BREAKING: German police reveals that a Syrian asylum seeker... pulled out an AK47 after being denied entry into a nightclub in Leipzig by security guards. He was quickly tackled to the ground. The AK lacked a firing pin and was non-functional, but it’s unclear whether the Syrian was aware of it. He was arrested by the police, who later also found a blank-firing gun when searching his apartment. German judges decided that he isn’t big enough of a threat to keep locked up and released him from detention pending charges of death threats and possession of a weapon. The man is out on the streets of Leipzig again. “Wir schaffen das” 🇩🇪🇸🇾show more

Yes, Trump went to Dairy Queen yesterday and asked... "What the hell is a Blizzard." If I were to guess, probably about 98% of Americans know exactly what a Blizzard at Dairy Queen is. It definitely is baffling to me that a former President would not know this. But who cares? No, I'm not going to claim that Trump has dementia because he doesn't know what a Blizzard is. I'm also not going to claim that this disqualifies him from being President. Although I think a lot of other things should. What I am going to say is that Americans need to stop focusing on the BS attempts to smear candidates with stupid attacks. Whether it is the right trying to attack Biden for slurring his speech, or the left trying to attack Trump for being overweight, or anything else in between, it's all just BS. We're better than that.show more

This is a statue of the only man in... Troy who saw the trap. He tried to warn everyone, and this is what the gods did to him because of it... His name was Laocoön, a Trojan priest. When the Greek army vanished and left a giant wooden horse outside the city gates, all of Troy celebrated. Only Laocoön refused to believe it. He warned his people the horse was a trick and, to prove it was hollow, hurled his spear into its side. In Virgil's telling, he spoke a line that has outlasted almost everything else about Troy: "I fear the Greeks, even when they bring gifts." He was right. The horse was packed with soldiers, and Troy was hours from destruction. This sculpture shows what he got for it. Two enormous sea serpents rise out of the sea and coil around him and his young sons, dragging all three down together. The father's whole body is knotted in the struggle, every muscle straining, his face locked in a scream. The gods wanted Troy to fall, and Laocoön was in the way. The Trojans watched him die in agony and drew exactly the wrong conclusion: they decided the gods were punishing him for attacking a holy gift. So they pulled the horse inside their own walls, and that night, Troy burned... The statue is called Laocoön and His Sons. It is the work of three Greek sculptors from the island of Rhodes, Agesander, Athenodoros, and Polydorus, and dates to the Hellenistic period, making it well over two thousand years old. Buried for more than a thousand years, it was dug out of a Roman vineyard in 1506, and Michelangelo rushed across Rome to see it the day it was found. It has been called the single greatest depiction of human suffering in the history of art, but it endures because of what it is really about: the man who sees the truth, says it out loud, and is destroyed for being right while the crowd watches... It is one of the oldest patterns there is, and it has never stopped repeating. There is nothing new under the sun.show more

J. K. Simmons says he fought for J. Jonah... Jameson to keep his iconic look from the Raimi trilogy which was comics accurate, but Sony made him go bald. “[Sony told me] ‘No, we don’t want you to have the flattop haircut,’ and I was like, ‘Wait, wait, wait. What?’” “‘Yeah, we don’t want the cigar and the mustache.’” In Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man, Jameson had the flat top, small mustache, and cigar, just exactly like the comics. But in Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home, Sony changed the character to a bald version, dropping those signature traits. “Obviously, the most important thing is that he's still the same blowhard and he does have the same damn mustache, close to it, and cigar at least."show more

