#WUTheSeriesEP7 lord he’s not crying, not breaking down, he’s... staring out into nothing, and that’s even worse. Basically living his life questioning whether he can be WU, the loneliness of being reminded that there’s a place where everyone else fits, and he’s told that he doesn’t. I feel like he’s not emotionless in the sense that he doesn’t feel shit, but in the way that he’s spent so long suppressing his feelings that they rarely make it to the surface. And that’s why it’s freaking exhausting to him cuz he keeps trying to hide it instead of letting all out like peteshow more

They say he’s arrogant. That he’s selfish, self-centered, detached.... But nothing about the way Taehyung moves through the world feels that way to me. What I see is someone deeply grounded. Someone who loves quietly, commits fully, and never demands to be seen; even when he’s earned it tenfold. He holds his people close, but never for show. He speaks with intention, or sometimes not at all; and somehow that says even more. Even in past years, he chose to renew his contract; not for himself, but for other people’s smiles. That same person you now try to paint as selfish. Honestly… I wish he was. I wish he had been selfish enough to put himself first. But the Taehyung I know -the one you refuse to see- is far from it. There’s a humility in him that most miss, because they’re too busy looking for performance, not presence. He doesn’t owe us anything. And still, he gives -warmth, music, art, sincerity- without needing applause. To be misunderstood for choosing boundaries over noise… That’s not arrogance. That’s integrity. #KimTaehyung #HumbleAndGrounded #YouDontKnowHimshow more

rewatching ep 4 for the nth time and I... think this is going to be one of those scenes that stays with me for a very long time😭it isn’t just Pete crying, he completely breaks down like full sobbing, barely holding himself together, curling into a ball of grief hiding himself in the blanket like years of pain finally poured out at once. When you think about everything we know about Pete, he’s just 24, yet he’s been emotionally exhausted for years. His gang is younger than him, meaning he can’t really share anything with them. His sister neglects him, and the way he talks about his relatives makes it obvious that his family life is filled with distance rather than care😔 It’s the first time Pete has ever talked about his past, not running from it but actually saying it out loud while someone quietly listens to him. Niran doesn’t interrupt Pete or try to comfort him. He looks composed the whole time, but I can feel his emotions through the silence, the sigh, the way he listens. He is simply lying there but it’s a safe space for Pete to unravel, which is why Pete later says that people feel at ease around Niran. It’s not cuz Niran is affectionate, it’s cuz he says things as they are and that helps Pete feel like he can be himself around him, even at his most broken moment. The scene before where he was furious with Pete, he’s not judging Pete’s life, he’s just giving him the hard truth. He doesn’t sugarcoat things, but he also doesn’t invalidate Pete’s pain. Instead, he’s trying to make Pete realize that his life has value, but he’s letting anger, recklessness and negative emotions get the best of him. And for someone like Pete, who spent most of his life feeling unwanted and unseen, this kind of brutal honesty is what he needs to turn over a new leaf🥹show more

Harry crashed a group of bereaved parents who are... suing tech giants over the deaths of their children as a result of online interactions-I’m not sure why he’s waving his arms around like that? But that oddity s all I can focus on. What are you doing, man? It’s sad to see him project his own issues and paranoia towards media onto parents who’ve endured the loss of children. I don’t know what he thinks he has in common with these parents but I assure you-he doesn’t. #HarryandMeghan #MeghanMarkle #HarryMountbattenWindsorshow more

The other time, they asked Bolaji, the ADC spokesperson,... about the ideology of the ADC. He said they were still thinking about it. Today, they asked him again, and he became confused and started picking a fight. Lol. Association for a wild goose chase. He came with a book on "loyalist", but how can readers be convinced there is substance in the book when the author can not even define the ideology of the party he was appointed to speak for? If the spokesperson doesn’t know the ideology of the party, then it points to one of two things: either the incompetence of the spokesperson or the visionlessness of the party.show more

So I have been trying to do my own... take on the 4-2-1-3. but it is not for my play style. Will try some more, later on. For now I ended up with a 5-2-1-2 that I like a lot. And it’s surprisingly good against the 4-2-1-3. Anyone wants to test? 🔥🏴☠️show more

🌙💔 It's 3 a.m. here in Gaza, and while... the world sleeps, the sound of airplanes fills the air with terror. I couldn't ignore the cries of a little puppy calling for help. 🐾❤️ I rushed to find this poor thing, alone and hungry, searching for his mother. Burscough football club would not like to only wish... Goodie a massive good luck but we would like to thank him for some great memories in the short amount of time he’s been here. Goodie has been recalled by Everton to go back into the Squads. In the time he’s been here, he’s been a massive personality and a great keeper. He will be hugely missed on and off the field. We will continue to support and watch as his career progresses as we know how far he can go. What a player, what a kid and thank you to Everton for your help. Go and smash it mate, some sad faces today as we lose you but that’s football. Goodness Gospel-Eze, THANKYOU 🙌🏻 🤝show more

