There are two main categories of issues: 1. Claim Failed Users may sometimes not receive assets after initiating a claim. This can happen when a user performs both a claim and transfer operation simultaneously, causing a UTXO state change that results in the claimed asset being burned. In such cases, the Faucet may display the claim as Confirmed, but the user does not actually receive the asset. In rare situations, the asset may also fail to be successfully sent by the Agent. 2. RGB Assets Become Invisible After Transfer This issue requires the user to log in with the Sender's wallet, and provide the Receiver’s xpub address along with the amount transferred between the two parties. There are two common causes: a) Consignment Issue: The Sender’s wallet shows normal status and a corresponding "sent" record, but the Receiver does not receive the asset. If the Receiver has not changed their UTXO status, the asset can typically be restored and made visible. If the UTXO status has changed, the asset may be burned and cannot be recovered. b) Pay Timeout Issue: When the Sender attempts to send the asset, the wallet may get stuck in an infinite loading state, resulting in an abnormal asset state on the Sender’s side, and the Receiver also fails to receive the asset. Strength work for Leadville 100 💪 Over the years,... I have felt judged by the research--my strength routines were limited to a few minutes at a time, while everyone was screaming at me from their Abstracts that I needed to do way more. I noticed two big problems whenever I committed to more resistance training: 1. I'd carry around soreness even after the initial adaptation window, likely corresponding to high CK levels and some background inflammation. Either way, it would reduce running economy on subsequent running training days, and every training day counts. Split squats are the ultimate offender--an exercise that I know I should be doing, but I can't without feeling like Forrest Gump after he was shot in the butt. 2. I just wouldn't do it. Oops. With lots of guessing and testing, I developed this routine, which I'd do after my easy run on Sunday (before a Monday rest day), and sometimes after my workout on Wednesday (if I felt like it): 1. Three Minute Mountain Legs, working up to 100 single-leg step-ups (I think step-ups in particular are a magic exercise for running uphill. But remember, magic is not equal to science): 2. Back squats, 2 sets of 10 (135 pounds for me, which I make look like 800 pounds in this video. The 17-year old me who played football would laugh so hard) 3. Back extensions, 2 sets of 30, engaging glutes and hamstrings 4. Single-leg calf raises, 1 set of 100 on each leg, with a 35 pound dumbbell 5. Every day, I do the 2-minute Core Snack routine 1-3 times. My core strength is one of my best attributes for ultras, and I can do the Core Snack with our toddler Leo. I also do daily band work before running (bandz a make me dance): That's it! I also foam roll and stretch daily (don't tell the researchers, but I am a tight boi and as soon as I stop stretching, I get hurt). The lesson is not to do this particular routine, but that strength training for runners can be based on individual needs. And I personally think that routines should be short and efficient for both performance (limiting breakdown) and adherence (limiting me from being a lazy little punk). Find what works for you, do it 1-2 times per week year round (on top of some daily supportive work), and don't feel the need to pursue progressive overload. It's not about getting stronger and stronger (unless you're into that sort of thing for its own sake, which I think will sacrifice some running growth). Friday was ugly. S&P 500 dumped 2.64% to 7,383.74, worst day since October, VIX up nearly 40% as the hedging machine kicked in. Everyone's asking the same thing into Sunday's open: fade it or buy it? I'm buying it - just not at 6pm ET like the dip can't get deeper. It all keys off 7350, where futures settled in GLOBEX. Two ways we open. The likely one: we gap up. Don't chase the first candle - after a 40% VIX pop you get a squeeze (S&P 500 goes up like crazy 2pm ET GLOBEX open), then a dip. Let the squeeze run, buy the first real pullback between 8pm and 3am ET. The other: we leak toward 7300 on lingering VIX hedging. Don't catch the knife - wait for it to base, a clean hold of 7300 or clear 5-minute support, then buy the rebound that usually shows late GLOBEX or 3-4am pre-market. Same plan either way: I buy the dip, not the rip. If you are bull, be smart bull. Where I want the close: 7400 is the floor, 7450 my base case, and 7500 is very much in play (though less probable than 7450) - about 2% off the GLOBEX pivot, with the Nasdaq roughly 2.5% higher (If S&P 500 hits 7500) on a chip snapback. Spent a long weekend with a group of folks... in the mountains of Switzerland. All top people in their fields: a senior position in investment banking, CFO of a bank, serial acquirers, PE investors, etc. Some of the obvious observations: 1. Everyone’s busy, grinding, working hard to get things done, to take care of their family. 2. Almost all guys work long hours, be it Friday, Saturday, or Sunday; most folks had their phones on, getting some work done at any given time. 3. Everyone’s normal people - it really comes down to having abnormal goals, desires, and the willingness to do what is necessary to accomplish all that. When you hear folks in their late 30s, 40s, and 50s building and operating roll-up companies that are doing hundreds of millions in EBITDA, in niches you do not even know exist, it’s pretty special. Shows you the importance of focus and mastering your craft. All the 72 hours we spent together was great proof that more events like this need to happen. Going from online to offline, getting out from the day-to-day. Having various short and long interactions with people in different industries... Today seemed, IMO, to be a significant statement practice... for Jacob Cowing. He grabbed one of Brock Purdy's numerous (perfect) deep passes but it goes deeper than that. Payment From Kolo💚 Denied Because I Posted GM Post... With a Photo From "sanctioned country"? I am making this public because I believe contributors deserve transparency, and fair treatment. I completed work for Kolo and expected to receive a reward of approximately $150–200. Instead, my payment was delayed for more than a month. During that time, nobody informed me of any problem, violation, investigation, or compliance concern. The issue only surfaced after I repeatedly asked why my payment had not been processed. The explanation I eventually received was that my reward would not be paid because I had allegedly visited a “sanctioned country.” For context: 🔹️I am a Croatian citizen 🔹️Croatia is not a sanctioned jurisdiction 🔹️My visit to Moscow was a short personal trip lasting only a few days 🔹️I was not there for business, politics, activism, or promotion of any government 🔹️My account contains crypto content and sometimes ordinary travel content 🔹️The only "Russia-related" content I posted consisted of few neutral city/landscape photographs for GM posts. At no point was I warned that personal travel to a particular country could result in the loss of earned rewards. At no point was I shown a written policy stating that contributors who visit certain locations, even privately and temporarily, become ineligible for payment. What makes this situation even more difficult to understand is that Kolo itself operates through an international corporate structure that includes entities in jurisdictions such as the UAE and Kazakhstan. Both countries have maintained significantly different approaches toward Russia than many Western governments and have continued various forms of economic and commercial interaction throughout the conflict. That does not mean those jurisdictions have done anything wrong. It does, however, make it difficult to understand why I can be denied payment for a short private visit and while the company itself operates through jurisdictions that maintain far more extensive relationships with Russia than an individual tourist ever could. To be clear, this is not a political statement. This is a payment dispute and a transparency issue. I completed the requested work. I waited more than a month for payment. I was never informed of any problem beforehand. If such a rule exists, why was it not disclosed before the work was completed? 3. Why was payment delayed for more than a month before any explanation was provided? 4. How does the company justify this standard given its own international operating structure?
