Carotene is NOT your Retinol, diva👇🏻 While often conflated... especially in the new “Eat Your Skincare” TikTok trends that amass millions of views, beta-carotene (from carrots or sweet potatoes) is not equivalent to retinol (active vitamin A). Carotene is a provitamin A that requires enzymatic conversion to retinol: a process that is inefficient and easily impaired by hypothyroidism, stress or nutrient deficiencies. Excess carotene accumulates in tissues, interfere with the conversion of cholesterol to progesterone—your main beauty and youth protective hormone—(a process that requires adequate thyroid function and VITAMIN A) and antagonise thyroid function, much like unsaturated fats. This can lead to hormonal imbalances and impaired energy metabolism. In contrast, retinol is preformed and bioavailable in animal foods like liver, egg yolks and full fat dairy, directly supporting steroidogenesis, oxidative metabolism, skin integrity, hormonal balance, beauty and longevity. Therefore, while raw carrot (in the context of Peat’s carrot salad) has unique detoxifying benefits and you should eat one raw carrot a day for those benefits, relying on carotene-rich plants for vitamin A is metabolically wrong, inadequate and, in excess, potentially counterproductive and damaging. Hope this helps. Eat your retinol: from LIVER (~150gram a week), (raw) EGG YOLKS and FULL FAT DAIRY. Ok, love you, bye xxshow more

What?? Ohio's GOP Senate candidate Bernie Moreno just suggested... women over 50-years old shouldn’t care about reproductive issues like abortion because they are TOO OLD to get pregnant. What do YOU say to him? Here’s why his remarks are a HUGE lie: Republicans are not only planning to criminalize abortion in red states, but they want to ban certain forms of hormonal birth control. This type of contraception like the pill and IUDs, are the most effective and widely used treatment for hot flashes and symptoms for perimenopausal women. Contraception is healthcare that can treat some of the 34 symptoms associated with menopause and it is under attack. So these issues affect us ALL, no matter our age. Please blast this far and wide so EVERY American sees how important it is to VOTE!show more

Here are medically supported methods that can help. 1.... Practice the start–stop technique This is one of the most recommended methods for premature ejaculation control. How it works: - During sexual activity, stop stimulation when you feel close to ejaculation. - Wait about 20–30 seconds until the urge reduces. - Start again. Repeating this trains the body to delay ejaculation. 2. Try the squeeze technique When you feel very close to climax: - Gently squeeze the head of the penis for a few seconds. - This reduces arousal and delays ejaculation. This technique is commonly used in behavioral therapy for premature ejaculation. 3. Strengthen pelvic floor muscles Stronger pelvic muscles improve ejaculation control. The best exercise is Kegels. How to do it: - Tighten the muscles you use to stop urine. - Hold for 5 seconds, then relax. - Repeat 10–15 times, 3 times daily. 4. Slow down the pace Fast thrusting increases stimulation and leads to quicker ejaculation. Try a slower rhythm, short pauses, and changing positions to control arousal. 5. Focus more on foreplay Longer foreplay reduces pressure to perform quickly during penetration and improves satisfaction for both partners. 6. Reduce anxiety and stress Performance anxiety can cause early ejaculation. Relaxation techniques, deep breathing, and confidence building can improve sexual endurance. 7. Use condoms They may reduce sensitivity slightly, helping some men last longer. 8. Maintain good physical health Regular exercise improves blood flow, stamina, and hormonal balance, which supports sexual performance and reduces the risk of erectile dysfunction. Helpful habits: regular workouts, good sleep, limiting alcohol, and avoiding smoking. Lasting longer during sex usually improves with practice, pelvic muscle strengthening, and better arousal control. Hope you learnt something new? Please share for others to learn.show more

Let’s talk about light therapy, melasma, and how hormones... play a role. ✨ I’m using the Nanoleaf LED Light Therapy Mask 🟩 Green light therapy is gentle, calming, and works near the surface of your skin. It can: • Soothe redness and inflammation • Help reduce dark spots and hyperpigmentation • Even out skin tone for a natural glow ❤️ Red light therapy is amazing for deeper repair, collagen, and cell rejuvenation, but if you have melasma, you’ll want to skip it. Here’s why ⬇️ Melasma causes dark patches that are easily triggered by heat, light, and hormonal changes. Red light can generate warmth and activate pigment cells, sometimes making melasma worse. And for women in perimenopause or menopause, shifting estrogen and progesterone levels can make skin even more reactive, which means pigmentation can flare up more easily. If you’re managing melasma, focus on gentle options like green or yellow light therapy, daily SPF, and a calm, consistent skincare routine. Your skin is evolving , treat it with patience, not punishment. 💚 And if you’re unsure, always do your own research. Talk to your dermatologist first. #melasma #greenlighttherapy #menopauseskin #skincaretips #skinhealth #hyperpigmentation #skincareeducationshow more

