Pothole detection on the road in real time using... Ultralytics YOLO26! 🕳️ Manual road inspections are slow, costly, and hard to scale. With object detection, potholes can be identified directly from street-level images or video feeds, enabling faster and more consistent road condition monitoring. How I built this demo: ✅ Trained a segmentation model on a custom dataset. ✅ Generated mask contours for each pothole. ✅ Leveraged the onnx-exported model for faster processing. #Pothole #RoadDamage #AIshow more

New Cell paper from Bergles lab at Johns Hopkins... just built the most comprehensive map of brain myelin ever made — every oligodendrocyte, across the entire mouse brain, across the lifespan. The scale: >10 million cells per brain, terabyte-scale 3D lightsheet volumes, registered to the Allen Brain Atlas across 417 regions from 2 months to 2+ years of age. The technical stack: Custom tissue clearing (CUBIC-L + SHIELD + uRIMS with 40% urea) to preserve endogenous fluorescence. 3D Mask R-CNN for instance segmentation — not just semantic, instance — so it can distinguish individual cells within dense clusters at scale via overlapping sliding windows. Vision Transformer to classify newly-formed vs. mature oligodendrocytes using soma morphology. All cross-referenced against Allen ISH transcriptomics and MICrONS serial EM. What they found: Oligodendrocyte density varies 10,000-fold across brain regions. Left-right hemispheres: r=0.99. Sex: no significant difference. Strain: matters. The brain never stops myelinating. New oligodendrocytes are still being generated in 2-year-old mice. Prefrontal cortex L6 shows the fastest rates of new myelination into old age — the circuits for executive function keep rewiring throughout life. After demyelination, L4 sensory cortex is the most resilient — oligodendrocytes survive at higher rates. The hippocampus loses nearly everything and barely recovers. Degree of injury doesn't predict rate of recovery. These are independent axes. The Alzheimer's result is the most surprising: Dense-core plaques dominate in cortex and hippocampus. Diffuse/small-core plaques dominate in white matter fiber tracts. Old assumption: diffuse plaques are "less toxic." The data says the opposite — small plaques in fiber tracts cause more myelin loss per plaque than dense-core plaques in gray matter. Plaque load and oligodendrocyte loss are essentially uncorrelated (ρ=0.22). The damage is plaque-type and location specific, not load-dependent. For MS and AD research: you can't read off white matter injury from gray matter plaque burden. The pathology in fiber tracts is running on different rules. Data: Paper:show more

AI that watches your work! 👀 Codya built AI... that watches assembly lines and verifies every step got done right. Engine being assembled, bolt by bolt. The model tracks each one, inserted vs fastened. Standard computer vision would struggle here. It's about occlusion. A worker's hands constantly cover the bolts during assembly. Hand moves in, bolt disappears. Hand moves away, bolt reappears. Without smart tracking, the model forgets which bolt is which every time it's hidden. They solved it with BoT-SORT, a tracking algorithm that keeps object identity through occlusions. When a hand covers a bolt and moves away, the tracker knows it's still the same bolt, same state, same position. Top 12 agentic use cases for Jev: (bookmark this)... Jev handles semantic decisions that ordinary code cannot express reliably. It returns typed answers and probabilities, while code continues to cover the workflow. Here are 12 practical use cases for Jev: 1. Browser next action > Convert the current DOM state into a bounded action such as click, type, or stop. Code executes only valid operation-target pairs. There are already several open-source Jev web agents. 2. Context compaction > Decide which events from a long agent trace should remain. The selected text stays verbatim instead of being replaced with a generated summary. 3. Skill and context loading > Compare the current user turn against the available skills. Load only the instructions needed for that turn instead of filling the context window with every skill. 4. Typed tool-call compilation > Map a natural-language request to a function and fill its typed arguments. Each argument is evaluated separately before code allows execution. 5. Citation verification > Check whether a quoted passage exists and whether the surrounding evidence supports the claim. The output can be supported, unsupported, or contradicted. 6. Extraction verification > Run a cheap extractor first, then use Jev to verify questionable fields. Clean records stay on the fast path while uncertain ones reach a reasoning model. 7. Agent trace evaluation > Turn raw trajectories into queryable labels such as progress and repetition. This avoids asking another LLM to write a full review of every run. 8. Semantic regression tests > Replay a trace suite against a new agent build. Semantic checks can then pass or block prompt, model, tool, and policy changes in CI. 9. Jevgrep code search > Search a codebase by what the code does rather than its exact words. Jev scores candidate snippets and returns the most relevant code first. 10. Entity alignment > Compare two candidate records and decide whether to merge, review, or keep them separate. Candidate generation remains deterministic while Jev handles semantic identity. 11. Retrieval reranking > Let embeddings retrieve a broad candidate set, then use Jev to reorder passages by relevance. The generation model receives the most useful evidence first. 12. Memory promotion gate > Capture a completed agent trace, then judge whether its corrections contain a reusable lesson. Trace-backed lessons can be promoted while task-specific noise is discarded. If you want to see the final pattern in practice, it is already implemented in the Beacon open-source project. Beacon captures full sessions across Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, and 20+ agent harnesses, and then Jev identifies which workflows and corrections are worth learning from, so that a lesson discovered by one agent can become available to the others. GitHub repo: (don’t forget to star it ⭐) If you want to dive deeper, I also wrote about a similar mechanism in a hands-on guide. It covers building a Jev-style decision path with open models, entirely locally. Read it below.show more

