The defensive line continues to play with this "we're... nobodies" mentality despite being the No. 1 defense in the country that just held their rival to no touchdowns and are about to play for a Big Ten title. Zimbabwe declared a state of emergency in its capital... city, Harare amid a deadly outbreak of the medieval disease, cholera. What you are seeing below is raw sewage flowing in the streets of Harare due to an unserviced old sewage system left by the colonial government. This is what happens when political leadership fails a country and focuses its energises on looting public funds and plundering the country’s natural resources. This level of total collapse is not only tragic, but it is now bringing diseases for Zimbabweans, yet their public health system is totally collapsed! The most painful thing is that part of Rhodesia’s propaganda predicted this, imagine working so hard to prove Ian Smith right. Yet you see the ruling political elites in designer suits and being driven in the latest black Mercedes cars yet sewage is flowing in the streets like this! For telling you this self evident truth, I will be called a Western puppet and whole trailer load of insults. The insults don’t matter in the face of this truth, like George Orwell said, “….perhaps one did not want to be loved so much as to be understood.”show more

In a feat that redefines human ability, what was... once considered impossible has been shattered at the London Marathon: a sub-2 hour marathon. Sabastian Sawe (Kenya) ran 42 km in 1H.59M.30S and Yomif Kejelcha (Ethiopia) finished in 1H.59M.41S. Simply insane. For decades, this was spoken of as a barrier the human body could not cross. Today, it has fallen. A reminder that limits are often self-imposed. What seems impossible today becomes possible tomorrow. That is the story of human progress.show more

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure continues to suffer from the heaviest... technical difficulties yet. I went on the attraction for the first time 2 months ago today, and it was one of the happiest moments of my life, yet these issues can’t be ignored. My 26th ride last night was the worst state I’ve ever seen it in, and it’s operating in an even worse state today, with the Audio-Animatronics figures freezing and resetting while Guests were riding. I love this attraction more than any other, yet I’m at the point now where I’m even having a hard time enjoying it when my favorite parts of it aren’t working correctly. This attraction, in my opinion, truly is a joyful celebration when everything is working correctly, yet that’s not reality right now. I’m sad to see it in this state and hope to see the issues addressed immediately so everyone can fully enjoy the beautiful experience that it is.show more

You may not have realized it yet. But the... market for routine business operations is about to collapse. Because this is what their replacement looks like. A telegram chat. A team of AI agents. He types what he needs. They execute. He approves in ten minutes and moves on. Code written. Sites built. Leads qualified. Support handled. Invoices sent. Competitors monitored. All of it. Ten minutes a day. A 6-person ops team costs $28,000/month. His agents do the same work for $200/month in tools. They didn't hire the team back. The person who built those agents charges $2,500/month to maintain them. The gap between someone running this system and someone still doing it manually is not closing. It widens every week.show more

How does someone who promoted racist views on national... television, insulting all Bangladeshis, get nominated for a Gold Logie? The medical doctor Allison Langdon referred to as a "Bangladeshi plastic surgeon" was trained in the UK. Instead of pursuing a lucrative career in Hollywood performing boob jobs, he returned to his homeland to work in a hospital, treating underprivileged children who have been horrifically scarred by burns. I have never met or spoken with this doctor, but his dedication alone suggests he is a remarkable person that we should be listening to. Yet, his work was mocked in a racist manner simply because he is Bangladeshi. His nationality should have no bearing on his medical expertise, yet Allison Langdon threw it into her commentary in a derogatory way, seemingly to undermine his medical research. Can we not trust Bangladeshis, Allison? What disgraceful, gutter journalism. And yet, she’s nominated for a Gold Logie? What a joke.show more

As I sit here in DC this week, we... are closer to something I was not sure I would ever see. I have been working in this industry since 2015. For most of those years, the defining feature of crypto in Washington was not policy. It was the absence of it. A gray zone where serious people built serious things under a constant cloud, never quite sure which rules applied or whether the ground would move beneath them. This week the CLARITY Act sits on the Senate calendar. A federal framework for digital asset market structure, the thing this industry has wanted for the better part of a decade, is closer than it has ever been. It is not law yet, and there are real hurdles left. But the distance between where we stood a few years ago and where we are sitting today is hard to put into words. I keep thinking about the work that got us here. Over the past year I watched Chainlink move from outside these conversations to inside them. Sergey at the White House for the signing of the GENIUS Act. The Department of Commerce putting government economic data onchain. Meetings with the SEC that became real interpretive guidance. Conversations with the lawmakers now writing the rules. None of that happens by accident. It happens because people keep showing up, year after year, and make the case in rooms where it is not yet obvious. And there is something fitting in it. The entire premise of what we build is verification. Making truth provable. Removing the question of what is real. The work here in DC is the same thing in a different form. Trading a decade of ambiguity for something the industry has never actually had. We are not at the finish line. But sitting here, it is hard not to feel the weight of it. The gray zone is ending. What comes next is something this industry has never had. Clarity.show more

