The Minister admits knowing and meeting Mr Mogotsi, calling... him “just a comrade”, yet denies any association? ‘📝FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 9 July 2025 STATEMENT IN RESPONSE TO ALLEGATIONS REGARDING THE MINISTER’S ALLEGED ASSOCIATION WITH MR MATLALA AND MR MOGOTSI In response to the recent allegations made by Provincial Commissioner Mkhwanazi, and while respecting the President's call for calm, the Minister of Police, Mr. Senzo Mchunu feels it is important to clarify the following: The Minister has never met Mr. Matlala, has never spoken to him, nor has the Minister ever requested or received anything from him. The Minister did however, initiate a review of the SAPS tender awarded to him when suspicions of possible wrongdoing surfaced. It was the same tender which has since been terminated. Furthermore, whilst the Minister knows and has met Mr. Brown Mogotsi, he is just a comrade and not an associate of the Minister. The Minister has never requested or received anything from him. For more information, contact Ministry Spokesperson, Kamogelo Mogotsi on 076 523 0085. For media releases, speeches and news visit the SAPS portal at: ‘show more

The only thing growing in Israel when it comes... to Christians is hatred. Just yesterday, a Jewish Israeli extremist spat at the entrance of Saint James Monastery in Jerusalem’s Armenian Quarter. “There is an ancient Jewish tradition when we (Jews) pass by a monastery or a priest, we spit. We can agree or disagree, but when we spit on the priest or the church, I don’t think this expresses any violation.” - Itamar Ben-Gvir, National Security Minister of Israel.show more

I'm not a MultiversX $EGLD maximalist. There are many... other chains that I like and resonate with for different reasons, like $XNO, $XMR, $SUI $ALGO, $XRD, $DASH, $ADA, $AVAX, $BCH, $NEAR etc. However, I believe Multiversˣ has the biggest asymmetry at this point. And for that, I mean, not only looking at egold from an investment perspective (which is also true, with massive growth potential, in my opinion), but also (and much more) from an ecosystem perspective. The ecosystem is still small and super welcoming to active contributors. Starting to contribute now, or building something within the ecosystem now, offers a huge asymmetric reward for the long run if MultiversX grows as much as I think it could. This, of course, is also a sort of bet and has its risks, but the risk-reward ratio is positive from my assessment and this is precisely what I'm doing. Anyone building a reputation, a brand, a business, or simply a network around MvX, now, is positioning for the future. This is the most valuable asymmetry in my opinion. Even bigger than simply buying EGLD, which I also believe will be very rewarding soon, but anyways. Build something. Whatever that is. Start now. What's your opinion about what I said here?show more

What the hell is wrong with these people? This... is straight-up legalized murder in Massachusetts. Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey just signed a law that allows abortions up to the moment of birth. No limits. Just “whatever the doctor decides.” You’re not terminating a pregnancy at that point. You’re killing a fully formed baby that can feel pain and could survive outside the womb. I don’t care if you’re a liberal, a Democrat, or whatever label you wear. If you can look at this and not find it wrong, something is deeply broken.show more

