🇮🇳🛢️ ANOTHER Oil Refinery on Fire. Is Someone Doing... This on Purpose? Since February 28, the same day Israel and the U.S. started the war on Iran and triggered a global energy crisis: - Ecuador's largest refinery caught fire for the THIRD time in nine months - Australia's Viva Energy Geelong exploded, threatening 10% of the country's fuel supply - Russia's Nizhnekamskneftekhim plant exploded, killing 3 and injuring 70 - India's ONGC Mumbai High offshore platform caught fire, injuring 10 workers - Valero's Port Arthur, Texas refinery dumped 157,000 pounds of chemicals into the air over 10 days - India's Rajasthan refinery erupted in flames today, hours before the Prime Minister was set to inaugurate it No missiles. No drones. Just "accidents" across four continents as the world scrambled to replace Middle East supply. These could be COVERT attacks designed to pressure global energy markets and force countries that REFUSED to join the war on Iran back to the table. If the cost of everything keeps rising, governments will have no choice. The real winners are clear: - The U.S. selling record amounts of oil and gas - Israel getting more countries to share the military burden Coincidence is one thing. Six refineries across four continents in 45 days is a PATTERN.show more

Otedola Bridge is trending because a tomato truck almost... cru/shed an entire family of 4, forcing Lagosians to call for the bridge’s deliverance. Eyewitnesses described it as thus; The truck failed brake, veered off its lane, hit the Highlander at full speed, pushing it to hit the Venza, sending it airborne. The impact stopped the truck, but squeezed the two vehicles into the barricade. Luckily, all passengers in the car came out unscathed. The bridge has become notorious for freak accidents, from container tipping to tanker exploding to brake failures. Last year a gas tanker exploded after it fell while trying to make a sharp turn on the bridge, lives were lost, properties were destroyed in millions, but the fire mysteriously skipped one RCCG church on the street. About 8 months ago, a family of three was klled when an Audi collided with a truck. In June 2018, one of the deadliest accidents happened on the bridge. A tanker exploded, killing atleast 12 people, destroying properties in millions and scores of vehicles. Just two days before Christmas last month, a loaded tanker lost control and crashed into four vehicles, badly damaging them and leaving two persons critically injured. Same December, a heavy duty container truck flipped and collided with another truck. Luckily it happened at night when the road usage was at its lowest. This story will be updated. 🚨 MASSIVE ASTEROID ALERT 🚨 😱 5 ASTEROIDS TO... STRIKE EARTH ON JANUARY 4! ⚠️On January 4, something unusual appeared on NASA’s tracking systems. Not one. Not two. But five separate space objects entered Earth’s monitored region of space — all on the same day. 🛰️ WHAT WAS DETECTED NASA’s Near-Earth Object monitoring network identified five asteroids moving at extreme speeds, each following its own calculated path around our planet. • Classified as Near-Earth Asteroids (NEAs) • Traveling at tens of thousands of km/h • Detected days in advance • Tracked continuously as they approached and passed. Their distances varied, but all were close enough to activate automatic observation protocols. 🔭 WHY THIS STOOD OUT Asteroids pass Earth often — but multiple objects on the same date always draw attention. Every trajectory was recalculated. Every data point rechecked. Ground-based telescopes and automated systems stayed locked in. No public countdown. No dramatic warning. Just silent monitoring. 🌑 WHAT THE SYSTEMS SAW • Stable orbits • No sudden course changes • No fragmentation • No interaction with Earth’s atmosphere. One by one, the objects passed Earth’s vicinity and moved back into deep space. 🌍 THE RESULT No impact. No damage. No visible sign in the sky. To most people, January 4 felt completely normal. But above our heads, space traffic moved quietly — and was watched closely. 🛰️ THE BIGGER PICTURE Earth travels through a solar system filled with ancient debris left over from planet formation. Most objects remain distant. Some pass close. A few demand attention. This was one of those moments. The universe didn’t slow down. Earth didn’t notice. NASA kept watching. 🌌 Five asteroids came and went. The planet remained untouched. And space moved on. #Asteroids #NASA #SpaceUpdate #NearEarthObjects #CosmicWatch #Astronomy #Universeshow more

Timeline: 12/23/23: MMTLP open letter is signed and sent... to FINRA and the SEC (Deadline for response: 1/31/24). FINRA responded by the deadline; SEC responded 6 days late. 2/2/24: Dennis Kneale interviews Ralph Norman and asks about (MMTLP open letter response) subpoenas and hearings. (On subpoenas) Norman: "That has to come from a chair of a committee, James Comer is chair of oversight. He signed our letter." (On hearings) Norman: "Yes, and we're going to lead the way on that because at the HFSC, that's our job!" 7/10/24: No subpoenas, no hearing (even thought Norman says "We've had hearings on this." (In his interview with Dan Ball) "It's in the SEC's hands." As if to hang his hat on the charges against the former CEOs which still to this day haven't be ruled on or dropped and it seemed as if Norman was wiping his hands clean of getting us answers. 