Mom here: Sam has been having a little trouble... with his back legs. Nothing new, just more dramatic lately. His back legs gave out trying to go up a flight of stairs - which is new. So we sat on the floor together and shared blueberries. Calling the vet to get him in for his Ketamine and Librela shot which always seem to help. Growing old is part of life, we will care for him just as he cared for me for so many years. Video: Sam lying on a tile floor being fed blueberries.show more

POV: You thought you were getting ice cream… but... the Turkish ice cream guy had other plans 😂🍦 Created with Seedance 2.5 on BudgetPixel AI PROMPT : CHARACTER: A young woman wearing a cute, stylish amusement-park outfit with a clearly visible Mickey Mouse ears headband. Keep the headband consistent throughout the entire video. She is excited, playful, and expressive. A cheerful Turkish ice cream vendor stands behind a traditional Turkish ice cream stall, holding a long metal ice cream paddle. 0–3 SEC — ORDER Start with a cinematic wide shot of the colorful amusement park, then smoothly move toward the Turkish ice cream stall. The girl approaches the counter, smiling excitedly. Her Mickey Mouse ears headband is clearly visible. She points toward the ice cream. The vendor prepares a cone with a scoop of ice cream and extends it toward her. 3–6 SEC — THE FIRST TEASE Cut to a medium shot. The girl eagerly reaches for the cone. Just as she is about to grab it, the vendor smoothly pulls the ice cream away with the long paddle. She looks at him in surprise. He smiles mischievously and offers it again. 6–9 SEC — MORE TEASING She reaches again. The vendor smoothly moves the cone from left to right, then slightly upward, always just out of reach. The girl follows the cone, laughing and becoming increasingly determined. Keep the interaction fluid, realistic, and playful, with natural body movement and timing. 9–11 SEC — THE NOSE TRICK The vendor finally brings the ice cream toward her. She confidently leans forward, expecting to receive it. Instead, he gently places a small dab of ice cream on the tip of her nose. Close-up on her shocked expression. She pauses, looks cross-eyed toward the ice cream on her nose, then looks back at the vendor with a playful annoyed expression. 11–15 SEC — SHE WINS Before the vendor can tease her again, she quickly grabs the cone from the paddle. She successfully gets the ice cream. The vendor laughs and raises his hands in playful defeat. She proudly holds up the cone, smiles toward the camera, wipes the ice cream from her nose, and takes a happy bite. CINEMATOGRAPHY: Photorealistic live-action, premium cinematic quality, warm golden-hour lighting, natural skin texture, realistic facial expressions, shallow depth of field, soft background bokeh, subtle anamorphic lens characteristics, natural motion blur, smooth gimbal movement, cinematic push-ins and tracking shots, realistic amusement-park atmosphere. IMPORTANT: Keep the Mickey Mouse ears headband clearly visible and consistent throughout the scene. Maintain consistent faces, wardrobe, hairstyle, ice cream cone, vendor paddle, and environment. All movements must be smooth and physically realistic. No exaggerated cartoon movement, no 3D animation, no jerky motion, no teleporting, no object duplication, and no unnatural hand movements.show more

🚨🇺🇸 GROK GETS READY TO TAKE OVER THE FUTURE... OF CINEMA Grok just leveled up: give it a photo, and it spits out a full-blown video clip, moving, speaking, and somehow getting the vibe exactly right. It doesn’t just move faces; it writes brand new dialogue and makes the characters say it out loud with nothing to betray it's not an original scene. Grok made the original Doctor Who yell about time travel like it was a lost scene from the 1960s. Tony Soprano? He sounded just like himself, cracking a line about pasta in his classic New Jersey tone. Even comedians from the '70s can be brought back with the right accent and style. The real twist? Elon says we’ll soon be able to generate full TV episodes on command. You pick the plot. You cast the stars. You rewrite the ending if you don’t like it. If Hollywood needed another reason to hate Elon, it's certainly going to get it. Source: Telegraphshow more