Mumbai, Maharashtra: On the incident of a Shiv Sena... corporator allegedly assaulting a doctor at the KDMC Municipal Corporation, Minister Yogesh Kadam says, "No, I have not received any information about this matter so far. However, if such an assault has taken place, it is 100% wrong and unacceptable. Whatever their grievance was, they should have raised it with the concerned department or authorities. Last Thursday I was having dinner with a friend... at a regular shawarma spot near the subway. A guy he knew was sitting with us. Around 21, maybe 22. Hoodie, AirPods, beat-up backpack When the check came he grabbed it without a word. No discussion. Just tapped his phone and paid for all 3 of us My friend was not even surprised. Apparently this was not the first time I asked: what do you do? He said: "I copy wallets on Polymarket" I thought it was a joke. Or some trading guru with a $500 course But he explained it simpler than I expected "On Polymarket there are wallets that are consistently in profit. Not on 1 bet but on dozens in a row. I do not try to guess who wins the election or what the weather will be in Dallas. I just look at what a wallet with a 70+ win rate is doing and repeat it" He did not build models. Did not write scripts. Did not analyze news He opened Telegram and showed me a channel. Simple messages: wallet X entered position Y, price Z cents, market such and such Then he opened Polymarket and showed me his balance I am not going to name the exact number because he did not ask for that. But I will say this: it is enough for a guy in a rented apartment with 3 roommates to casually pay for dinner for 3 and not think twice I asked: "How did you figure out which wallet to follow?" He shrugged "That is the easiest part. Polymarket is blockchain. All trades are open. You go to the leaderboard, filter by win rate, look at history. If a wallet consistently enters positions at 3 to 8 cents and closes at a dollar that is not luck. That is an information edge" Then he added something that made me freeze "The funniest part is I do not even need to understand why he bets. I do not know where he gets his information. Maybe he is an insider. Maybe he has a model. Maybe he just reads news faster. I do not care. I see that he entered and I enter a minute later. The price usually has not moved yet" I came home and could not fall asleep Opened Polymarket. Went to the leaderboard. Started digging An hour later I found the wallet he was talking about → Starting balance was negative. Current balance is a 5-figure number. Win rate above 73%. Average entry 4 to 7 cents. Average win covers 10 to 15 losses I started monitoring it manually. Set alarms. Checked every 2 hours By day 3 I realized I cannot live like this I needed the same thing that guy had. A signal in Telegram that comes on its own the moment the wallet opens a position I found a bot that does exactly that → No delays. No manual monitoring. Wallet enters and you get a notification What you do with it is up to you. Copy it exactly, use it as a signal, or just observe 2 weeks have passed. I have not become that guy from the shawarma spot. Yet But I stopped guessing. And started copying Right now somewhere a smart wallet is opening a new position. The question is whether you find out about it in a second or in 24 hours when the price has already movedshow more

Does your toddler call every animal a dog? Or... call the moon a ball? Both are examples of a perfectly normal toddler behavior known as overextension. There’s a lot of language to learn as a toddler - and so it’s not uncommon for young children to generalize use of the words they DO know to make up for those they don’t. I loved watching this little guy (shown here at 26 months) as he measures a chair with a tape measure. “How big is it?” Mom asks. Our hero’s brilliant response: “Thirteen dollars.” It’s a wonderful example of overextension - and window on his growing language development. You’ll note that $13 is not a random or outlandish response. He knows that the situation calls for a quantity and a unit of measure. The word “inches”isn’t a part of his linguistic toolbox just yet… but dollars is. What a clever and telling response! I can’t help but think that in the moments after this video some new vocabulary was introduced. Where does/did your child use overextension to describe things? 3 Safety critical interventions in a 6-mile round trip... to the post office tonight with FSD 13.2.9. That’s 2 miles per critical intervention: 1. Goes right through a stop sign shown on map and visualization. See below. 2. At the intersection just past the stop sign, it did not yield right-of-way to oncoming traffic going straight as it was turning left. I had to emergency brake to prevent a collision. Reported. 3. After stopping and waiting at a stoplight appropriately, all of a sudden it accelerated through the stoplight for no apparent reason. I had to emergency brake before much of the car had not entered the intersection. (1) and (2) above are regularly reproducible and I have posted them earlier with videos. Anyone thinking there will be nationwide unsupervised FSD or nationwide Robotaxi this year or next year: you better think again. Still long TSLA, but FSD is at an impasse with no real improvements in 8+ months. Are they making a paradigm shift to simulation training. That’s been my hunch for months. These are the reasons I believe #WithLoveMeghan failed. 1)... #MeghanMarkle’s unlikability. She doesn’t know how to connect or engage with people. Anyone. She doesn’t try to find common ground or ask questions about the person. 2) The format. Markle talking to an invisible someone off camera feels very disengaged. You feel like a passive observer-she’s not engaging or including the viewer. 3) Is she teaching or learning? She’s doing things she’s never done but acts like she’s teaching how to do it. There’s no humility with “let’s learn this together”. 4) Zero chemistry with her guests. None. Not even the people she knows. 5) She’s very offputting. She has this weird stiff formality that ages her and makes her intangible and unrelatable. She’s tightly wound. Idk why she thinks this is her forté, it’s not. The Tig did well because she wasnt on camera the whole time. #MeghanMarkleExposed #MeghanMarkleIsAMeanGirlshow more

