This Cow survived a snake bite. Almost healed, it’s... gone through extreme swelling of the head & neck which would lead me to believe it was bit directly on the head (probably just above the nose).. The skin will growing back nicely & through observation should completely recover within the next couple of months. We honestly didn’t expect it to survive. Common snakes in our farm are spitting cobra (Loso La Mae) & green/black mamba (Mokwepa). Still wondering which one was responsible for this.show more

OWLMAXXING for the Neck One of the most Underrated... muscle groups to train: the neck supports the brain, and being strong in it means less neck pain, better athletic movement, and a thicker neck enhancing aesthetics. I like to OWLMAXX with this simple dumbbell rotation exercise done on both sides of the head, the front of the head, and the back of the head as well. The aim of the game is to take the neck through extended ranges of motion in a controlled manner with added weight. You can also use a small weight plate if you're just starting with this exercise, or just the weight of the head itself hanging off the bench is a great place to start.show more

MY NOSE BROKE… Again. As most of you know,... I’ve broken my nose more times than I can count. The first major break was so severe the doctor told me it was one of the worst he’d ever seen. It required two surgeries just to put it back together, and I was strongly advised to never let it get hit again. I didn’t listen. It broke again. Another surgery. And honestly… it never healed the way it should’ve. Over time, the trauma caused scar tissue to take over, leaving me with a nose that didn’t function properly and didn’t look right either. So for the final time, I trusted Dr. Jay Calvert to take on what was basically a reconstruction job — reducing the scar tissue, restoring proper breathing, and rebuilding the structure from the inside out. Surgery was a success. Now it’s a full year of recovery before we see the final result. Wow. Flight 7 was probably the biggest failure of... the program yet. Loose flaps, hinge fire, engine out on boostback burn, and complete loss of ship. (Yes, booster catch was pretty amazing) Honestly, this sucks, but we have to move on. This is a hardware-rich testing campaign, and not everything will work as intended. It will definitely set the program back a couple of months, and it will be interesting to see how long the investigations last. The results of this skin laser are so good... they are hard to believe. This was a fully ablative laser which comes with about 3 weeks of hard downtime and another 3 weeks of redness. Everyone should probably get one of these when they turn 40. Incredible for acne scarring too (see the next post).show more

Critical Disengagement on FSD v14.3.7. Context: The car needed... to leave the parking garage and go to HEB. It started from the second floor, made its way to the top floor, and I believe it tried to find a path through this metal wire fence. If it had gone through that, it was a 6 story drop to the ground. In the dashcam clip, it is clearly visible. You can see the car is at 4 mph throughout the whole turn and is not slowing down. It wasn't trying to park because the route was set to leave the parking garage, not park in it. Either way, driving at 4 mph inches from the fencing is not okay. I have an interior GoPro recording of the whole situation. It actually tried to drive into the fencing again after I restarted FSD. In thread 👇 Obviously since I disengaged, we don't know what it truly would have done. Maybe it would have made contact and stopped. This was as far as I was going to take it as someone responsible for the vehicle, so I believe this disengagement was fair.
