Americans on EBT and government welfare programs say they’re... part of the resistance because they’re opting out of the system “People act like work is some moral achievement. No, work is compliance with capitalism. Refusing to work is resistance — We're participating in the downfall, not the rat race. Yeah, I don't have a job. I have integrity. And our EBT card? That's community redistribution, baby.”show more

“Staggered trap bar work is rapidly becoming a favorite... derivative. By using a quasi-bilateral stance (staggered), we can emphasize glute far more, due to the lower starting torso position and thus a deeper hip angle. It makes the movement a little more challenging for the trunk also, and I prefer a rear heel elevated stance to further emphasize the lead leg. The benefit is more forceful unilateral work— the same reason I like hand-supported work. I usually program this in conjunction with the bilateral stance trap bar and staggered Zerchers and RDLs.”show more

Why would a Division 1 baseball program train their... pitchers like this? It’s called Savage Power: 8-12 seconds of fast, unpredictable work followed by a 20-second reload. The goal is to teach athletes to remove slack, stabilize key positions, and produce speed and power under pressure. Not to mention it also mirrors the rhythm of the pitch clock. Empty the tank. I used to ask why would one leave their... home & find a public place to sleep for a few a hours instead of their bed. Now at my old age I understand that at times, your soft mattress might be hard for your body and the hard earth will be soft & gentle to your body. I now appreciate & understand why men go to the bar after work or stay in the car or pass by the market or church for evening prayers to pass time first before going home.