🐥: I suppose to the members, I’ll always be... the baby of the group. 🗣️: Which member of ENHYPEN seems the most like a baby? 🐈: Hmm… wouldn’t it be our maknae, Ni-ki? Ni-ki is the one who acts the most like a baby, and he’s really cute. 🗣️: What part of Ni-ki is the cutest? 🐈: When he gets excited, the way he becomes happy and enthusiastic is really adorable. 🐧: Ni-ki is still a child. Seriously, Ni-ki is such a pure soul… 😭Every time I see him enjoying himself and getting excited with the same happiness and innocence of a child, I can’t help but cry and remember his hyungs’ words over and over again. To them, he will always be their little one, their baby, that child they watched grow up and become the person he is today. You only have to look at the happiness, tenderness, and admiration with which his hyungs watched him while he was hitting the piñata… the way they looked at him always says absolutely everything. 🥹🤍 “Ni-ki is still a child, and he is ENHYPEN’s little one.” #니키 #NI_KI #ニキshow more

This type of goal makes coaches cream their pants.... Look at this set face off play for the game winner winner earls on main chili chicken dinner. Let’s break it down: 👇 #1 starts with a face off win. Low to high. #2 D to D (spread the defense out) and find Scheifele who rolled off his check at the dot and found space on a wheel route behind the net to find open ice on the other side of the zone. (Dot width). Aka Get lost in space. Create confusion. #3 Morrissey distributes the puck back down to MS who then corrals the pill and surveys his options while getting his toe caps back down ice towards the net, at worst presenting as a shooting option himself. #4 And the key to this whole play? Offense away from the puck. Kyle Connor recognizes time and space and gets available for a one timer by putting himself in a shooting position leaving the slot and fanning out. Lastly, The NHL is all about finding the 2 on 1. Finding the one timer. This was poetry in motion and lost coverage from #Stlblues that cost them the game. - People’s breakdownshow more

So let’s talk about ILÉ IYÁN NG , an... amazing local startup founded by Chef Sanni an amazing guy who poured his life’s sweat into building a local brand into a household name. His first outlet in Lekki 1 became a local destination and a must visit by many who were curious to try his pounded yam delicacies. Fast forward a year later, investors came in to help scale his brand, an error I often caution close friends to avoid. The mainland location, now called Ile Iya by whatever whatever received a bulk of the new investment with the new partners overseeing its operations. Sad to say not too long after this joint venture, Sanni almost lost his business and as it appears, the partners tried converting the brand to theirs. I have asked Sanni to fight back and any Ile-Iyan with the same likeness is no longer under Sanni’s enterprise. It’s unfair to see enterpreneurs build brands with their two hands and then suffer a need less hostile take over. Many of my friends will be approached and have already taken influencing gigs with the impostors, let me declare civil war. If you are offered that influencing gig, I go drive come your house come follow you quarrel. Money is not EVERYTHING. Please support Chef Sanni and patronize Ile-Iyan lekki phase 1. When it comes to new siblings the gulf between... expectations and reality can be pretty stark. The reality is that newborns are often significantly less “fun” than billed to their toddler and preschool-aged siblings. Instead of an instant playmate and best friend, newborns require a great deal of parental care, energy, and attention. They mostly eat and sleep, which can be a bit of a letdown. I just love this new big brother, shared to IG by _jennapierce. He’s so enthusiastic… and ready for his newborn sibling to wake up and interact - even trying out the whole “got your nose” prank to get his attention (without avail). Rest assured, that time will come, little buddy! Parents can help to ease the transition by teaching siblings about newborn care and establishing realistic expectations from the get go. (“He’ll be so much fun to play with when he gets a little older, but at first he’s going to be very tiny and sleepy. We’ll need to be very gentle and you can help teach him how to talk! He won’t be ready to talk back at first, but he’s going to be listening very carefully.”) What a sweet moment to capture on video. These two are going to be best of friends.show more

