No one within their sphere corrects them, and we’re dismissed outright—just “libtards,” after all. But what happens when Fox News refuses to acknowledge reality? When their followers mindlessly echo those talking points here? The cycle continues, reinforcing deception under the guise of truth. Eventually they get to the point of the last video. The confidence…and they’re wrong about 90% of the time because they’re not being told the truth.show more