5/26/25: 479 days since his interview with Dennis Kneale, Charles V Payne had Norman on his show again and asks for an update. More lip service from Congressman Norman. Still no hearings, still no subpoenas. ?/??/25: James Comer says on TV, "In order for a subpoena to be honored in a court ruling, you have to make every sincere effort to invite people to come, then you follow up with a subpoena." COMER SIGNED THE LETTER! Why hasn't he taken the initiative here? Still waiting... still tumbleweeds and crickets, even with evidence of collusion between regulators and industry members before, during and after the halt being completely made public. 👻 The word egregious doesn't even come close to describing how unconstitutional the lack of transparency and justice we have received so far has been. First time doing the incline barbell press in easily... over 10 years. My right shoulder is finally in a position where I can begin rebuilding this movement pattern after years of meticulous work breaking up scar tissue and restoring function. Right now, the weight means NOTHING. I’m staying extremely light, focusing on slow, controlled, pain-free and grinding-free reps, and increasing by as little as 2.5 to 5 pounds per set. The goal is simply to make progress each week, strengthen areas that have atrophied, improve stability, and continue teaching my shoulder how to move correctly again. The incline barbell press is a tremendous movement when performed correctly. It can expose weaknesses and deficiencies in the shoulder, while giving you an opportunity to progressively strengthen the areas responsible for stability and control. For those who have followed my journey over the last 10 years, I was told I needed a five-disc fusion and a right shoulder replacement. I refused to accept that as my only path. After 21 stem cell procedures, years of scar tissue work, rehabilitation, and intelligent strength training, my back is 100%, and my shoulder continues to make progress. And to clear up the false information being spread: I have never said I am returning to the ring. When I say THE ENGINE IS STILL ON, I’m talking about LIFE. My health. My training. My business. My relationships. My purpose. Becoming better in every meaningful area of my life. Not everything is a professional wrestling reference, as difficult as that apparently is for some people to understand. Life is far bigger than professional wrestling will ever be. The engine is still on because I refuse to give up. And that’s the last bite. FEED ME MORE!show more

This Meta Ad Spy system is absolutely insane 🤯... It scrapes your competitors' video ads from the Facebook Ad Library... And runs AI analysis on each one automatically. All organized in Airtable. Perfect for e-comm brands & agencies who need competitor creative intel at scale. Here's the problem: You're manually clicking through the Ad Library. Watching competitor videos one by one. Trying to figure out what hooks they're testing. Taking notes you'll never look at again. By the time you analyze 10 ads, your whole morning is gone. This system does it in minutes: → Add any competitor's Facebook page URL to Airtable → Select your lookback window (7 days, 30 days, all time) → System scrapes all their video ads via Apify → Thumbnails, ad text, and video URLs land in Airtable → Click "Analyze" on any ad → Gemini watches and breaks it down What the AI pulls from each video: - Hook excerpt (what grabbed attention) - Visual notes (what's happening on screen) - Primary message and target audience - Creative approach and key elements - CTA and emotional tone No manual watching. No note-taking. No spreadsheet chaos. Built with n8n + Airtable + Gemini. I recorded a full walkthrough showing you how to set this up step-by-step. Me and my Dad spent all day yesterday on... the 3.0D SE X5. 2x Injectors changed, one of which was truly knackered due to (I think) water ingress. Turns out the Swirl flaps had already been deleted which is nice, new gaskets on the injectors and inlet manifold too. Tried to start it as we lost light and the battery was dead 😂 Left it on charge all night, tried this morning before I left for London and it just wouldn’t start. Presumed it was air in the fuel system needing bleeding out but didn’t have time. Got home this afternoon and to say that a decent diagnostic machine pays for itself over and over again is an understatement (Kingbolen K10PRO FYI) Actuated the fuel pump for 5 minutes, then cranked the car for about 20 second where it sparked into life. The Diagnostic machine then wanted me to purge the fuel system for 10 minutes at 2,000RPM which I let it do. Turned the car off and on again and it has ran perfectly, put heating, A/C, heated seats and as much load as I could - still stayed running. It basically hasn’t done that now for a month. Took it up and down the road, got up to national speed limit, all seems fine 😳 Still have a few things do sort to get it through its MOT which is mainly bulbs and a faulty fog light - what should be fairly straight forward things 🤞 then just a cosmetic touch up 🖌️show more

