5-axis CNC machining – but different... Most 5-axis machines... use serial kinematics: stack a rotary A-axis on top of a rotary B-axis, mount that on linear X/Y/Z stages. Each axis carries the weight of everything after it. Heavy and slow. 🤖 The Sprint Z3 uses parallel kinematics: three linear drives working together to create BOTH the Z-axis motion AND the A/B tilt simultaneously. No stacked rotary joints. No heavy tilting head carrying a motor on top of another motor. The entire barrel-shaped headstock moves as one unit vertically in the column, while the three internal drives handle the spindle positioning and orientation. ⚙️ How it works: Three linear actuators are arranged in a circle, all connected to the spindle platform through pivot arms. - Extend all three equally → spindle moves straight up/down (Z-axis) - Extend them different amounts → spindle tilts (A/B axes) It's using geometry instead of stacked rotary joints to create tilt 🤔 Why this is useful: Way less moving mass than serial kinematics. Less mass = faster accelerations, higher precision, better surface finish. For high-speed machining, dynamics matter more than workspace. Question: Is this a good design or overcomplicated❓show more

During training, you visit many of the facilities that... will eventually play a role in your mission. Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39A was one of them. This visit felt different. Standing at the base of the tower and looking up, I was reminded that this is the very place from which Neil Armstrong and his crewmates began their journey to the Moon. The facility has evolved over the decades and has been modernized for a new era of spaceflight, but it still carries the weight of its history. You can feel it. Then there is the elevator. Inside, there are only two buttons: Earth and Space. A simple design choice, perhaps, but one that feels remarkably profound when launch day finally arrives. What you see here is me at the top of the launch pad, with the Falcon 9 yet to make its way out. The rocket is transported to the pad horizontally and then raised to a vertical position before launch. Standing there, it was impossible not to imagine the events that would soon unfold. At this very time last year, all of this was happening in real time. Looking back now, it feels both distant and incredibly close. #shux #space #shubhanshushukla #india #axiom4show more

Secretary Markwayne Mullin tells New York Governor Kathy Hochul... to go to hell; ICE will go in to arrest criminal illegal immigrants in New York, regardless of what she says. This INCLUDES administrative arrest warrants instead of court warrants. "We're going to execute court warrants. In some cases, we'll use administrative warrants. But there are a lot of known criminals hiding in New York, and the governor knows it!" "The mayor knows it. City officials know it. They know about these warrants because we've asked for their assistance in helping to apprehend these individuals." "They've told us a flat no. That's why President Trump has made it very clear that we're going to restore law and order!" Padawans! 👋👋 We are excited to announce the launch... of Vaults powered by Teahouse Finance 🚀 Check it out at Vaults solve common issues with concentrated liquidity: - Automated range selection for adding liquidity - Automated rebalancing - Gas fee savings - Claiming rewards and auto-compounding it for more returns Since the launch of Jediswap v2, which features concentrated liquidity, we have spoken to many users and projects about their challenges. We found that concentrated liquidity, while improving capital efficiency, actually makes things harder for both of them. Most users struggled with: - Finding it hard to choose price ranges when adding liquidity - Many forgot to check if their liquidity was still in range and earning fees - They had trouble optimizing and compounding rewards. Projects, which often airdrop their tokens to early users to increase liquidity in their pools, faced multiple challenges that lead to low user engagement: - Users, usually retail investors, face the user issues mentioned above - Early-stage tokens are very volatile, frequently causing liquidity to go out of range. - Projects aiming to use their treasury tokens for liquidity lack in-house experts to manage these positions effectively. Backed by Teahouse’s automated strategies, Vaults solves all of these issues and makes liquidity provision for users and projects a breeze. Users no longer need to worry about out-of-range positions or complex management. Projects can easily leverage airdrop recipients for liquidity and manage treasury tokens efficiently, even in volatile markets. Whether you're a retail user or a project team, Vaults makes concentrated liquidity work for you. ☺️ To celebrate the launch of Vaults, we have published a new campaign on Galxe, which rewards users with an NFT and a Discord role for being early users of Jediswap vaults. To earn the Galxe NFT, add at least $25 worth of liquidity to one of the vaults and hold it for at least 24 hours.show more

