Happy Halloween! 🎃💀👻 In 1986 the first hobby grade... RC car I ever saw and drove was the Tamiya Hornet ( Yes, the RC car in Toy Story is modeled after the Hornet) Ever since that day my pure enjoyment of the RC hobby has been a big part of my life. With that said, I just had to retro fit this Ghostbusters trap to one of my crawler builds like in the new movie. And remember, Don't Cross The Streams!show more

Two weeks apart. Same person. Different choices. This isn’t... a “fell off” post. This isn’t shame. This is reality. This is part of the story. After the show, I went from 168.4 lbs to 182.2 lbs. And at this point… it’s a choice. I’ve realized something about myself: When I hit a peak, I tend to sabotage it so I have something to chase again. But the truth is.. Greatness is built by staying disciplined after the high, not restarting from the low. And as someone who’s lived both extremes more times than I can count, I’ll say this with full honesty: The pain of discipline is ALWAYS better than the pain of regret. So here’s the good news… I get to use this moment as fuel. I get to document the entire climb back and show you exactly how I’m going to do it using the same systems I teach in G7 Coaching and the G7 Fitness App. No waiting for New Year’s. No “Diet Starts Tomorrow.” We start today. It’s Game Time. 💪🏾😤show more

🎈Here’s how I’m stepping into my new personal year,... because today is My Birthday!🎈 Despite all the challenges, I’ve been incredibly fortunate this year to continue to learn, grow, reflect, and remain determined. Living in a country at war, I realized a while back that the battles we fight aren’t just external, but internal as well. 👸🏼And so I know there are big decisions ahead—both personally and professionally. Change is inevitable, and I’ll do my best to embrace it with dignity & strength. 🧸Thank you for standing with me, for standing with Ukraine, and for believing in a better tomorrow: I see you, I hear you, and I am deeply grateful. With love, Maria 🖤show more

Two weeks ago, at 4 am, I gave Astra... (my GPT agent) a ridiculously simple prompt: the components I had lying around in the workshop, a Raspberry Pi, an SO-101 arm, and "have fun, you can use Fusion, make me a prototype of a robot that can carry this". The mission wasn't even defined yet. Tracks, TPU, 3D printing and litter collection came in the next 45 minutes, in a handful of short messages. That's how MOSS started. Back then my rule was "start from zero every time, with what we learned", because modifying, modifying, modifying didn't make it better. Two weeks later the project has traction, on the floor and on X, and the way I prompt has flipped. I modify small things, precisely: I inspect the CAD in Fusion, give one clear instruction, go back to the CAD, and queue the next input without pressing send. Codex takes them one after the other. It's not a flow state every day. But after a day of solving problems, an hour of this quietly brings the builder energy back. Some evenings I feel like I'm just building a toy for grown-ups, and I'm fine with that. How do you guys prompt for CAD?show more

I’m a human 3D artist. My Attack on Titan... fan-made short film is a project I started in 2022 and released in June 2024. I redesigned all of the Titans myself. I didn’t use any AI, and I never made any money from this short film. To be honest, I originally didn’t want to talk about this. In order to discuss it, I actually had to subscribe to X Premium. Throughout 2025 and 2026, I started seeing more and more comments like this on my YouTube channel: “Your one and a half years of work? I can make that with AI in 30 seconds.” “I can do it in one minute.” “I can do it in 90 seconds.” So I started looking into it. The first AI short film I found was actually made by modifying footage from my original film, while being presented as an AI-generated work. I felt pretty disappointed. If you think AI can make something better than what I made, then please create something better from scratch. I’ve always found it difficult to accept being mocked while my work is also being taken and reused. Since 2018, I’ve been focused on creating the things I genuinely love. I’ve done it simply because I love creating, and I’ve never made a single cent from these works. As a result, my financial situation has actually been quite difficult. For a while, I was really struggling with the thought that maybe I should have spent the past few years trying to make as much money as possible. Was trying to make a living by creating the things I love just a foolish fantasy? Then I watch Orb: On the Movements of the Earth. There’s one line in the series that really stayed with me: “Being wrong doesn’t mean it was meaningless.” So recently, I’ve slowly started to accept something. If I don’t make the things I love, I don’t think I would be happy even if I had a job. I’ll keep looking for a way forward. Whether that means working harder, finding ways to make money so I can continue making short films, or finding some other way, I still want to keep creating the things I love.show more