We all remember. We all remember when blockchain was... pitched as the next big thing. And today, we feel like we’ve been waiting and waiting. Until recently, Blockchain was too expensive, slow under load, and hard to integrate for most businesses. So enterprises ignored it. It didn’t solve their business problems. That’s changed. Why blockchain, why now? Businesses don’t care about the tech, they care about cost and performance. They’d ask a simple question “Does it save or make me more money?” For a long time, blockchain didn’t clearly do this. That’s no longer true. Blockchain is proving real business cases, especially on Avalanche. On Avalanche, transactions cost fractions of a cent. settle in about a second. And instead of forcing everything onto one shared chain, businesses can launch their own Avalanche L1s with their own rules. To understand this let’s identify the problem and then provide the solution in a way that's easy to understand. Where Businesses Lose Money Most large industries lose money due to operational inefficiencies. Data lives in different systems. Teams spend hours reconciling records that should already match. Intermediaries sit in the middle, taking fees to coordinate all of it. Individually, each step looks small. Together, they create real cost: > Labor spent on manual processes > Capital locked up during settlement delays > Fees paid to intermediaries > Risk introduced by time gaps and mismatched data This is where businesses actually lose money. Not in big, obvious ways. In constant, compounding friction. Take Private Credit, for Example Private credit is loans held outside of traditional banks. It’s a multi-trillion dollar market, and much of it still runs on spreadsheets and weekly reconciliation processes. Loan data is tracked across systems. Teams manually process requests. Funds move on traditional rails, often on delayed cycles. It doesn’t have to be this way Entire teams exist just to keep systems in sync. Now move that system onto Avalanche. Loan data updates in real time. Transactions settle in about a second. Every participant sees the same state instantly. Reconciliation isn’t a separate step because the system itself is the source of truth. The impact is straightforward. > Reduced manual work > Shortened settlement cycles > Fewer layers of coordination between parties Avalanche is Infrastructure for Real Businesses Avalanche is designed to match how businesses actually operate. Instead of sharing a single chain, they can launch their own Avalanche L1s with custom rules, built-in compliance, and predictable performance. They control the system. Avalanche’s Moment For the longest time, blockchain naysayers said this could all be done better with spreadsheets or existing systems. They were right. That’s what the technology allowed. Now it’s changed. Avalanche can replace many of those systems with real-time settlement, shared data, and automated execution. For the first time, the economics work. Built for business. 🔺show more

OFFICIAL: EASTER EGG GUIDE FOR TOTENREICH: Wonder Weapon: 1.... Head to The Drydocks and lower The Crane, this will allow you to wall jump and interact with the tip of the ship to pick up the Chain Link 2. Next, Head to Storm Bridge and pick up Chili Chunks behind the truck next to Deadshot 3. Place Chili Chunks on the table in the middle of the Skalen Market 4. Next, Head to Burial Grounds left-side door and interact with the keyhole. 5. Interact with the door again and hold it to open the door and to unlock the underground area. 6. This will spawn a Zursa Bear during a special round (starting the second special round) you need to kill him and he will drop The Lantern 7. Place The Lantern in the center of the Underground Room in Burial Grounds. 8. Constellations will appear around the wall. Interact with them as they’re shown on the table in this order: left, right, back, front. 9. Once completed, Astrid will appear and talk, she will then travel to different areas of the map. She will occasionally stop and you will need to kill frost zombies next to her. 10. Once all the Soulboxes are completed an Obstacle Course will form on the outside of The Lighthouse, climb to the top by Jumping / Wall Jumping up 11. Once you reach the top, Listen to the Astrid talk and pick up The Jotunn Star Wundersignal: 1. After completing Jotun Star Quest Head to The Lighthouse and inside on a shelf there will be a Crowbar 2. There are Multiple Wooden Boxes around the map with red IDs on the bottom right corner of the front of the box in red (for example III-6) use The Crowbar on the Wooden Box that has the Roboterteile ID (the IDs are on the shipping manifest in the War Factory Admin Room), this will give Flak Gun Round War Factory Core Foundry Fjord Road Dry Dock 3. Next, Head to The Robot Head in spawn and interact with it to search broken piece to get The Transmitter 5. Go to Tyr’s Head and place it inside the Wall Machine thingy at the top of the Ladder 6. Next, whilst inside of Tyr’s Head underneath the balcony there are 3 white lights, 2 of these lights will blink, count how many times it blinks -Both lights will remain on, There is the sound of a light turning on to indicate the start of a new light flashing cycle where both lights will flash at the same time to a certain count (for example left 2, right 5). Both lights will be on and then it will flash another set (for example left 6, right 4). (Unsure if these 2 combos have to be put into console in order but correct entry will give two different voicelines.) After entering one correctly you will be kicked out to hear voiceline and can re-enter console to input the 2nd shortly afterwards. 7. Now head to Core Foundry, and use a molotov to burn the ascender to access the consoles. 