I swear the bacon-and-butter sandwich is the most underrated... metabolic hack on the planet. People laugh at it until they try it… and then suddenly their blood sugar stops spiking, their cravings shut the hell up, and their brain finally turns back on. Here’s why this combo works so damn well: 🧈Butter is instant calm for your nervous system. It stabilizes blood sugar so fast you can literally feel your body unclench. 🥓Bacon gives the protein + sodium hit that turns your brain from “chaos” to “clarity.” 🔥Together, they are the perfect fuel for fat adaptation, especially when your metabolism has been chronically stressed for decades. -They shut down the hunger roller coaster. -They kill the urge to binge. -They give you clean, steady energy instead of that jittery “I need a snack” panic. -And honestly… the taste? It’s a religious experience. Most people are eating low-fat and wondering why their metabolism is gasping for air. I started feeding mine the fat it was begging for and suddenly the cravings quieted, my morning hunger disappeared, and my blood sugar dropped after eating. Your body isn’t broken. It’s under-fueled. Sometimes the simplest food is the fix. Sometimes it’s literally just… butter and bacon, baby. What’s your go-to metabolic power meal? 👇🏻show more

I recently visited one of our supplement supplier factories... and it honestly felt like they’ve already figured out the answers to the market. For years, sellers have struggled with stability in the supplement supply chain—especially when it comes to compliance. But during my visit, I realized staying compliant isn’t that complicated. This factory already has a GMP certificate, FDA approval, and they can help provide the COA. That’s basically everything we need. They’ve also been innovating around market trends and developing creative, in-demand products: 1. Instead of traditional capsules, new formats are trending—gummies in all kinds of shapes (bears, stars, flowers), chewing gum, chewing candy, and liquid forms. 2. Majority products are still playing with shirajit in different ways. 3.Flavors matter more than ever, and the variety is growing fast. On top of that, they use tools to monitor best-selling products across platforms, launch new ones every month, and even create their own white-label lines ready for dropshipping. We’ve put together a full catalog of their supplement products. If you’re interested, just like, repost, and comment “supplement”—I’ll DM it to you.show more

Big news! Today we are announcing that Shopify is... acquiring the Threads team. There are a million feelings and thoughts from this journey, but nothing more than gratitude to all of our users and customers for building with us, my colleagues (both current and former) for making all of this possible, our investors, especially Mike Vernal, Elad Gil, Avichal - Electric ϟ Capital, and Jessica Verrilli for their unwavering support and guidance, and all of our friends and family who put up with the late nights, canceled plans, and the general roller coaster that is startup life. To our customers and users who have been asking, here’s how we got here: The past several months have been some of the most interesting and intense of my life. It all started with the rise of Instagram Threads, which presented us with the opportunity to sell our domains. Around the same time, a handful of companies approached us, wondering if we would be open to an acquisition. When this happened in the past, we would politely decline. However, this time, things were different. We weren't that excited about the time it would take to invest in a rebrand, and with mind-warping technological advances now being a commodity, we were excited about joining a place where we could tinker at scale. Each company we chatted with was incredible. However, what ultimately led us to choose Shopify over others was their culture; two distinct things in particular: 1) Craft-obsessed. Their obsession with not just building the right thing, but also building it the right way is inspiring. Sacrifice shows priority, and hearing stories about some of the hard decisions they made to ensure that what they ship is robust, scalable, and trustworthy, even at the cost of short-term metric gains, really proved that their obsession with craft was much more than a feel-good slogan. Their discussions and decisions have me truly believing they're going to be around for 100 years. 2) For entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs. Just about every product and engineering leader I met was an ex-founder who grinded for years to turn nothing into something. They all still had that air of resilience, obsession with the details at every part of the stack, and a compelling vision of the future for whatever they were working on. Threads leadership is also made up of ex-founders, so the entrepreneurial focus at Shopify made it clear that it would be the best environment for us to grow and thrive. Very excited for this next chapter with the team and grateful for all of the support we’ve received over the years from those who believed in us. As always, thanks for (th) reading.show more