For now, I’m his wife. 🗣️: “I find it difficult to navigate this NFL lifestyle as a young athlete mom because of how many people are just looking for a payout. I didn’t grow up seeing my family get taken advantage of. My biggest fear in life is letting the wrong people into my son’s inner circle and losing everything I’ve worked for. I genuinely wish more athletes had someone in their corner keeping it 100% real with them. It would help so many young guys protect their future from the women of nowadays. Beauty should be a core pursuit of biotechnology. There... should be companies and nonprofits that engineer organisms solely for the sake of crafting beautiful things. A few reasons why: 1/ Biotechnology has historically worked in reductionist ways, but many useful functions only emerge at the systems level. By engineering a systems-level outcome, like beauty, we will get much better at engineering organisms in predictable ways. When I say "reductionist," I mean that most useful things in biotechnology (drugs and tools) were discovered by stripping molecules from their natural contexts. Scientists collect organisms from soil or wherever and then study their molecules in isolation. This basic approach has yielded everything from rapamycin to antibiotics and CRISPR. This reductionism, though, means that that we know disturbingly little about how life actually works at a systems-level. My core argument is that, by studying beauty, we can remedy this. Beauty has persisted through tens of millions of years of evolution because it is functional; bright colors help attract pollinators to a plant, for example, which helps the plant breed. If evolution has created all of this beauty for functional reasons, then it stands to reason that by trying to create **new** forms of beauty, we'll be able to discover and understand how these systems-level functions work! Indeed, we may even be able to create entirely new functions that biology hasn't evolved yet. These functions will not possible to understand via isolated molecules or reductionism. Therefore, a company pursuing engineered beauty for the sake of beauty will probably make many fundamental discoveries about how organisms develop, interact, adapt to their surroundings, and so on. 2/ Beauty is a way to grow the field and bring more people into biotechnology. Nick Desnoyer’s flower design work, for example, has probably reached hundreds of thousands of people. The glowing plants from Light Bio, too, were featured in the mainstream press. You may not think that these examples are “important” for the universe relative to, say, an incrementally better cancer therapeutic, but there’s no question that they are way more popular to mainstream audiences and good, overall, for the field. 3/ The market is huge! Breeding is already widely used to engineer beauty, or at least to select for aesthetic preferences. Pugs are evolutionarily suboptimal, but they've been bred precisely to satisfy a certain aesthetic desire are now a multi-billion dollar industry. The Juliet Rose, developed via breeding over a 15-year period, debuted at the 2006 Chelsea Flower Show and is enormously profitable today. Why should deliberately engineered forms of beauty be any different? If you are building a biotech company or nonprofit that is pursuing beauty, please reach out! I’d love to help.show more

The best way to prevent the conflict in West... Papua from spreading further and reduce the loss of life for civilians in West Papua is to restore the political rights of the West Papuan people who have been manipulated by Indonesia, America, the Netherlands and the UN. Furthermore, supporting the West Papuan Nation to achieve independence is not a violation, but is a right that must be protected by all people in the world. Since the beginning of Indonesia's leadership in West Papua, many indigenous West Papuans have felt that their political rights have been ignored and manipulated. This is related to the colonization carried out by Indonesia over West Papua without the blessing of the indigenous West Papuan people. Efforts to declare West Papua's independence have been hampered by intervention from outside parties such as the United States, the Netherlands and the UN, which favor political and economic interests. Restoring the political rights of the West Papuan people should be done by giving them the freedom to determine their own destiny without interference from outside parties who have certain interests. This can be done through fair and transparent dialogue between the Indonesian government and representatives of the West Papuan people. Apart from that, support