Wanted to share a quick tip!! (you probably know... already but if you don't...) You can use toggle "show overlays" (the double circle in the header bar) to hide the wireframe. I usually work with a final viewport mode on the left side (in eevee), this really helps me develop form language without the distracting overlays. They told us the “hood” of Los Angeles was... too hard for the gospel. Well, watch this. Close to 30 students gave their lives to Jesus!! You can literally hear them praying out loud. Want to know why? Our generation is NOT too far gone, they are hungry for God! Romans 1:16 still stands: “The gospel is the power of God unto salvation.” History shows us that awakenings often begin with young people who desire something real. And right now, across California, students are responding to the presence of God in public schools, on street corners, and in places many wrote off years ago. The storyline of revival is unfolding before our eyes. Los Angeles belongs to Jesus. Watch for yourself…show more

Yusuf Dikec, a 51-year-old Turkish athlete, made headlines at... the Paris Olympics 2024 for his unique approach to shooting. Dikec competed in the 10m air pistol mixed team event, where he and his teammate Sevval Ilayda Tarhan secured a silver medal for Turkey. What caught the attention of many was Dikec's casual and gearless style during the competition. In contrast to his competitors who were equipped with specialized gear including goggles, lenses to prevent blur, and ear protectors for noise reduction, Dikec was seen competing with one hand in his pocket and minimal gear. This nonchalant approach not only won him the silver medal but also made him an internet sensation. Commenting on his viral fame, Dikec said, "I did not need special equipment. I'm a natural, a natural shooter." This statement not only reflects Dikec's confidence in his skills but also highlights his unconventional approach to shooting. His performance and style have captivated social media, making him a standout figure of the Paris Olympics 2024.show more

This deserves a thumbs up! 👍 But give me... a moment, my fine motor skills are still developing. As your little one grows, their physical (or “motor”) development happens on two interrelated planes: “Gross motor” development relates to the use of large muscle groups in the arms, legs and core used to balance, crawl, walk and jump (to name a few). And “fine motor” development describes the development of the small and precise muscle movements needed to manipulate your hands, wrists, fingers, feet, and toes. Both categories take time and practice to develop, with fine motor skills tending to trail gross motor skills in their refinement. Which makes sense. Fine motor skills are all about precision. Which leads us to this sweet little guy, who wants to celebrate by flashing a thumbs up to his mom and dad… but requires a little extra time and effort to get his thumbs to cooperate. Fine motor skills are critical to writing/drawing, the use of scissors, and the manipulation of things like buttons and zippers, just to name a few. You can help aid this development by providing lots of safe opportunities for your little one to practice strengthening the muscles of the hands and wrists, for example. Finger paint, crayons, play-doh, and eating utensils are all great options. Anything that will engage these small muscle groups. But even then, know that fine motor development takes a combination of practice and time. This happy little guy was shared to TT by chenko(dot)tattoo. Hey everyone! Before we play our first match, I’d... like to share a bit about our offseason. This is one of the most important times of the year for any team, and we made sure to make the most of it. We started tryouts with only 8 days of rest after the previous season ended. We didn’t waste a second. We wanted to be ready, and to do so, we tested between 30 and 35 players, becoming the team that conducted the most tryouts. We gave opportunities to everyone: players with previous experience, those without, T2 players, ranked grinders… If we saw potential, we opened the doors. Our goal was clear from the start: find young grinders hungry to compete and eager to learn. We were looking for talent we could develop and take to the top here at GIANTX. This reflects our philosophy: not just signing stars but building them, betting on the future, and nurturing young talent. I also want to give a massive shoutout to GX Cloud and Liquid purp0 , who worked tirelessly to make this offseason a success. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to secure not only the best players in terms of skill but also those who align perfectly in terms of synergy and personal values. It’s been an intense and exciting offseason full of key decisions. Now, we’re ready to take on the new season with everything we’ve got. If you have any questions about the process, feel free to leave them in the comments. I’ll do my best to answer them as soon as possible! Or maybe I will make a post with answers on most of them in one big postshow more