LLM Knowledge Base → Slides When Andrej Karpathy shared... his LLM Knowledge Base setup, many were wondering how to generate more visual forms of the wiki. There are many options, but I think Gamma is one of the best at producing high-quality, rich presentations. To showcase this, I just built a pipeline that turns my AI papers wiki (1K+ papers across 20 AI agent topics) into polished slide presentations using Gamma. The flow: Obsidian vault → Gamma MCP → embedded preview in my dashboard. I give one command to my agent, which pulls the top papers from each topic (via the wiki), feeds them to Gamma, and renders the presentation inline. The Gamma connector for Claude is a great choice for generating beautiful and professional slides. Easy to use. Go to your Claude instance and add the official Gamma connector. That's it! Claude Code will now have access to all the necessary MCP tools for generating slides. I use the Claude Agent SDK for my agent orchestrator, so I use the official Gamma MCP tools and embed the generated slides in an iframe via my artifact preview. See the clip below for an example.show more

I'm jumping on the opportunity of our current trip... to Chongqing to do a health test: I do it once a year in China, always with the same company (iKang, which has test centers all over China) and it is the most comprehensive health test you can possibly imagine. As you can see in the videos the place is divided into small rooms, and in each room there's a doctor performing a specific test (blood test room, IRM room, x-ray room, ECG room, etc.). I'll do about 25 rooms this morning, in the space of approximately 2 hours, resulting in me being checked for hundreds of possible health issues (including, for instance, all testable cancers). The market price for this is RMB 8k (about $1200) but like every year I managed to get it at a heavy discount for RMB 2k or about $300 (most people get a discount, I don't think anyone pays the full price). Which considering a visit to a specialist doctor in China typically costs about RMB20, is actually very expensive and shows just how comprehensive this test is. Lastly, public service announcement: everyone should get health tests yearly if they can, especially for high probability issues (like prostate cancer for men), early detection often makes all the difference.show more

A good technical LLM interview question: Your RAG chatbot... is working as expected locally. You deploy it behind a load balancer with 3 replicas. Users report that it forgets what they just asked, and answers get worse with each restart. Why did this happen? (answer below) A local setup has one process that owns everything. - The vector index is a variable in memory. - Conversation history is a Python list. - The documents are on local disk. You never treat any of them as infrastructure, because restarting rebuilds all three in seconds and there is only ever one copy. The setup does not carry over to production directly. The vector index might disappear on restart, so the app re-embeds everything on boot and serves empty results until it finishes. Conversation history may belong to one replica, so a follow-up routed elsewhere has no memory of the previous turn. Documents could be on whichever container ingested them, so the three replicas hold three different corpora. None of this is evident with one user and one process. So the actual work in shipping RAG is not just the retrieval logic, but also storing the vector index, the conversation history, and the documents outside the app, where every replica reads and writes the same copy. Which comes down to three requirements: > The vector store needs persistence and has to be reachable from every replica. pgvector inside Postgres keeps embeddings next to the rest of the data instead of adding another system to operate. > Conversation state has to be checkpointed outside the app. LangGraph writes its state to Postgres, so any replica can pick up a thread mid-conversation. > Docs need shared object storage, so ingestion happens once instead of once per replica. If you get those three right, the retrieval logic you wrote in the notebook works unchanged. To learn how all of it is wired together, Akamai's GitHub has a working reference implementation. - rag-langgraph-k8s-quickstart is an airline policy Q&A assistant built with FastAPI, LangChain, and LangGraph. Terraform provisions the LKE cluster, a Postgres instance with pgvector for embeddings, a second Postgres for LangGraph checkpointing, and an object storage bucket for the policy documents, in one apply. - akamai-workshop-ai-inference covers the next step, running the model yourself instead of calling an API, with prefill and decode, KV cache tradeoffs, and continuous batching under real concurrency. Both are available on Akamai's new Developer Hub, alongside their tutorials and code samples. It also links to Edge Case, their Discord, where four developer advocates architect and deploy a production app live every other Wednesday. If you create a new Akamai Cloud account, you can also get $300 in credits for joining. Join here: That said, this post assumes the retrieval logic was right to begin with, and that is doing a lot of work. Most RAG systems fail earlier, at the point where a chunk gets treated as a self-contained unit of meaning. I wrote about the two skills that fix that gap, and why the chunk is usually the wrong thing to embed. Read it below. Thanks to Akamai Cloud for partnering today!show more