from the international community is also very necessary in efforts to push for West Papuan independence. Every country and individual in the world has a moral responsibility to defend human rights and truth. Support from various international institutions such as the UN can help strengthen the position of the West Papuan Nation in upholding their political rights. By restoring the political rights of the West Papuan people and supporting them to achieve independence, it is hoped that conflict in West Papua can be prevented and civilian casualties can be avoided. All parties must work together to respect the rights and dignity of the West Papuan people as part of efforts to create peace and justice in the region. Americans have terrible cultural constructs around aging. For instance,... I notice a trend amongst my friends entering their 30s & 40s where I'll invite them to do a fun, adventurous thing, and some will say things like, "Sounds amazing, but I feel too old for that kind of thing now." Huh? In Spain and Berlin, I saw mothers bringing their babies to bars and concerts to hang out with their adult friends. Meanwhile, the people I party the most with these days are a crew of dancers mostly over 50. "They must be societal dropouts or something" you might be thinking. But the opposite is true. One is CEO of a perfume company. Another is a doctor and professor at NYU. Another is a travel show host who just came with me to a 7am rave yesterday. The list continues: advertising executives, restaurant owners, etc. And most have kids. These people are still doing adulthood. They just haven't given up their vital spark. Things seem especially bad for older American women. There's this idea that you age out of being beautiful, that beauty is only for the young. This is bs. The older dancer women I'm talking about are still smokin', and I see them get hit on. Granted, there may be certain *kinds* of beauty that are for the young. But we generally under-appreciate how magnetic an older woman can be...if she's able to internally defy the American idea that older women are unattractive. In France, it seems like a lot of praise focuses on allure, charme, elegance, and idioms like "avoir du chien" – roughly, having a spark. None of those are indexed to youth the way "cute" or "hot" are in our culture. I gather that an aging French woman can move into a different type of attractiveness rather than just giving up on the erotic and romantic aspects of life altogether. I wonder what's wrong with us. Why do we believe that becoming older also means becoming boring and unattractive?show more

Across most of history, there are continuous reports of... weird ass aquatic beings appearing for a time and then vanishing again. These accounts show up in different cultures and eras, from fish like teachers in ancient stories to modern sightings of objects entering and leaving the ocean. One idea that has started to surface is some of these beings, if real, may not be constantly active at all. They may follow a cycle more like certain animals on Earth, appearing briefly and then disappearing for super long periods. In nature, there are species like the lungfish that can enter a state of deep dormancy called estivation, slowing their systems down and surviving for months or even years with almost no activity. If something similar exists, it could help explain why these reports come in waves. Instead of constant presence, these beings may operate in cycles of activity and deep rest, possibly tied to environmental conditions we do not fully understand. The ocean, especially at great depth, offers stable and hidden spaces where long term dormancy could occur without disturbance. This idea does not require advanced speculation on its own. It follows a pattern already seen in life on Earth, where survival often depends on timing, conservation of energy, and long periods of stillness between moments of movement.show more

Powwow dances are beautiful expressions of Indigenous spirituality, history... and culture. There are a variety of regional dance styles performed by men, women and children across North America. For all dancers, spiritual centre of a powwow is always the Circle — a revered area blessed by a spiritual leader. Dancers must only enter Circle from east, as they walk in direction of sun. In addition, powwow dances, drum music and singers and regalia are sacred elements of celebration, meant not only to entertain, but also to tell important stories about personal and cultural history. Term “powwow” derives from Pau Wau, meaning “medicine man” in Narrtick, a language spoken by Algonquian peoples in Massachusetts. English settlers began misusing word to refer to meetings of Indigenous medicine men and later to any kind of American Indian gathering. American Indians have since reclaimed term. Although powwows are said to originate with Plains Indigenous peoples, cross-cultural exchanges have produced various regional variations to powwow