"This was filmed last Wednesday afternoon at Riverside Veterinary... Clinic in Indianapolis, Indiana. The officer is Sergeant Paul Greer. He's 41 years old. Fourteen-year veteran of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. The dog is Bruno. A ten-year-old German Shepherd who served eight years as Paul's K9 partner before a joint condition ended his working career two years ago. When Bruno retired from active duty, Paul adopted him immediately. Brought him home. Bruno spent his retirement on Paul's couch, on Paul's bed, in the passenger seat of Paul's personal truck. The transition from working partner to household companion was seamless. Bruno had always been Paul's dog. The badge and the vest were just part of the job. Over the past several months, Bruno's condition had declined steadily. The joint condition spread. He had difficulty getting up. Stopped eating regularly. Paul had been managing Bruno's comfort with guidance from Dr. Angela Reese at Riverside for months. Last Tuesday evening, Bruno stopped getting up entirely. Paul called Dr. Reese that night. Wednesday afternoon, Paul drove Bruno to Riverside. He carried Bruno in from the truck himself. Wouldn't let the techs take him. Paul's partner, Officer Dana Choi, came with him. She filmed quietly on her phone from the corner of the room. She told us afterward that she asked Paul's permission before she started recording. He nodded. Paul sat on the exam table with Bruno cradled across his lap and chest. Bruno's head rested against Paul's shoulder. His eyes were half-open. His breathing was slow and easy. Paul bowed his head and pressed his face into Bruno's fur. Bruno lay still for a long moment. Then slowly — carefully — he raised both front paws. One at a time. And wrapped them around Paul's shoulders. And held on. Paul made a sound that Dana said she will never forget. Dr. Reese, who was standing nearby preparing, went completely still. Her assistant took a step back. Nobody moved. Dana told us: 'Bruno could barely lift his head that morning. But he lifted his paws and he held Paul. In that moment, with everything he had left, he held him. I think he was saying thank you. I think he was saying goodb"show more

In July 2014, Lars Mittank, a 28-year-old from Germany... went on a vacation with his five of friends to Varna, Bulgaria. The week went by really fast," said Paul Rohmann, one of Mittank’s friends. However, the day before the group was scheduled to fly back home, Lars got in a fight with other German nationals at a bar. The fight stemmed from a disagreement over football. Lars was absent for most of the evening but reappeared at his hotel the next morning, recounting to his friends that he had been assaulted by a group of four men, resulting in injuries to his jaw and a ruptured eardrum. Afterwards, Lars visited a doctor who recommended against flying due to his injury. Additionally, the doctor prescribed an antibiotic for him. Despite his friends' desire to stay with him, he insisted he could manage alone. He encouraged them to stick to the initial travel schedule and fly home on July 7, which they did. Lars checked out of the hotel with his friends and then checked into a new hotel. But this is where things turn really strange. The day following his friends' departure, Lars displayed odd and paranoid behavior. From his hotel, he contacted his mother, Sandra Mittank, speaking in hushed tones, expressing fears that individuals were attempting to harm or rob him. He also urged her to cancel his credit cards. The CCTV in the hotel captured him pacing up and down the halls, looking out windows, and hiding in an elevator. Around 1 am, he departed from the hotel and came back approximately an hour later. His whereabouts during this time remain unknown. In the morning, he once again called his mother, telling her that the people pursuing him were getting closer. Lars arrived at Varna Airport on July 8, 2014, the day he intended to board his flight back to Germany. He sought advice from the airport doctor, Dr. Kosta Kostov, who later characterized his demeanor as "nervous and erratic." According to Kostov, he told Mittank that he was fine and could return home. Lars also expressed concerns about the medication he was taking. Shortly after, a construction worker entered the office, causing Lars to exclaim, "I don't want to die here. I have to get out of here." He abruptly fled the office, abandoning his luggage containing his wallet, cell phone, and passport. These final moments of Lars Mittank can be observed in the CCTV footage provided below. Upon exiting the airport, he can be observed in the footage jogging away from the airport, scaling a fence, and bolting into a meadow. Following this, he completely disappeared.show more

