I’ve watching hundreds, maybe even thousands of hours of... elite MLB swings. This video work was done to determine their bat path. Their bat path determined their hard contact zone. As a catcher, my goal was to be above their bat path, or below their bat path. This was accomplished by utilizing velocity, movement, and obviously, location. The disruption of a hitter’s timing creates weak contact or swing and miss. Whenever I saw hitters that had a lengthy (3.5-4ft) of FLAT bat length in the zone, I knew that we would have to be very careful. These types of hitters had much room for error in their swing. They could be late, and line it oppo, or, they could be early on a hanger, and would pull it for damage. The more downward barrel tilt I saw, the more knob up I saw, and more barrel casting toward catcher I saw, it was always a lesser hitter I was watching. Perfect example here of a flat path. High heater, and flush contact. If you see barrel drop or a cast behind on this pitch, it’s a foul ball, swing and miss, or, a pop up on the infield.show more

Dear DGCA NIA India Air India Wanted to draw... your attention to a very serious matter. I was on AI 2469 Pune to Delhi. At three different times, when the flight was close to Delhi, three successive high power green colored lasers were beamed at the flight. I was able to capture only one. The flight path and log will be able to give you exact locations of the one I wasn’t able to capture. 1. Around 2120 - by the time I could get my phone and camera out, the plane had moved on and the beam stopped. Area unknown to me. 2. Around 2124 - I was able to record. The area was Churu- Tatanagar as informed by photo location feature. Recording attached. 3. Around 2128 - again, it flashed only for few seconds and by the time I started recording, it stopped. Area was Noida - Chapraula. I’ve highlighted the general area in the image attached. Threes successive beams, at regular intervals - you might want to check. There was a recent case in US just couple of weeks back where this laser pointing was taken very seriously by the agencies. And one odd guy fooling around is one thing. When we established a no-encampment zone in this corner... of San Jose, neighbors couldn’t understand why the city was able to keep the entire neighborhood clear — except for the most dangerous spot: along the railway. For months, hundreds of residents living in a mobile home park just beyond the fence still dealt with the impacts of unsheltered homelessness. Dogs barked at all hours, kids were jeered at and forced to stay indoors, and blight spread through the area. This community navigated layers of bureaucracy, worked through complicated jurisdictional boundaries, and demanded better. This week, my office partnered with Union Pacific to deliver it. It shouldn’t be this hard (or take this long!) to fix something like this. We need to take a hard look at the ways our systems put up unnecessary and frustrating barriers to action, and dismantle them. Because the bottom line is: people don’t care whose land it is. They want results — and we need to deliver them, faster. These new boulders will help keep the railway clear — for the safety of people still living unsheltered, and for the quality of life of the surrounding neighborhood. I was miraculously saved sometime in March 1997. That... night, I was going home with my guardian from our shop in Ebute meta area. So we rushed to join a bus that looks like the driver has been working on. The engine was really hot and the driver stupidly put the remaining fuel in his keg on top of the engine. It’s all those 16 sitter bus and 7 lives was ended in the bad incident. We haven’t moved much when the bus caught fire 🔥. Everyone was rushing to get out and some got burnt as they never make it out and that includes my aunt, aunty mi Bisi! My aunt got burnt along with her little beautiful boy, papa! Whom she’s was carrying on her back. I was in the last seat in the back and the bus had all this burglary windows. The fire was becoming much, then one spirit told me to walk thru it. The sound was very clear in my head and that was how I made it out with some burns on my body but it wasn’t much like that. Please always trust your instincts. When is the right time for you? - Based on your load style - Based on how long your load takes - Based on the pitcher’s velo, windup, or slide step —— If that’s you, try a “loaded at release” type load. Bobby Witt. Judge. Get your hip and elbow loaded early. Then stride with it ready to fire. “The pitcher is up there for 20 seconds telling you to get ready. Shame on you if you’re not ready to swing.” ____ If I have you in the cage, what I’ll do is have you get into a no stride position, get ready to swing and I stand there for 1-4 seconds… Holding my hand out over the plate ready to snap my fingers. When I snap, you swing. Do that 4-5x. You get the quickness, readiness feeling. Then we go back to stride with moving ball and you’re trying to time up that same GO move with the ball With your foot up in the air and the GO will make the foot go down. Not foot down then swing. The whole process of putting together the "I hate... cowboys" record and the "go down singin'" record was a long two years of figuring out how do something I've never done before. All the songs were written on guitar and a depth I haven't really hit before. This is the final piece of that puzzle. "The fireside sessions" are both those albums together, all acoustic, featuring the songwriters from both those records. This time in my career ends with both album covers together with me and my dad standing next to each other. It's the first time I've ever been able to see a picture of us as two grown men. I'm moving on to another album early next year, but I hope y'all love these versions of the songs, as they were written.
