SplitPaneKit This is something I've wanted to componentize for... a while. We've seen this pattern appear in a few apps now, I even use it at Abode. It has a couple "gotcha" moments with performance and optimisation while animating separate or child views with the drag and translation of the split views, handling breakpoints etc, I thought I'd put it into a nice package. I actually made quite a few optimisations from how I handle this with Abode in this package. So might need to implement it over there😅 As before, right now its UIKit only, but SwiftUI host will likely come over the next few days as I make improvements and final changes to the initial API from feedback. - Draggable split-pane interface - Custom breakpoints or built-in presets - Scroll view integration - drag from content or handle - Coordinated animations with pan-effecting views - UIKitshow more

Perplexity Computer just opened a PR on my repo,... starting with a simple task... improving SEO What stands out is how it executes. Exploring with Gemini, then switching to Opus when it’s time to actually write code (I haven’t seen it use Codex or Grok) I’m going to ramp up the complexity from here. So far, it’s delivered on every task. I have a few more in progress that I’ll be sharing over the next few days.show more

its me, blank - i'm starting a new company... called S7RX and im going to do what i've never done before - sharing it all here you probably know me as the founder of openpurpose but in short - i'm a designer turned founder - i started my studio 17 years ago called 3drops in stockholm which i rebranded to openpurpose a couple of years ago and grew it to over 70 members globally working with leading tech companies in us besides running the agency, over the past decade i took on a few personal projects that meant something to me - like leading the digitization of the global visa system for over 65 countries and working with a few enterprise founders to launch daring projects to future proof their organizations along the way i experimented with dozens of ideas which some turned into ventures and a few became companies with their own dedicated teams but for as long as i can remember i only had one dream - to launch a brand that earns like a tech company but feels like a lifestyle brand so now at the age of 36, i'm doing just that and calling it S7RX my first product is launching next week and with that we are officially starting this new journey so follow on IG to see the stories and say hi : ) this will be differentshow more

I will regret this, but I need to let... it out. After dragrace I have become extra hard on myself and being my biggest critic. In no way do I think that I am THE dragqueen, but I had hoped that by now I could’ve had a more stable agenda due to the effort I had put in. I made sure that I was at every booking with the most positivity, that I was nice to work with, that I looked the part, that I would host, interact with the audience. Every time I had great feedback from the audience, organisers, owners. I invested the last savings I had to make sure that people would see newness. I didn’t go on holidays, so I could spend it on drag so the audience would look at something new, but yet here I am with an empty schedule. It is at this point making me doubt so much more about what I am doing and I am unsure that I can continue like this. This message is by no means a cry for bookings (most of you are from a different country anyway). I just needed to vent or maybe I am missing something idk. More and more do I start to believe that my drag just isn’t for Belgiumshow more

Scroll-triggered animations are coming to Chrome early next year... (and we've been really excited about this one for a bit!) 🥳 Unlike scroll-driven animations (already in Chrome & Safari), this API introduces "timeline-trigger" and "animation-trigger" to start an animation within a specific range, rather than relying on the scroller completion *as* the animation timeline. I got nerd-sniped and wanted to try it out so I built this shape morphing demo to show how you can apply multiple animations to the same element over with different triggers. PRETTY COOL IMO! Josh was nice enough to support me up Daddy... Issues in a day. I did it a few weeks ago with Chris Weidner as my first climb in the Valley for the season; it was nice to come back to it feeling more tuned up and to climb it in a casual 7.5h. And really nice not to haul… much more relaxing! And the views never get old.show more

Before you count my usdt gain; watch my margin.... Made 22000 from just 300 It is easy to print this money with 1000-2000 but it requires art to print it with just three figures. Also about the leverage. I think only few can handle it gracefully; and I am one of them!show more

HTML Artifacts are a big part of how I... work with agents now. Artifacts can be more than just static files. When combined with agents, they can take action or help you take action. This unlocks all kinds of interesting ways to work with agents. This is clearly the future. Check out this writing and scheduler artifact I built in a few minutes. It uses a bit of HTML and JS. All the data is in markdown (Obsidian vaults), so the agent can access and modify it at any time. No DB needed. No sophisticated functionalities. The agent decides all that for me based on the skills, context, and memory it has access to. The best part about this simple stack is that all the important information stays with me. This has allowed me to build a recursive self-improving system and automations that can better tap into coding agents like Codex or Claude Code. I could have paid or built an entire app for scheduling posts, and there are so many of them out there. But I don't need to. I've realized a simple artifact does the job. And the simplicity of it is actually an advantage. Very little maintenance for very high returns on personalization, time, and efficiency. The other benefit of this is that I can add features as I please. That level of personalization feels magical, and we should all be pursuing more of it. All of this just keeps compounding. Of course, this example is just about writing. But I have similar artifacts for research, design, experimentation, evaluation, and so much more. And no, I didn't actually publish the post example I shared in the clip. It was just for demonstration purposes. I actually spend more time than this when writing together with agents. Lastly, having built my own agent orchestrator tool has made me realize that simplifying the tool stack is a superpower. If you are curious about how all this works, I will do a live session next week:show more