8. Ascend and interact with the consoles, The next part is timed and has a cooldown if you fail - you need to Calibrate the Amplitude and Frequency using the flashing light code. 9. Once this has been done head to the room Next to the Radio Tower and pick up The Wunderbarrage Controller Atomkraft Core 1. Find three uraniums: Uranium #1 Find the Fishing Rod (Olaf’s Personal Item) locations: - Dry Dock - Storm Bridge - Fishery Island - Beacon island Look for a Glowing Green Fish jumping around the water at each Fishing Location and use the Fishing Rod at that location once you see it Fishing Locations: Eidskallen Landing x2 Beacon Island x2 Eidskallen Square x2 Dry Dock (found one so far) Fishery Island x2 Tyr’s Foot (found one so far) Once the fish is caught it will spawn an Irradiated Ravager (HVT) that will disappear and respawn somewhere else, chase it down and kill it (check your map to see its location, it shows up as an HVT). It will drop a Uranium. Uranium #2 Next, Craft an ARC-XD (there is one for free in Eidskallen Square on top of a box near the flame trap, you can get it by fishing as well) and melee the vent at Core Foundry to the left of the zipline to open the Secret ARC-XD Course. Blow up the boat full of barrels. Once the course is completed the 935 Genetic Lab room will be open and another Uranium x2 will be inside a Prison Cell There are several Jars with Heads inside in this room, all labelled A,B,C,D,E Look down the Hallway inside the Lab and note which numbered rooms have Nuclear Symbols 1 = A, 2 = B, 3 = C, 4 = D and 5 = E Take one Jar at a time that corresponds with the Numbers next to Nuclear Symbols and place them on the machine to the right of the cell door, once the correct jars are placed the Jar on the left side of the machine will glow purple and you can pick up acid There is a Big Chunk of Meat on a desk next to multiple drawings in the same Room, interact with it, then Pick up The Necrospike Once you have The Necrospike, use it on the Prison Cell Door, this will trigger a lockpick mini game. Spin the lockpick until the lock turns white 3x to unlock the cell, then pick up the second Uranium. Uranium #3 Next you need to craft or obtain the Glocke Drop, once you have one call it in, then shoot 20 mid-air zombies it throws up. This will drop the third and final Uranium. 2. At the Dry Dock, you need to call a WunderBarrage (unlocked by completing Wundersignal steps) in on the “02 Building” at Dry Dock (where there’s debris on the stairs), this will open the stairs to the Machine Workshop. 3. Inside The Workshop there is a Claw Machine which you can place all of The Uranium inside of and play a mini-game. -Have a big group of 7 cores and a small group of 2 cores. 4. Once you complete the Mini-game you will be able to pick up The Atomkraft Core (Note: you drop if you zipline, and cant sprint with it) 5. Head to Quick Revive and place The Atomkraft Core on generator next to quick revive. Go into the shed behind quick revive and turn on the generator. You must now defend the The Atomkraft Core until it’s charged. In interrupted you must turn on the generator again to continue. 6. Take the The Atomkraft Core to the barrel on the Storm Bridge and a Mini-Cutscene will play between the Giant and The Robot. Vegvisir 1. After the cutscene finishes, The Dravakar Shard will spawn at Tyr’s Foot, pick it up 2. Pick it up and place the Shard inside the Bloodheim Hall on the bonfire 3. Use WW range attack to light the fire 4. Use Disciple Injection (there should be a free one around the map) and throw zombies into the bonfire (I only had to throw four) 5. A lockdown will start. Kill the boss zombie and pick up the Sunstone from the bonfire 6. Put the Sunstone in the church and do a range WW attack on it. 7. Around the map, there will now be floating rocks and runes. Above the church there will now be a compass with runes and arrows. -Shoot the floating rune rocks with the ranged WW in the order of the arrow lines. If an arrow has 1 line, then that's the first one. If an arrow has 2 lines, that's the second one, etc. 8. Go into Tyr's Head and interact with the console to start the boss fight. Polymarket introduced fees 3% to crush automated trading. A... week ago in a Discord with developers we spent an hour doing the math: is it even possible to squeeze $250 a day on 15-minute markets with the new fees? The consensus: margin is dead. One developer didn't let that stop him from quietly making $98K a week. He automated the full pipeline: data parsing, entry calculation, trade execution. While everyone was counting fees, he was collecting money. Second place on the Polymarket leaderboard. I stared at his chart and couldn't figure it out: either I'm missing something, or the entire Discord was wrong. I found him by accident. Scrolling through top wallets and stumbled on numbers that didn't compute. $313 to start. Now $912K. Two months. I recalculated three times: $12-24K per day, and these aren't peak days, this is every day. The profit curve looks like someone drew it with a ruler. Not a single serious drawdown. Not one. For three weeks I watched this wallet. Entry timing. Position sizes. Which markets. What time of day. Looking for what separates him from hundreds of other automated traders. Then I noticed a pattern that made me uncomfortable. There's a 30-second window. Thirty seconds where