NeuRBF: A Neural Fields Representation with Adaptive Radial Basis... Functions paper page: present a novel type of neural fields that uses general radial bases for signal representation. State-of-the-art neural fields typically rely on grid-based representations for storing local neural features and N-dimensional linear kernels for interpolating features at continuous query points. The spatial positions of their neural features are fixed on grid nodes and cannot well adapt to target signals. Our method instead builds upon general radial bases with flexible kernel position and shape, which have higher spatial adaptivity and can more closely fit target signals. To further improve the channel-wise capacity of radial basis functions, we propose to compose them with multi-frequency sinusoid functions. This technique extends a radial basis to multiple Fourier radial bases of different frequency bands without requiring extra parameters, facilitating the representation of details. Moreover, by marrying adaptive radial bases with grid-based ones, our hybrid combination inherits both adaptivity and interpolation smoothness. We carefully designed weighting schemes to let radial bases adapt to different types of signals effectively. Our experiments on 2D image and 3D signed distance field representation demonstrate the higher accuracy and compactness of our method than prior arts. When applied to neural radiance field reconstruction, our method achieves state-of-the-art rendering quality, with small model size and comparable training speed.show more

I replaced our Datadog bill with a single binary... and cut infrastructure costs by 98% overnight. It’s called OpenObserve. Logs, metrics, traces, and frontend monitoring in one tool, self-hosted, and it’s built specifically to stop the bill that grows every time you add a host, a user, or a custom metric. → One binary, running in under 2 minutes. No cluster, no separate components for logs vs metrics vs traces → Built in Rust on the DataFusion query engine, so it stays fast even at petabyte scale → Uses Parquet columnar storage on S3-compatible object storage instead of a proprietary format, which is where the real cost savings come from → Query with SQL or PromQL instead of a vendor’s proprietary syntax, so your team isn’t learning a new query language just to read a dashboard → Full OpenTelemetry compatibility, no proprietary agents required to get your existing instrumentation talking to it → Community dashboard library on GitHub for Kubernetes, Docker, Postgres, AWS, and LLM observability, ready to drop in instead of building from scratch In OpenObserve’s own published benchmark, the same 16-service workload cost $174/day on Datadog and $3/day self-hosted, a 98% cut, before even touching per-host or per-seat fees. 18,000+ GitHub stars. Single binary. Self-hosted, no per-host or per-user tax.show more

Polymorphic moulding: a manufacturing method that forms parts using... a grid of computer-controlled pins: Each pin can move up or down independently, so together they shape a surface that acts like a custom mould. Instead of building a fixed mould for every product, the machine quickly repositions the pins to match a new digital model. This means a mould can be created in minutes, used, and then reshaped again for the next design. Because the hardware stays the same and only its configuration changes: > no permanent tooling is needed > very little material is wasted > setup time between products is minimal The system essentially turns mould making into a programmable process. Engineers send a design file, the pins form the mould geometry, and the material is cast or formed inside it. Especially useful for rapid prototyping and customised manufacturing, where many different shapes must be produced in small quantities without rebuilding tools each time. For the second year in a row, the Palestinian... Eid al-Adha celebrations and heritage have disappeared in the Gaza Strip due to the genocide we are experiencing after we lost everything. There are no houses erected to receive well-wishers and family, no religious ceremonies to bring us closer to God, no mosques from whose minarets the voices of children chanting the Eid takbeers resound, and not even new clothes for the children. On this great holiday, unfortunately, people parade around with the bodies of their children who were killed in the maze of massacres, carrying them to search for a grave to bury them instead of buying new clothes and taking them to entertainment places, games and restaurants as is our custom. In addition, feeding the dogs reminded me of the harsh reality they also face, because war has not spared anyone, neither humans, animals, plants, nor inanimate objects. Many of them do not have a loving home, but I made sure to show them love and that they are loved, for every precious soul who deserves the best. As always, your wonderful donations are greatly appreciated. Bless your kind hearts for always helping me feed so many hungry stomachs. Together we can make a difference and give these innocent creatures the love and support they deserve.🇵🇸🐾🕊show more