🚨 CHICK-FIL-A IS QUIETLY ADDING A “PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FEE”... TO RECEIPTS - HOPING YOU WON’T NOTICE Look closely at this receipt. Right there at the bottom: “Public Improvement Fee - $2.00.” Not a tax. Not a tip. Not explained anywhere on the receipt. The woman filming says it out loud: What is this - and why am I paying it? No sign at the counter. No warning at checkout. No explanation of what’s being “improved” or who decided customers should pay for it. Just a quiet add-on, banking on the fact that most people won’t notice, won’t question it, or won’t want to argue over two dollars in a drive thru line. So prices aren’t just going up anymore. They’re being padded with vague fees after the fact. How many times have you already paid this without realizing it?show more

It's important to know that the Thing which is... sometimes called a "camel spider" is better called a solpugid or solifugid. It's not a spider at all. It has no venom glands, and kills prey by crunching them up with their massive jaws (the most powerful for their size of any animal). A really big one can nip you, and probably draw blood if you let it hang on long enough. But no venom of any sort. They just look super scary. I kept one as a pet for a while but it was a pretty terrible pet because all it wanted to do was escape the terrarium 24/7. Spiders, scorpions, and mantises are way more chill.show more

One thing I truly love about Meguro is that... he never makes you feel bad or upset after an encounter with him. Whether you are a fan or a passerby, he always smiles and expresses his gratitude without putting on airs. That is true sincerity. Honestly, for someone who has achieved so much fame, staying this humble and grounded is a rare quality to maintain, but he is doing a wonderful job at it 🫶 Thank you for being my oshi, Meguro 🖤✨️show more

Let’s talk about RIR, or reps in reserve. I... felt like I could get 1 more at 4 reps, yet dug deep and got almost 3 more. If I had Dorian Yates yelling at me, I could have probably gotten 10 more. The issue with these arbitrary rules like RIR and RPE is they don’t account for the mental aspect of lifting. Hence why, since I’m obviously not as smart and awesome as “the science” community and my pro card was a fluke, and I certainly can’t read studies or even the menu at IHOP, I just go until I can’t do another full rep with decent form. Most people train like p*ssies already. Imagine trying to have someone soft as charmin guess how many reps they have left at 4 reps in. Stop overthinking it. No need to go beyond failure, but just lift the damn weight until you can’t do a good rep and then put it down. Or not, whatever. 😂show more

Terrible optics for Green Party MP Tamatha Paul who... has used a taxpayer-funded, cross-party NZ delegation to the UK Parliament, led by the Speaker-to solicit a partisan endorsement for the upcoming election. Paul has posted a social media clip featuring UK Green MP Hannah Spencer, who delivers a “really, really important message”: “Up the Wahs.” Paul then clearly prompts, “Hannah has one more thing to say…” Spencer responds, “You need to vote Green,” before the Green Party logo appears — with no promoter statement or authorisation. It speaks volumes that Paul felt comfortable chasing party endorsements right under the nose of delegation leader and Speaker of the House, Gerry Brownlee while on a taxpayer funded trip. How on earth is Brownlee ok with this? Paul is also well aware of the Electoral Commission rules, so the failure to include an authorisation statement is inexcusable.show more