dances. Most well-known of Northern styles (originating from northern Great Lakes and Great Plains regions) include men’s and women’s Northern Traditional Dances. Most well-known Southern styles (originating from central and western areas of Oklahoma and southern Plains peoples, including Kiowa, Comanche, Pawnee, Ponca), include men’s Southern Straight Dance and women’s Southern Cloth Dance. Some dances, namely men’s and women’s Fancy Dances, women’s Jingle Dance and men’s Grass Dance, are less geographically specific in modern times because they have been adapted in different ways by both Northern and Southern communities. There are also dances that are specific to certain First Nations, or that commemorate certain events or elements of nature. For example, Chicken Dance (Northern Plains), Crow Hop (Crow of Montana) and Rabbit Dance (Sioux) are regional dances that originate from observations of nature and animals. Sneak-Up Dance (Plains) and Smoke Dance (Haudenosaunee) are warrior dances. Hoop Dance (Anishinaabe) incorporates anywhere from one to 30 hoops in a story-telling dance. There are many other types of regional and ceremonial dances performed by various First Nations at some powwows. Most powwow dances are performed by individuals. There are dances for couples as well, such as Owl Dance (Northern Plains). Friendship Dances or Round Dances (Anishinaabe/Northern Plains) are intertribal dances that are open to general public, allowing both Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples to celebrate together in song and dance. During Round Dance, all participants join hands and circle dance area, facing centre of circle. At times, Métis dancers (often performing the traditional jigging dance), Inuit dancers and dancers from Indigenous nations outside Canada and United States, such as Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, among others, are asked to perform at powwow celebrations. In this way, powwows can be a forum for cultural exchanges. Powwows can be defined as traditional or competitive. Traditional powwows are held in local communities, and do not have dance and drum group competitions. Competitive powwows have dance categories for women, men and children. Dancers who score the highest in their category receive awards or cash prizes. At contest powwows, dance categories can be gender- and age-specific. For example, jingle dress dance is typically performed by women, while Smoke Dance was historically performed by men. However, with resurgence of two-spirit traditions, and progression of women’s rights movements in 20th Century, some powwow organizers and First Nations allow dancers of opposite sex to participate in traditionally male or female specific dances. Most dances are also categorized by age: adult, teenager/youth and “tiny tot” (children). Panel of judges evaluating the competitive dances scores performers based on dance category as well as regalia and dancing abilities. #archaeohistoriesshow more

From VICTIM to VICTORY… My attention has been drawn... to the UNFORTUNATE CRITICISM directed at the woman in the video circulating on social media, who did not receive USD100 like other airport staff during my recent visit to VICTORIA FALLS. As I prepared to board my private jet back to Harare in the company of my BEAUTIFUL and beloved partner, I felt deeply moved by the airport staff who were on duty, sacrificing time with their families during Christmas time. Out of gratitude and compassion, I decided to bless the STAFF wearing green reflective vests with USD100 each as a small token of appreciation. Unfortunately, this kind gesture was MISUNDERSTOOD, and other non-staff members, including the woman in question, began to join in, leading to the regrettable incident. In the video, one of the women mistakenly received USD100 before I realized the group included non-airport employees. When I stopped giving out the money, the woman in the pink top and blue jeans was unfortunately left out, despite making frantic requests to also get the USD. This incident has REGRETTABLY subjected her to ONLINE RIDICULE and DEROGATORY comments. I personally don’t know this woman, but I wish to extend my HEARTFELT apology for the public embarrassment she has endured, as well as to her FAMILY AND HUSBAND, if she is married. I understand her actions. I would have done exactly the same thing if I saw a MILLIONAIRE giving money in that context. This woman simply decided to seize the OPPORTUNITY out of hope and necessity. To this woman, I want you to know that in life, what may seem like a moment of HUMILIATION can become a point of BREAKTHROUGH and certain trials often lead to triumphs and greater opportunities. As a small gesture of my goodwill and token of apology for the unfortunate incident, please URGENTLY contact my lawyer, Mr. SIKHUMBUZO MPOFU of Munangate & Associates and collect USD5000 cash for the reputational damage this incident has caused. I wish you and your family a PROSPEROUS 2025 !!!!show more

