FSD recognizes the RAV4 needs to merge, but is... pinned by the semi, so it tries to slow down to let the RAV4 jump in, but the RAV4 is being a baby about it and not taking the hint. As soon as FSD has the gap it goes for the yeet. 14.2 is way better at handling these sorts of situations where human drivers get stuck in the stalemate if “you go, no you go!” Didn’t used to be the case.show more

FSD took me into the HOV lane yet again... today despite me being the only passenger in the car. This time when I yanked it back into non-HOV lane and tried to engage FSD again, it blinked red asking me to take over immediately and displayed a message on screen saying FSD aborted due to system error. Small detail, but I like how the Model Y’s... brake pedal no longer moves while in FSD. The Model Y now uses a dual master cylinder brake system. One master cylinder is connected directly to the driver’s brake pedal, and the other is controlled electronically by FSD.show more

Truly disappointed with FSD after tonight. Tesla needs to... do everything in their power to get people off factory branch software. Gets halfway through an intersection only to slam on the brakes. If I were a new Tesla owner I would never touch this tech again. This is fixable. Every single new vehicle needs to be on the latest builds to ensure they have the best experience possible.
