Long Announcement (but there's a discount code at the... end, it's worth it🤣) Back in 2016, when my son Aaron (then just 11 years old) invented the numeric damage counters and we decided to put it in production, our mission was clear: make tracking damage in the Pokémon TCG fast, easy, and accurate. By displaying exact values, players could simply add the numbers without second-guessing. This approach proved so effective that Pokémon themselves adopted this system for their Worlds dice at the 2018 Nashville Championships (read: they totally copied us 😆). And the rest is history💪 Now with this new menace Grimmsnarl ex — where damage constantly shifts turn by turn — clear and quick damage tracking has never been more essential. - In the first photo, Munki is at 10 damage and Grimmsnarl ex at 70 — all displayed using just one numeric counter each. And that's the beauty of numeric damage counter, just 1 damage counter 95% of the time takes care of what you need to display - In the video, you’ll see how easy it is to update damage. No need to pick it up and fumbling for the next number — Just identify the next number you need and rotate to it. -Still prefer D6 dice? That’s cool — some players do out of habit. But once damage hits 60+, you'll need two dice to show the total, whereas numeric counters still get it done with one. (If you're sticking with D6, check out our Drilled D6s — hands down the most stunning dice you'll find. Totally unbiased opinion, of course 😆) - Compare our design with the Pokémon ETB counters in the last photo — by design our counters increase in size with the number for quick visual clarity. Plus, since each one is precisely machined from billet aluminum, they stand firm and resist rolling, even when the cards are being moved. Still on the fence? No worries — we’ve got two great reasons to try them: 🔸 Use code marnie18 for 18% off your entire order when you include any damage counter set. 🔸 And enjoy a 30-day, no-questions-asked, money-back guarantee. If you don’t love them, just send them back. Clearer play. Cleaner board. Smarter counters. 👉 What are you waiting for?show more

"My arms aren't growing no matter how hard I... train them." No matter how hard. Yes. That will be it. Because clearly the missing ingredient is effort. Twenty sets was not enough, the four angles were not enough, the drop set at the end was not enough, and the answer is presumably a fifth angle and a whole additional evening. What your arms actually get in a normal week: - Heavy tension from every row, chin and pulldown - Heavy tension from every press, dip and close-grip - Twenty isolation sets piled on top of that - All of it at the end, when the weight has to be light - All of it at length, where damage is highest - A drop set, because they are stubborn - Four days of soreness - One training exposure, seven days later Biceps and triceps are the most damage-sensitive tissue in the building. Two small muscles with almost nothing there to absorb the work. Damage is not a growth signal. It is a repair bill, and repair spends the exact recovery you were hoping to build with. So no, they are not growing no matter how hard you train them. They are not growing because of how hard you train them. What they need instead: - One or two hard sets - Early in the session, while you can still load them properly - Twice a week - Add weight when you can Two of those sets are all the direct arm work I do. The bloke on his eleventh set of pushdowns has been at that machine since I walked in.show more

🚨 NOW: President Trump announces that the left’s CRIMINALLY-caused... algae has been REMOVED from the Lincoln Reflecting Pool Now EVEN MORE damage has to be repaired at our monuments. PRISON! “They cut the lower surface of a very expensive and strong waterproof padding, in the color of American Flag Blue, and put their hands underneath the surface, and ripped it. Likewise, they cut and butchered a 350 foot long strip, with many 1 and 2 foot individual cuts, creating great damage to this beautiful piece of art that was, last week, 100% free of leaks, and any of the other problems it has had since its building in 1922.” “It never worked properly until last week and, right after July 4th, when we will drain the water to treat the damage caused by these “animals,” it will again be in perfect shape.” “In the meantime, it is working well, the criminally made algae is gone, and the grass, which was destroyed, is being replaced shortly.” Margo Martinshow more

Due to overwhelming high demand, a number of orders... from our first batch have unfortunately been moved to the second batch, which is now 90% ordered! Our manufacturers are hard at work to keep up with strong demand and we estimate that the second batch will now be sent the latter part of June. As part of this second batch we will update you by email with Fedex tracking numbers so you can see in real time where the mining rig is in the system. We apologize to those affected by this production demand, but rest assured us and the manufacturers are working hard to clear the backlog. Thank you for your patience and support!show more