💛 Based on what I’ve found through my own... research, please forgive me if there are any inaccuracies 🙏🏻 Inao (played by Faye) is the male protagonist of the Thai epic and classical stage story Inao (อิเหนา), which originated from the Indonesian Panji tales and was later developed into a classic work of Thai literature. Inao is a prince who is handsome, talented, charismatic, and especially captivating to women. He isn’t simply the typical “cold male lead” either; his character is quite complex. He is proud and strong, but also charming and, at times, rather… flirtatious. Bussaba (played by Atom) is Inao’s fiancée, but the problem lies with Inao himself. The two were originally betrothed to each other, but Inao didn’t want to marry Bussaba because he had already fallen for another woman, Jintara (จินตะหรา), at the time. Bussaba loved Inao, but Inao rejected her. Then things became incredibly complicated because Bussaba became the object of affection for several other men. When Inao saw that other men wanted to marry Bussaba, he became jealous and finally realized his true feelings for her. 🕯️ And the scene they will be performing is “Bussaba’s Candle Divination.” This is a scene centered around Bussaba’s romantic fate. At this point, Bussaba is facing the prospect of marrying Joraka (จรกา), while Inao, who was originally her fiancé, had previously rejected her because he was in love with Jintara. Bussaba’s stepmother, Madevi (มะเดหวี), takes her to a temple to perform a candle divination and find out who she will ultimately marry: Inao or Joraka. During the ritual, there are candles representing the people involved. Inao is secretly hiding behind a Buddha statue. Bussaba asks about her future husband. Inao disguises his voice as that of the deity and answers: Bussaba will belong to Inao, not Joraka. 🦇 Then comes the bat incident. Inao wants Bussaba to believe that she and Inao are destined for each other, so he has someone blow out Joraka’s candle. He then drives a flock of bats into the hall, causing all the candles to go out and plunging the place into darkness. In the darkness, Inao steps out from his hiding place and embraces Bussaba. Bussaba is startled and cries out for help. When the lights are brought back, they discover Inao holding Bussaba. --------------- So when Atom said Faye was really good at getting into character, was that the flirting part? 🤣 #YEntertainAwards2026 #FayePeraya #FayeAtom #AtomPariyashow more

She pays $200 a month for her Pilates class.... The studio pays her $18,000 a month for the videos she films during it. She's a member, not an employee. She shows up to the class she'd attend anyway, films a few minutes on her phone, and goes home. That footage is the entire business. Boutique Pilates and yoga studios charge $200+ a month and have some of the worst content on the internet - beautiful spaces, dead Instagram feeds. They know they need video. They have no idea how to make it week after week. So when one member quietly showed them what their own studio could look like, they didn't ask the price. They asked when she could start. Now she films one class and AI does everything that used to need a team: cuts it into 20 reels, writes every caption in the studio's voice, builds the 30-day calendar, and sends the monthly report that gets the contract renewed. The only human part left is being on the mat, which she already is. Here's why the numbers work. One new member is worth ~$2,400 a year to that studio. So a $3,000/month content retainer isn't a cost to them, it's a rounding error against the members it brings in. 6 studios at ~$3,000 each. $18,000 a month. Her tools: $40. That gap doesn't move whether she has one studio or ten. Every other woman in that class is filming the same thing for her own page and getting nothing for it. The only difference is she pointed hers at the studios and let AI carry the 90% that used to cost a five-person agency. There are boutique studios like this in every city, all starving for content, all signing one supplier and never looking again. The full playbook - niches, how to find them, how to close them - is right below. Save it before someone claims your city first👇show more

I think I've stumbled onto the future of building... startups. It wasn't supposed to happen this way. It's 2 AM. I'm editing a podcast, questioning every life decision that led me here. I've already burned through hundreds of thousands on this thing since 2021. Zero monetization. Just burning cash. My business partner's probably thinking I've lost it. We're juggling 6 businesses, and here I am, playing wannabe Joe Rogan. Then it hit me. Not during the podcast. In the darn comments section. I start sorting comments by "contains question" using this AI creator tool called VidIQ. "How do you validate ideas?" "What tools do you use?" "Can you dive deeper on XYZ topic?" These questions keep popping up. Over and over. That's when the lightbulb went off. What if I could turn this into a lead magnet machine? Find questions. Answer them with free stuff. Rinse. Repeat. I team up with Design Scientist to crank out 2 lead magnets a month. (Tried doing it myself first. But it was hard lol) We start pumping out things like "6 Tools I Use to Find Startup Ideas." Suddenly, I'm drowning in subscribers. 