I just spent roughly 15 hours on this navigation... component so you don’t have to. and just dropped into the vault 🎉 one thing i really like about this one is the morphing motion, but also something people often overlook: accessibility. it’s fully responsive, keyboard accessible, and built so everyone can actually use it. also, no dependencies. Just vanilla HTML, CSS and JavaScript. you can test and play around with it, link in the comments ↓show more

Alrighty, the time has come to give away frostin-ui... components for free Here's + I had originally hoped to build a product around these components, but i moved to new york and got too busy with elevenlabs and now they've just been sitting dormant on my local I'll be releasing sandboxes showcasing each component Some of the components are still a bit raw so don't expect a fully fleshed out library, but there's a lot of useful abstractions in here that i've carried with me from project to project for years Sandbox in 🧵👇show more

3/ Notebooks: With Web + Work + Pages, you... can ideate with AI and collaborate with other people. It has entirely changed my workflow. And now with Notebooks, I can organize all of my heterogeneous data for a project, whether it’s Pages, docs, websites, team meetings – and Copilot will ground itself just on that content. And this might be the best part: I can turn it all into a new modality like an audio overview. For example, I can collect all the latest things I’m reading about agents and agent frameworks, and then I can listen to it.show more

You don’t realize how much of yourself you put... into a program until it’s time to leave. When I joined Tarpon, there really wasn’t much in place. I had to supplement the lack of equipment with my own gear. Even while taking my personal equipment with me now, I was still able to donate over 40 high-end wooden lockers, around 40 locker room and field chairs, more than 25 metal lockers, a new batting cage net, dugout fans, new bullpen lights, a new front toss protective screen, lounge couches for the locker room, extra protective screens, uniforms, gear—and much more. The baseball, basketball and girls volleyball and girls basketball all got locker rooms and upgraded equipment because of my efforts. It’s safe to say I left my mark on the program. The next person stepping in will find much more than I did when I started. I wish them all the best. I’ll be honest—I wasn’t sure if the staff would let me retrieve my equipment, and there was a bit of back and forth. But in the end, it worked out, and I appreciate that. After everything I put in and sacrificed for the program, it meant a lot to be able to get my things. Thank you.show more

Building a personal knowledge base for my agents is... increasingly where I spend my time these days. Like Andrej Karpathy, I also use Obsidian for my MD vaults. What's different in my approach is that I curate research papers on a daily basis and have actually tuned a Skill for months to find high-signal, relevant papers. I was reviewing and curating papers manually for some time, but now it's all automated as it has gotten so good at capturing what I consider the best of the best. There are so many papers these days, so this is a big deal. You all get to benefit from that with the papers I feature in my timeline and on DAIR.AI. The papers are indexed using tobi lutke qmd cli tool (all of it in markdown files along with useful metadata). So good for semantic search and surfacing insights, unlike anything out there. I am a visual person, so I then started to experiment with how to leverage this personal knowledge base of research papers inside my new interactive artifact generator (mcp tools inside my agent orchestrator system). The result is what you see in the clip. 100s of papers with all sorts of insights visualized. I keep track of research papers daily, so believe me when I tell you that this system is absolutely insane at surfacing insights. This is the result of months of tinkering on how to index research and leverage agent automations for wikification and robust documentation. But this is just the beginning. The visual artifact (which is interactive too) can be changed dynamically as I please. I can prompt my agent to throw any data at it. I can add different views to the data. Different interactions. I feel like this is the most personalized research system I have ever built and used, and it's not even close. The knowledge that the agents are able to surface from this basic setup is already extremely useful as I experiment with new agentic engineering concepts. I feel like this knowledge layer and the higher-level ones I am working on will allow me to maximize other automation tools like autoresearch. The research is only as good as the research questions. And the research questions are only as good as the insights the agents have access to. Where I am spending time now is on how to make this more actionable. I am obsessed about the search problem here. The automations, autoresearch, ralph research loop (I built one months ago) are easier to build but are only as good as what you feed them. Work in progress. More updates soon. Back to building.show more

