I gave it an image of a house and asked to create it in 3D with all the details including toys, appliances and furniture. An interesting issue with Robotaxi where it took us... to a Starbucks, but the Google data had the incorrect location. At drop off we were 0.2 miles from the Starbucks, so we had a short walk. Is there a way the Tesla AI team could add functionality in the app so riders can update map info to correct errors or inaccuracies on the underlying map data and then this propagates to the fleet? Being able to do this with a pin drop on the map instead of having to use an address might make this very easy and user friendly! Or, as a bigger ask, would it be possible for the car to be able to use visual images on its own to look for a Starbucks sign and on the fly, get us closer and update the map data on its own?show more

Smart contracts on Internet Computer can issue encryption keys... they cannot read A canister on DFINITY Foundation keeps its state in the clear on the replica, so node operators can read it even though the public cannot. vetKeys change that. A canister asks the subnet for a key, and a quorum of nodes derives and encrypts it under a transport key that the user generates fresh for that session. A single node cannot derive the key, and the user can verify it came out of the protocol correctly and wasn't tampered with. Neither the nodes nor the canister ever hold the raw key. The key is not stored anywhere. It gets rebuilt on demand from the same recipe every time. A user can sign in on a new phone but will get the same key back. Cryptography doesn't decide who can ask for a key. The app does, in its own code, and each key request costs the app a small fee. It has been live on mainnet since July 2025show more

I like my Laravel seeders fast. I use recycle()... to dodge N+1 model creations. Another trick: when a model needs an image saved on disk, generating a unique one for each record is painfully slow. And honestly, images aren’t immediately essential. So I dispatch that work to a job. My local projects always run Horizon, so images get generated in the background while I keep coding. A local environment you can reset instantly with random data is a game-changer.show more

I like to OWLMAXX with this simple dumbbell rotation exercise done on both sides of the head, the front of the head, and the back of the head as well. The aim of the game is to take the neck through extended ranges of motion in a controlled manner with added weight. Just last season in the AFC Championship Game, the... officials ruled this a live backwards pass in, as far as I can tell, identical circumstances to the ones being used to call this play an incomplete forward pass. Can someone explain the thing that differentiates the two plays? As I see it: 1. Throwing motion starts 2. Hit materially affects the throw (As the rule specifies) 3. Pass goes backwards. One called fumble (like we all know it should be). One called an incomplete forward pass. Anyone have an explanation of how they can coexist within the same set of rules?