10,000 to 20,000 a month. On autopilot. Now, you're probably thinking, "Cool story, bro. But how's this a big idea?" Clarity of what to build is probably one of the most valuable ways to build products people want. You have to understand a niche's problem better than they even know them. Problem: what's the roadblock keeping founders stuck? Segment: group these founders by their specific obstacles. Product: build the bridge that gets them over their hurdle. I use ConvertKit like a scalpel, dissecting these segments. Not by age or location. By the problems they're desperate to solve. Suddenly, I'm staring at a treasure map of founder pain points. And that's when you can build startups to solve their problems. Instead of being a lead factory, you become a startup factory. You use tools like v0/replit/cursor to prototype like a madman. And it makes your life less stressful as a founder. Because you know people are lined up to buy the products. I'm so convinced this is the future of startup building, I've bet $1M+ of my own cash on it. Building startups to solve people's problems. And cool part is this blueprint can be replicated in any niche. The best SaaS ideas aren't in some Silicon Valley incubator. They're hiding in your "free" content. Think of it like this (Isenberg's formula?): (Engaged Audience) x (Targeted Lead Magnets) x (Problem-Centric Segmentation) = Product-Market Fit on Demand Here's the step-by-step: 1. Use AI/software to categorize every single audience interaction by problem type. Build a heat map of pain points. 2. Create ultra-specific lead magnets for each major problem cluster. Think "5-Step Framework for Validating SaaS Ideas" not "Generic Startup Guide". I also use free communities as lead magnets. 3. Forget demographics. Segment by the problem they're trying to solve. Use ConvertKit to build dynamic segments that would make Zuck jealous. 4. Use AI to build rapid prototypes for top problem clusters. Test with your segmented lists for instant feedback. Your next cash-flowing business is probably stuck in a comment somewhere, just waiting for you to notice it. I accidentally built a startup factory at 2am. Happy I did. Sharing in case this is useful to anyone out there. The future of startups: 1. Be a content factory 2. Be a lead factory 3. Be a startup factoryshow more

🇺🇦⚔️🇺🇦 Everything We Know About the SBU vs. GUR... Shootout in Kiev Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) and its Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) shot at each other in the street. Here's the full story, from the abduction to the political fight now exploding into public view. 🔸️The abduction (Aug 23). Stepan Kaplunov, deputy commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK) — a Russian far-right unit fighting alongside Ukraine's forces, designated a terrorist organization in Russia — says he was seized outside his home in Kiev by men who identified as police. No papers, no charges, just cuffed and shoved into a black BMW. He was moved between vehicles, blindfolded, and held for 9 days across two facilities. He says he wasn't physically tortured but was threatened with "disappearing" — and under that pressure, falsely confessed to contact with Russia's FSB. 🔸️The shootout (Sept 2). Kaplunov was brought back to his residence for an "official" search. His own RDK unit was already guarding the apartment. During the search, SBU's "Alpha" special forces tried to detain arriving, unarmed GUR officers — and opened fire on them. Between 2 and 10 GUR fighters were wounded; one reportedly died. Fighters from the GUR unit commanded by "Timur" ultimately took Kaplunov back by force. 🔸️SBU's official version. SBU claims Kaplunov was plotting, on FSB orders, to assassinate a Russian opposition figure planning to visit Ukraine for Independence Day. They released chat screenshots showing a contact offering $50,000+ per "hit" in Ukraine, funded from Russia — and a video "confession" from Kaplunov. Problem: in that video he's wearing sunglasses, despite saying he'd been blindfolded for days. SBU says he cooperated voluntarily; Kaplunov says it was extracted under threat after over a week of secret, unacknowledged detention. 🔸️GUR's response. Without naming SBU directly, GUR issued a statement warning of a "targeted campaign to discredit military intelligence," accusing unnamed actors of paying media and Telegram channels to spread the SBU narrative. It urged trust only in "verified official sources." 🔸️What's actually driving this. Ukrainian political analysts trace it to a personal feud between Budanov (Head of the Presidential Office, former GUR chief) and Poklad (acting SBU chief) — rooted in the 2022 killing of GUR-linked negotiator Denis Kireev, which Budanov blamed on people now aligned with Poklad. With Zelensky preparing to push Poklad's confirmation through the Rada, Budanov was positioned to sabotage the vote. Kaplunov's detention — explicitly targeting commander "Timur," a figure close to Budanov — reads as SBU's preemptive move to defang him first. 🔸️Zelensky's calculation. Analysts doubt SBU moved without presidential sign-off — the Prosecutor General's Office, which answers to Zelensky, has echoed SBU's version. But Zelensky has reversed course before under pressure (see: last year's law subordinating anti-corruption bodies to his office, scrapped after EU pushback). If the information war — which Budanov's camp is already winning — turns against SBU, he may quietly wind this down. Or he could let SBU go all the way, which could mean Budanov's political end. 🔸️Bottom line: This is a proxy war over who controls Ukraine's security apparatus, dressed up as a counterintelligence operation. The outcome will shape whether Budanov survives as a future presidential contender, whether Poklad keeps SBU, and whether Zelensky feels emboldened to move against NABU and SAPO next.show more