vPay offshore accounts and physical cards have been getting... field-tested IRL for a while now, and we’ll open them to the public as soon as we’re fully confident in the UX. But before offshore accounts go public, I want to address a few points: Some might point out that - vPay isn’t the first crypto card - vPay doesn’t have the lowest fees - So why choose vPay instead of the Coinbase 🛡️ Card or MetaMask 🦊 Card or KAST or or Tria, or any of the other big names? Now to address: Privacy | The biggest differentiator that sets vPay completely apart is Private Banking. The majority of the crypto card providers on the market use Rain infra. Even if you’ve never heard of them, that's what your favorite "NeoBank" uses. And due to their legal jurisdictions, they will report your finances to authorities since they're CRS and FACTA compliant. We are not. As an OmniBank, we work with different banking partners, and although KYC is required to use our services, our offshore banks are non-CRS and non-FACTA. Tax reporting is the responsibility and choice of the user. Offshore Accounts vs Physical Cards | I've tried to highlight this a few times so far. vPay has 3 offerings on the banking side of things. Virtual cards - live now. Physical cards - coming Q1 2026. The first two are similar to what everyone else on the market offers. The offshore accounts are not. which are coming this week. They allow unlimited spending, ATM withdrawals, and international SWIFT transfers, which very few “Neobanks” provide. Offshore accounts are coming this week. Self-Custody | We're not 100% non-custodial yet, as that is near impossible at the moment but it's something we're working towards. And we try to keep the users' self-custodial wallets in the loop as much as possible for maximum control. Those who have tried the vPay app know that almost every move asks for permission from their wallet, and we always encourage users to keep their funds in their non-custodial wallets until the very last moment, since our top-ups usually only take seconds to a minute to process. Fees | All of the card providers mentioned above either raised millions from VCs or in presales or have a huge org backing them. We have neither. vPay was self-funded and community-owned since day 1, launched under Virtuals Protocol Genesis V1 launch model, an objectively bad launch model and hugely unfavorable toward project teams. So even though vPay has been generating revenue and profitable from early on, we do not have the luxury of offering 0% fees yet, since they're mostly a marketing gimmick paid for by millions in VC money and not a sustainable business model for early-stage companies. What we're working towards instead, is true co-ownership of vPay and revenue-share with users. OmniBank vs NeoBank | I’m not a fan of the term “NeoBank.” It implies just a bank, but make it crypto. That’s not vPay. Our goals have always been clear: A) Anything and everything users need to do with their money and assets, both Web2 and Web3, all in one hub. Powered by a constellation of partner agents. The cards and the bank accounts are just the foundation. B) To eventually build independent financial rails for crypto and decouple from the chokehold of Visa/Mastercard. vLink is the first step toward this vision. This turned out to be a rather long tweet, but context matters. Questions and feedback welcome in replies or DMs. See you all with your vPay vCards very soon.show more

When it comes to new siblings the gulf between... expectations and reality can be pretty stark. The reality is that newborns are often significantly less “fun” than billed to their toddler and preschool-aged siblings. Instead of an instant playmate and best friend, newborns require a great deal of parental care, energy, and attention. They mostly eat and sleep, which can be a bit of a letdown. I just love this new big brother, shared to IG by _jennapierce. He’s so enthusiastic… and ready for his newborn sibling to wake up and interact - even trying out the whole “got your nose” prank to get his attention (without avail). Rest assured, that time will come, little buddy! Parents can help to ease the transition by teaching siblings about newborn care and establishing realistic expectations from the get go. (“He’ll be so much fun to play with when he gets a little older, but at first he’s going to be very tiny and sleepy. We’ll need to be very gentle and you can help teach him how to talk! He won’t be ready to talk back at first, but he’s going to be listening very carefully.”) What a sweet moment to capture on video. These two are going to be best of friends.show more