1 month since leaving the UK for New York... 🎉 Observations: - People here are generally more positive - Cost of living is comparable to London for the most part. I feel like it gets expensive here very quickly, however. - Public transport is ok, but the amount of crazies you encounter is a massive detractor. This week I’ve seen a woman piss [ass naked] on a platform, and a lot of drug addicts do more questionable things. I’ve seen some shit in the UK, but it’s just worse here. The gov neglects the people at the lowest part of society. - A lot of places smell here. - Food is generally good if you pay extra for non-processed stuff. That said, I had a sub from the deli, and it got the better of me 🙂↔️😂. - I love how easy it is to transport into another world. Each borough has so much to offer. - People care for self-improvement more than anywhere I’ve lived [capitalism >>>] Bottom line, I’m enjoying it here. I’m excited to meet more new people and start building businesses. Currently working on a new project I’ll talk about tomorrow. ✌️show more

They say a picture is worth a thousand words.... But for your toddler, single words can also convey a whole lot more than you might imagine. Witness this little one who uses the word “whee” (the exhilarated sound she makes going down a playground slide), to carry a whole conversation with her mom. When her mom asks if she’s having a fun day, our hero replies “whee” twice, which here loosely translate to: “Hey, you know that place the park that I love so much? The place I’m always saying whee? Well, I’m kind of disappointed that you haven’t taken me there.” Then she punctuates it with, “I sad.” Pretty amazing, right? As your child’s early language use grows, you can expect to hear a lot of telegraphic speech - one or two word sentences which are typically stripped of grammatical elements. Sentences like “up” (to signify “please pick me up”) or the request “shoe on.” While this telegraphic speech represents a major step forward in language acquisition for children, here’s an important tip: Our most supportive and constructive response as adults may be to treat these early utterances as meaningful… but then extend, rather than repeat them. In other words - rather than replying in kind with “shoe on,” reply with a fully grammatical response. “Oh, yes, if we’re going outside we do need to put your shoes on!” Doing so consistently will provide the types of linguistic models your child needs to continue advancing to more and more sophisticated and grammatical language. Whee! This little playground fan was shared to IG by indyah.show more

New York and Chicago are two big hubs in... the eastern US. Distance: 800 miles or 1300km roughly. Same as Delhi - Mumbai in India. There are 3 ways to travel. You can fly. You can drive. Or you can take a train. Fastest train is Amtrak lakeshore which takes ~19hrs. Driving takes 14hrs but you need to rest as well. I love trains. So I decided to take Amtrak. Their sleeper class. Took a roomette. First of all - American trains run on standard gauge. Which is smaller than Indian broad gauge. The compartments are smaller. And the trains are less comfortable. They shake way more. Second - Americans really don’t understand passenger trains. This train left late and then sat on a random station for 30mins. It’s already running late and usually reaches 2-3 even 5hrs delayed. And this is supposed to be a premium train. Culprit ? Freight. Americans don’t have dedicated fright tracks. The train btw is full. Which means people do want to travel on it. All sorts of people. Old, young. Business travellers. Only 2 coaches are sleeper - rest are coach (chaircars). Then the train reaches Albani and has to merge with another train from boston. Whole process takes 30-45mins. Can you believe a major train just sitting off a closed platform, cutting off its engines and adding more bogies in the middle of its journey in India ? The train had power supply for 30 mins cause it’s powered by diesel engines. Which are cut off. Diesel engine. Yes. The entire route except parts of NYC is non electric. It’s all old school diesel. It slowly chugs after and stops everywhere it can. Like an old Indian passenger train. The cabin is decent as it should be for a $700 price. The food is microwaved prepackaged stuff - ie very bad. There’s a coach attendant but he doesn’t care. I’ve travelled extensively in Rajdhani - and I can tell you it’s high luxury compared to this. And for 1/10th the price. The food, the cabin - all are superior. The reason I’m bringing this up is not to say Indians know it better. Not at all. But that even the most advanced cultures get it wrong. Even the most sorted out people - the one most advanced in tech - somehow don’t know how to run cross-country trains at scale. And this is not even a cross country trip. Hardly 1/4th of it. So what did they get wrong ? They stopped building. Upgrading. Improving. They do a few things right. Like making good highways. Take that learning. They do many things wrong. Like this train. They’ve stopped building. No dedicated freight tracks. No magnificent new stations. No high speed rail. The only lesson to learn is to not make that mistake. Build. And keep building. There’s no substitute to that. Keep building. Keep upgrading. Keep improving.show more