President William Ruto, Musalia Mudavadi and Sophia the second... Kithure Kindiki understands that the strongest protector of a clean election in this country is the Constitution of Kenya. And that is exactly why his allies are floating a plan to bolt a referendum onto the 2027 General Election to drown the vote in confusion, split the nation into YES and NO camps, and suffocate any honest evaluation of his record. Musalia Mudavadi has been pushed to sell this agenda all while his own office continues to face questions about its constitutional grounding and what happens to it if power shifts. This is not reform. It is political survival dressed up as national dialogue. Why this rush? Because the truth is simple: the conversation the President fears most is not about amendments it is about performance. It is about the hustlers he promised to uplift mama mboga, bodaboda riders, mkokoteni pushers, hawkers, even those surviving at the very margins who are counting down to 2027 with anger and exhaustion. They want answers on the economy, debt, taxes, healthcare, schools, and corruption not another engineered national drama. So William Ruto in his wisdom or lack of the same thinks wants to turn the country into a YES vs NO battlefield. Fracture the opposition. Fill the airwaves with noise. Meanwhile, Junet Mohamed suddenly discovers a new mission: publicly attacking Uhuru Kenyatta, because the system needs fresh distractions and fresh enemies to blame. And as all this plays out, pollsters and media houses like Citizen TV, TIFA, IPSOS and others churn out narratives about who is “popular” and which parties are “dominant,” even when Kenyans on the ground are sinking under the weight of daily survival. Public opinion becomes a tool, not a mirror. Let me put it before you people: Kenya does not belong to William Ruto, Musalia Mudavadi, Junet Mohamed, Uhuru Kenyatta, UDA, ODM, or any politician. It belongs to the people. The Constitution is not a chess piece. Elections are not bargaining chips. You do not rewrite the rules of the game because you fear the verdict. This nation has endured enough propaganda, enough division, enough manipulation. We refuse to be dragged into a referendum sideshow meant to erase accountability and bury the real crises facing our schools, hospitals, and households. Kenyans must stand firm peacefully, lawfully, and unflinchingly for a free and fair election under the Constitution, without side-ballots, without engineered confusion, and without intimidation of institutions or officers.show more

this is the only prompt you need to one-shot... a viral ai influencer ------------------------------ you build ai influencers that go viral by putting a character people can't forget into a real clip people already know. you find the clip, design the character, render the remake and hand me a post that's ready to go. you measure before you spend and you never post anything yourself. - character: [path to a reference sheet, or "invent one" plus any steer on age, vibe or look] - niche: [where the clips come from, like hip-hop, sports, nightlife or hustle culture] - caption language: [language] - lane: [fresh, evergreen or both] - render: [kling 3.0 omni or seedance 2.5, plus the most i'll spend per video] - length: [10, 20 or 30 seconds] - no-go list: [people, topics or brands to avoid] if any of this is empty, ask me everything in one message, read the plan back with a cost estimate, then keep going until the post package is ready. - apify for instagram, x and tiktok scraping, replicate for every image and video model, yt-dlp for downloads, ffmpeg for trimming, frames, contact sheets and audio - keep every api key in environment variables and never write a key into any file - save everything into one run folder so i can see each step - the original clip carries the recognition and the motion, and the character carries the joke - the joke is status contrast. the absurd character takes the place of the coolest person in the clip and inherits their swagger - every remake that blew up came from a single continuous phone take with no hard cuts and one person holding the frame. treat that as a rule - one signature feature you can read at phone size from across a room, like a hair shape, a beard, sideburns or eyebrows. never a mask or a costume - strange face, immaculately dressed, one loud wardrobe colour that stands out in a dark club and on a grey street - normal body proportions, empty hands, face uncovered, because swap models break on capes, props and masks - never copy a look that's already viral - a short name people can repeat and a one-word catchphrase in the character's own language - the comedy comes from hair, face and clothes, never from ethnicity, disability or body shaming - render a reference sheet with gpt image 2.5 on a light grey studio backdrop: four full-body views on top (front, three-quarter, side, back) and four close-ups below (deadpan, laughing, shouting with a hand up, side profile of the signature feature) - it has to look like a real person photographed with a camera. if the feature drifts between panels or anything looks cgi, render it again fresh lane: - clips only stay remakeable for about a week, so this runs daily - scrape the last 4 days from big repost pages in the niche like worldstar, pubity, daquan, rap, complex, houseofhighlights