The cold front is expected to move through fairly... quickly… otherwise the rain totals shown here would be quite a bit higher. But also keep in mind much of what you see might fall just within an hour or two, which makes some roadway impact likely. #CAwx 11/4/2025show more

❄️ 2ND CALL SNOW MAP UPDATE ❄️ A few... key corrections south to account for slightly higher QPF in some model trends... I’ve made some adjustments to the snowfall map, shifting totals a bit farther south to better account for areas where the front end snowfall Sunday morning/afternoon will be higher due to increased moisture levels. This would still account for sleet and warm air intrusion around the 5,000-ft level which still may become an issue. That warm layer will cut into some late storm accumulations once the dry air is overcome. 🔹 Coastal Monmouth & Ocean Counties I now expect at least 6" in eastern Monmouth, with max potentials up to 10". This is the assumption of sleet mixing. 🔹 Long Island Included in the 6–10" range, with some mixing limiting higher totals in spots. 🔹 NYC & Northern Long Island The most common snowfall totals will be a 10–15" range which is not uniform across the entire area. Some locations will fall short due to brief mixing. 🔹 Snow Max Zone The highest potential remains over northern NJ, the Lower Hudson Valley, and southwest CT, where: • Snow ratios will be higher • Frontogenesis banding is most likely • Lift will be strongest ➡️ Snowfall max potential: up to 18" in this corridor. Bottom line: This remains a high-impact winter storm. Small changes in the mid-level temperatures will make a big difference, especially near the coast. I’ll continue fine-tuning as we get closer. Stop reversing in 2026. I still see so many... lower-ranked players reverse or fully brake when they feel awkward, which only puts them in worse positions. If you put yourself out of position, the best option is usually to drive through the play and rotate around. Rotating through gives you better vision of the field, helps you keep your momentum, and leaves you in a much better position. Here is an example of two players making this exact mistake and giving away easy goals.show more

Max: “Today I want to gain more racing experience... plus become a bit more comfortable with the car.” “Also because of the track conditions. We just drove a bit in the rain. Hopefully it will dry out a bit soon, but there can always be some wet spots and the grass is still wet.” “So you have to be a bit more careful when you go off line and overtake cars. It is good for me to experience all conditions.”show more

🚨CLOSE TO 10 INCHES OF RAIN SO FAR -... TOTALS TRENDING HIGHER - Significant Flooding Rain has already fallen across Southern California, with parts of Santa Barbara and the LA area ALREADY seeing up to 9 inches or more. 🌧️ More heavy rain is coming today, with another 4 to 8 inches possible, which will only worsen ongoing flooding issues. 🌬️ Strong winds have arrived as well, with gusts over 60 mph reported in many areas. Power outages are becoming more likely, especially with Christmas right around the corner. And keep this in mind. Today is only Wave 1 of 2. Another round of rain, wind, and heavy mountain snow arrives Christmas Day. Hang in there, California. We’re praying for you 🙏show more

Here is a 3D visualization of the coming solar... storm using model parameters from NASA's run, NOAA's run (shown below), and the coronagraph views from STEREO-A/COR2 and SOHO/LASCO. The storm is expected to hit Earth early December 9. The 3D visualization clearly shows the low inclination orientation of the solar slinky core inside the larger storm envelope. Of course, the earlier eruption that erupted to the northeast, might deflect this structure a little bit, but likely that will only make the structure move more towards the ecliptic plane, which will give us a larger chance of crossing through the solar slinky core. One nice thing about low inclination flux rope cores is that they almost ALWAYS have southward field in them at some point. So this is good news for aurora photographers-- as long as this solar storm stays true to its launch trajectory and inclination, we could see some organized southward pointed magnetic field. Considering this solar storm is fast-- that usually indicates the storm will not deviate much from its original launch trajectory! Here is the link to a static frame of the 3D frame visualization so you can fly around it yourself:show more

Maybe some coaches will chime in on this…. But... this is how I’m seeing it right now. I think you’re going to see more and more two way guys coming on the scene in college baseball. Here is why. The rosters are going down to 34 man rosters. You will be needing 2-4 guys who can eat up an inning or two and be able to produce in the field and at the plate. Those numbers may be even higher than that. Years ago when a college told you- you can two way, it typically meant we are brining you in, youll have a short leash and your most likely going to be a PO. Now it’s a legit thing. Schools will need much more versatility- If you can pitch and hit AND play multiple spots on the field. Your stock will rise this year and years beyond. It’s just a matter of can you develop both and do both safely with the load on the arm. Bobcats open on the 13th at home!!! #slammarcos #baseball #twowayplayer #beisbol #pitchershow more

🚨 An absolutely LUDICROUS amount of Snow is about... to fall out West as a TRAIN of Storms pushes onshore. ❌This comes as our West Coast brotheren have been dealing with RECORD low Snowpack, with many ski resorts forced to close parts of their mountains due to a lack of Snow. That is ALL about to change next week as an Atmospheric River delivers a near constant FEED of moisture into the West. ❄️ The heaviest Snow remains on track to fall in the Sierra Nevada, where 4 to 8 FEET or more could pile up early this week. 🏔️ Heavy Snow will also dump into the Rockies, including Colorado and Utah. Here, 1 Foot or more could fall over several days. 🌲 The Cascades will see PLENTY of Snow as well, with 1 to 2 FEET likely in the higher elevations. 🌧️ Lower elevations along the West Coast, including Seattle, could see a few Snow Flakes mix in, but little to no accumulation is expected. ✅This is FANTASTIC news for our mountain loving brotheren out West who have been DYING for Snow. It will also do wonders for the California and Rocky Mountain Snowpack, which desperately needs the boost. 👊 Enjoy the Snow, my mountain loving brotheren.show more

