Let me quickly clarify this – there was no... excessive use of force against protestors in Serbia. Quite the opposite - and we know what the excessive use of force looks like. Attached in the video are just few examples. But this is not Serbia, these are some of the most advanced EU democracies. On protests in Serbia – I wish they were peaceful, but they are not. Protesters in Serbia are, on a daily basis, denying all fundamental rights to other citizens in this country: the right to freedom of movement, which is a fundamental human right, freedom of speech, freedom of opinion, freedom to live freely and peacefully. Two years ago, as the Russians retreated, they kidnapped... 48 children. None of them were even three years old. Most of these children were forcibly relocated deeper into occupied territory — to Crimea — while others were deported to Russia. You will never be forgotten as long as we are here. 🕯️ In these times, as we remember the Tutsi who were killed because of who they were, I also remember the Hutu who died with them. I remember the Hutu who were killed with their families because of their political ideas, those who were killed because they hid the Tutsi, and those who were killed simply because they looked like Tutsi. May God give them a good place to rest. For those of us who believe, we hope to meet again. These protesters are united by HUNGER and not by... ETHNICITY, RELIGION or FINANCIAL INDUCEMENT... They were provoked by the extravagant lifestyles of their leaders who keep telling them to be patient from one government to another. They've been largely peaceful despite attacks from physical and online bullies who pretend never to have participated in street protests before. There is no country in the world where protests are absolutely peaceful... I pray the government will do what is right by addressing their grievances instead of attacking them...
