Update on my foot: Diligent physical therapy and a... lifelong healthy diet/exercise routine has my body healing better than doctors expected. I can pretty much walk normally at the moment! Only a tiny bit of pain every step. There are still unknowns about the future: Will I ever get to run again? How long before the arthritis shows up? WHEN will I need more procedures done, not if. This is a lifelong injury. I’ll never recover to a pre accident place, but I’m progressing very well for the moment. I want to be able to play with my future kids at the park, but whether I’ll be able to even jog when playing tag is still an unknown.
