This may not seem like a big deal, but... it is. Payton was born with a brain difference called holoprosencephaly. Essentially this means that the front part of her brain did not split into two separate left and right halves during early pregnancy. This causes developmental delays, temperature regulation issues, seizures, and coordination and motor control problems. She has struggled to coordinate midline over her near two years on this earth and it’s a big milestone moment when she can show that she’s developing and growing in this area. One thing that PT has wanted to see for a long time now is her laying on her side and being able to interact with objects in front of her like this…not just accidental batting, but intentional interaction. She’s one of those actresses who doesn’t even need to say a word; the moment she appears on screen, your eyes automatically follow her. From Save Me to It’s Okay to Not Be Okay and even Eve, she had this aura that made every scene feel bigger than it was. Whether you loved her character or hated her character, you watched. And that’s a rare talent. It’s been years since Eve, and I still find myself waiting for that one drama announcement that will put her back on my screen full time. Apparently, she has slowly returned to acting through theater and stage performances after her hiatus, but I need a proper Kdrama comeback.