hair loss after 40 isn't sudden and it's almost... never random it's the result of a long, slow biological shift that most men don't see coming until it's already well underway and by the time they notice, they reach for the first product they find and wonder why nothing works here's what's actually happening: at the center of it is DHT, dihydrotestosterone, a potent androgen your body converts from testosterone via an enzyme called 5-alpha reductase DHT binds to receptors in your hair follicles, specifically in areas like the temples and crown, and slowly miniaturizes them it shortens the growth phase of each hair cycle and extends the resting phase over time your strands get thinner, weaker, and eventually the follicle goes dormant but dormant isn't dead that distinction matters more than most men realize the problem is DHT isn't working alone alongside the hormonal shift, your scalp environment is also deteriorating and this is the part almost nobody talks about chronic low-grade inflammation, fibrosis (the gradual stiffening of scalp tissue), and reduced microcirculation all compound the damage your follicles can't receive oxygen properly, can't absorb nutrients, can't respond to hormonal signals the way they used to so even follicles that aren't fully miniaturized start struggling to produce thick, pigmented hair which creates the illusion that the loss is worse or more permanent than it actually is then there's the cellular layer your dermal papilla cells, the structures at the base of each follicle that regulate hair growth, lose efficiency with age oxidative stress, reduced ATP production, slower cellular turnover it means even if you control DHT, the follicle still needs active stimulation to re-enter a real growth phase this is where most approaches break down they pick one variable, usually DHT and treat it in isolation but hair loss is a multi-variable problem hormonal, vascular, cellular, structural, all happening at once fix one and ignore the rest and you'll get limited results at best so what actually works mechanical stimulation is one of the most underrated tools available microneedling creates controlled micro-injury to the scalp, which triggers your body to upregulate growth factors like VEGF and activates something called the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, both of which are directly involved in initiating the growth phase and increasing follicular size it essentially wakes up follicles that have been suppressed but not destroyed it also increases blood flow and improves absorption of anything topical you apply afterward which brings up vascularization because hair follicles are some of the most metabolically active structures in the body they need a consistent supply of oxygen and nutrients to sustain growth anything that increases nitric oxide production, reduces calcification, and improves blood flow to the scalp will have an outsized impact on density and thickness over time internal support matters too, especially after 40 your body's ability to absorb and use key nutrients declines with age protein, iron, zinc, vitamin D, B vitamins, deficiencies in any of these directly affect keratin production, follicular cycling, and hair shaft integrity if you're not addressing what's happening internally, topical and external interventions will always hit a ceiling and then there's the timeline issue most men quit too early because they misunderstand how hair growth actually works each follicle cycles independently through growth, transition, and resting phases that span months you might see reduced shedding or improved thickness at 8–12 weeks but visible density changes take 4-6 months of consistent effort full results often take closer to 9-12 months the men who get results aren't doing something exotic they're doing the right things long enough and broadly enough to actually shift the biology that's the real unlock not a miracle ingredient, not a single device, a coordinated protocol that hits the hormonal, vascular, cellular, and structural levers at the same time most men fail not because they didn't try but because they tried one thing at a time, in fragments, for not long enough, and concluded that regrowth wasn't possible for them it usually is follicles that have been dormant for years can still be reactivated but only if the inhibitory signals are reduced and the growth environment is rebuilt that requires treating this like the biological process it is not a cosmetic problem you mask with a spray the men who approach it that way are the ones who don't just stop the progression they reverse it. and what makes that possible isn't just understanding the biology it's consistently applying a method that can actually influence it at the cellular level that's where low-level laser therapy comes in LLLT is one of the few clinically studied interventions shown to stimulate mitochondrial activity inside dermal papilla cells, increase ATP production, and improve blood flow to the