Polymarket and reality don't match. BTC moves on Binance. The price already changed. But Polymarket odds are still frozen. Old numbers. Outdated prices. The world already shifted, but the prediction market is still asleep. Imagine an auction. You're standing in the room and hear the hammer drop. The lot sold for $50,000. But the other bidders are sitting in the next room watching a delayed broadcast. For them the bidding is still going. They're still raising their paddles trying to outbid. You know the lot already sold. They don't. This wallet is the one standing in the room. Every 15 minutes. Entry while odds are frozen. Wait. Window closes. Pays 30 cents, takes a dollar. No manual intervention. The developer automated the entire process and now just watches. The system only enters after a confirmed impulse on Binance and Coinbase, when Polymarket hasn't caught up to reality yet. The mechanics are laughably simple: Calculates fair value based on the last 10 trades. Price above FV, accumulate YES. Below, accumulate NO. No magic. Just basic math that takes money from people trading on emotions. And here's what got me. When Polymarket introduced fees, everyone wrote: end of automation. Now it'll be a fair game. Know what actually happened? Small players died. The ones with thin margins. The ones who couldn't afford to pay fees on every trade. And this titan? He just knocked off competitors. Less competition in the queue, more liquidity for him. Fees? Just a cost of doing business. At $98K a week it's a rounding error. Polymarket thought they were crushing freeloaders. In reality they cleared the field for one predator. $889K profit. Largest single win $28K. 723 thousand profile views. Profit curve goes straight up without a single serious drop. A human without automation can't even come close to this result. We blink. Think. Hesitate. While your finger reaches for the mouse, his system already closed the position. A week ago I decided to test it. Not analyze. Not build theories. Just copy. He entered a position, I followed. BTC market, 15-minute window. Nothing complicated. I didn't even understand what was happening, just copied. Four hours later I closed. +$247. It didn't change my life. But it changed how I see money working on this market. I spent three years drawing lines in TradingView. Reading analysis. Watching streams. $247 in 4 hours copying someone else's trade blindly. Know what I felt? Not joy. Anger. At myself. For all those years trying to be smarter than the market instead of just standing behind someone who already is. Here he is: Most traders try to predict the future. This one just watches the present arrive 30 seconds early. Right now somewhere BTC is moving on Binance. Polymarket is still asleep. You have 30 seconds. Will you be the one selling to him at old prices? Or the one standing beside him?show more

A 17-year-old student spent $4,200 on 7 Mac minis.... Small silver boxes. Stacked on a desk. Connected in one room. From the outside, it looked like a stupid purchase. But inside, it wasn't just 7 computers. It was Skills. Hooks. Memory. Worktrees. One machine handled repeatable tasks. One ran checks automatically. One kept context between sessions. Others ran parallel jobs without touching each other's work. While most people were still typing the same instructions again and again, his setup was already moving. A lot of people pay $200 a month for Claude and still use maybe 20% of it. He built a system around it. Skills turned repeated work into reusable workflows. Hooks made actions fire automatically. Memory stopped every session from starting at zero. Worktrees let multiple tasks run at the same time without collisions. That changed everything. Setup time: under 1 hour once. Time returned: 3 to 5 hours every day. He spent $4,200 once. He made $16,000 in the first week. Not because he found a secret tool. Not because he wrote magical prompts. Because he stopped using it like a chatbot and started using it like infrastructure. 7 Mac minis. 1 student. $4,200 in. $16,000 out. And most people would still call it just a stack of computers.show more

May this young man's Soul Rest in Peace. The... carnage continues due to unprecedented levels of greed, dereliction of duty, and lack of accountability. The funds are actually there and have been provided over the past decade. The Ministry of Finance Ministry of Finance has released about UGX 100 Billion since 2019 for a Department of Government whose main responsibility and objective should be prevention of road crashes. These funds have been spent on activities with very minimal impact on road safety. This information has been shared with IGG, Office of the Auditor General Uganda, Criminal Investigations Directorate-UPF. How do you explained the death of a young man in a fatal road crash that caused the incineration of the vehicle which he was driving? He must have been driving in one of the best motor vehicles in this country given the wealth of his family. He was driving a motor vehicle which probably had good safety features on a smooth road without pot holes. It is easy to draw conclusions like he was speeding, he was fatigued, he lost control of his motor vehicle, he made errors, e.t.c. Whereas all that may be true, did he deserve to die in such a gruesome way for those errors in judgement? The answer is a BIG NO. The truth is government failed him in so