We all remember. We all remember when blockchain was... pitched as the next big thing. And today, we feel like we’ve been waiting and waiting. Until recently, Blockchain was too expensive, slow under load, and hard to integrate for most businesses. So enterprises ignored it. It didn’t solve their business problems. That’s changed. Why blockchain, why now? Businesses don’t care about the tech, they care about cost and performance. They’d ask a simple question “Does it save or make me more money?” For a long time, blockchain didn’t clearly do this. That’s no longer true. Blockchain is proving real business cases, especially on Avalanche. On Avalanche, transactions cost fractions of a cent. settle in about a second. And instead of forcing everything onto one shared chain, businesses can launch their own Avalanche L1s with their own rules. To understand this let’s identify the problem and then provide the solution in a way that's easy to understand. Where Businesses Lose Money Most large industries lose money due to operational inefficiencies. Data lives in different systems. Teams spend hours reconciling records that should already match. Intermediaries sit in the middle, taking fees to coordinate all of it. Individually, each step looks small. Together, they create real cost: > Labor spent on manual processes > Capital locked up during settlement delays > Fees paid to intermediaries > Risk introduced by time gaps and mismatched data This is where businesses actually lose money. Not in big, obvious ways. In constant, compounding friction. Take Private Credit, for Example Private credit is loans held outside of traditional banks. It’s a multi-trillion dollar market, and much of it still runs on spreadsheets and weekly reconciliation processes. Loan data is tracked across systems. Teams manually process requests. Funds move on traditional rails, often on delayed cycles. It doesn’t have to be this way Entire teams exist just to keep systems in sync. Now move that system onto Avalanche. Loan data updates in real time. Transactions settle in about a second. Every participant sees the same state instantly. Reconciliation isn’t a separate step because the system itself is the source of truth. The impact is straightforward. > Reduced manual work > Shortened settlement cycles > Fewer layers of coordination between parties Avalanche is Infrastructure for Real Businesses Avalanche is designed to match how businesses actually operate. Instead of sharing a single chain, they can launch their own Avalanche L1s with custom rules, built-in compliance, and predictable performance. They control the system. Avalanche’s Moment For the longest time, blockchain naysayers said this could all be done better with spreadsheets or existing systems. They were right. That’s what the technology allowed. Now it’s changed. Avalanche can replace many of those systems with real-time settlement, shared data, and automated execution. For the first time, the economics work. Built for business. 🔺show more