Came to Rajasthan this morning to see the farmhouse... land we Invested in So glad to see it come alive! 18+ acres of legally registered farmhouse community (a challenge in Haryana). Has a connectivity with a state highway. Aravallis on three sides. Have been here on Gurgaon’s worst AQI days, right now the weather is beautiful but there’s a significant difference from Gurgaon (check below) Has a club, sustainable water harvesting, a km of pedestrian walkways and hills that you can simply trail up But beyond all this what had stood out for me was… The man behind it: Ex-CFO of a big listed RE company who quit his top job to develop such farmhouse communities. Extremely Credible & Passionate, His first Project in which he is putting his heart & soul into it. I know what it means when a person is trying to prove something when they are starting on their own. That hunger, that level of skin in the game, it’s hard to replicate that again! All your anger is natural. I’m not defending his... Instagram post but guys there’s a thin line between hate and criticism. Ik he has a diverse cult fan base and enjoys some liberty in certain areas because he always has his people's back. That said he also needs to be extra careful with his actions so they don't get upset. No matter what people say he has always been proud of you all and proudly flaunts his fandom everywhere whether on TV shows or in interviews. He always mentions his Elvish Army and has always said how grateful he is for your love and support. From now let's try to drop this and move forward. After all he's our brother. The other side is highly manipulative. But Elvish also needs to understand the more distance he maintains from such people the better it will be for his professional work. There are so many good projects lined up please don’t ruin everything because of this. Elvish Yadav we all respect your professional commitments but the post you made yesterday was completely unnecessary. SITREP: Iron Will is being released on his own... recognizance (kinda) for good behavior! Monitoring required. Oxygen levels are staying stable and he’s responding well to all the other treatments. And he’s getting more animated the closer he gets to the front door! Oh, and guess what he is asking for, “when we get home?”… It’s a daunting task, but our goal now is to isolate him from the flu ravaging the rest of our posterity to the extent possible. And to strengthen those little lungs. I can’t adequately express my appreciation for the prayers, thoughts and kind words from all of you. As always, while watching some scenes from the episode,... I get this déjà vu. And this time it happened during the hospital scene. I’m honestly 100% sure that the earlier almost miscarriage situation was intentional. It felt like they wanted to show us Serhat’s reaction when his child and the woman carrying his child were in danger and then later contrast it with his reaction when the woman he truly loves, the other half of his soul, is the one fighting for her life. I will never stop appreciating Ilhan’s acting. From episode one people doubted him, saying he only had one expression. But back then that was Serhat… the controlled doctor, M’s husband, the surgeon who keeps everything inside. Now he’s completely different. The emotional shift is almost 180 degrees from that version of Serhat. From the cave scene to the hospital scene the emotions were already intense, but the hospital was a masterpiece. The way he could barely stay standing, the way he allowed himself to cry openly even though his guards were around him! he didn’t care. Because the woman he loves had just been lifeless in his arms. And look at the details: he went down on his knees twice in this episode for her. A man as powerful and towering as a mountain fell to his knees because he felt utterly helpless! First in the cave, when he realized he was helpless! she was fainting, the venom in her blood was faster than anything he could do, and his strength meant nothing in that moment. Then again in the hospital, when he finally reached his limit and simply couldn’t stay standing anymore😭 And this is the same man who showed almost no emotion when his father died. The same man who barely reacted when his mother had a heart attack. The same man who stayed composed when his legal wife nearly miscarried. The contrast is INSANE. thank you, #ilhanşen 🥹 Thanks to everyone who wrote Serhat’s character this way, and thanks to Ilhan for delivering it so powerfully. And thanks for all the tiny micro-details that people like me (the ones obsessed with details) will always notice.😭🤏🏻 #HalefKöklerinÇağrısıshow more

I haven’t followed the Epstein story closely and don’t... have strong, settled views on it. But even from a distance, a few things are obvious. There’s literally a video of Alan Dershowitz admitting he got a massage at Epstein’s mansion. That alone—just the basic fact that Epstein had “masseuses” hanging around ready to give “massages” to his guests—makes it all but certain that a lot of people got those massages, and very likely that at least some of those encounters went beyond massages. That much, I take as a given. The real question, then, is what Epstein was actually doing? Was he simply offering his friends a good time? Was it transactional, i.e. exchanging favors or deals for access to these “services”? Or was he collecting blackmail material? Any of those are plausible, and others may be too. But calling the whole thing a hoax falls apart the second you watch that clip. Dershowitz’s own admission proves there’s a there there. Now, it may not have been as widespread or depraved as some have claimed. Some of the women involved gave contradictory testimony. That doesn’t erase what happened, but it might mean the scope was narrower than assumed. Still, people have a right to ask how far it all went. What the government should be saying is simple: Yes, the rollout was a disaster, especially the ridiculous “binder” stunt. Yes, Epstein was a predator. Yes, Alex Acosta never should have let him off. Yes, it is probably too late to piece everything together. And yes, we cannot reliably determine how old some of the girls were or exactly who did what and that is also why names cannot simply be released, because, as Dershowitz claims of himself, some guests may have engaged in conduct that was technically legal and consensual. And at the very least, one basic question should be easy to answer: did Epstein work for U.S. intelligence? He’s dead. They can say yes or no.show more

Can I just respectfully say how happy I am... that this completely blew up in the media’s face. They tried so hard to bring Eunwoo down, while fans were staying up late researching Korean law, working tirelessly to defend his name and correct misinformation. And yet, The WONDERfools released on Netflix exactly as planned with no delays, and the response has been incredible. The drama is being praised everywhere, receiving amazing reviews and so much love from viewers around the world. People are genuinely enjoying the series, even with Eunwoo currently serving in the military and unable to promote it himself. What makes me happiest is seeing his acting finally get the recognition it has always deserved. He’s gaining new fans every single day because people see his talent, hard work, and heart for themselves. You truly can’t bring a good man down 🥹 We stood by you because we believed in you, and we’re so proud of you, Eunwoo. I hope you can feel all of the love and support your hard work has brought you. 🚨 THE FALL OF BONGINO: From Truth-Teller to Controlled... Opposition—Ex-Cop Confronts Dan Bongino For PROTECTING Epstein🛡️📂 We all loved the Dan Bongino who spoke truth to power. But something changed the moment he agreed to serve as Assistant FBI Director under the current administration. 📉🕵️♂️ From the day he took that badge at the FBI until his resignation, the "old Dan" vanished. Instead of exposing the Epstein network, he spent his tenure lying to the American public and shielding the very elites—and the President's inner circle—he once vowed to expose. We hoped his departure from the government meant the "Real Dan" was coming back to reveal how deep the rot actually goes. Instead, it looks like a calculated move. Is he more useful to the administration on the outside, weaponizing his platform to spew propaganda? In this viral clip, a man who served nine years as a cop says what we’re all thinking. He doesn't see a hero; he sees a "Pedophile Protector" who traded his integrity for a seat at the table of the elite. s Bongino actually fighting the Deep State, or is he Controlled Opposition? If his "resignation" was just a strategic pivot to keep the base in line while the Epstein-tier cover-ups continue, then he’s more dangerous than the people he claims to oppose. When the boots-on-the-ground officers start calling you out, the "Gatekeeper" act is over. 🇺🇸🚫 From: Shadow of Ezra FOLLOW Him!show more