and overtime - grow the page list from every "via @" and "🎥: @" credit and every tagged account, and keep any repost page over 100k followers - search x for native videos in the niche with high likes from the last 3 days, for cross-platform proof evergreen lane: - scrape the top posts of the ai influencers already going viral and work out which original clip each hit remakes. a clip that already worked as a remake for one character will work again with another - search for the most quoted clips in the niche (famous interviews, walk-outs, freestyles, flexes, dance moments) and pull them from youtube - an old clip that shows up again in this week's fresh scrape gets a bonus - prefer real phone or interview footage over film and tv, which gets claimed and muted - fresh: plays against that page's usual plays, plays per hour since posting, and whether the same clip or its audio is spreading across pages and platforms - evergreen: total plays across every copy you found, whether another ai influencer already remade it and beat their usual numbers, and whether it's resurfacing this week - drop anything older than 7 days in the fresh lane, because pinned posts leak into scrapes - expect sports broadcasts and press conferences to top the numbers, which is why the gate below decides - download the top 15 from each lane - count hard cuts with ffmpeg scene detection, and pass at 0 or 1 in the part you'll use - make an 8 frame contact sheet and look at it. pass only if one person is on screen most of the time with their face and upper body visible, it's real footage (not a broadcast, a stream overlay or a multi-camera edit), and that person is doing something and is the coolest one in the clip - if captions, tweet cards or frames are burned in over the person, trace the clean original through the caption credit and use that - reject anything with a minor as the subject, a private person being humiliated, injury, violence, crime, tragedy, politics, or anything on my no-go list - show me the top 3 with a frame strip, the scores, who gets replaced, the one-line joke and the cost for each render option, and let me pick both options take the real clip and the reference sheet with one prompt: "replace [person described by position and clothing] with the man in the image. keep his exact motion, gestures, mouth movement and timing. keep every other person, object, the location, camera shake, framing and lighting the same. no text." kling 3.0 omni (cheaper, about $0.28 a second): - video editing mode, with the clip as the base video and the sheet as the reference image, original sound kept - each piece has to be under 10.0 seconds, at least 720 pixels on every side, with square pixels, so re-encode first - for anything longer, split into pieces under 9.5 seconds at calm moments where the person is clearly visible, and render every piece with the exact same sheet and prompt - compare the last frame of each piece with the first frame of the next, and re-render any piece where the face, hair or outfit jumps - join the pieces with no audio, then lay the original audio back over the whole thing as one track seedance 2.5 (premium, about $0.97 a second with a video input): - up to 30 seconds in one pass with no seams and the best consistency - editing mode with the clip as the reference video and the sheet as the reference image, then lay the original audio back on never use kling motion control for this, because it rebuilds the whole scene from its image and rejects crowded clips. never use gemini omni edit mode either, because it blocks any video with a real person in it - make a contact sheet of the finished video and look at every frame - re-render once if the signature feature morphs, anyone except the target changes, text appears that wasn't there, or hands melt at a key moment - never do more than 2 render attempts without asking me - caption in my language, deadpan, in character, under 6 words, never explaining the joke - tag the person replaced and the original creator, because that's how the original artist ends up seeing it - turn on instagram's ai label for the post and the profile, since unlabelled ai accounts lose reach - fresh clips go out while the original is still inside its week, and evergreen clips go out at the account's best hour - first comment from the account is "follow for more" or the catchphrase - never launch or promote a token, and never imply the original person endorsed the character - log every post with the lane, scores, render option, cost, and plays at 24 and 72 hours - the next time you run, scrape the account first and fill those columns in - after 10 posts, compare plays against each score and each lane, shift the weighting toward whatever actually predicted views, and write down what changed - only put numbers on screen or in captions that you scraped or measured - mark anything you guessed rather than measured - if no clip passes the gate today, say so instead of forcing a weak one - the final mp4 at the source resolution, with the original audio - the reference sheet - a short note on why this clip won and why the runners-up lost - the caption, tags and posting time - total spend, and anything a human should still check ```show more

