I might have just figured out how to integrate... Web Workers with TanStack Table V9... So... multi-threaded TanStack Table coming soon? This would theoretically unlock huge UI performance wins for specific large tables that use heavy client-side computations for filtering, sorting, aggregation, etc. In a normal setup, the UI can freeze for a second or two while a large filter or sort is computating, but as seen here, the UI stayed 100% interactive while sorting 1 million rows with a slower alphanumeric sorting function. I want to know if this would be useful to anyone.show more

Quite a few people clowning on me for saying... that UI will be generated on the fly. Two things: 1. You don't have to generate it all from scratch, but dynamically assemble widgets. 2. Tried chat jimmy? In a few years, we could have today's frontier intelligence at this speedshow more

We built a better alternative to json-render & A2UI... Up to 3x faster rendering & 67% fewer tokens. Far fewer broken outputs. We've been shipping Generative UI interfaces to 10,000+ developers for the past year. We know where JSON-based rendering breaks in production. So we built a new format - one that works with how models actually generate, not against it. And today we're open sourcing it: openui [dot] comshow more

I don't understand how our politicians have such disconnect... between what could be and results. Minister of Finance François-Philippe Champagne: "Bragging, Canada was the first country in the world to have an AI national strategy and Canada was the first country to have a Quantum national strategy." And yet we are not in the top 10 in either field, with single American companies have more capital invested than our whole sector worth, and some of the leading companies we did have left for the US. Bureaucrats need to understand that what requires to develop a PowerPoint presentation and industries are very different.show more

the so101 + leslider frame i've been playing with... the past few weeks wasn't just a random rig i built for fun it's what we at LiveKit built to benchmark and debug our infra (s/o livekit-portal), and today we're open-sourcing it so everyone can reproduce and share coolio results at home here is the github: i know this isn’t the first frame designed for evals, but it’s ours, and it’s open, and it’s with a LeSlider! along with this, we’ve released simulations files (URDF, MJCF, and USD), as well as a sample RL env in MJLab for pick-and-place tasks we want people to have fun, being close to the frontier as much as possible, and we want people to know it shouldn’t take thousands of dollars in equipment to reproduce some of the most amazing results the academic world has to offer personally, I’m going to deploy sim2real and real2sim2real pipelines on this soon, for fun, so look out for that.show more

🚨 Omar Berrada has spoken about Manchester United's transfer... plans. 🎙️ Reporter: "Omar, are Manchester United looking at different options in the market?" 🗣️ Omar Berrada: "Yes. We're assessing every option available to us. We have players we've been following for a long time, but we also have to look at other possibilities. The important thing is that we don't become too focused on one player and forget about the other options in the market. Manchester United have to be consistent with the way we recruit. If another player fits what we need and the deal makes more sense, we'll look at it. The priority is simple... Find the right players for Manchester United, not just the players we've been chasing."show more

We used Rork plans feature, and it literally gave us the whole setup for the app, Then it built the app for us and one shorted the api integrations In a 2 days we had the app submitted to the AppStore The app is currently in review. Apple has rejected it 7 times For the dumbest reasons. But it’s looking like this time it will get approved. Will be posting updates on thisshow more

LinkedIn wrapped is here! And it's made with Rive... Stoked to be invited by BUCK to join the project. I wasn’t actually animating the thing though I had more of a technical assignment and we had quite a few things to solve. There is 9 chapters total (but not everyone sees all the chapters or even all the slides in given chapter) in 3 languages, the data being sent to Rive is raw so we had to cover for many variables: - A progress bar aware what chapters are included for given user - A progress bar checking what slides are included for and logging their duration time to progress bar - A custom slider solution (the default Rive slider is not enough if you turn contents on and off) - A State Machine logic aware of chapters or slides skipped from playback - A custom slider behavior for when there is auto-slide (instant) and tap-slide (slide animation) - A custom text-length tracker for to dynamically change font-size for long strings - A custom screen ratio tracker to scale down the UI for small screens - Handling dynamically handle big numbers (10,000 becomes 10k etc.) - Handling translations (3 languages) - Super complex behaviour for when if some data-point is missing we don’t leave a blank space, but it is being replaced with other data point instead (so some user se A-B-C, but some will see only B-C as if A never existed without leaving blank space) - Rage click prevention Amazing experience, thanks for having me. People at BUCK are absolutely goated, kudos to everyone who was helping me and to everyone who was actually doing the animations, stunning. Is it the biggest Rive exposure yet? Maybe Riveshow more