scalp all of which directly support the transition of follicles back into the anagen phase devices like the Kiierr laser cap are built around this principle specific wavelengths of red light penetrate the scalp and activate these biological pathways in a way that's non-invasive and sustainable over long periods of use which matters because hair regrowth isn't about intensity it's about consistency tools that make consistency effortless will always outperform ones that rely on motivation or sporadic effort when you layer this kind of stimulation on top of DHT management, improved scalp health, and proper internal support, it stops being a single solution it becomes part of a system that actually aligns with how hair growth works and results from that kind of system compound over time instead of plateauing early like most surface-level treatments do the difference isn't whether you're over 40 it's whether you're finally addressing the problem at the level it was createdshow more

Facial reconstruction of a 3,750-year-old acromegalic Aryan smith from... Chelyabinsk He belonged to the proto-Indo-Iranian Sintashta culture, which traces its origins farther to the west in Europe. In the late 1970s, archaeologists discovered a fortified settlement of the Sintashta people in the Troitsk district of the Chelyabinsk region, which was named Chernorechye-III. A few years later, not far from it, researchers also identified the ancient cemetery of Krivoe Ozero, where its inhabitants may have been buried. In the third grave of barrow number ten, archaeologists found the skeleton of an adult who had been buried on his side with bent legs and arms, with the hands positioned close to the face. Alongside the skeleton, scientists found ceramic vessels, animal bones, metal objects and fragments of them, as well as pieces of ore and slag. Anthropologists determined that the skeleton belonged to an adult man approximately 164-167 cm tall, who died at an age of over 50. On his bones they identified signs that during his life he had performed heavy physical labor, with more strain on the arm muscles than on the legs. Together with the finds of ore, slag, and metal items, this suggests, according to the researchers, that the burial most likely belongs to an ancient metallurgist who worked in processing copper ore, forging bronze tools, and possibly frequently pumped air into furnaces using bellows. In addition, anthropologists noted this man’s atypical appearance, which differed significantly from the general Sintashta population. Apparently, he suffered from acromegaly - a pituitary disorder that leads to the enlargement and thickening of cranial bones. Moreover, the analysis of ore from this man’s grave showed the presence of material from gold-copper-porphyry deposits. The nearest such deposit with evidence of ancient mining is located in the Ural-Mugodzhary mining-metallurgical center - roughly 300-350 kilometers south of the cemetery. This likely indicates contacts between the Sintashta people and inhabitants of more southern regions. The paleoanthropological material from the site was described by G. V. Rykushina (Rykushina 2003), unfortunately only at the individual level. The author noted the presence of morphologically different skulls in the sample - Europoid (kurgan 1, burial 3; kurgan 10, burial 3; kurgan 10, burial 34), gracile Europoid (kurgan 9, burial 7), and a Europoid skull with equatorial features (kurgan 10, burial 6). Based on the study of pathological markers (such as mastoiditis, cranial infections, and diseases of the dental-jaw system), the author suggested that this group had immigrated from a different climatic zone (Rykushina 2003: 360). A particularly specific skull that should be noted is from kurgan 10, burial 3, which is characterized by overall maturization, dolichocrany, a high cranial vault, a large facial skeleton, and moderate horizontal profiling with a strongly projecting nose. One must agree with G. V. Rykushina’s observation of signs of hormonal disorders that led to the development of acromegaly (Rykushina 2003: 352). This likely caused changes in the size of the facial skeleton, primarily in height and width. However, even without considering these pathologies, this skull is quite distinctive. (E. P. Kitov, A. A. Khokhlov, P. S. Medvedeva 2018) The man had a medium-large cranial length of 182 mm, a medium-small cranial width of 135 mm, and a broad cheekbone width of around 145 mm.show more