✨ Made a new mini feature on Photo AI:... [ Grab from 3d model ] So the problem is we're at that stage in time (typical for AI) where image-to-3d models are not good enough but are fun to play with, but we know they'll be good enough in 1-2 years With [ Make 3d model ] you already can turn any Photo AI pic into a 3d model but it still looks hyper clunky and deformed, but it works! One cool idea I had to make that more useful and made now: Let people make a 3d model then change the view of the it with the 3d viewer, then press [ o ] and it grabs a frame of the 3d That image you can then [ Remix ] (img2img), and it becomes a real photo again and that in turn you can then turn into a video again with [ Make video ] So that essentially gives you a fully freeform camera position control to take photos with One thing I need to fix is the background/skybox, I kinda need to take the original photo and remove the person and just get the background for the 3d model viewer, in this case it should be white, but it's a start!show more

The jab has a use for basically any style... you wanna enforce. Van is a boxer puncher, he wants fighters to either stay in place for his combinations or throw back to counter. The jab works many jobs there, it's a safe long range scoring tool that slowly chips away at fighters not willing to engage, making the likelihood of something being eventually thrown back at you bigger by every connection. It also controls the pace of the fight, if you're using the jab to draw attacks you're dictating the pace and controlling the initiative, this translates in easier counters. And if they just defend, you can follow up in combination according to their reactions.show more

One of the followers sent this video in of... him giving it to the Commi’s in Bootle. There is a known theory that the reason we have all this is because of Russia/Qatar/Iran are spending billions on bot accounts pushing all this on the internet. They also fund activists to push this on our streets and university campuses. Knowing the divide and damage it causes to society. They also push Palestine protests which is why everyone is up in arms about Palestine but no other genocides happening right now. Not a peep out of them. The people who stand at hotels with refugees welcome signs. Most of them are paid to do so. They are literally carrying out the dirty work for countries that want to bring us down. And they have the cheek to call normal everyday people who just want to live in peace the “divisive” ones. We will never live in a peaceful society while these people exist. Even if we do free Palestine. They will just move onto something else to divide our society. For them the revolution never ends.show more

China is smart. China learned from the US's successes,... using only the best parts. It's our turn. We should be learning from China. China's economy is growing three times faster than that of the USA. China leads in almost all areas of science, and has the best infrastructure the world has ever seen. The number one priority of China is tell help their people become more prosperous, especially the least well off. Is there still work to be done. Hell yeah. But there difference is that they are trying and we are not. I've been to hundreds of Chinese villages, for more than a decade, and people are becoming better off each year. They call it 'Socialism with Chinese Characteristics.' We don't need to replicate their system. But we should be learning from it. For those ignoring it, you are hurting America. Pretending China's model isn't successful is preventing the US from improving and learning. The China-Haters should be ashamed of the damage that they are doing to the West. Instead of slander and Sinophobia, we need to be learning from the successes of other nations and their peoples.show more

Being sore all the time is not a badge.... It means: - Your volume is too high - Your recovery is in deficit - Your next session is compromised - Your nervous system is still cleaning up the last one - Your growth is being throttled by accumulated damage Soreness is a sign you did something. It is not a sign you did the right thing. A trained muscle in a sensible programme should rarely be sore at all. The first few weeks of a new stimulus, yes. After that, your body adapts. The soreness fades. The growth carries on without it. People treat this as a problem to solve. They add drop sets. They add finishers. They chase the burn. They want that next-day ache back because the ache feels like proof. It is not proof. It is damage your body now has to repair before it can build anything new. The lifters making the most progress walk out of the gym feeling worked but not wrecked. They train the same muscle again 72 hours later because they can. The sore-every-day brigade train it again in a week and call it advanced programming. It's just bad arithmetic.show more

When we established a no-encampment zone in this corner... of San Jose, neighbors couldn’t understand why the city was able to keep the entire neighborhood clear — except for the most dangerous spot: along the railway. For months, hundreds of residents living in a mobile home park just beyond the fence still dealt with the impacts of unsheltered homelessness. Dogs barked at all hours, kids were jeered at and forced to stay indoors, and blight spread through the area. This community navigated layers of bureaucracy, worked through complicated jurisdictional boundaries, and demanded better. This week, my office partnered with Union Pacific to deliver it. It shouldn’t be this hard (or take this long!) to fix something like this. We need to take a hard look at the ways our systems put up unnecessary and frustrating barriers to action, and dismantle them. Because the bottom line is: people don’t care whose land it is. They want results — and we need to deliver them, faster. These new boulders will help keep the railway clear — for the safety of people still living unsheltered, and for the quality of life of the surrounding neighborhood. Thank you to UP for leaning in, and to the neighbors who advocated for better.show more