many ways. At the center of modern day road safety management is recognition that errors made by road users (drivers, motorcyclists, cyclist and pedestrians) MUST NOT lead to their demise. Here is a situation he found himself in: Concrete Barriers on a road that encourages high speed. Who has the onus to remove this hazard? Government. I could have perished in the same circumstances a few years back before the completion of the KEE on the way to the Airport. It was a rainy early morning at about 5:00am and I drove through barriers which were made of plastic. So why were these not made of plastic? Was there a provision for lighting on that section? If not, it should have been there. This is what we mean when we say roads should be forgiving. Apart from their design, road sides are the major reference here. The road should have forgiven him for this error if it had plastic reflective barriers. These kind of barriers would have caught his attention and he would have stopped his car instead of killing him. Were the traffic lights functional? Why was there no hazard signage or warning of any sort since there were barriers in middle of the road? This section of the road is built as an expressway and as such encourages speeding especially at any time beyond midnight. There are no traffic calming measures in place yet it is freely used by pedestrians and Boda-Bodaz like any other city road. Roads are supposed to be designed and constructed bearing in mind the activities that take place around them (Land Use). Interventions to control speed must be implemented if there is a high volume of different road users. They would have got his attention and he would not have died. A glaring example of contractors that do not care about road safety is on the section of Kampala-Masaka in the swampy section of Lwera. The Concrete Barriers are there and in places where they are not, there is nothing preventing a motor vehicle falling off into the swamp. Not even a rope. UNTIL THE DAY WHEN THE LEADERSHIP OF THIS COUNTRY ACCEPTS THAT ROAD CRASHES ARE PREVENTABLE AND PARLIAMENT STARTS DEMANDING ACCOUNTABILTY ON ROAD SAFETY, THIS CARNAGE WILL CONTINUE. ACCEPTING THERE IS A PROBLEM IS THE FIRST STEP TO SOLVING IT OR MANAGING IT. TOMORROW IT MIGHT BE ME OR YOU. Uber is Dead, my reflections on Waymo I’ve been... in San Francisco for just over a week, during which I’ve taken 7 rides with Waymo, a similar number with Uber, and a few with FSD Teslas. My journey to SFO via Uber was alarming—the driver veered out of the lane multiple times and nearly crashed on a ramp, seemingly vying for a one-star rating or to genuinely scare me. Conversely, my experiences with Waymo were virtually flawless, if you don’t consider overly cautious driving a fault. I experienced a minor hiccup when we got stuck behind parked cars because the vehicle thought they were queuing at a red light. It quickly resolved the confusion and moved on, which was rather amusing. Waymo, and other Level 5 autonomous vehicles, are poised to revolutionize the movement of people and goods. The most apt analogy I can think of is that Waymo is transforming the real world into an automated Amazon warehouse, with people as the goods and Waymo vehicles as the robots shuttling them around. With the advent of personal transportation becoming incredibly affordable, sending anything from point A to point B using a self-driving electric vehicle will soon be within easy reach. One of Waymo’s standout features is privacy. Riding in an Uber often means being subjected to the driver’s loud group chats on some app, making the journey neither quiet nor private. In contrast, Waymo offers a fully private experience, allowing you to have confidential phone conversations or chat freely with fellow passengers without distraction. Waymo also reimagines the concept of a car. Without the need for a driver, we can eliminate the front console, reduce weight, and remove the steering wheel. This opens up possibilities for passenger seats to be reoriented, perhaps facing backwards, or for the vehicle to become a mobile living room. Tomorrow’s vehicle designs will differ drastically from today’s. Destinations that are currently expensive and logistically complicated to reach via Taxi/Uber, often lying outside public transport routes, can be simplified to a single “Waymo” journey. This could shift the current model of “Uber + public transport + Uber” to a more streamlined experience. As more cars become self-driving, we could see a reduction in the amount of time cars are parked—from 99% of their lifetime to perhaps just 25%. This not only improves unit economics but could also decrease the number of cars on the road. This transition represents one of the most significant shifts for Generation X. In conclusion, the future is autonomous, electric, and efficient. Uber, as we know it, is dead.show more