🎿❄️ SERIOUS Mountain Snow incoming for the Cascades and... Sierra Nevada and skiers are about to be VERY happy. Up to 8 FEET or more of snow could fall in just a few days, creating extremely dangerous travel at higher elevations, especially through mountain passes. Strong winds will make conditions even worse, with gusts possibly reaching 70 mph, leading to near-zero visibility at times. I wouldn’t be surprised if some ski resorts temporarily close due to too much snow, especially around Lake Tahoe, where the biggest totals are expected. I’ve been there before. ❄️ SNOWFALL REPORT: Week of 1/18 – 1/25 ❄️... This is a another BIG one. A HIGH IMPACT Winter Storm could develop late this upcoming week, with the potential to bring Heavy Snow and Ice to parts of the country. 🌨️ The heaviest Snow will likely fall on the north side of this storm Friday - Sunday, wherever it ultimately tracks. As we move through the week, I would not be surprised to see Winter Storm Watches and Warnings issued as it becomes more clear where this storm will setup. ❄️When it comes to exact locations and Snow totals, we are still WAY too far out to pin that down. That said, the most likely SNOW ZONE appears to be somewhere within the Tennessee and Ohio Valleys, though this will almost certainly shift as we get closer. ❄️Elsewhere, the Midwest will see a few rounds of light to moderate Snow Monday through Wednesday as a series of Alberta Clippers pass through. These should be minor systems, generally producing a few inches. ❄️ Boston, NYC, and parts of the Northeast will start the week with a healthy dose of Snow, with 4-5 inches possible by Monday morning. 🏔️ Out West, the Rocky Mountains from Colorado through Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho should pick up significant Mountain Snow, with over a foot possible in higher elevations. 🏔️The Cascades in Washington and Oregon will also see Snowfall, with a few feet possible in favored areas. ❄️The MAIN THING to remember this week: whoever gets hit by the late week Winter Storm could get A LOT of Snow, but there will also be plenty of busts nearby. That’s the nature of these storms. 👀 I’ll be watching this late week storm LIKE A HAWK 🦅and will post updated maps as details become clearer. ❄️ Get ready, my brotheren. This is shaping up to be an exciting week of weather tracking. May the odds of Snow be ever in your favorshow more

Nowadays, every girl seems to be carrying these mug-like... bottles with a straw. Wherever you look, you see the same thing in almost every girl’s hand, whether she is walking on the road, going to the gym, going to the office, or shopping. They always have this mug-like bottle in one hand. A normal person drinks water only once or twice in an hour, so what is the need to keep holding a bottle all the time? It would be much easier for girls to keep a regular water bottle in their bag. Their hands wouldn’t hurt from carrying such a bottle around all day. 3 in 4 suicides in the UK are by... men. Men are far less likely to ask for help , but more likely to suffer in silence. Bereaved fathers face significantly higher risks of PTSD, depression, and isolation. But we rarely talk about it. So I am. Grief doesn’t always look how you expect. It’s not just tears or funerals. Sometimes it’s silence. Sitting in the car for 20 minutes, unable to turn the key. Smiling through meetings when your heart feels like it’s collapsed. Waking in the night, dreaming they’re still here. But grief also lives in the everyday moments you don’t see - Seeing someone with a bald head in the supermarket and instantly reliving chemotherapy wards. Wanting to hug a stranger going through treatment and say, “I respect you. I feel for you.” Turning off adverts about cancer. Lowering the volume when the “C word” is mentioned on the radio. Avoiding social events because you just don’t have the energy to explain. As a dad, you’re taught to be strong. To hold it all together. But what if holding it together means never truly healing? Grief doesn’t make you weak. It makes you real. And sharing it might be the strongest thing you ever do. To anyone struggling whether you’ve lost someone or are supporting someone who has: You’re not alone. Please talk. Please reach out. I know every draft room celebrates every pick they... make, but Zac Taylor’s exuberant reaction to drafting WR Jermaine Burton shouldn’t be ignored phenomenal landing spot for dynasty leagues and I would target the hell out of him in keeper leagues, as he’ll be drafted much higher in 2025 after the Bengals let Tee Higgins walk (you also get some insane contingent value if something were to happen to Higgins or Chase this year)show more

⚠️ I’m not liking the way this Winter Storm... is trending for our Texas brotheren.... One aspect that isn’t being talked about enough is the combination of significant Ice Accumulations followed by days of Brutal Cold. If Texas were to receive even a fraction of the ice currently being shown, widespread power outages would become a real concern. With frigid air rushing in behind the storm, temperatures could remain at or below freezing for days, making recovery much harder. This will not be as cold as the deadly Winter Storm of 2021, but the dangerous combination of ice and prolonged cold will still be there. 🌡️ Some areas could see temperatures 30 to 40 degrees below average after the storm, which would compound impacts if outages occur. I’m not saying panic, my Texas brotheren, but this is a situation worth paying attention to and preparing for if current trends hold. 👀 I’ll be watching this LIKE A HAWK 🦅show more