Subject: Urgent Appeal for Review of Suo Moto Order... on Stray Dogs – Protecting Compassion, Law, and Public Sentiment To The Hon’ble Chief Justice of India Supreme Court of India New Delhi Respected Sir, We, the compassionate citizens of India, write to you with deep concern over the recent suo moto Supreme Court order directing the mass removal of community dogs from the streets of Delhi-NCR to shelters. While we understand the importance of public safety, this order has created fear, grief, and unrest among millions of Indians who love and care for animals. Our Concerns: 1. Emotional & Cultural Bond Over 60% of citizens across rural and urban India care for and feed community dogs. Dogs are a part of our traditions, offering protection, companionship, and unconditional love. 2. Religious & Moral Values India’s cultural and religious ethos promotes compassion towards all living beings (Ahimsa). This order is seen as going against the moral responsibility enshrined in Article 51A(g) of our Constitution. 3. Impact on Youth, Students, Farmers, and Rural Citizens The youth, students, and rural communities—who are often the first to help injured or hungry animals—feel personally attacked by this decision. In villages and farms, community dogs are guardians and companions, part of the social fabric. 4. Practical & Humane Concerns India does not have the infrastructure to house thousands of dogs humanely for life. In reality, mass relocation to overcrowded pounds often leads to neglect, disease, and premature death. 5. Violation of Established Animal Welfare Rules The Animal Birth Control (Dogs) Rules, 2023 mandate sterilization, vaccination, and release—not permanent removal. The present order contradicts long-standing, proven, and humane stray dog management laws. 6. Proven Scientific Solution Exists The ABC–ARV method (Animal Birth Control & Anti-Rabies Vaccination) is recognized globally and by the WHO as the most effective, humane solution to manage dog populations and rabies risk. 7. Perception of Bias & Wrong Messaging The association of this decision with individuals known for anti-dog sentiments creates mistrust and polarizes citizens. 8. Democratic & Electoral Sentiment This order risks alienating a large segment of the population, potentially affecting public trust in institutions and governance. Our Appeal We respectfully request: Immediate stay on the implementation of the current order. Constitution of a larger bench to review the decision with inputs from the Animal Welfare Board of India, veterinarians, animal rights organizations, and public representatives. Adoption of ABC–ARV as the humane, lawful, and sustainable national policy for community dog management. We firmly believe that protecting both public safety and animal welfare is possible through science, compassion, and law—not mass removals. LLM Artifacts Connected to Andrej Karpathy's LLM Knowledge base... idea, I've been building out a fun way to generate dynamic artifacts from these knowledge bases with the goal of discovering and revealing meaningful and deeper insights. LLM KBs are hard to consume for humans, as I think they are more built for agents. So the question is, what form would be useful for humans to take actions and make important decisions? That's what I am trying to figure out with these artifacts. The artifact example shows a pulse on HN discussions around AI-related stories. The insights can go deeper, of course, but this is already super fun and thought-provoking, like some of my favorite podcasts. The format and depth matter a lot. The aggregation skills of agents are outstanding if you tune the prompts and skill carefully. I built this artifact generator in a few minutes through an agent skill, but I feel like there are so many ways that LLM-generated information can be used and consumed. Like generating deeper insights and analysis, and things that are just not feasible for humans today. The generated artifact (including its data and design) serves as reusable templates or can be updated in real-time via auomations, which is something I am also working on. It is truly an insane way to monitor and track information. Better than a newsletter. Better than newspapers. There is something about this that gets me really excited about the