Since my account is somewhat anonymous I’m going to... disclose where some of the California high-speed rail money gets wasted. 99% of you don’t realize where giant chunks of the money is disappearing to. The California high-speed rail authority, literally owns thousands of parcels of land that are in various stages continued litigation, tenant improvements, eviction, and constant maintenance. For example, there are many homes and apartment complexes in the plant path that have been purchased years ahead of construction. Removing those tenants is a slow and expensive process. (let’s ignore the extra stress on housing that all of these destroyed properties are causing) In some cases, these are low rent apartments with a lengthy eviction process During that process, the state of California is the landlord and has to maintain the property codes the same as any other landlord. This means repairs, adding smoke detectors, fixing roofs, vegetation management, landscaping, paying off tenants to leave early, boarding up Windows, constant trash cleanups, towing vehicles etc. But the High Speed Rail Authority doesn’t just have to maintain these properties at normal cost. Every single bit of that work has to be done at California prevailing wage rates. The work can only be done through qualified contractors that have passed through a long series of idiotic mazes to qualify to perform the work. An average rate per hour (charge rate) for a worker to perform any service on these properties is approximately $200 an hour for labor only. The cost go up for specialized work, like electricians, plumbers, or machine operators. Properties that are literally worthless are being maintained at huge expense just so the next round of homeless transients can break into the property and cause more damage. For reasons I can’t explain, the process to finally demo and remove the structures takes years. I’m only mentioning the tip of the iceberg regarding my firsthand knowledge. Completely separate from those outlandish costs are the inflation caused by the construction. The prevailing word on the street is that nothing is getting done. The truth is that a lot is getting done and none of it efficiently. The amount of concrete being poured daily and monthly to build gigantic overpasses for both the rail and roadways is not understood. In these work areas, every concrete mixing company is fully scheduled out and cannot offer building materials for other basic services such as building a house often times for weeks when the average lead time for many of these services used to be one day. And that’s just the schedule, never mind the huge cost increases from straining the supply chain and Labor pool. The amount of concrete and steel that has gone into the structures so far is massive. Dozens and dozens of new water wells have been dug just for dust control. Thousands upon thousands of acres of highly productive tree fruits and nuts have been torn up and shredded. Utility scale solar fields have been uprooted and sometimes relocated at extravagant costs. Every type of business you can imagine has gone through either a closure, relocation, or a long-term tenant agreement with the rail authority. In some cases, it’s just a buyout where the business closes its doors forever. The owners get something all of the workers get nothing. Don’t get me started on how thick the layers of bureaucracy are for these minute tasks that occur on all of these properties. The inefficiency is far beyond your wildest dreams. In many cases, this is not related to fraud in any way it’s just absolute ignorance, red tape, and failed leadership. I can go much deeper into specific examples, but I think that gives some of you an idea of what’s actually happening in California. If a rail is ever usable, some portions of the structures will be decades old and already in disrepair.show more

India is dying of thirst, but who cares? He... only cares about PM Cares. Let him not care; we will care. We will care for those who have to walk miles just to get a bucket full of water. We will care for the children who, instead of going to school, spend their days fetching water. We will care for every single citizen for whom water becomes the most precious commodity during the summer. We will care for our future generations. The little we can do is: 1) Stop wasting water in our daily routines. 2) Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth or shaving. 3) Use a bucket for bathing instead of running the shower. 4) Recycle the wastewater from your RO systems and AC units for cleaning or watering plants. 5) Reuse water from washing food (like vegetables, rice, or lentils) to water the plants at home or in your locality. 6) Carry a refillable bottle instead of buying single-use plastic mineral water bottles every time. 7) Finish the last drop if you do use a plastic water bottle, rather than taking one sip and throwing the rest away. 8) Adopt rainwater harvesting in your home or building as much as possible. 9) Take a pledge not to pollute water bodies, as millions of people depend on that water directly. 10) Start planting more trees to help restore groundwater levels. 11) Repost and share this with others and be part of the change.show more