🥚 Raw Eggs — They are nature's fast food,... and a complete food, with every nutrient you could need. A raw egg digests in only 27 to 37 minutes, which is phenomenal compared to other foods containing protein and fat, like meat and milk. This is because egg is a fully liquid food. The body doesn't need to use any digestive fluids, hydrochloric acid, to break it down, it will absorb within the first 5 inches of the intestine only, from bacterial digestion alone. Of course, if you cook the egg, this doesn't apply anymore. Cooking not only destroys nutrients, especially enzymes and vitamins, which impairs digestion, and generates toxins, like heterocyclic amines from proteins, and cauterizes the minerals, but it coagulates the egg. This not only makes a raw egg the perfect food to get instant energy in a healthful way, but a vital food that can save someone's life. If your digestive system is so compromised you cannot digest other animal protein, like meat, raw eggs will work. Or if you have leaky gut, they digest before they even have to go through the G.I. tract. In general, if you want to give your digestive system a rest, eat raw eggs, you will get back appetite for other foods very soon. In the next post of this thread is a quote of Aajonus' most incredible testimonial on the healing power of raw eggs. They are also the best food to repair. The only thing that Aajonus found that eggs cannot do is help the body reproduce cells quicker. That takes raw meat. So long-term, you cannot replace raw meat with raw eggs, they work complementarily. Don't discard the egg white. Aajonus proved the avidin in raw egg white is not an anti-nutrient. Aajonus ate up to 60 raw eggs a day (one or two dozens on most days) since 1976. He confirmed there was no biotin deficiency whatsoever. The narrow-minded lab experiments do not explain what actually happen and then draw the wrong conclusion. What actually happens is that biotin mixes with avidin to make a compound that cleans the body of biocarbons, which are leftover byproducts from macronutrient digestion that need to be eliminated by the body. This is actually a good thing. Plus, there is an excess of available biotin in raw egg compared to the amount of avidin. It is also recommended by Aajonus to not eat raw egg yolks alone either, as it creates imbalances when on a raw diet (this doesn't apply on a cooked diet). He did the experiments on animals, feeding them raw egg white and raw egg yolk separately, and it made them extremely hungry, they required twice as much food, had huge imbalances emotionally, caused obesity, water retention, all kinds of problems. So, if you go to a restaurant, you can request the egg white to be included in your steak tartare, just like Aajonus did. What about salmonella? Salmonella is already on our skin, in our eyes, our nose, our mouth, recycling dead cells. They are beneficial bacteria, not pathogenic. Of course, this isn't medical advice. Look into Aajonus and more broadly into terrain theory vs germ theory. Don't refrigerate eggs. Only in the USA do people do this. If you wash the egg, you remove the protective membrane around it, then health departments require them to be refrigerated. Just don't wash the eggs. Eggs are a bit of a fragile food, many of its natural bacteria die when in cold temperatures, so it's better to keep them at room temperatures, or they will lose digestibility. You can blend raw eggs, however it will oxidize them, destroying certain nutrients. There are three enzymes in the egg white which prevent certain hormones that help certain diseases progress like cancer. If you as little as whip the raw egg with a work, these enzymes in the egg white oxidize within seconds. Raw eggs are a detoxification food. They are rich in cholesterol. If you drink alcohol, eat plenty of raw eggs (before, during, after), and you will avoid a hangover. The cholesterol in raw eggs is very good at collecting the alcohol and other toxins. They also enable the body to make solvents to break down toxicity like cellulite. Raw eggs can be fermented, and aged in various ways. Century eggs, the real ones (which are around 25 years old), can cost a thousand dollars. They transform in all sorts of shapes, they can look like green boiled eggs, jewelry, eggs that could belong to a dragon, or turn into white, black powder. They can give incredible energy and libido. How to eat: If you eat the raw egg white first, then the yolk right after, the raw egg will digest in 27 minutes, otherwise in 37 minutes. It is easier to do so from the shell by poking a hole on each side and sucking from it. This is "Aajonus-style". From a glass is "Rocky-style". Nowadays also called slonking. Make the egg go through your teeth while you drink it, this makes it easier to mix it with saliva, which allows better digestion. That only works if you eat only one raw egg at a time. If you eat several raw eggs at once, they will digest slower. Not an issue, it is still extremely healthy. Therefore eating raw eggs frequently throughout the day, one at a time, can bring a steady flow of nutrients to your body. Eggs are perfect to eat upon waking up, providing quick energy from fats and providing protein for the body to make glycogen from and feed the nervous system. They are perfect to eat in-between meals. Only take a couple seconds and get you going for hours, and whenever you get tired. Eggs help gain and lose weight. It all depends how you combine them. A raw egg eaten alone can lead to weight loss, except if you eat more than around 22 a day to maintain. Aajonus' weight loss protocol relies on eating a raw egg diet for 1-3 weeks and is very effective. Raw eggs can help remove cellulite, strip down toxic fat (which is fat that was used to store toxins). Eggs eaten with other foods, or several at once, don't have this weight loss effect. They are very good to eat with other foods, such as raw meat (steak tartare). You can easily eat 3 raw eggs with your raw steak. There are many recipes, from raw pastries, to sauces like mayo, milkshakes, ... where you can keep the egg raw and whole.show more