David from speakers corner threw a flying kick after... the muslim who punched chris was being apprehended that’s not self defence that’s trying to cause damage. he also got him stuck in a chokehold for a period of time while there was no need for it nor was it proportionate to the situation as he was no immediate threat on the floor already. completely unnecessary for “trying to hold him down” you can hear his friends telling him to stop in the background in the 3rd clip. Christians won’t want you to see this. This individual was constantly insulting, using racist remarks and using provocative language all throughout while stinking like shit now whether that’s because he was drunk or that’s his natural smell is yet to be confirmed but from the sounds of it even christians are admitting he seemed drunk and smelled of alcohol.show more

This is such a brazen lie I had to... listen twice because I could hardly believe my ears the first time around. Firstly, the MOU is $3.3 billion/year. And yes, that’s a huge difference. That .3 is literally $300 million dollars. And no, that’s not all. Not by a long shot. In Fiscal Year 2022, the US sent Israel: • $3.3 billion in security assistance. PLUS • $1 billion in emergency Iron Dome funding. • $500 million in missile defense cooperation. • $47.5 million for anti-tunneling technology. • $25 million to combat drone terrorism. PLUS • $4 million for U.S.-Israel healthcare • $1 million for U.S.-Israel agriculture • $6 million for U.S.-Israel energy • $2 million for U.S.-Israel homeland security • $2 million for U.S.-Israel international development cooperation. AND • $50 million for the Nita M. Lowey Middle East Partnership for Peace Act to foster economic cooperation and people-to-people peacebuilding programs between Israelis, Palestinians, and Americans. • $6 million for the Middle East Regional Cooperation program to facilitate research collaboration between Israel and other countries in the region. • $5 million for refugee resettlement in Israel. And of course, this was all BEFORE the war broke out. We have sent them *tens of billions* since October 7. You know, it’s one thing for Ted Cruz to not know the population of Iran (which I still find inexcusable but whatever). It’s a completely different thing for him to have no damn clue how much of OUR money he’s sending to Israel. And the thing is, I don’t believe him. I think he’s lying. I think he’s 100% aware of how much money we’re sending, he probably knows about all the hidden expenditures too- and he purposely chose to lie about it because he knows how immensely unpopular it is. That tells you everything you need to know about him.show more

People (and not just punk leftists in Jubilee debates)... like to claim Michael Knowles is effeminate. But in my view he’s one of the most masculine figures currently in the conservative sphere because he literally never loses his cool. You will never see this man be overly emotional or swayed by his emotion. And that can’t be said for most people—man or woman—in the conservative sphere. Almost every other man I can think of becomes captive at least to the emotion of anger from time to time. I don’t know—remaining always calm, cool, and collected and not giving in to your emotions, even while other people blow their top or cry their tears or get otherwise flustered, seems pretty freakin masculine to me.show more

My 7-year-old son thinks it’s completely normal for me... to play chess with him while Tesla FSD drives us. But the more I think about this… it hit me. To him, Tesla FSD may not look like some amazing piece of technology... to him it’s just normal life. He never experienced a world where every second in a car required the driver to be fully focused on steering, braking, and navigating. For him, he sees a car that safely handles the driving while Dad spends that time talking with him, teaching him, laughing with him, or playing a game of chess. That’s a pretty big shift when you really think about it. Every generation grows up taking for granted things that once seemed impossible. The internet. Smartphones. Video calls. Now we’re watching the beginning of that same transition with autonomy. For many adults, FSD still feels futuristic. For kids growing up today, it’s become the way cars work. What’s fascinating is that the biggest change is what people do with the time it gives back. Instead of staring at the road for hours, families can spend more time together, learn, work, relax, or simply enjoy the ride. My son doesn’t see autonomy as a breakthrough, like me. He sees this as normal. And that’s how I know the future is here.show more

I totally get the sentiment that Cavan needs to... play more, given the situation (with his departure to Europe somewhat imminent). However, I don’t know that a game in Trinidad and Tobago, especially while already up by a comfortable margin, is the best situation for him to come on. You can’t control tackles like these, but it doesn’t feel like the best environment for him to stay healthy and continue to grow. #doop #MLS #USYMNT #USMNT 📹: CONCACAFshow more

I am not even a public servant, nobody pays their taxes to me, but they treat you like demma money dey your der! 😂 It's all part of the job. This Dividion 3 baseball player was given a tounge... lashing by his coach for not hustling out of the batter’s box and admiring his homerun. The coach yells at him to hustle because he doesn’t know if it’s going to be a home run and he needs to hustle. He tells him if he ever does that again, it will be his last at bat there. Some are saying the coach is being ridiculous, let the player have fun. Others are saying the coach was right on the money and that’s what is wrong with players today- too much showboating. What do you think? Do you think the coach overacted or do you think he was correct?show more