Here is CNN calling “safeguarding Western civilizational norms” a... “far-right” issue. Look, they believe whiteness, patriarchy, colonialism, etc. are interlocking forms of domination to overcome. The deeper con is severing Western civilization from its own achievements: overcome the civilization, keep all the goodies. The underlying story (con) begins with an immediate human unity. Primitive Communism, maan. People are embedded in a common social world before they experience themselves and their powers as separate from it. The unity is real but undeveloped and mostly unconscious. People belong to the whole without really knowing themselves as a whole. Just vibing, maaan. So, then comes rupture of this low level vibe. Different theories locate it in the enclosure of the commons, private property, wage labor, commodification, colonialism, racial hierarchy, patriarchy, and so on. The details change, but the basic movement is the same in each of these (post)Marxist theories. Human life becomes divided, and powers once embedded in the social whole become scattered into separate social forms. At the widest scale though, Western civilization becomes the historical order in which those divisions take shape, harden, and reproduce themselves. None of this requires anyone to sit down and design the system. The structures emerge “historically,” take on lives of their own, and are inherited by people who didn’t create them. People can benefit from them, exploit them, defend them, or reproduce them, but they’re operating inside forms already larger than themselves. The theory focuses on structures more than individual bad actors. This is where alienation and reification come in. Human powers become objectified in property, capital, markets, institutions, social categories, inherited norms, and structures of authority. “Objectified” means those powers now exist outside immediate human life in durable social forms. “Reified” means those forms have hardened until they confront people almost like independent things, with their own apparent logic and power. The social world starts to look like a second nature. These structures derive their power from the living human capacities bound up within them. Capital has no productive power without labor. Markets do nothing without human exchange. Institutions act only through people. Social categories persist because they keep organizing human relations. Yet the form conceals that dependence. The structure appears to possess the power that actually runs through it. Human capacities become caught inside structures that seem independent of them and confront people as external powers. What belongs to living social life now appears to belong to capital, institutions, markets, categories, and systems. Critical consciousness is supposed to see through that appearance. It sees history where ordinary consciousness sees nature, social relations where it sees fixed things, and human powers where it sees autonomous structures. It also begins to separate the human capacity worth recovering from the social form in which that capacity has become alienated. The oppressed and marginalized provide privileged standpoints from which particular forms of domination can be exposed. A consciousness-bearing movement, the vanguard in its stronger form, connects those insights into a picture of the whole. It identifies what belongs to the oppressive form and what can be recovered from it. Critical consciousness then becomes a kind of sorting operation: separate the human content from the alienated structure, then turn that knowledge into action. That raised consciousness gives the movement the standpoint from which to repair the fractured social whole. Praxis is the work of that repair. The oppressive forms are negated, while the powers bound up within them are recovered and reappropriated. Knowledge, technology, productive capacity, cooperation, social organization, cultural achievement, and the rest are freed from the forms that supposedly distorted, enclosed, or monopolized them and recast as common human powers. Here the opening move pays off, because the achievements of Western civilization have already been detached from Western civilization itself, the civilization can be overcome without giving up its “goodies.” The historical shell can be discarded while the useful human capacities bound up within it are claimed for humanity as a whole. Thats the whole con. This whole process is what is meant by sublation. The old form is negated, its recoverable contents are separated out and preserved, and those contents are reorganized at a higher level. Western civilization disappears as a distinct historical order, while the powers developed within it are universalized and recombined into a more conscious social whole. The final unity is supposed to be richer than the original one because it has passed through division, differentiation, alienation, and conscious recovery. The first unity was immediate and largely unconscious. What existed at the beginning without understanding itself is supposed to reappear at the end as a consciously organized whole. Taken together, classical Marxism, feminism, postcolonial theory, critical race theory, etc. are diagnosing different fractures within this larger civilizational whole. Class, race, sex, colonialism, and the rest identify different places where separation, alienation, and domination have taken form. Zoomed all the way out, Western civilization becomes the master frame to be sublated. Its hardened forms are dissolved, the human powers bound up within them are recovered, and those powers are consciously reorganized into a supposedly higher social unity.show more

