The only problem with not using your Tesla brakes... much is that almost everyone has some surface rust build up. It’s incredibly common, especially in colder climates. Tesla made it easy to remove the surface rust by adding a dedicated Brake Burnishing feature in the car’s native Service Mode. You just follow the visual guides for optimal speed and pedal pressure in order to safely remove surface rust. They make it so easy. 👌🏻show more

BREAKING: The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has... opened an audit into about 1,000 Tesla Cybercabs. NHTSA says Cybercab has no permanently attached steering wheel, brake pedal, accelerator pedal or mirrors. It will review how Tesla certified the vehicle and why Tesla determined that some federal safety standards did not apply. NHTSA is auditing a car because it has no controls for a human driver. But that is the entire point: Cybercab was designed from day one to drive itself. • Tesla Robotaxis have driven one million miles without a human driver. • The first 380,000 driverless miles had no notable safety incidents. • Tesla reported three incidents in NHTSA’s latest data. In all three, another vehicle hit a stopped Tesla Robotaxi. In these incidents, the problem was human error, not the autonomous Tesla. That is exactly what Cybercab is designed to remove from our roads.show more

I always wondered "What if I port my three.js... game to Rust? Will it improve performance?" I finally ported it to both Rust Desktop and Rust WASM (that runs on the browser) Comparing the three.js version with the Rust desktop I had a clear winner: Rust desktop. But now I took the time to port it to the web using Web Assembly (WASM) And my conclusion is... A tie! Both versions averaged 42FPS (60FPS if running one at a time) So if your goal is to ship a web game, it doesn't even matter the tech you use. (Three.js is recommended because the ecossystem is huge though) As long you optmize well (Web workers, reduce triangles, draw calls, etc) you should be good to go. But in the event you want to ship a native game to publish on Steam a system language (Rust, C++, etc) will be better for you. Now I want to port the three.js game to Desktop using Electron and see the results. I'll let you know. Btw, I'm open to new freelance projects. If you have anything for me, my DMs are open!show more

The Tesla Cybercab doesn't have ANY brake fluid. It... is the first production vehicle to have a brake-by-wire system. Electronic actuators are responsible for the clamping pressure, rather than hydraulic fluid that you see in traditional vehicles. This system improves efficiency since the brake pads can fully disengage. They can go entirely off or on. It also enables Tesla to fine-tune the braking to be as smooth as possible. PLUS, when the car is built with the unboxed process, Tesla doesn't need to run any brake lines, everything is seamless.show more

Many still misunderstand Elon and Tesla's mission Elon has... a deep concern for humanity, which is why he takes on the toughest problems He's doing it because if he doesn't, nobody will Tesla started the EV revolution... before, nobody even wanted to build EVs. Literally nobody wanted to do it Everyone treated EVs like boring golf carts It was not easy. Being first in the industry means you have to build everything from the ground up, and there is no one you can learn from Tesla got very close to bankruptcy many times... often weeks away Combustion engines had over 150 years of innovation but for EVs, it was the last 15 years that truly made the difference And look at the result: Tesla didn't just build a successful EV; the Tesla Model Y has been the best-selling car in the world for three consecutive years (2023–2025), beating every single gas vehicle on Earth Not to mention, Tesla had to build the entire charging infrastructure from scratch, creating a massive global Supercharger network just so people could drive their cars reliably Other EVs also heavily rely on this network, and Tesla is still helping the competition by opening up their chargers and open-sourcing their patents so anyone can use them for free Without Elon, the world would still be lagging in gas enginesshow more