This family was at the beach. They got there... early and set up in front so they could watch their kids play in the water. Then this family shows up and they set up in front of them. 🤯 There was no one to the left or the right of them. Clear as could be. 😳 A lot of people said they should have moved closer so no one could set up in front of them. But many others said if the beach was open and there was no one to the left or right of them then that is just plain rude. I always leave a little sand in front in case my kids want to play or we usually throw our boogie boards in front. I’d have been irritated and would have asked them to move. 💯 What do you think? Was it rude of the second family to take their view away and set up in front of them or is it the first family’s fault for not setting up closer so no one could be in front of them?show more

being inside rift herald is like being inside a... woman first you have to channel your energy. can't just rush it. takes time to get in you wait for the right moment. timing matters you find the opening. position yourself correctly you go in. commit fully. no hesitation then you charge full speed. straight at the tower. nothing else matters. just you and the target little grubs come flying out. defenses gone. the enemy watching helplessly as you take everything the whole thing lasts like 12 seconds but the damage is done and if you mess up the timing? if you go in wrong? if you miss the window? you're just standing there. awkward. accomplishing nothing. apologizing. but here's the best part if you do it right. if you break down their defense. you get to go back inside again that's right. one good performance and you get another chance. round two most players one and done it. blow herald on a random tower and walk away but the smart players? they know if you take the first tower you can channel again. get back inside. do it all over that's how you get maximum value Study the Saskio wayshow more

This is one of the nicest things about China:... whatever happens to you, you can always count on people's solidarity. This is what just happened to us. We wanted to park our RV right next to Hulun lake for the night but stupidly managed to get it stuck in the sand. Impossible to drive out anymore 😓 Immediately, and I mean immediately, people around us started to pitch in to help. Luckily it so happened that a group of ex-PLA soldiers were having a get-together barbecue 100 meters away from us. They got told about our issue, stopped their barbecue and came to help. They told us "don't worry, no matter what we'll get you out, it's just a matter of time". Before we know it, one of the guys takes the wheel of the RV and the others start pushing. In 5 minutes, job done! RV unstuck and the guys get back to their barbecue. The Chinese are often depicted as cold and distant but my consistent experience is that they're one of the kindest people in the world, always ready to help a fellow human in need!show more

Been building this little brand for almost three years... now with Grant Eastey and Ejay ODonnell. That’s my wife and I packing our first orders in our tiny garage that couldn’t even fit a car. But in the end the garage found its purpose. There’s something special about just going for it. We just wanted to make some hats for dads that we didn’t see out there for ourselves. Everything else was dad bod humor, mowing the lawn, ugly sneakers, etc. Being a dad is so much more than that. Being a dad really isn’t any of that funny stuff. That’s just the weird brand social media has given us. We’re about to cross half a million hats sold soon and still see ourselves in that tiny garage. Just trying things. Seeing what happens and doubling down if it works. The brand has become so much more than we ever imagined. I don’t enjoy the notion of becoming a “DTC brand”, just become a brand. Become a community and movement. You should see the notes we get from customers saying our hat helped them become better parents, our hat helped them keep trying to have children, our hat brought their kids joy when their dad passed away, our hat showed up and changed the life of someone deciding if they wanted to go on. I don’t care about the metrics. Obsession over CAC and ROAS won’t create this. Building something with meaning is so beyond any of the acronyms we see here on a regular basis. At the end of the day it’s all about trying. You just need to try. It’s as simple as that. I used to think there’s so much to risk by trying. At the end of the day it’s usually ego or fear. And two things are true. Ego decisions are solely based on your perception of what you’ll look like to others, which will never matter in the end. The second thing is fear. Fear usually only lives within YOU. Nowhere else. You make it up and decide how to act from it. Greatness is on the other side of fear. There’s no pressure over here. I was born into project buildings in Poland. “Making it” happened long before the brand started. Making it was getting out of Poland and into the US at the age of 7. On our pod yesterday Nate Lagos📈 asked me why I even stay on X when having a successful brand. The answer is simple. I personally want to give away as much free game as possible. I don’t know it all, not even close. But I want to help others break through and get their ideas into motion. Everyone is charging for courses and slack access. I get it, but it’s not how I care to move. There’s plenty to go around for everyone and if I can help then I’d love to. Gate keeping is weird. Pass it on. Help others win. Looking back at my time in that tiny garage I miss it. The excitement of a new idea forming. Hand packing every order and writing notes. Not caring if it works but trying and having fun. Going for it. To this day. 95% of all creative is Canva and iPhone. Free Shopify theme. I run all marketing. No employees. Great partners. It’s beautiful. One more time. JUST GO FOR IT.show more