Last night I had one of the worst panic... attacks I’ve had in years. Thats a part of suffering from depression and I wanted to share that mainly to explain what it feels like so others can benefit. 🏃♂️ It started after a run last night. I knew I was on the edge of exhaustion for weeks. The room started spinning, I wanted to puke and my heart felt like it was going to explode. I put it down to exercise at first but it was a full on panic attack 🛌 After leaving a cafe in a hurry I had to lay down. It took 3 hours to pass. During all of that time I thought I could die. It’s this extreme fear that is the panic attack. Even if you’ve had loads of them you still struggle to get through it. 🦷 During and after it my jaw tensed up. Today my muscles ache. I’ve been tired and irritable for weeks. There’s been a fog. Indecision creeps in. Self doubt. A feeling of worthlessness. Imposter syndrome. Extreme exhaustion. 😖Anxiety and depression is no joke. I write this so as others can hopefully see it and think “ah good I’m not the only one feeling this” Like so many people you could look at me and think everything is perfect. I spend my days with dogs, I get constant nice comments, I’ve loads of followers, I wrote a book and been on TV etc. Many of the things people dream of and I feel blessed to get to do what I do. But more importantly I’m not ashamed to say I’m the guy who had to run out on a Saturday night on a friend back to my bed to do deep breathing and manage a crippling panic attack. I’m the person who often has to look at their feet instead of making eye contact as the anxiety is eating me up inside. For anybody out there just remember there are sports stars, CEOs, Lawyers, Singers, Movie stars and people from every walk of life who suffer like this. There’s absolutely no shame in it. Your sister, son or elderly parent might be struggling and trying to hide it. I know mine has come from losing 4 dogs recently and the pressure on my shoulders. I won’t lie I did look at the bar with the football on last night and think “2 quick beers will fix this”. But then I thought of Billy, Cindy, Eve and all the other dogs who rely on me. Easy decision Look after yourselves and others who might suffer 🙏🥰show more

I think that fast strides are the most powerful... training stimulus for runners. For a glimpse at the physiology, I want to talk about my all-time favorite study. If we were playing FMK, I’d F this study, M this study, and K any study that is not this study. Published in 2018 in Physiological Reports, it had 20 trained athletes (14 men and 6 women) complete a 40-day intervention with 10 sessions involving 5-10 x 30 seconds with 3.5 minutes recovery, in conjunction with a 36% reduction in weekly volume. Before and after the intervention, participants did a time-to-exhaustion test, two 10km tests (one with glycogen depletion) preceded by 2 x 6 minute intervals at 60% of VO2 max, and a series of muscle biopsy and blood tests. Running economy during the 10k improved by 2.1% and during the intervals at 60% of VO2 max by 1.7%. In other words, the athletes improved at both hard efforts and easy ones. Meanwhile, there was no running economy change in the glycogen-depletion 10k, leading the authors to theorize that improvements were primarily related to changes in slow-twitch muscle fibers. Expression of protein dystrophin increased, which may enhance the ST-fiber structural integrity via the actin-myosin cross-bridge, improving running economy. In addition, the expression of UCP3 decreased, which may improve mitochondrial efficiency. In fast-twitch fibers, expression of the muscle protein SERCA1 decreased by 22%, which could reduce the energy turnover during exercise. Enzymatic activity and testosterone:cortisol ratio also went up. Don’t be discouraged, I only kinda know what a few of those words mean. The point is that as researchers introduce stride-like speed sessions and measure more variables, they often see major changes that may explain why Olympians are always doing strides. So when we use the term “running economy,” we’re actually incorporating dozens of these physiological variables, some of which we can measure and some of which we can’t, from the cells to the muscles to the circulatory and cardiovascular systems. Put it together, and getting faster is a wonderfully complex algorithm. Strides are one way to help solve it 💪show more