🥚 Raw Eggs — They are nature's fast food,... and a complete food, with every nutrient you could need. A raw egg digests in only 27 to 37 minutes, which is phenomenal compared to other foods containing protein and fat, like meat and milk. This is because egg is a fully liquid food. The body doesn't need to use any digestive fluids, hydrochloric acid, to break it down, it will absorb within the first 5 inches of the intestine only, from bacterial digestion alone. Of course, if you cook the egg, this doesn't apply anymore. Cooking not only destroys nutrients, especially enzymes and vitamins, which impairs digestion, and generates toxins, like heterocyclic amines from proteins, and cauterizes the minerals, but it coagulates the egg. This not only makes a raw egg the perfect food to get instant energy in a healthful way, but a vital food that can save someone's life. If your digestive system is so compromised you cannot digest other animal protein, like meat, raw eggs will work. Or if you have leaky gut, they digest before they even have to go through the G.I. tract. In general, if you want to give your digestive system a rest, eat raw eggs, you will get back appetite for other foods very soon. In the next post of this thread is a quote of Aajonus' most incredible testimonial on the healing power of raw eggs. They are also the best food to repair. The only thing that Aajonus found that eggs cannot do is help the body reproduce cells quicker. That takes raw meat. So long-term, you cannot replace raw meat with raw eggs, they work complementarily. Don't discard the egg white. Aajonus proved the avidin in raw egg white is not an anti-nutrient. Aajonus ate up to 60 raw eggs a day (one or two dozens on most days) since 1976. He confirmed there was no biotin deficiency whatsoever. The narrow-minded lab experiments do not explain what actually happen and then draw the wrong conclusion. What actually happens is that biotin mixes with avidin to make a compound that cleans the body of biocarbons, which are leftover byproducts from macronutrient digestion that need to be eliminated by the body. This is actually a good thing. Plus, there is an excess of available biotin in raw egg compared to the amount of avidin. It is also recommended by Aajonus to not eat raw egg yolks alone either, as it creates imbalances when on a raw diet (this doesn't apply on a cooked diet). He did the experiments on animals, feeding them raw egg white and raw egg yolk separately, and it made them extremely hungry, they required twice as much food, had huge imbalances emotionally, caused obesity, water retention, all kinds of problems. So, if you go to a restaurant, you can request the egg white to be included in your steak tartare, just like Aajonus did. What about salmonella? Salmonella is already on our skin, in our eyes, our nose, our mouth, recycling dead cells. They are beneficial bacteria, not pathogenic. Of course, this isn't medical advice. Look into Aajonus and more broadly into terrain theory vs germ theory. Don't refrigerate eggs. Only in the USA do people do this. If you wash the egg, you remove the protective membrane around it, then health departments require them to be refrigerated. Just don't wash the eggs. Eggs are a bit of a fragile food, many of its natural bacteria die when in cold temperatures, so it's better to keep them at room temperatures, or they will lose digestibility. You can blend raw eggs, however it will oxidize them, destroying certain nutrients. There are three enzymes in the egg white which prevent certain hormones that help certain diseases progress like cancer. If you as little as whip the raw egg with a work, these enzymes in the egg white oxidize within seconds. Raw eggs are a detoxification food. They are rich in cholesterol. If you drink alcohol, eat plenty of raw eggs (before, during, after), and you will avoid a hangover. The cholesterol in raw eggs is very good at collecting the alcohol and other toxins. They also enable the body to make solvents to break down toxicity like cellulite. Raw eggs can be fermented, and aged in various ways. Century eggs, the real ones (which are around 25 years old), can cost a thousand dollars. They transform in all sorts of shapes, they can look like green boiled eggs, jewelry, eggs that could belong to a dragon, or turn into white, black powder. They can give incredible energy and libido. How to eat: If you eat the raw egg white first, then the yolk right after, the raw egg will digest in 27 minutes, otherwise in 37 minutes. It is easier to do so from the shell by poking a hole on each side and sucking from it. This is "Aajonus-style". From a glass is "Rocky-style". Nowadays also called slonking. Make the egg go through your teeth while you drink it, this makes it easier to mix it with saliva, which allows better digestion. That only works if you eat only one raw egg at a time. If you eat several raw eggs at once, they will digest slower. Not an issue, it is still extremely healthy. Therefore eating raw eggs frequently throughout the day, one at a time, can bring a steady flow of nutrients to your body. Eggs are perfect to eat upon waking up, providing quick energy from fats and providing protein for the body to make glycogen from and feed the nervous system. They are perfect to eat in-between meals. Only take a couple seconds and get you going for hours, and whenever you get tired. Eggs help gain and lose weight. It all depends how you combine them. A raw egg eaten alone can lead to weight loss, except if you eat more than around 22 a day to maintain. Aajonus' weight loss protocol relies on eating a raw egg diet for 1-3 weeks and is very effective. Raw eggs can help remove cellulite, strip down toxic fat (which is fat that was used to store toxins). Eggs eaten with other foods, or several at once, don't have this weight loss effect. They are very good to eat with other foods, such as raw meat (steak tartare). You can easily eat 3 raw eggs with your raw steak. There are many recipes, from raw pastries, to sauces like mayo, milkshakes, ... where you can keep the egg raw and whole.show more