The moisture question always comes up when I post... pics of my indoor pools on my new builds. Step by step below on how I control it. We create a room where moisture can’t escape into other areas of the home while also having a mechanical system in place to pull the moisture out of the air so mildew/mold don’t ever develop in the pool room itself. In the STR space, investors are trying to stand out. Pools rent. Indoor pools rent even better. You can swim in the winter or summer. 1) Pool is always built on lowest floor inside (generally basement structure) 2) Concrete block wall for basement with very little wood frame 3) Densglass (kind of like a moisture resistant drywall) attached to concrete block 4) Special stucco just like you see on exterior of homes sprayed onto Densglass. The stucco is dyed to color of my choice. 5) Industrial grade dehumidifier (I use Santa Fe or Watchdog Brand). The humidity pulled from air is pumped back into the pool system near the mechanical room or outside. 6) Mini split for the pool room. Main floor HVAC covers the sleeping rooms, bathroom of basement and is always separated from pool room. You don’t want chlorinated air running through a main HVAC system. I look at having to replace the minisplit & dehumidifier about every 4 to 5 yrs because of the chlorinated air that goes through them. 7) Exhaust Fan leading to exterior which also pulls humid air out of the room as a supplemental support for the dehumidifier. When overhead lights are turned on, we have it so the exhaust fan kicks on as well. That’s it. We create a “bubble”, where no moisture gets into the other areas of home and the humid air gets pulled from the pool room.show more

Amidst the accusations and misconceptions that I string slapped... myself on purpose to “sell” something that was a complete joke, I actually did have the chance to hit the range! 😂🏹 And you know what? It was an absolute blast, just like always. This marked my inaugural lesson with a compound bow, and I’ve got to say, I’m hooked! The difference from a recurve bow was striking. It seemed to be a lot more forgiving when it came to getting consistently good shots and tight groupings. If I ever decide to take the plunge into bowhunting, the compound would definitely be my weapon of choice for accuracy, a crucial element in hunting. It also made me appreciate the level of skill required to excel with a recurve bow. There are fewer bells and whistles to help with accuracy, which means you really need to hone your skill. Rest assured, if I ever embark on a bowhunting journey, it will be after extensive practice and mastery of the sport. 🦌🌿 Using my new Hoyt Eclipse of course! 😉show more

C Easton Carmichael (Oklahoma Baseball) is one of the... top college catchers in this year's Draft. Started from the get-go as a Freshman and hit .306/.346/.482 with 18 XBH and 48 RBIs. Proceeded to enjoy an outstanding Sophomore campaign to the tune of a .366/.406/.563 slash line with 31 XBH, 64 RBIs and 12 SB. Carmichael was then an All-Star and All-League selection in the Cape League after hitting .299/.372/.496 with 10 2B, 5 HR and 23 RBIs across 36 games. Prototypical catcher's frame at 6'1" and 200-lbs with strength throughout. Slightly crouched stance in the box with a high handset and the bat held horizontally above his back shoulder. Hands drift a little bit in his load, leg lift leads into a normal stride. Does a nice job of getting into his back hip. Average bat speed. Carmichael has an aggressive approach and digs into the box ready to hit. He uses the entire field and has a tick above-average bat-to-ball skills. Has shown the ability to drive the baseball into either gap. Could stand to tighten up his swing decisions a bit; chased at a 35% clip and was particularly susceptible to secondaries down and away. Present barrel skills. Would say his hit tool is a 50 right now, though it's probably closer to a 55. It's more extra-base hit and gap-to-gap power than it is HR power for Carmichael right now, but he has shown he can generate quality contact. Posted a Max EV of 109.5 during the spring and 104.2 on the Cape. If he can pull the ball in the air more (had an Air Pull% of just 20.8 in '24), it could lead to an increase in power production. 50 raw, it plays more like 45 in-game. It's been encouraging to see the progress Carmichael has made defensively. Has gotten better at corralling balls in the dirt and his transfers have gotten quicker. Best part of Carmichael's defensive skillset is his receiving. Soft and quiet, consistently works down to up and has a knack for stealing strikes. Doesn't stab at the baseball. Average arm strength, continuing to shore up his footwork will only help as it pertains to controlling the running game and delivering accurate throws down to bases. A nice cherry on top to Carmichael's profile is that he's far from a clogger on the bases. By no means a burner, but he'll pick his spots to steal a bag. Carmichael has an intriguing toolset and profiles as a 2nd-4th round pick this July. (📽️: Oklahoma Baseball)show more