future of AI agents for knowledge generation and discovery. Lots of hidden gems everywhere just waiting to be discovered and acted on if the information is presented correctly. This is not perfect. The format, style/prose can be improved, but this is easy to customize via skill. You can personalize it to your liking. I feel like these dynamic artifacts are going to emerge as a strong new medium to stay on the cutting edge of things, both for agents and humans. My target is research, of course. This was just a basic example. Besides animation, I am also targeting other components like voice, videos, images, slides, etc. This space is full of opportunities to explore. Skill for this coming soon.show more

Not every hero wears a cape. Some just share... their bread. Created with Seedance 2.0 + GPT Image 2 on OpenArt Prompt: TITLE The Piece of Bread REFERENCE Use the provided combined character sheet and storyboard board as the main visual reference. Follow the same woman design, stray cat design, bread, sidewalk, low wall, cloth shoulder bag, water bottle, warm sunset lighting, and emotional story beats. Keep the woman and cat visually consistent in every shot. Do not add extra characters. Do not change the core story. SUBJECTS Woman: A young woman in her early 20s with shoulder-length slightly messy dark brown hair loosely tied back, a soft oval face, gentle expressive anime eyes, and a tired but kind expression. She wears a faded oversized hoodie, loose trousers, worn sneakers, and carries a simple cloth shoulder bag. She appears hungry, humble, compassionate, and resilient. Her acting should remain subtle, natural, and emotional. Cat: A small original stray cat with short charcoal-gray fur, a cream-colored chest and paws, one ear with a tiny notch, a long curved tail, and expressive anime-style eyes. The cat feels timid, hungry, hopeful, innocent, and lovable. It begins cautious and hungry, then gradually becomes trusting and comforted. Bread: One small round bread bun. This is the central story object. The woman breaks it into two pieces and shares one half with the cat. ENVIRONMENT Quiet city sidewalk at sunset. Low concrete wall behind them. Soft blurred road and distant buildings in the background. A simple cloth shoulder bag and a small water bottle placed beside the woman. Warm golden-hour light with long shadows. Peaceful, lonely, emotional atmosphere. STYLE 2D Japanese anime short film with a hand-drawn aesthetic. Clean inked outlines, flat-to-soft cel shading, simplified shadow blocks, no CG or 3D rendering. Soft emotional storytelling. Warm golden-hour lighting with painterly anime backgrounds. Expressive anime eyes with subtle, believable facial acting. Gentle cinematic movement with a traditional anime animation feel. No 3D render. No CGI. No Pixar-style shading. No photorealism. No comedy. No chaos. No copyrighted characters. No text. No subtitles. No logos. No social media UI. No background music—only natural ambient sound effects. CAMERA 16:9 cinematic framing. Use close-ups and medium shots to emphasize emotion. End with one wide cinematic shot. Slow push-ins and gentle cuts. Shallow depth of field. Keep both characters clear and expressive. Avoid fast movement or exaggerated actions. TIMELINE 0:00–0:02 Extreme close-up. The woman slowly lifts a small bread bun toward her mouth. She is about to take a bite. Warm sunset light softly illuminates her face and hands. Her expression shows hunger, exhaustion, and quiet resilience. She pauses just before eating. SFX: quiet street ambience, soft breathing, gentle hand movement. --- 0:02–0:04 Medium shot from the woman's side. A small stray cat sits a few feet away on the sidewalk. The cat gazes at the bread with sad, hopeful eyes. It remains still, timid, and cautious. The woman notices the cat and slowly lowers the bread. SFX: soft cat meow, light breeze, distant city ambience. --- 0:04–0:06 Close-up of the woman's hands. She slowly breaks the bread into two pieces. Tiny crumbs fall gently. The moment feels like an important emotional decision. Her hands pause briefly after splitting the bread. SFX: soft bread tearing, tiny crumbs falling. --- 0:06–0:08 Medium side shot. The woman gently extends one half of the bread toward the cat. The cat looks at the bread, then into the woman's eyes. It is nervous but curious. The woman gives a soft, reassuring smile and keeps her hand perfectly still. SFX: gentle hand movement, cat sniffing, quiet breeze. --- 0:08–0:10 Low close shot near the cat. The cat slowly steps forward. It carefully takes the bread from the woman's hand. The woman remains calm and gentle. The cat begins eating, and its expression gradually softens