Monthly WINR Protocol Development Update: To begin with, the... WINR Protocol has distributed $900,000 to token holders, generated more than $500,000 in pure profit for liquidity providers on WLP, acquired more than 5,000 users, and has almost 9% of the supply burned. In the upcoming months, the WINR Protocol, which has been in production for years, will introduce a range of new products and deployments. These developments will represent the practical and technical evolution to V2 of the protocol. Here are the latest updates and further details as they progress: Progress on WINR Bonanza, Casino Hold'em, and Blackjack is nearing completion. These games are in the final stages of testing. Additional games, including a new type of crash game, have been finalized and are set to debut with the JustBet v2 launch. Take a look at the gameplay videos for a preview. These games achieve the long-term goal of providing a full-suite WINR Game Engine SDK, which can be used to build games with complex logic on-chain with modular smart contract infrastructure. For example, any grid slot game that dominates the iGaming industry could easily be developed on-chain using the WINR Bonanza SDK. - Permissionless Frontend Operator SDK Dashboard Release: March is poised to be a milestone month with the launch of the Frontend Operator SDK dashboards. These dashboards will enable any WINR Labs game to be seamlessly deployed on frontends, marking a significant advancement in protocol accessibility and integration for future games developed by independent iGaming developers. The frontend operator can deploy any game they choose through a few simple steps while utilizing 10,000 WINR per game via the WINR Game Factory smart contract. Each operator is assigned a unique smart contract address(es) for every game they deploy, allowing their revenue to be tracked independently. The deployment process includes instructions on integrating the game as a package into the operator's frontend. In subsequent phases, the games will transition through WINR Chain, streamlining user onboarding steps like wallet connection and token bridging to Arbitrum. This abstraction will make it easy for any web2/web3 platform on any chain to seamlessly integrate WINR-based games with just a few clicks. The new budget system changes how the revenue is calculated on the protocol and will see daylight with frontend operator, Solana, and Fantom deployments. This model was first tested with a lightweight version on and gave a lot of actionable feedback. Shifting from the existing bribe model, which in practice distributes almost half of the edge of the games in volume to WINR holders, the brand-new budget system checks the profitability of WLP. It distributes a larger part of the profit to game providers, frontend operators, and, most importantly, WINR holders. Any time a game's budget is in profit, a part of every loss is distributed to stakeholders. Here is an example: 1. The WINR Bonanza Game has a 10,000 budget for a frontend operator. 2. Let's assume the bet amount was $50, and Bonanza paid back $10 on that spin. That leaves $40 of pure profit. 3. This is distributed amongst 50% to WLP, 20% to frontend operators, 20% to WINR holders, and 10% to game providers. 4. To achieve this, V2 of WINR Liquidity Engine (WLP) will have a buffer for purchasing and selling, working in epochs to determine the above distribution and math. - Solana Deployment and Expansions: Solana audits are in their final phase, and frontend tests are ongoing. Solana launch will be alongside the V2 launch of @JustBetOfficial, with a chain switch available on the top bar. The VRF system WINR developed already is seeing requests from builders around the Solana ecosystem, and this will over time add an extra layer of income to the protocol. Solana's bankroll, at first, will be a lighter version of WLP but will inherit the above-mentioned budgeting system to generate income immediately upon launch. - Fantom Deployment and Expansions: Fantom's upcoming Sonic upgrade, with its 200ms finality and fast block production is a perfect chain for WINR Protocol to expand. Through the partnership with WINR Protocol will tap into a brand new user base on Fantom. The bankroll on Fantom will consist of FTM and stables. The launch is planned for late March or early April. This expansion aims to open up new markets and collaborations with fresh teams. which operates independently, will integrate a broad spectrum of WINR technologies, including WINR Account Abstraction, WINR VRF, and WINR games, marking a pivotal step in WINR Protocol’s journey of horizontal expansion. - XAI VRF Deployment Progress Update: The WINR Account Abstraction Wallet and WINR Verifiable Random Function (VRF) deployment on the XAI 🎮⛓️ is well underway, with the majority of the work completed. This step forward showcases WINR's expansion beyond gambling and trading, highlighting the protocol's adaptability and commitment to broadening decentralized services. The process to automize and permissionlessly let game developers start using WINR VRF by paying (and burning) fees in WINR will launch alongside WINR VRF deployment on XAI and expand to further chains to help DApp builders with the tooling they need. This process will work very similarly to frontend operators, where DApp builders will be able to easily deploy their VRF contract, pay the WINR fees, and enjoy the fastest random number generation transaction, as showcased on @JustBetOfficial for some time. - JustBet v2 Development Update: Set to launch in March, the last testing phase with long-time community members of JustBet V2 is underway. Boasting a completely refreshed look, JustBet v2 aims to captivate more users with its modern features, a significant upgrade from the classic JustBet designed in 2019. Expect dynamic animations and a user experience that rivals traditional web2 casinos, setting a new standard for online gambling platforms and serving once again as proof of concept for all the new WINR features and infrastructure set to launch over the coming months. As always, WINR Labs simultaneously develops protocol infrastructure and platform to best address the needs of one and only goal: horizontal expansion. Easter eggs: Upcoming Gitbook update with all the technical information of WINR V2. CEX listing. Detailed product pages on WINR web. Pyth competitions. WIP-4 and WIP-5 are ready to deploy.