Tamale Mirundi was the kind of man you would... dislike, and at the same time look forward to listening to. He had many contradictions, swinging from one position to another and back. But wherever he stood at a time, he had that gift of the gab to make you feel like he had some point. He laboured to analyse. Much of his analysis was sophistic, and often opportunistic. But you had to be keen to notice the fallacies therein, otherwise you would get carried away by the entertainment in his way with words, metaphors, and fitting examples that were always available to him. Much as his books (pamphlets) were dismissed by many in view of the speed at which they were released, they manifest a desire to reflect and document. He prided in his arrogance. But it was usually an entertaining arrogance, easy to let pass. Towards the end of his life, his vocabulary became more and more unhinged, requiring Parental Guidance. Could the liberty of his tongue have been Dutch courage? As a propagandist, sometimes he sounded far fetched in his conspiracy theories, but his quality was often a bit higher than the new herd of bonehead propagandists deployed by his political club on social media. Many of them are characteristically unimaginative, belly-brained, predictable, petty, and, in summary, stupid. You can detect them from their first sentence. One of the features of philosophical minds is the freedom to think beyond conventions, venturing into taboo topics, pushing boundaries of what is acceptable, and questioning common sense. Much of this he did. He questioned religious beliefs and cultural norms. He lived the way of his mind. In many ways, including when he went off limits of social decency and civility, he was his own man. He dared to use his brain. He hasn’t returned it to the creator intact. May he find rest.show more

There is a video going round of Earl Spencer... rowing across the lake at Althorp to his sister's grave. On the bank, a reporter and a photographer from People magazine. Watching. Filming. It was part of the publicity for his book. Sit with that for a moment, because the island exists for one reason. In September 1997, with the whole country in the grip of something close to hysteria, the Earl chose not to bury Diana in a churchyard where people could reach her. He put her on an island in the middle of a lake, reachable only by boat, closed to the public forever, and he explained why in a statement: so that her grave could be looked after by her family and visited in privacy by her sons. Elton John thought it was sad, as if she were all alone again. The Earl said privacy mattered more. Twenty-nine years later the man who built that privacy rowed across it with the cameras rolling, so that the pictures would help sell a book in which her ex-husband is a lottery winner and her darkest moments are printed for the first time. He says he visits her almost every day, and takes flowers on her birthday and Mother's Day. Nobody doubts it. That is exactly the point. The difference between those visits and this one is not the boat, or the flowers, or the grief. It is the photographer. A brother goes to a grave alone. A publicist brings a crew. Her sons planted trees on that bank. William has never taken a camera down there. Harry however has taken his own personal paparazzi (Meghan Markle) down there. But the only person in that family who has ever turned the island into a for-public picture is the one who promised it would never be one. On the same day the footage circulated, the Earl went on daytime television to say the criticism hadn't rattled him at all. I believe him. That's the problem. A man who can row to his sister's grave for a photoshoot and feel nothing when people object is not a man wrestling with grief. He is a man running a campaign for clout and money, and the campaign is going well. She was put on an island so that no one could get to her. It turns out the only person who ever needed keeping off it was the one holding the oars.show more

The gag order lifted. And the mask came off... with it. After sentencing, Austin Metcalf’s father Jeff Metcalf went live on TikTok and was caught on a racist rant about Karmelo Anthony, including calling him a “watermelon felon,” saying Black people get “all the free sh*t we give you,” claiming “400 years ago someone sold you to us,” and attacking Black fathers for not being involved in their children’s lives. This is the same man who stood in that courtroom and said “this was never about race.” The prosecution struck every qualified Black juror from the panel. A gag order silenced public response for nearly a year. And the moment the muzzle came off, this is who he showed us he was. Karmelo Anthony did not get a fair trial. And now the victim’s own father has confirmed in his own words what this community has known from the beginning. 🎥: @SamsonCrouppenshow more