Thirteen years later, Glen “Bub” Doherty’s story still speaks.... Glen grew up in Winchester, Massachusetts, the youngest of three. A restless kid who always wanted to climb higher, ski faster, and push further. Friends called him “Bub” a name that carried more warmth than any rank. He was a skier, surfer, climber, and pilot. If it involved grit and adventure, Glen lived it. He could spend a day on the mountain and a night around the fire making people laugh, always lifting others up. In 1995 he earned the trident of a Navy SEAL, serving as a sniper, medic, and brother in Iraq, Afghanistan, and beyond. He left the Navy in 2005 but not the mission, continuing to serve with the CIA in dangerous places. Libya was supposed to be his last rotation. He stayed because protecting others was his core. Off duty he co-authored The 21st Century Sniper, built homes, played guitar, and was always ready to help a friend. On September 11, 2012, Glen was part of the quick-reaction force that flew from Tripoli into Benghazi. Mortars struck the annex. He ran toward the danger and fought beside his brother Tyrone “Rone” Woods. Both gave their lives. Thirty-two Americans survived because men like Glen stood their ground. His parents Bernard and Barbara, his siblings Greg and Kate carry his legacy. Friends honored him with a paddle-out at Swami’s Beach and with “Glen’s Run” at Snowbird. The Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation continues his work by helping veterans build new lives. Glen’s story is not just about how he died but how he lived adventurous, selfless, and fully alive. He showed us how to squeeze every ounce of life out of the time we’re given and to give ourselves for others without hesitation.show more

I had a zoom call this morning with one... of my students & we literally changed his move in 1 swing Oliver is a very smart cookie. He can change a movement pretty damn quickly, so It's always nice when all I need to do is tell him to do X & he can perform it... makes me look good 😂 He tends to get the club a little across the line with deep arms... From there he pulls the arms down behind him & as a result, the club gets stuck behind the body So I wanted him too "feel" more laid off, in a bid to get the club more down the line. This will allow the club to fall back down in front of him as he rotates in the downswing He currently plays off an 8hcp... he swings it way too good to bee off 8, so we ended up working on his weakness (wedge play) in the last 15mins 🙂 If you think you would benefit from UNLIMITED coaching each month + a zoom call to do a live lesson, talk practice, or talk about anything, DM me & we can chat about coaching options for you 👊show more

When you thought she was getting ready for romance…... 😏❤️ But she was actually getting you ready for laundry duty. Made with Seedance 2.5 on ImagineArt Prompt: Create a 15-second hilarious animated sequence in the exact same warm, elegant 3D cartoon/Pixar-like visual style as the provided storyboard. Maintain the same husband and wife character designs, luxurious cream-colored bedroom and laundry room, cinematic warm lighting, expressive exaggerated facial reactions, and smooth comedic timing. Scene 1 — 0–3 sec: The husband is relaxing in bed reading a book. Suddenly, he notices his wife's bra and top being thrown out from another room onto the floor. He slowly lowers his book and stares at them with wide, suspicious eyes. In his imagination, this clearly looks like his wife is preparing for a romantic moment with someone inside. Scene 2 — 3–6 sec: The husband immediately jumps up excitedly and rushes to the mirror. He sprays mouth freshener, applies perfume, fixes his hair, and gives himself a confident, seductive smile. He is convinced something romantic is happening and that he should quickly join his wife. Scene 3 — 6–9 sec: Looking handsome and confident, he slowly and dramatically opens the door, expecting a romantic surprise. His expression suddenly changes from excitement to complete confusion. Scene 4 — 9–12 sec: Reveal the truth: his wife is simply doing laundry. She is pulling freshly washed clothes from the washing machine one by one and tossing them onto the floor because she needs help carrying them. She looks at her husband standing there, fully dressed up and smelling of perfume. Scene 5 — 12–15 sec: The wife immediately takes advantage of him, smiling innocently as she stacks a huge pile of wet clothes into his arms. The husband becomes completely trapped under the mountain of laundry. His romantic excitement disappears instantly, and he walks away slowly with a sad, moody, defeated expression while the wife happily continues doing laundry. Comedy style: exaggerated facial expressions, fast misunderstanding setup, dramatic reveal, visual humor, smooth character animation, cinematic framing, warm luxury interior, same character consistency and visual style throughout.show more