I drove Tesla for the first time; I felt... happy like a child for the first 10 minutes, and was totally disappointed the rest of the ride The autopilot feature is not available in the EU, but even the lane-control works extremely badly Tesla didn't recognize road works and almost crushed me into a barrier Then it went completely crazy on a temporary orange lane and started wiggling around The assistant consistently missed lanes and ignored speed limit signs, so I had to disable the assistant and drive manually I drove an electric BMW i4 before, and it had a much better cruise control and assistant (it boggles my mind that BMW kicked Tesla's ass in software) With BMW, I never had to touch the gas pedal and drove the car just using cruise control and speed limit assistant You could also set a speed limit, and even if you pressed full gas, it never crossed, which was handy in a city Tesla is still an insane product, the interior and exterior design are amazing, but it feels like an app with an amazing frontend and a very poor backend (at least in the EU) Driving gave me a lot of motivation to make more $$$, and I will still probably get a Tesla, and not a BMW bz BMW is a car for boomersshow more

🇺🇸 TESLA GOES FULL DRIVERLESS: PUBLIC ROBOTAXI RIDES IN... AUSTIN WITH ZERO HUMANS Tesla launched public Robotaxi rides in Austin without a Safety Monitor in the vehicle, the first time no one but the rider sat inside. The monitor had been mandatory since the program's June launch for safety. Tesla aimed to remove it by end of 2025 but pulled it off in January. Not the whole fleet yet, just some unsupervised vehicles mixed in. Program also runs in the Bay Area with monitors. Source: Teslarati, Shahzad Parashow more

Did you know how to remove prints from the... Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack? Just use the scraper that came with your printer to gently lift the print and carefully pry it off. If it's stuck too tight, heat the plate to 50°C on the heatbed to help it come off. The surface is soft, so be careful with the scraper to avoid scratches (they won’t affect performance though). Want more tips for this plate? Check here:show more

Venus is a very dangerous planet—going there is like... playing a video game on “Hell Mode.” In the 1960s and 1970s, the Soviet Union sent robotic probes called Venera to explore it. The probes survived on the surface for less than an hour because the pressure was 90 times stronger than Earth and the temperature was hot enough to melt metal. But even in their final moments, while they were overheating and breaking apart, they still managed to take the only real photos ever captured from Venus’s surface. Photos from a place no human could ever survive.show more

There is a shape in mathematics that can hold... a finite amount of paint, yet would require an infinite amount of paint to coat its surface. It is called Gabriel’s Horn. Imagine rotating the curve y=1/x around the x-axis. The result is a long, tapering surface that stretches infinitely, like a tunnel that never ends. Here’s where the paradox appears. The volume of this shape converges—if you add up all its infinitesimal slices, the total stops growing. In other words, you can completely fill it with a finite amount of paint. But the surface area diverges. No matter how far you go along the horn, there is always more surface to cover. The outer “skin” keeps extending, demanding more paint without end. So while you could pour paint inside and fill it entirely, you would never finish painting the outside. This is not a trick, but a consequence of how infinity behaves. The radius shrinks quickly enough for the volume to remain finite, yet not fast enough to keep the surface area from growing without bound. It reveals a deeper truth: infinity does not simply mean “very large”—it means unending. And sometimes, the infinite can exist within the finite in ways that defy our intuition, even while remaining perfectly consistent in mathematics.show more

Everyone thinks the Boring Company is the odd one... out in Elon Musk's empire. Musk has said what it is for: digging the tunnels humans will live in on Mars, because the surface is lethal and you live underground. Starship delivers, Optimus digs, Tesla powers, Grok runs, Starlink connects. The empire is one machine for building a city on Mars. But one organ is missing. Every Musk company is physics and silicon. None is biology. You cannot close a life-support loop with hardware. Only living things regenerate without spare parts. He can fly you to Mars, dig your home, and run it with AI. He cannot keep you alive.show more

Alright this is starting to become a ridiculous problem.... Second time in 24 hours on V14.3.7. This isn’t a native 14.3.7 problem, it has been happening to me (though rarely) since 14.2. I’m ok with nav thinking roads are closed and re-routing. 95% of the time it does this it is wrong, but that’s beside the point. It’s the fact that it does it at the very last minute when it literally already started a turning maneuver. It is so startling and tries to whip it out of a maneuver like it’s avoiding a crash. And the worst part is that the roads it’s trying to avoid are almost never actually closed. Please fix this Tesla AIshow more