#NBC why diss this, suggesting Matt Gaetz & others... demote themselves signing up to work with #Cameo? Sometimes someone just needs a good word to help ‘em through. That’s how I see Cameo Wood. Nothing is beneath any of us trying to encourage & edify our fellow man who reaches out. IF YOU WATCH THIS VIDEO KEENLY!! Both the girl... and the boy could be in the wrong. But my stand is not about taking sides it’s about what the law says, especially on forceful recording and sharing content without consent. Just think a few years ago, someone shot a DJ just for telling him, “Stop touching my girlfriend’s buttocks,” leaving the DJ crippled, yet no one attacked him online the same way I’m being attacked not because I committed a mistake, but simply for responding to a complaint and standing for what is right. Yet today, my only “mistake” is standing with someone I don’t know, who was forcefully recorded and cyber-bullied, and calling out what was illegal. If in your conscience you feel I have offended you for my actions, I ask for your forgiveness. But on the case of illegal recording and sharing without consent, I have no apology. It makes you wonder have we become a society so rotten that clear violations of the law are now seen as normal, and those who speak the truth are treated like criminals?show more

Elon Musk just said something that disqualifies most of... Silicon Valley. Musk: “If you’re gonna create a company, the first thing you should try to do is create a working prototype.” Not a pitch deck. Not a business model. Not a funding narrative wrapped in 40 slides designed to make something that doesn’t exist sound inevitable. A working prototype. That alone rules out most of the people who call themselves founders. Musk: “Everything looks great on PowerPoint. You can make anything work on PowerPoint.” That’s not a punchline. It’s an indictment. PowerPoint has no physics. No engineering constraints. No supply chain. No thermal limits. No gravity. Nothing that forces an idea to prove it deserves to exist in the physical world. It is the most effective tool ever built for making the impossible look funded. Spend long enough in that world, and the distance between something that works and something that looks like it works stops feeling important. That is the real damage. Musk: “If you have an actual demonstration article, even if it’s in primitive form, that’s much, much more effective for convincing people.” Even if it barely functions. Even if half of it is held together with tape. Even if it looks like it has no business working yet. Because a crude prototype carries something a polished deck never will. Proof. Not projected proof. Not modeled proof. Not “if we hit these assumptions” proof. The kind that sits on a table and either works or doesn’t. No narrative saves it. No charisma rescues it. No market-sizing slide covers for it. It just has to be real. That is the gap between Musk and the rest of the industry. Not intelligence. Not capital. Not ambition. He builds first. Then talks. Everyone else talks first. Then fundraises to find out if the thing could even be built. The distance between those two sequences is the entire history of why most things never get made. The professional world is engineered to produce one type of person. Someone who can describe, in extraordinary detail, what they would build if given the resources. Not someone who builds. MBA programs train you to present. Accelerators train you to present. Pitch competitions are literally scored on who presents best. The system does not reward builders. It rewards the performance of building. And the people deepest inside that system are the last ones who will ever notice. Musk landed a rocket on a drone ship in the ocean. Then caught a 23-story booster out of the sky with mechanical arms on the launch tower. He didn’t pitch that. He did it. Then the world watched and tried to process what it just saw. That is what separates someone who builds from someone who performs. PowerPoint is where ideas go to be believed. The prototype is where they go to be proven. Most careers begin and end in the first. Not because people can’t build. Because the performance felt so much like progress that nobody ever stopped to check.show more

This is the Apple Bus. It used to drive... me to Apple headquarters in the morning and drive me back home at night every day for ~8 years. Inside, there’s fast wifi, strategically placed tables for your devices, and luxury leather seats for your comfort during the commute. Yet in reality, this is a rolling prison cell, subtly transporting me to a landscape of innovation, but one where I was building someone else’s dream, not mine. I was receiving a salary, a pill I swallowed each day to make me forget about my dreams and ambitions. However, it was my venture into the world of investing in Elon Musk & his ventures that finally offered me an escape ticket to unlock my cell and give me the freedom to build out my own dreams. $TSLAshow more
