I've started using Hark Handoff for scaling our recruiting... efforts It takes a new recruiter about 30 days to make a hire from a cold start. This makes the problem really difficult for autonomous computers, as they need to operate over a month-long time horizon Recruiting is also uniquely hard because it requires constant real-world interaction, human feedback cycles, and there's almost no verifiable reward signal for hiring humans well Handoff is connected to all our systems and becoming our digital recruiting assistant. It posts and reads our open roles from the website, sources qualified candidates, connects with them on LinkedIn, sends outreach messages, and books interviews directly on the calendar Fun fact: Hark found Tanmay (shown here) - he now leads the Handoff efforts and previously worked at Ai2 on computer use agentsshow more

The startup world runs on iMessage. The problem is,... the Mac messages app is not designed for productivity and there’s no alternative online. If you’re responding to 100+ texts a day, it’s painful and messages get lost easily. As a weekend project, I used Fable to vibecode an AI-native iMessage wrapper. It has: - AI autodrafting that continually learns from your edits - Time sensitive message detection as a separate section - The ability to archive messages so you can get to inbox zero. It reads from the local chat.db on your Mac, and sends messages via AppleScript, so it’s fully secure since it still uses the iMessage protocol on your computer. At Trajectory, we’re all about using AI to accelerate our company as much as possible as possible, and natively bake in CL into all of our processes. This is just one example of how we operate. If there’s enough interest, I’ll clean up the code and send the GH link!show more

I had a meeting with Ulf Kristersson Ulf Kristersson.... A detailed conversation on all key issues, with special attention to security in the region and on NATO’s eastern flank, as well as support for Ukraine and our defense now. We also touched upon the further development of the PURL initiative, contacts with partners, and joint diplomatic efforts. The issue of frozen Russian assets was discussed as well. Formats for decisions have already been worked out – it is crucial to implement them. It is important that we are building up our joint strength and working together to protect lives. 🇺🇦 🇸🇪show more

This was all streamed from Bitcoin using Ordinals. The... 3D world supports real-time multiplayer interactions, and decentralized land ownership. All this is on-chain on Bitcoin, and as immutable and secure as Bitcoin itself. The weather in the world reacts to Bitcoin fees, clouds are linked to transaction volume, and time in the world is determined by block height. Makes sense for a Bitcoin world. Real-time multiplayer interactions is one of the newest features. This is particularly difficult to do because Bitcoin block times are ~10 minutes. Bitcoin has been around for 17 years, and we're now seeing fascinating new things being built on top of it.show more

With Prime Minister of Belgium Bart De Wever, we... had a detailed discussion about support for our defense. Belgium is preparing a substantial new aid package and a contribution to the PURL initiative. We also went over the delivery schedule for F-16 fighter jets. The first aircraft will arrive this year. This is exactly the kind of support for protecting our skies that we need most right now. Thank you! I briefed the Prime Minister on our meetings and agreements at the G7 Summit, as well as on our diplomatic engagements aimed at ending this Russian war. It is truly important that pressure on the aggressor continues to increase. We also discussed Ukraine’s European integration. I thank Belgium – the Government and all the people – for their support.show more

Today we're dropping the "beta" tag from Adaptyv, launching... our new website and announcing our $8M seed round. When we started Adaptyv a few years ago, our core belief was: AI models for biology are only as good as the experimental data they're trained on and the hypotheses they can test in the real world. Now, after a year of working with many great partners, we’ve scaled our infrastructure to the point that we're now open to anyone who wants to use our platform! Overall, this year, over 30 companies started using Adaptyv to validate their protein designs - from some of the biggest pharmas to frontier AI labs to many, many techbio startups. We've run hundreds of experiments, tested well over 10,000 proteins this year and are generating the data that validates the best AI models currently in development.show more

Let's talk about agentic product design. Every company has... its own design process. What has always worked for me is spending long studio hours with our product team, dissecting things into pieces and putting them back together. In those sessions we look at value, usability, simplicity, aesthetics, behavior, storytelling, generics, and emotional mapping. I've been crafting products this way for as long as I can remember. Product work at Lemonade isn't for the faint of heart. This obsession over every detail is hard work, but I believe it yields better results and builds stronger talent. One of the things I love about our design and product team is how this process became a second nature to them. Feedback is fast, professional, and tension free. But in our latest session, something was different. One of our designers used Figma and Cursor to build a mockup that was so advanced, it was almost ready to be shipped. It was an incredible glimpse into a world where a single designer working on top of modern low code infrastructure will be able to launch production grade experiences for products with millions of customers, and with LoCo, I expect this to become a reality at Lemonade in just a few quarters. But there's a problem to watch out for. An interesting phenomenon I've noticed over the years is that the higher the fidelity of the work being reviewed, the more defensive people become. When someone shows up with something polished, they tend to resist feedback. They've already fallen in love with what they built, and it's hard for them to accept rejection. Radical candor feedback works best at an early stage of the project, before people get attached and feel the need to defend their work. This session was no exception. Because the work was so advanced, the review became binary, and its maker became defensive. Happily, we all caught ourselves in time to acknowledge this new dynamic and started figuring out how to go back to obsessing about every corner radius, shade of white, and word. When reviewing agentically coded designs, we'll try having our designers bring in more than one option, as well as the open Cursor project so we can make changes in real time if needed. We'll see how it goes, and if this is of interest, I'll update what we learn.show more

