Porting over some HLSL point cloud shaders over to... spark, a gaussian splatting renderer for Three.js. Some of the effects look a bit messy with 3DGS, but fun to play around with! Also using their new depth of field here which looks really nice. Demo coming soon!show more

Unfortunately, I am not having fun with Path of... Exile 1 anymore. I was incredibly excited to play 3.26, but in-game, I'm just not feeling the magic like I did for 5+ years of playing it. No desire to login, which is shocking for me to hear myself say. Super happy for everyone who is having fun, expansion looks like a banger. A mix of very little free time and not enjoying the gameplay = farewell to the league/any PoE1 content on the channel. Have fun exiles! An Object is Worth 64x64 Pixels: Generating 3D Object... via Image Diffusion discuss: We introduce a new approach for generating realistic 3D models with UV maps through a representation termed "Object Images." This approach encapsulates surface geometry, appearance, and patch structures within a 64x64 pixel image, effectively converting complex 3D shapes into a more manageable 2D format. By doing so, we address the challenges of both geometric and semantic irregularity inherent in polygonal meshes. This method allows us to use image generation models, such as Diffusion Transformers, directly for 3D shape generation. Evaluated on the ABO dataset, our generated shapes with patch structures achieve point cloud FID comparable to recent 3D generative models, while naturally supporting PBR material generation.show more

Cookie and I were so excited for our annual... Magic of Christmas event! We treated 125 local kids to a Target shopping spree where they each got to spend $225 on whatever they wanted! The kids had so much fun and filled their shopping carts with toys, clothes, books and their favorite things. After shopping, the kids enjoyed a delicious breakfast with chicken and waffles from Wings N Waffles and some great fun with the Hoops Bus!!
