Why would a Division 1 baseball program train their... pitchers like this? It’s called Savage Power: 8-12 seconds of fast, unpredictable work followed by a 20-second reload. The goal is to teach athletes to remove slack, stabilize key positions, and produce speed and power under pressure. Not to mention it also mirrors the rhythm of the pitch clock. Empty the tank. Reload. Be ready to deliver again.show more

Jump–Jump–Stick! One of my favorite plyometrics for pro athletes... is the Triple Broad Jump is a teaching tool disguised as a power test that transfers directly to the 40-yard dash. It trains athletes to push the turf back, project the hips, and repeat horizontal force with rhythm and posture - just like the first 10 yards of the 40. The 40 isn’t one big push; it’s repeated projections. If you can’t link power for three jumps, it’ll show up on the clock. Train power you can repeat. 💥show more

An Oldie but a Goldie. Approach ➜ Power V... One of the biggest keys to a consistent swing is what happens from approach to Power V. As the knob turns toward the pitcher and into the path of the pitch, the barrel naturally falls behind your hands. We don’t need to flick it back to have it fall behind..DUH From there, don’t throw the barrel at the ball. Release it in the most direct line along the path of the pitch. Some pitches require a slightly steeper path. Others require a flatter one. But the goal stays the same: ✔️ Keep the barrel below your hands through extension. Approach = The barrel works to the side of the shoulder as the body turns toward the pitcher. Power V = The release of the lag and extension of the barrel through the baseball. Master that section of the swing, and you’ll give yourself a much better chance to create consistent contact, adjust to different pitch planes, and produce real power. Why should you add hops into your drill work?... Each hop changes the relationship between the pelvis, trunk, and center of mass, making the athlete constantly reorganize their sequencing. By blending implements, moving from a water ball to a baseball, we expose the athlete to varying levels of instability and feedback. Pro tip: the second hop tends to be the depth in which most athletes find to be their most efficient and powerful position.show more

🚨 THE BULGARIAN GOVERNMENT HAS FALLEN — THIS IS... WHAT REAL POWER LOOKS LIKE After just a few days of mass non-compliance, the Government of Bulgaria has resigned. No tanks. No violence. No chaos.Just people — united — refusing to comply. This is the truth globalists fear more than anything: When citizens realise their collective power, governments collapse. Not through elections engineered by elites. Not through courts captured by ideology. But through unity and refusal. Bulgaria has just proven a fundamental principle of history: Governments rule only with the consent of the governed. Remove that consent — peacefully, collectively, relentlessly — and the illusion of power evaporates. This is why they push: ▪️ Division ▪️ Fear ▪️ Identity politics ▪️ Isolation Because unity is strength — and strength terrifies globalist systems. If people across Europe, the UK, and the West truly understood what Bulgarians have just demonstrated, there would not be a single globalist government left standing. This is not a theory anymore. It’s a live demonstration. Unity works. Non-compliance works. The people still hold the power.show more

Goal or No Goal The rule👇 👉 That is... NOT a goal. It’s an offence for preventing the goalkeeper from releasing the ball, and play should be stopped. The restart would be a free kick to the goalkeeper’s team. When would it be a goal? •If the goalkeeper completely released the ball, •the ball was clearly free in the air, •and the striker then kicked it and scored, 👉 That IS a valid goal. Key takeaway (simple version): •Ball still under keeper’s control → no goal •Ball fully released and free → goalshow more

Coaches confuse advice for beginners vs advice for advanced... lifters Many coaches will tell you that you need to pull the slack out of the bar Not true. If you’re strong enough you can be aggressive and actually create more force this way Most people aren’t strong enough to do this, that doesn’t mean pulling the slack is the only way to deadlift This is why I like Power Rows, and it’s why I’m so aggressive on my DB rows, and deadstop rows You can train your body to perform this way, which has a much higher strength ceiling IMO Calvin.Maloney on IGshow more