By Thursday, we will be announcing Phase IV of... the Health Insurance for vulnerable citizens in Kaduna. The figure takes us to over 1, 000 in partnership with KACHMA. I missed being in the office. In the next few weeks, I will state my position politically. I owe the public that. I always state whatever I do through my handles. I was with my father for a few hours and he is fine with me running. As God is my witness, and on behalf of the excellent people Kaduna North, I will be running for office in 2027, if alive. We will still focus on the job we were elected to do, and there are a few leaders, Northern Statesmen and fathers that I have to speak to. My position is peculiar. But I have tried to handle with honour and dignity. My wife and I have decided this is the right course. And my people are with me, on social media and offline. I have never feared an election for a day. But it is the right of anyone to try. Respect that right knowing my record speaks for me. Thank you.show more

Something is definitely not right somewhere. I have spent... the last few days documenting this. Nigerian TikTok is filled with japa ads. Swipe 3 times and there’s a sponsored japa ad. These ads are generally disguised as “chat with Oyibo and earn $$” or “complete simple task and earn $$” but when you click the “Apply Now” link, it takes you to a landing page promising immigration to some of these funny countries. These ads are targeted at really vulnerable Nigerians & definitely coordinated by outsiders. I think all the ads are coming from a central source. They use Ai in some of these videos with people that look like Nigerians and even have them in different Nigerian languages. I attach some of the videos I have been able to screen record in the past few days. Anyone can see for themselves.show more

I built a clone of the Yeezy store with... Next.js. This was a fun challenge — the site has some smooth animations and feels very fast. But it was bothering me that I couldn't use the browser back button. Can we do better? So I rebuilt the site with v0 and Motion. Here's how it works: 1. When you click on a product, Motion is able to animate the original position of the product in the grid, to the zoomed in product detail page. 2. During this transition, we also shallow update the URL with the `/p/slug` route for the page. 3. If you press the back button in the navbar, or use the browser back button, or press escape — all options will take you back to the main product listing page. 4. If you reload the page while looking at a product, or someone sends you a link to a specific product, it still works! This is the best parts of a SPA and MPA mixed together. In the future, I can make this even better with View Transitions (I wasn't able to get the product animation just right, but if you can I'd love to see it!). I also took some creative liberties from the original design. The whole 1/2/3 size thing, where you needed to click the "?" to see SM/MD/LG was strange, so I just went directly to those sizes. Similarly, I prefered the more traditional style sheet/modal with the background color change, versus the full screen takeover. If you wanted to actually hook this up to Shopify now, you can swap the cart implementation with Next.js Commerce, which has all the APIs you need + optimistic writes 🔥 Should I make a video walking through the code?show more

During periods of fasting, many people enjoy eating dates... as a gentle and natural source of energy. 🌿 But something that is often overlooked is the importance of preparing them properly before eating. Dates are a dried fruit, and along their journey—from harvesting to packaging—they may collect dust or small particles on their surface. For this reason, I like to follow a simple and mindful habit before consuming them: 1️⃣ Soak the dates in water with a little baking soda for about 10–15 minutes 2️⃣ Rinse them well with clean water 3️⃣ Allow them to dry naturally There is also another small habit I find very helpful: I never eat a date without opening it first. I gently split it, remove the pit, and take a moment to check the inside. It only takes a few seconds, but it brings a sense of care, awareness, and peace of mind—something that aligns beautifully with the spirit of fasting. 🌿show more

This is what “rich” looks like I wake up... everyday feeling like I hit the lotto. Not when I’m up on a trade or when I drive one of my cars, but in quiet moments like this. Just a few years ago, I was facing prison time. Broke. Delivering food on DoorDash to scrape together a few hundred bucks to fund my trading account. We shared a one-bedroom apartment with $500 to our name after bills. The journey from there to here wasn’t overnight. It wasn’t glamorous. It was a grind that broke me down before it built me up…but it made me the man I am today. Yes, I have the cars and watches now that people associate with success. But I can tell you with absolute certainty…they don’t compare to this. Building a life with someone who believed in you when nobody else did and winning the game of life Trading changed my financial situation, but gratitude changed my life. If you’re reading this and still in the grind, just keep pushing. I know it may seem like it will never work, but it will. You have to believe that. You have to be thankful for every little thing because without the bad there is no good. Without the bad you become weak. The most important thing is to remember what you’re working towards and make sure there is real meaning behind it. There’s nothing wrong with cars or a lavish lifestyle… But the only way you’ll have the hunger to get it and sustain it long term… Is by having a higher purpose that you constantly remind yourself of.show more