Topic: Science and the Fullness of Life. Quote 1:... Rejecting science is easy. Understanding it is hard. Yet only this path leads to fullness of life. Author: Zafar Mirzo. Rejecting science is easy. It requires no effort, no study, and no discomfort. You can simply dismiss it and stay within familiar beliefs. Understanding science, however, is hard work. It demands time, intellectual honesty, and the willingness to change your mind when evidence shows you were wrong. Yet the author insists this harder path is the only one that leads to a full life. Science is not just a collection of facts. It is the most reliable way we have to understand reality, our origins, our world, our possibilities. Embracing it opens the door to wonder, clearer thinking, and better decisions. It frees us from illusion and gives us the tools to solve real problems. A life lived in deliberate ignorance stays small. A life guided by scientific understanding expands. The choice, though difficult, is clear. Quote 2: Science is hard to understand, yet without it there is no fullness of life. Author: Zafar Mirzo. Science is hard to understand. It takes real effort, patience, and the courage to question old beliefs. Many prefer to avoid that struggle. Yet the author is clear: without science, there is no fullness of life. Rejecting it or staying ignorant leaves a person trapped in a smaller, less accurate picture of reality. Understanding it, however difficult, brings clarity, wonder, and the ability to engage with the world as it truly is. A life shaped by scientific knowledge is richer. It sharpens thinking, solves real problems, and deepens appreciation for existence. The path is demanding, but the alternative is a diminished existence, one cut off from truth and possibility. Science may be hard, but it is the only road to a complete and meaningful life.show more

A trilateral meeting with Maia Sandu Maia Sandu and... Nicușor Dan Nicușor Dan. Today, we discussed joint work in the energy sector, the infrastructure that connects us and constitutes a significant part of the economic potential of our countries, the development of security capabilities, and our European integration. It is important that we are here like this – together – Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania. On Moldova’s Independence Day, and just a few days after Ukraine marked its Independence Day. And all of this is much more than mere symbolism. When you are a neighbor of Russia, you need to cooperate as closely as possible with all your other neighbors, with all other free nations. This is a key prerequisite for reliable defense and, more broadly, for development. Unfortunately, our peoples have already had to experience unfreedom – precisely because of Moscow. This must remain in the past. From now on, and forever, we must safeguard our independence, our freedom, and therefore our ability to develop our own potential – our own life.show more

I met with EU HRVP Kaja Kallas. The key... priority is unblocking the €90 billion financial support package for Ukraine. These funds are critically important and serve as a financial security guarantee not only for Ukraine but for all of Europe. This very package must ensure our defense and send a signal to the Russians that their war will be doomed to fail. This signal depends on Europe, and it is essential that this signal is sent so that the war can end sooner. We also discussed the need to increase pressure on Russia and the work on opening the negotiation clusters for our EU accession. I am grateful to Kaja Kallas for this visit of European ministers to Ukraine on the fourth anniversary of the liberation of Bucha from Russian occupiers. It is important that every Russian perpetrator is held accountable for all the pain Russia has brought to our people.show more

‼️𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝗿 𝗜𝗜𝗜 Kyrylo Budanov: "The third world war... has been going on for a long time and it started in Ukraine." I will add that the kinetic war, which was started by Russia in Ukraine, has now migrated to Iran. The Pentagon knows this, briefs on it, but can't get beyond a President who calls Zelensky a dictator while holding the door open for Putin. We can't send our troops into battle against the same Russian-designed drones being used to kill Ukrainians. This makes no sense anymore and we all need to start calling it out. #OSINT #Bromanceshow more

A 19-year-old student from China, Zhang Wei, developed an... AI radar and sold it to Hong Kong for $550,000 He created it using Claude, spending just $20 and a month on development He walked into the Hong Kong administration office with a flash drive and asked for just 5 minutes of their time. 30 minutes later, he walked out with a check for $550,000 The code, connected to a camera, detects speed in real time. If the speed exceeds the limit, Claude takes a video clip and identifies the owner by the car's license plate. The video and the fine are then automatically sent to the owner's email address Unlike a conventional radar that only takes a photo and doesn't always work, this AI radar eliminates disputes because it captures video and makes the process fully autonomous by sending out the fines on its own The article includes the ready-to-use configurations.show more

I am deeply grateful to Mette Frederiksen for her personal leadership, her team, and the Danish people for their support of Ukraine and our people. Today, we have a new support package from Denmark, focused primarily on the long-range capabilities that our country urgently needs. Together, we have created a special Danish model for developing Ukraine’s defense industry, and we will continue to strengthen this cooperation. 🇷🇺🇺🇸I've just returned to the States, and frankly, it... feels like I've time-traveled…Here's the unvarnished truth: at its best, the U.S. might be considered a second-world nation. Where exactly are our tax dollars being funneled? Our infrastructure is in deplorable condition, technological advancements are cloistered within the private sector only, public transportation systems are rudimentary and repulsive compared to Russia's, our cities are unsafe and beyond comprehension disgusting, and our service standards—from the highways to high-end dining—pale in comparison to Russia… It begs the question…Where is our money going? Why does our government funnel billions into foreign conflicts with no direct impact on us, while back home, safety is a luxury and basic road maintenance a fantasy? When will the focus shift from global policing to nurturing our own nation? Isn't the well-being of Americans worth the investment? I hope that with new governance from Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy we can finally start to cut wasteful spending and focus on making America Great Again…show more
