I think a big mistake is believing that if... something is here, we should be able to see it. Right? The lights in the sky and the pilots or the gods or whatever they are? So, my opinion on what the Antarctic (Antarctica) Anomaly... is that it's a type of frequency technology. It must be way more powerful than HAARP, as many have claimed it to be, because we would see these anomalies at other HAARP sites, and we don't, not like this. With that said, and I'm very much trying to avoid letting what I want it to be not play a part here, I think it is a technology that is being used either off the coast of Antarctica itself or Bouvet Island. A third possibility is an area just to the northwest of the island that looks odd. It's possible it is a sonar scan from a ship, but why in that remote location? It looks like an antenna set up or rows of something that is out of place. I also believe that the weather events and fires that have taken place in Africa could possibly have been because of this. OK, I have a definitive word on the CJ... Abrams play from today's Pittsburgh Pirates at Washington Nationals game after talking with Elias Sports Bureau on this. Here, since he is running, and he ends up further away from home (157 feet) than when he started (145 feet), this is going to count as a sacrifice fly. That definition is changing, in part from this play to help bring greater consistency, and to take some of the guesswork out of it (the argument that he is running into the outfield as opposed to more parallel). Now, folks all the time ask "why doesn't MLB publish the OS Manual" and I always say because it is a living document that can have the wording change, and the wording for this play will be modified to something like "more towards the outfield wall than towards home plate" to eliminate any confusion. The big key to this play is that he was running on a full sprint. Also, and this is helpful for me, but for all fly ball outs that score a run, Elias Saba reviews to ensure consistency. LLM Artifacts Connected to Andrej Karpathy's LLM Knowledge base... idea, I've been building out a fun way to generate dynamic artifacts from these knowledge bases with the goal of discovering and revealing meaningful and deeper insights. LLM KBs are hard to consume for humans, as I think they are more built for agents. So the question is, what form would be useful for humans to take actions and make important decisions? That's what I am trying to figure out with these artifacts. The artifact example shows a pulse on HN discussions around AI-related stories. The insights can go deeper, of course, but this is already super fun and thought-provoking, like some of my favorite podcasts. The format and depth matter a lot. The aggregation skills of agents are outstanding if you tune the prompts and skill carefully. I built this artifact generator in a few minutes through an agent skill, but I feel like there are so many ways that LLM-generated information can be used and consumed. Like generating deeper insights and analysis, and things that are just not feasible for humans today. The generated artifact (including its data and design) serves as reusable templates or can be updated in real-time via auomations, which is something I am also working on. It is truly an insane way to monitor and track information. Better than a newsletter. Better than newspapers. There is something about this that gets me really excited about the future of AI agents for knowledge generation and discovery. Lots of hidden gems everywhere just waiting to be discovered and acted on if the information is presented correctly. This is not perfect. The format, style/prose can be improved, but this is easy to customize via skill. You can personalize it to your liking. I feel like these dynamic artifacts are going to emerge as a strong new medium to stay on the cutting edge of things, both for agents and humans. My target is research, of course. Is that to say he was hacked at the text level, or the X post level? Did he in fact make the post, and delete it? When you slow plays down to 1/100th the speed, it distorts what actually happened and makes it look like, in this case, Cooks possessed the ball for seconds prior to losing it. For a catch: A) Secure control of the ball ✅ B) Two feet down in bounds ✅ C) After (a) and (b) have been fulfilled, clearly performs any act common to the game (e.g., extend the ball forward, take an additional step, tuck the ball away and turn upfield, or avoid or ward off an opponent), or he maintains control of the ball long enough to do so. First video of LK-99 Full Levitation, aka flux-pinning This... video was just posted to the Chinese video-sharing site BiliBili and claims to be a highly pure synthesized sample of LK-99. What is the physical phenomenon behind this and what does it mean? Levitation of superconducting materials is a phenomenon unique to what is called Type-II superconductors, and is an effect whereby magnetic field lines becomes 'trapped' as it passes through the material, providing the force needed to levitate. These are the popular images and videos of cryogenically-cooled discs floating above a magnet frequently seen online and in the pinned post on my profile. You can think of this like strands of hair being caught in gum - the gum is suspended in mid-air by adhering strongly to the hair as the hair passes through it. The hair in this case is magnetic field lines and the gum is the Type-II superconductor. Just like hair comes in individual strands, or in other words hair is 'quantized' or 'discrete', so is the flux trapped at the 'pinning centers' quantized in what are called 'magnetic vortices' - the quantization of pinned flux lines is a key property and distinguishing characteristic of Type-II superconductors (although technically can occur in Type-I superconductors if the material thickness is smaller than the London penetration depth, which is indeed very small - specifics for the physics nerds out there). Flux pinning is thought to arise in some Type-II superconductors by small imperfections in the crystal, also called volume defects, that enable flux to penetrate the material. In SRF cavities an issue that arises is any magnetic field that is passing through the material, e.g. by the Earth's background field, can become pinned or trapped inside the cavity as it transitions into a superconducting state.