The new look of Android 16 👀👇 You will... see some satisfyingly springy animation and a more interactive haptic feedback when doing things like: ✅ Dismissing a notification ✅ Closing an app in the recent apps menu ✅ Adjusting the volume level Also, they've enhanced the dynamic colour themes, responsive components, typography for better customisability. You can also customise the Quick Settings more freely, as you can add more actions there. Also, there's a new Live Updates feature similar to Apple's Live Activities or Samsung's Live Notifications. The Sabotaging Practice of Over Supply and Sameness in... the NFT Space. The current zeitgeist of the NFT space is that the same artists are doing the same kind of work five times a year, with project after project leaving a trail of disappointment and discontent among collectors and all of us watching in disbelief as huge resources are extracted from the space over work that feels like it could be left as an "artist study." I understand that you can do what you want with your money as collectors, but we are killing the whole space with this incestuous practice. No artist is that prolific to be able to do 5 collections of 100+ pieces each every year and actually deliver innovation and some kind of creative evolution. Of course, they can pretend play that the work has something new, but there is no precedent nor proof that that has ever happened in the speed that it happens in the NFT space. Again, people are free to through away their resources on whatever they want but with this way of doing things, we more and more are going to start seeing the consequences. Oh! There are consequences? Yes. Maybe unintended, but there are. Let's see. Let's start with the loss of belief in the NFT space as somewhere where emerging artists can come and find support for their experiments. Why even bother to bring experiments, innovation, and new ways to think of art on the blockchain if the same people have all the collectors hypnotized with their magical flutes? Why even try to come to a space where taking risks and challenging the status quo (the mission of art!!!) is overlooked? This makes the NFT space a social club and not a space for art. I guess it is fine, but IMO it is a recipe for disaster. New collectors stay away because the art will slowly but surely become stale and un-challenging. Why even bother to come and see what is happening here if you can't, as a collector, see new weird and up-and-coming artists? The amount of noise emitted by the same artists doing the same art over and over, drowns out any new voices. Again. A recipe for disaster. The NFT space is becoming a space of disappointment and doubt. We think that collections going to zero one after the other, over and over, is not damaging? I feel we are kidding ourselves. Disappointment piles up, and again, the people who will hurt are the emerging artists, the new blood, the ones who are willing to risk the most and, in return, put fire in this cold space of sameness. I love this space—don't get me wrong—it has changed my life, and I believe it has a ton of potential, but things need to change for it to become a beacon of light in art. But we need to support new voices. We need to support new ideas. The challenge is huge. I hope to contribute all I can to this change. I hope more and more see how exciting it is to go out and try to discover what else is out there and move this space forward. But again, I understand the leaps of faith needed, but if there is a space that is based on that, it's the NFT space...so there is hope. We will see. 📺by Boldtronshow more

Happy New Year’s Eve 🥂🎉 Grateful for you who... has supported me over the last year and you who still believes in me. Your support means more than I can put into words, but a simple thank you can go a long way … THANK YOU! ❤️ I see you, even if I don’t always have the time to respond to your wonderful comments on my posts. You’re amazing! ❤️ Wishing you a year of health, wealth and the kind of happiness that truly matters. Happy New Year 2024 🤗🥰😘💋 2023 has been a troubled year for me, but also one with positive changes and lessons learned. I know most of you don’t care about my troubles, so I won’t bore you with that. Living in the past is not the solution anyway, so I prefer to focus on the present and future. I don’t expect 2024 to take away all my troubles at midnight today. But I’m going into 2024 with hope, confidence and determination. If I go down, at least I will have tried my best. 2024 will be a year with lots of changes, setting boundaries, focus and finding my true self. Some of you will not like those changes, mostly the ones that are not even reading this, but I know I will be left with the people that like me for who I am. 2024 will be great! 👍 Do you have new year resolutions?show more

(Yes i know the movement is exaggerated, its just... to show the motion, it also doeant move like jello when in vr) -Left is before, Right is after- Ok wall of text time for the nerds Literally everything is the same on both sides except the position of 1 bone (made sure that even after adjusting, the collider would still be in the same spot) The reason for this change is because she wanted to be able to clap her ass in vr, and last time i did this all i did was add a toggle for a hidden bone that moved, and its angle would trigger the sound. Which was because that with my previous position, the cheeks could never really meet in the middle when in motion unless you just pushed them together with your hands, and i wanted to just have the sound actually be triggered by them colliding with each other This is also the first time ive used endbones to help drive the movement, so now thanks to that and all my previous experimenting with squishing as well, I can now get bones to move exactly how i want them to move when in natural motion. And i know a lot of people are gonna ask me to teach them how or explain my thought process but i literally just go off feeling lmao. Like, i just kinda visualize in my head how i want the motion to look, and then i just kinda know where to put everything, so im not even sure how to even start explaining rip. I have the things that artist want where they can just make the shit in their head exactly how they envisioned it lol I have a few more ideas i want to try, so we'll see if theyre good enough to get a tweet lol Thank you for coming to my ted talkshow more
