What if Count Binface wins the by-election? Clacton would... instantly become a quirky destination on the world map. Tourism, jobs, hotels, restaurants, merch and 99' Flakes for 99p. It would bring Clacton back to life, certainly more than an MP who only turns up for photo-ops.show more

Count Binface suggested prior to the count that "if... 1 in 8 people in Clacton would rather vote for a Space Warrior shaped like a bin than Nigel Farage, that would be interesting wouldn't it". It was actually 1 in 4! 😂show more

Voting is taking place in the Clacton by-election. The... vote was triggered by the resignation of MP Nigel Farage. There are 34 candidates on the ballot paper, so the local council needs larger tables than usual for the count. The contest is estimated to have cost taxpayers around £250,000. The main Westminster parties are boycotting the election which they have dismissed as a stunt.show more

I have pasted something from Google on what a... “ wet lease” means for the benefit of those who may be wondering WHY we are in the deal . The reasons for a wet lease by Zimbabwe are all answered here , but I think given yesterday’ s victory by Spain FIFA World Cup FIFA , and our own cordial relations with Spain , many would recall in 2017 we brought Barcelona Legends to play our National Team ; Ministry of Tourism and Zimbabwe Tourism Authority can fly with new branding and sports tourism opportunities, that link to this inaugural London -Harare route with an anticipated 200000 passengers and “ piggyback” on the Country of the moment , the headquarters of world tourism, Spain UN Tourism . This is a good development for Zimbabwe!show more

🤨 Ed Davey’s shocking authoritarian stunt: changing British law... to trap Nigel Farage in Parliament! Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey is so terrified of Nigel Farage that he now wants to rewrite the rules of democracy itself, pushing a new “Clacton Clause” to stop MPs from resigning. The world is completely upside down. 🙃 This is the same Ed Davey who never stops telling us how dangerous Nigel Farage and Reform are… yet now he’s moving heaven and earth to keep him in Parliament! You literally couldn’t make it up. Not content with declaring the Lib Dems will stand aside and hand Farage a free run in the Clacton by-election, Davey now wants a special “Clacton Clause” to trap him there and block any resignation. Guaranteed job security for the man he claims is a threat to Britain. It’s utterly bizarre. Labour, Tories, Lib Dems are all singing from the same establishment hymn sheet, terrified of letting the voters decide. Democracy? Only when it suits them. Pathetic.show more

QUOTE 1 - Love for life and rationality are... essential for life to become a source of joy and flourishing. : Love for life and rationality are not optional extras. They are the essential foundation that turns mere existence into a source of genuine joy and flourishing. Love for life brings warmth, gratitude, and a deep appreciation for the gift of being alive. It fuels curiosity, resilience, and the desire to protect and nurture what is beautiful. Rationality, in turn, provides clarity, honesty, and the ability to navigate reality without illusion. Together, they create a powerful synergy: a heart that cherishes life guided by a mind that understands it. Without love for life, rationality can become cold and empty. Without rationality, love for life can become blind or fragile. When both are present and balanced, life stops being a struggle to endure and becomes something worth celebrating every day. This combination allows us to face difficulties with courage, find meaning in ordinary moments, and build a future worth living in. It is the quiet secret to a flourishing existence. QUOTE 2 - Love is the only force that turns millions of individuals into a nation, and nations into humanity. : Love is the only force powerful enough to turn millions of separate individuals into a genuine nation, and nations into a united humanity. Laws can regulate behavior, shared interests can create alliances, and culture can foster identity, but only love creates the deep emotional bond of belonging and mutual care. It transforms “them” into “us.” It makes people willing to sacrifice, to protect, to build together rather than merely coexist. On a larger scale, the same principle applies. When love extends beyond national borders, it turns competing states into parts of a single human family. Without this connecting force, unity remains fragile, easily broken by fear or self-interest. With it, differences become complementary rather than divisive. Love is the invisible thread that holds humanity together. It is what makes a nation more than a territory, and humanity more than a collection of nations. In the end, the strength and future of both depend not on power or wealth, but on our capacity to love one another.show more

💥NEW: Burger King President Tom Curtis *PLEADS* for TRUMP... to visit his restaurants🤣🇺🇸 "If I had one ask of the Administration, it would be: stop having photo ops in the competitors' restaurants — and come to ours more often." CNN Host Kate Bolduan: "What does it feel like when RFK Jr. says he gets onto Air Force One and he sees boxes and boxes of McDonald's?" Curtis: "Darn it! If he only knew!" Trump famously ordered Burger King, McDonald's, and Wendy's for the Clemson University football team at the White House during a government shutdown in 2019. He is reportedly a fan of Burger King. Hopefully Trump will make some legendary content with Burger King like he did with McDonald's after this request 😂👌show more

If barbecue had a cathedral, this would be it.... The Salt Lick in Driftwood, Texas is home to one of the most iconic open-fire barbecue pits on Earth. Good news. AOC says she would probably not date... a conservative because of her values. She also says having a child in Congress would be too expensive. Her lecture on values is ridiculous. She promotes abortion up until birth and a socialism that has ruined the people it has ruled. As for the baby she cannot afford: she has collected more than a million dollars in House pay, kept her student loans, wears expensive clothes, drives a nice car, and still talks like the paycheck is the problem. She should look in a mirror. The problem looking back is not the salary. It is her. She is inhumane and fiscally reckless, with an overblown sense of her own worth. She has not authored a single meaningful bill. She has taken more than a million taxpayer dollars and spent it on an extravagant life while her debts sat there. Honestly, the best thing for America would be if AOC remained single and without children.show more

Rare-event discovery for robots training is what we’ve been... working on lately How would a robot react to an unusual event? What if a firefighter drone won’t be able to choke a fire (like on the video below)? Robo-doctors use cases? How to mass-produce these situations to train robots to see & react the best way? I think that open-sourced, world models like LTX can become the solution for such training process. And they might become the differentiator for the future of robotics. Of course, I’m not an expert in robotics and ML, but this topic makes me curious - and I’m curious about your thoughtsshow more

small milestone for me today. first app i’ve ever... built is live 🇻🇳 "no plan route" is a curated vietnam map made for travelers who want something a bit more authentic. backpackers, nomads, people exploring by scooter, people trying to avoid tourist traps… this is who i had in mind while building it. the app currently includes curated spots across vietnam: ☕ cafes 🏝 hidden gems 💻 coworking spaces 🍜 local food 🗺 daily picks 🫂 community suggestions the project is still early and i’ll spend this weekend improving it: • fixing remaining bugs • adding tcg locations • expanding the map with more spots • improving the overall experience • refining discovery and recommendations if you know a hidden gem, local cafe, food spot or random place people should know about, there’s now a “+ suggest” button directly inside the app. drop it there and help build the map with me! would love for this project to become community driven over time and as a reminder… this is literally the first thing i’ve ever coded so feedback is more than welcome. if you like it, a ⭐ would mean a lotshow more