🚨 Interesting new Service Mode feature! Looks like Tesla... added a Forward Camera Cleaning workflow with the latest update. You can now: ✅ Verify the camera view (Main/Wide) ✅ Mark “Windshield clean complete” ✅ Perform a DAS Reset directly from the touchscreen This should make it easier to restore optimal camera performance after cleaning the windshield in front of the cameras. Nice addition for anyone using Autopilot or FSD. 👀show more

Did you know? This mission was born in a... bar and it was sketched on a cocktail napkin Two scientists and a Lockheed engineer sat in a Tucson bar, not far from University of Arizona campus. Their idea was rejected by NASA, TWICE for being impractical and too expensive. The spacecraft touched the asteroid surface for only "5 seconds" and collected more than enough samples using a device called, TAGSAM (Touch-and-Go Sample Acquisition Mechanism) which is an engineering marvel. But how does it work? When it contacts the asteroid surface, it releases high-pressure nitrogen gas to fluidize loose material, and capture ✨stardust ✨. Read more about it in my bog, linked below.show more

Recently Ross Gerber mentioned that it will be impossible... for Tesla to scale quickly with their Robotaxi plans because they have yet to build any infrastructure as similar to Waymo. I am willing to bet a generous amount of money that Tesla is well aware of Waymo’s infrastructure and their struggles to efficiently manage their fleet. Tesla does not have $15 billion of excess Capital to waste each year on a copycat Fleet management process. Nor would they spend it if they had an additional $100 billion in excess capital. After validating each geographical map area, Tesla will sell Robotaxis to individual buyers, it’s possible that there will be an up fitting process to enter your own Tesla into the Robotaxi fleet. Tesla will sell cybercabs to individuals and fleets that can come online anytime the owner decides. There is no alternative viable method to saturate the market. Tesla is not going to purchase 100 separate properties in Los Angeles and pay minimum wage workers to clean puke out of vehicles. It’s not going to happen. Tesla is going to take the high margin SAS profits and determine the appropriate costs per mile breakdown to make a viable business model for vehicle owners. Coming soon- The Shepherd Model by Tesla. As mentioned many times before, The process to develop a nationwide network of fleet owners and shepherds is the foundation to also handle the deployment of Optimus robots for temporary gigs, part-time work, and generally cool shit. Optimus robots will be serving food at a wedding near you in the year 2030. How do you think they will get there? Who do you think is going to own them? Who do you think is going to fix them? Who do you think is going to drop them off for service and replacement parts?show more

Most people have no idea that these photos exist... from the surface of Venus. Climate change is real. It’s happening on Venus and it’s happening on Earth. Did you know that Venus may have been habitable at one point in time? It’s known as Earth’s sister planet. Below are some of the only images ever taken from the surface of Venus. One day Earth may look similar to this. There is no argument that climate change is real. It happened on Venus and it’s constantly happening on Earth. Human interaction most definitely has some effects on the planet’s climate change, but so too do non-human factors — even to a greater degree. My hope is that, not only can humans work to slow down the process, but also one day come up with solutions to reverse it.show more

To presume that there is an inherent flaw in... the RBR Macarena wing design due to the rotation of its flap leading to Max’s issues is fundamentally flawed because Hadjar hasn’t had an issue with it yet. It’s not mental gymnastics folks…it’s engagement bait…. And it doesn’t make sense from an aerodynamic standpoint…either. 😁 Simple thought exercise. Pressure is force acting on an area. Pressure builds as air molecules crash onto an aero surface e. Force acts perpendicular to the surface and can be resolved in drag force and downforce (or lift) force components. Where is the pressure on the RBR wing just before it closes? Don’t believe me? Also my mate Balaskó Dominik did an excellent CFD simulation on his LinkedIn page showing this exactly.show more