into trust. SFX: tiny paw steps, soft bite, gentle chewing. --- 0:10–0:12 Medium shot. The woman sits comfortably on the sidewalk. The cat comes closer and sits beside her. She gently strokes the cat's head. The cat leans into her hand and relaxes. The moment feels warm, peaceful, and safe. SFX: soft fur brushing, content cat purring, distant street ambience. --- 0:12–0:14 Close emotional shot. The cat rests its head on the woman's lap. She looks down with a warm, slightly bittersweet smile. She still holds her own half of the bread in her other hand. Both appear comforted, no longer feeling completely alone. SFX: quiet breathing, soft breeze, distant city sounds. --- 0:14–0:15 Wide sunset shot from behind. The woman and the cat sit side by side facing the glowing sunset. Their long shadows stretch across the sidewalk. The cloth shoulder bag and water bottle rest nearby. The final frame feels peaceful, hopeful, and heartwarming. SFX: soft wind, distant street ambience, gentle satisfied cat purr. Storyboard Prompt: Create a single horizontal animation pre-production board for an original emotional 2D anime-style short film titled "The Piece of Bread." The output must be one image only and combine: 1. a character design sheet 2. a hand-drawn storyboard page. IMPORTANT Do not make the woman or cat resemble any reference screenshots or existing characters. Keep the same emotional story concept, but create completely original character designs, unique silhouettes, and distinct facial features. No copyrighted characters or close resemblance to any existing animated films or anime. STYLE Professional anime production board. Hand-drawn storyboard style with loose pencil sketch lines, light gray shading, red panel borders, blue motion arrows, and short handwritten production notes. Rendered with anime-inspired linework featuring clean inked outlines, expressive eyes, and simplified shading blocks. It should look like a real animation studio planning sheet, not a polished final illustration. LAYOUT Clean horizontal 16:9 board divided into two sections. The cat should feel timid, hungry, hopeful, innocent, and lovable. Show: front view side view 3/4 view expressions: sad, shy, hopeful, happy, trusting sitting pose taking bread pose cuddling beside the woman Include tiny handwritten notes and a few small color swatches. SECTION B: STORYBOARD Create 8 cinematic storyboard panels arranged neatly in a grid. Keep character designs consistent throughout. Medium shot of the hungry stray cat sitting nearby, staring at the bread with sad, hopeful eyes. 3. Close-up of the woman breaking the bread into two pieces as crumbs fall. 4. Today we’re announcing our new Mentava Basics curriculum, aimed... at kids who are still a bit too young for the standard Mentava curriculum. Here’s what people don’t understand about teaching a 2 or 3 year old to read: The necessary skills for reading don’t all develop at the same time. The ability to associate letters with sounds happens first, and at a pretty early age. If you think about it, learning “this funny shaped animal says moo” is pretty similar to learning “this funny shaped line says aaa.” However, the second necessary skill for reading is blending those letter sounds together, and kids often aren’t developmentally capable of doing that until at least 6-12 months later. Until today, our recommendation has been to wait until the child is developmentally ready to blend sounds. and then we just go full speed and teach them everything all at once, as fast as possible. But sometimes we have students who start a little younger. And then their parents are confused, because they see that their kids are having a ton of fun learning letter sounds super fast, but then are being gatekept from additional learning because they aren't yet developmentally ready to blend those sounds. That’s why we created the new Mentava Basics curriculum. Mentava Basics lets our youngest students focus on letter/sound pairings until they're developmentally ready to begin blending them. Mentava Basics takes the fun and delight of the core Mentava experience, but applies it to a curriculum that’s developmentally appropriate for even younger children. Mentava’s standard curriculum is still the fastest way to go from zero to reading, but with Mentava Basics now we can give kids a head start by helping them learn their letter sounds in advance. If your child is struggling with blending and you think it may just be a developmental readiness issue, you can use the grownup menu to switch into the Mentava Basics curriculum. We save your progress on both pathways, so you can switch back to our standard curriculum whenever you want.show more