Western Railway is undertaking a major safety-driven encroachment removal... operation at Garib Nagar, Bandra (East), today i.e 19th May 2026, after due legal process extending over several years. The following facts may kindly be noted: 1. The matter is not sudden or arbitrary. Proceedings under the Public Premises Act were initiated before 2017 and eviction orders were passed on 27.11.2017. 2. The issue has undergone extensive judicial scrutiny over nearly nine years, including proceedings before the Hon’ble Bombay High Court and Hon’ble Supreme Court. 3. The latest orders of the Hon’ble Bombay High Court dated 29.04.2026, subsequently upheld in further proceedings as well as before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, have permitted removal of unauthorized encroachments, while protecting identified eligible structures. 4. Western Railway is fully complying with judicial directions. Structures identified for protection through the joint survey process are not being disturbed. 5. The action is being undertaken primarily in the railway safety zone adjacent to active railway tracks, where unauthorized habitation poses serious risks to human life and train operations. 6. This railway area stretch is operationally critical for augmentation of rail capacity in Mumbai. Removal of encroachments is essential for railway safety, operational flexibility and future infrastructure expansion, including additional train services. 7. The proposed works are linked to enhancement of carrying capacity on one of the busiest rail corridors in the country and will facilitate introduction of additional long-distance train services for passengers across India. 8. Railway land cannot remain perpetually encroached, be it anywhere, and more so in safety-sensitive operational areas. At the same time, Railway administration is acting strictly within the framework of law and court directions. 9. The operation is being carried out jointly with civil administration, police authorities and railway security agencies to ensure maintenance of law and order and humane execution of the drive.show more

Our proposal to get Europe forward towards a Federation... is to start with the Benelux first, as a historic testing ground of European Integration, it should pick that role up again to prove that federal cooperation works, making it attractive for others to join. The idea is to create a Benelux Federation between Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, while keeping their own national identities, cultures and local politics. The federation would focus on the things where working together gives them more power and ambition: defence, trade and foreign relations, industry, energy, infrastructure and the internal market. Semiconductors: They already have ASML, imec, NXP and many strong suppliers. Now they should build the full chain around them, from research and design to manufacturing, packaging and testing. Make the Benelux Europe's semiconductor hub by pooling resources, similar to Japan's semiconductor manufacturing plan. Ports: Rotterdam and Antwerp-Bruges together handle around 695 million tonnes of cargo a year. Instead of competing separately, they should work as one Benelux port and logistics system, connecting ports, railways, waterways, pipelines and industry. High-speed rail: Build a new Benelux network designed for 400 km/h or faster, integrating all cities, and making federal travel seamless. Defence: They already train and operate together. The next step is to integrate procurement, logistics, intelligence, cyber defence, air defence and command. Buy more together, reduce duplication and build a stronger Benelux defence industry. Industry: Create a common industrial strategy and investment fund for semiconductors, AI, robotics, biotechnology, defence and advanced manufacturing. Make it easier and faster to build factories and scale companies across the Benelux. Federal government and simplification: Create a small federal government responsible only for the powers given to the federation, while keeping national governments and local politics intact. Make the Benelux the least bureaucratic country in the world by removing unnecessary rules, standardising where possible and making decisions fast. Give businesses clear rules, one digital system and simple permits, so that starting a company, building a factory or expanding across the Benelux is as easy as possible. Energy: Plan the electricity grid, standardised nuclear power buildout, offshore wind, hydrogen, solar and other major energy infrastructure together. A bigger connected energy system gives industry more security and makes the region more attractive for investment. Culture: Build a shared Benelux identity while keeping each country's own culture and traditions. Promote shared history, food, music, sport and heritage, while becoming known for combining European heritage with a modern and innovative future. Ambition: Make the Benelux a blueprint for the economy of the future, leading in robotisation, AI, advanced manufacturing, quantum technology, biotechnology, new materials and space. Invest heavily in research and turn new technologies into companies, industries and jobs. The federation should aim to build one of the most advanced economies in the world, from automated factories and next-generation infrastructure to European space infrastructure and a future Moon base. European scale: A Benelux Federation would still have limits because three countries cannot match the scale of the United States, China or the largest global markets. To become a true world leader, Europe would need to integrate further. The Benelux should therefore be the first blueprint showing that more European integration and democratisation can work at a federal level, creating a model that other European countries can join and build on over time. The point of the project is to prove a Federal Europe would work, not by words, but by tangible results. Once proven, our nations would have a reason to federate. Benelux pushed EU in integration before, it should do it again!show more