Michael Garrett - NC Senate's Viral Statement on the... Bad Bunny Halftime Show “I watched #BadBunny deliver the most American halftime show I have ever seen. Then I came home and watched it again. And I am not okay. In the best possible way. He sang every single word in Spanish. Every. Single. Word. He danced through sugarcane fields built on a football field in California while the President of the United States sat somewhere calling it “disgusting.” Lady Gaga came out and did the salsa. Ricky Martin lit up the night. A couple got married on the field. He handed his Grammy, the one he won eight days ago for Album of the Year, to a little boy who looked up at him the way every child looks up when they dare to believe the world has a place for them. And then this man, this son of a truck driver and a schoolteacher from Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, stood on the biggest stage on the planet and said “God bless America.” And then he started naming them. Chile. Argentina. Uruguay. Paraguay. Bolivia. Peru. Ecuador. Brazil. Colombia. Venezuela. Panama. Costa Rica. Nicaragua. Honduras. El Salvador. Guatemala. Mexico. Cuba. Dominican Republic. Jamaica. The United States. Canada. And then, his voice breaking with everything he carries, “Mi patria, Puerto Rico. Seguimos aquí.” My homeland, Puerto Rico. We are still here. The flags came. Every single one of them. Carried across that field by dancers and musicians while the jumbotron lit up with the only words that mattered: “THE ONLY THING MORE POWERFUL THAN HATE IS LOVE.” I teared up. I’m not ashamed to say it. I sat on my couch and I wept because THAT is the America I believe in. That is the American story, not the sanitized, gated, English-only version that small and frightened people try to sell us. The REAL one. The messy, beautiful, multilingual, multicolored, courageous one. The one that has always been built by hands that speak every language and pray in every tongue and come from every corner of this hemisphere. That is the America I want Jack and Charlotte to know. That when the moment came, when the whole world was watching, a Puerto Rican kid who grew up to become the most-streamed artist on Earth stood in front of 100 million people, sang in his mother’s language, blessed every nation in the Americas, and spiked a football that read “Together, we are America” into the ground. Not with anger. With joy. With love so big it made hate look exactly as small as it is. And what did the President do? He called it “absolutely terrible.” He said “nobody understands a word this guy is saying.” He called it “a slap in the face to our Country.” The leader of the free world watched a celebration of love, culture, and everything this hemisphere has given to the world, and all he could see was something foreign. Something threatening. Something disgusting. Let that sink into your bones. The man who is supposed to represent all of us looked at the flags of our neighbors, heard the language of 500 million #Americans across this hemisphere, and felt attacked. That’s not strength. That’s not patriotism. That is poverty of the soul. Here’s what I want to say to everyone who posted about that show tonight, who shared it proudly, who turned away from Bad Bunny’s celebration because it was in Spanish and the flags weren’t only red, white, and blue: Your children will see those posts. Your grandchildren will find them. The internet doesn’t forget. And one day, when the history of this moment is written, when our kids and their kids look back at 2026 the way we look back at the people who stood on the wrong side of every bridge and every march and every moment that mattered, they will know exactly where you stood. They will see who chose Kid Rock over a hemisphere of flags. They will see who called love “disgusting.” And they will carry that knowledge the way all of us carry the knowledge of what our ancestors did when they were tested. The only thing more powerful than hate is love”show more