Happy Tuesday! So far we're quite happy with where... Mel and Warwick landed on the 6 cost side, so for TFT13.4 it's time to get Viktor there. Right now a zero item Viktor is providing far too much power and utility, while an itemized Viktor doesn't feel like its different enough or worth the investment. Even 2* Viktor is the worst of the 2* 6 costs. So let's change that! Viktor will no longer shred and sunder, and the % HP damage part of his spell is going down significantly. However in exchange, the damage is going up a decent amount. An itemless Viktor will do around the same amount of damage as before, but now giving him items will feel much better! This should get Viktor in line with the other 6 costs. And while we were at it, we had to fix what is probably the most annoying issue...the 50/50. Now if both players have a Viktor and neither is interrupted, instead of it being an awkward coin flip, they will now both properly cast and stun everything. Huzzah! (See video) Ok that's it for today's update. Hope you have a great day! Take it easy :)show more

The Australian government does not deserve our trust, or... our respect. Today, Minister Penny Wong sat back in her chair grappling for words, desperately looking for the right lie to tell. It is worse than dishonest - it is an absolute lack of care. Penny Wong came to this country when she was 8 years old. She came to a country that afforded her the ability to become who she is, and she is now doing her part to destroy it. Back in the 70’s, when she came, Australia was a fair-minded place and a great place to be. Yet here she is... Here in Australia. Undermining our country and lying to our faces. Because she can’t tell the truth. Because if she did, it would destroy any semblance of care for Australia tied to her old party’s Labor brand. It would say the quiet part out loud. The truth. The truth that the Albanese government is more interested in the fortunes of the ISIS brides, women who chose to leave this country to go and fight against our people, than those of us that can’t find or afford a place to live here at home. I am tired of being told how to think by people that completely lack morals and couldn’t care less. People that are elected and paid to operate in the national interest but always put their twisted ethics and back pockets ahead of our nation and our people. I don’t know when Labor stopped caring about Australian workers or worse, when they started hating Australia, but they have and they do. The absolute lack of opposition, the lack of authentic choice has pushed us into a place where these absolute traitors to the interests of the people who pay them - goes entirely unchecked. We are careening out of control, unchecked migration, an energy grid that is just about to collapse, no industry to speak of, and no good reason to start or maintain a business in this place. It happened fast, but those of us who pay our taxes and take risks to make Australia a better place, are being undermined and white-anted by our politicians. The people we are forced to trust, and must pretend to respect, because they have the force of law on their side. Not because they are any good at their jobs. Not because they have earned our affection. No. Simply because they are in charge and there is little to nothing that can be done about it. It is becoming apparent that the two party system has outlived its useful life. Too much corruption, too many words too carefully chosen in a pantomime between to political forces that don’t really want to change anything. They just want to have their go, to have their turn to jam their grubby hands into the till. Surely with this major and catastrophic failure by the so-called Honourable Minister Senator Wong, the people will be able to see through the veil and into the absolute and irresponsible lack of care at the heart of this deceitful Labor government. They lie about everything, and they can, because they don’t have an opposition worthy of the title. I am growing more confident by the day that the only solution to our woes is a new political force, a fresh, Australia first force, that will act in the national interest and put all these corrupt and useless used-car salesmen red and blue in the dustbin of history. It can’t come soon enough. Time is short. I just want Australia back.show more

People still want soreness to mean something. You wake... two days after a session barely able to sit down, and a voice at the back of your mind says good, that one's going to grow. It isn't. Soreness is the receipt for damage you haven't finished repairing. While the body patches torn tissue, it isn't building new muscle on top. The ache marks the days the work is paused. A sore muscle is a weaker one too. Force production drops while it's tender, so the next session runs at a discount, lighter loads, poorer stimulus. And the swelling you read as size? Fluid. It does nothing for growth and drains away in days. If you're sore all the time, that isn't a badge. It's a message. Drop some volume and put a few more rest days in. The muscle grows on the days you can walk.show more

one of my favorite ways to use claude code... skills right now - combining remotion with claude-in-chrome for motion video creation. the workflow is addictive. the clip you see here was produced with minimal prompting effort let me know if you would like me to write a full break down of this process. you describe to claude code what you want, claude code writes the remotion components, opens the remotion studio (via browser) with claude-in-chrome, sees the actual rendered output, and iterates on it in real time. need the arrows pointing to the center of the bubbles instead of the edge? just say it. need the layout shifted to the center? say it. claude sees the preview, adjusts the code, re-renders. then when you're happy you tell claude code to render the final video. but skills are what make this possible. remotion knowledge + browser automation + the taste to iterate visually. no copy pasting screenshots back and forth. no "can you try moving it 10px to the right" over chat. it just looks and fixes. this is the kind of workflow that makes you realize how much further claude code can go beyond just writing code in a terminal. i didn't touch any code while working on the clip you see if you haven't tried combining skills together like this - start experimenting. the skills combos is where the magic is at.show more
