But Jennifer McCabe made Ryan Nagel show her a screenshot of his text messages to his sister Julie, which shows he was outside the house at 12:23. Ryan got there seconds after John did, which means John was inside the house at 12:23, not on Oakdale Street.show more

July 3 – Lunch at 12:00 Punch was missing... from the enclosure again. Surprisingly, both caretakers were present on duty, which means the claim that “one of them stays inside with him in the backyard” is not true. He was most likely locked outside with other monkeys. At 12:04, when Punch-kun finally returned to the enclosure, he immediately started eating. This shows he was not given his full meal while he was inside. It seems the main reason for taking him in is to separate him from the keepers, not just to feed him.show more

The Commonwealth’s theory that Jen McCabe still saw Karen Read’s vehicle in front of 34 Fairview at 12:40 and 12:45am, as reflected by Jen’s text messages to John O’Keefe’s cellphone in which she’s acting like she still sees him/Karen’s car outside, is completely destroyed by Karen Read’s cellphone data, home WiFi network & router data, and Ring camera footage—all of which establish she was long gone from 34 Fairview by that time and had already arrived back home. Therefore, Karen Read did not and could not have killed Officer O’Keefe. The other day on Brother Counsel's debate with Dave... Aronberg we saw how dangerous it can be when clowns attain state sanctioned power. He didn't know any of the facts, didn't care about any of the expert testimony, and baselessly said that Karen Read was acquitted due to jury nullification. But what I thought was most ridiculous was when he said there was no probable cause to search Brian Albert's house, despite the fact that John O'Keefe was invited there and was found dead on Albert's lawn. I know how ridiculous that is because Brian Tully got a judge to sign a search warrant for my house, and the probable cause was that I did a YouTube show in my house, and supposedly there would be more witness intimidation inside the house, as if it's a bloody knife or DNA. If there was just a dead cop on my lawn they'd leave me alone. The police searched every inch of my house and took over 300 pictures. The house doesn't always win. Four anecdotes in which... "I was there" when game companies got fleeced. Thrice by individuals, once by their own publisher. First, id Software and our non-network code. John Carmack told me that while our game worked great on a network, they had hired a guy to do the code over dial-up internet. He lived out-of-state (IIRC, California). I was told that he was a brilliant programmer, and that his current boss knew he was coding for id as a side gig. Karen Read's defense team filed a motion today that... included new video of Brian Higgins at CPD, which was withheld from them in the first trial. The surveillance video shows Brian Higgins pacing around outside, talking to someone on his phone at 1:34 AM. He NEVER mentioned speaking to anyone on the phone at the trial, or at the state or federal grand jury. Had he done so the defense could've filed a Rule 17 motion for his phone, which would be a lot stronger and less likely to be deemed a "fishing expedition" if they had video of him talking on the phone. He testified at trial that he was back home in West Roxbury by 1:40, and that it took 15-20 minutes to get there. This was all a lie, as was his excuse for being at CPD in the first place. Ryan Caldwell had visited an Animal Shelter in Portland,... Oregon three times before that Tuesday. He wasn't sure why he kept going back. He wasn't in a position to adopt - his lease had a strict no-pets clause and he hadn't worked up the nerve to ask his landlord about it yet. He told himself he was just looking. On his third visit, a staff member suggested he spend some time in kennel nine with a two-year-old grey mixed breed named Otis who had been there six weeks and was struggling with the transition. Ryan said sure. He sat on the floor of the kennel for about twenty minutes while Otis slowly worked up to him — sniffing from a distance, then closer, then curling up against Ryan's leg. Ryan scratched behind his ears and they sat together in the kennel while the shelter noise went on around them. Then visiting hours started winding down and Ryan stood up to leave. He turned toward the door. And Otis wrapped both front paws around his ankle and held on. Not jumping. Not barking. Just gripping, face pressed against Ryan's shin, shaking in a steady, quiet way that Ryan said was harder to look at than anything loud or dramatic would have been. "There was nothing frantic about it," Ryan said. "It was just — please. That's all it was." Ryan stood in that kennel doorway for a long time. He didn't pull away. When he finally left, he went directly to his car and called his landlord. His landlord said yes. Ryan was back at the shelter the following morning when it opened. Otis came home that afternoon. The lease now has a signed pet addendum clipped to the front page. Sometimes the most important question doesn't need words. ALERT: Man who blew up his ex-partner's house after... having a “meltdown” when she told him to move out was sentenced to 11 years in prison. Paul Solway, 58, detached the main gas pipe in the basement of the house he shared with his then partner, Joanne Waterfall, before setting a chair on fire, causing the house to explode.
