🚨 BREAKING: Speaker Mike Johnson just used the same... kind of rhetoric Republicans claim “incites violence” — only this time, he aimed it at Democrats. He said: “The Democrat Party truly has become the far-left, Marxist left that are running that whole operation.” If calling Trump or MAGA “fascists” is supposedly inciting violence, then what do you call it when Johnson calls Democrats “Marxists”?show more

If you think pre season is a joke then... you have no idea how difficult it is for players to stay in shape and most of this training are connected to how the team wants to play during the season. This is what the first few days in the pre season looks like and medicals like blood test, flexibility check, mobility test, VO2Max test, and the heart test to see if the heart is healthy. My personal view on pre season test is that I hated the VO2Max test and if you are not fit enough the pass the test which usually last for just 15 minutes. When I was at Vitesse Arnhem and Red star Belgrade my medicals took 3days to be completed and it was the longest I ever had. If you don't take your off season trainings seriously you will be exposed on the first day of pre season test and you will be in trouble with the coach.show more

Dear Robina Gureme Rwakoojo, you are not God. You... do not decide who lives or dies. This man survived and was given a second chance of life something your violence tried to take away. The pain you have caused in Gomba West is deep and unforgettable: families broken, lives scarred, losses that will never be erased. 💔 Be honest with yourself. A victory built on bloodshed, intimidation, and fear is not leadership, it is shame. Power taken through violence carries no legitimacy. You may cling to a seat, but you will never command respect, trust, or love. You will never win the hearts of the people of Gomba West.show more

Lady Gaga says you have committed violence by objecting... to her celebration of Dylan Mulvaney on International Women’s Day. “It's appalling to me that a post about National Women's Day by Dylan Mulvaney and me would be met with such vitriol and hatred. When I see a newspaper reporting on hatred but calling it ‘backlash’ I feel it is important to clarify that hatred is hatred, and this kind of hatred is violence. “Backlash would imply that people who love or respect Dylan and me didn't like something we did. This is not backlash. This is hatred. “But it is not surprising given the immense work that it's obvious we still have to do as a society to make room for transgender lives to be cherished and upheld by all of us. “I feel very protective in this moment, not only of Dylan, but of the trans community who continues to lead the way with their endless grace and inspiration in the face of constant degradation, intolerance, and physical, verbal, and mental violence. I certainly do not speak for this community, but I have something to say. I hope all women will come together to honor us ALL for International Women's Day, and may we do that always until THE DAY that all women are celebrated equally. That all people are celebrated equally. A day where people of all gender identities are celebrated on whichever holiday speaks to them. Because people of all gender identities and races deserve peace and dignity. “May we all come together and be loving, accepting, warm, welcoming. May we all stand and honor the complexity and challenge of trans life-that we do not know, but can seek to understand and have compassion for. I love people too much to allow hatred to be referred to as ‘backlash.’ People deserve better.”show more

It would have been amusing if it weren’t so... ironic. The man demanding the resignation of India’s Education Minister refuses to resign himself. It increasingly appears that the so-called protest march was deliberately left without leadership or direction, creating conditions in which anarchic elements could unleash violence and mayhem. When the situation spiralled out of control, many of the prominent faces associated with the protest were nowhere to be seen, some chose to get a burger, others sought engagement with the government, and still others simply disappeared from the scene. A word of caution to parents: please do not allow your children to become cannon fodder for politicians such as Arvind Kejriwal, Akhilesh Yadav, Chandrashekhar Azad, or others seeking political mileage. When protests turn violent, it is ordinary students and young people who face the consequences, not those who incited or encouraged them. Your children can get injured, traumatised, or even find themselves facing legal consequences if they become caught up in rioting or acts of vandalism. Those who mobilise them will not be there when it matters most. I am told that the Delhi Police has released those who were detained during the protest. At the same time, law enforcement agencies have a duty to act whenever public safety is threatened or public property is damaged. The events of the day revealed a simple truth: those claiming to lead the protest were conspicuously absent when the situation deteriorated. That should tell everyone who was truly expected to bear the cost.show more

Enjoy this journey while you can. There will be... a day when you don’t have anyone to throw with or lift with or play pickup racquetball and then hit the sauna after with. There will be a day when you can’t immediately roll from your workout into breakfast/lunch/dinner with 8 of your best friends. There will be a day when disputes cannot be settled with a game of madden, 2K or the show. You will realize that showing up late for work pales in comparison to the fear you had about showing up late to the field or the weight room. You can say that you’ll still train hard, keep yourself in shape, hold YOURSELF accountable. It’s easy to say when you have a goal you’re working towards with a collective group. But when you don’t have that, damn it gets hard. So enjoy it. Take advantage of the time and the energy. For some guys it happens after 6 years of pro ball. For others it happens after 4 years of college. But it will leave you. Let me repeat that: IT WILL LEAVE YOU AND IT SUCKS WHEN IT DOES.show more

People get so emotional about DNA issues that they... refuse to think reasonably. If you, on your own volition, wake up one morning, and decide to go have a DNA paternity test of "your" children, then you must also be ready for the results that will come back to you. You must have reasonable cause to go for the test. That reasonable cause means you are not 100% sure if the kids are yours and hence need a confirmation test. The DNA centers are supposed to take you through counseling before you sign on to do the test. Don't go for a test and later come and disturb us online with the results. Nobody asked for it. The situation is different if you need to have the DNA test to help you complete some documentation for traveling etc. That one you didn't request for the test out of your own volition. So I can understand you if you are surprised when the results come. Hey Lemire, here you are in 2022 nodding along... as Joe Scarborough lays out how calling someone a pedophile incites violence against that person. You and the Morning Joe crew just spent the past year insinuating without proof that Trump is a pedophile. You people did it virtually every single day. You smear for a living. I won't even get into the hundreds of other sick, demented things you guys have said about the President that have contributed to the violence against him. You spend every day trying to convince Americans that Trump is evil and a direct threat to their lives and then you have the nerve to write this crap.
