Travel loyalty is the biggest legal scam of the... last 30 years. takes a 15% cut. Your hotel points expire in 18 months. The entire industry is built to reset you to zero, and a Solana backed startup is quietly tearing it down. It's called Nomadz. The pitch is simple: book stays from 1M+ properties, pay with USDC, save up to 60%, get another 5% off for using stablecoins. No currency conversion fees. No middleman taking a quarter of your booking. But the actual unlock isn't the discount. It's the loyalty layer. Every time you book on Expedia, Booking, or Agoda, the value goes one way, to them. You get a marketing email. Maybe 500 "Genius points" you'll never redeem. Your status doesn't move with you. Your history is their data, not your asset. Nomadz flipped the model. Every booking gives you XP toward an onchain Nomad ID. That identity is yours, portable, permanent, and it compounds. Stay 10 nights, your status follows you. Forever. Not "for the next 12 months if you keep paying." Genuine question: if Nomadz had existed 5 years ago, would you still have booked through Expedia, or Agoda? Nomadz 🧳show more

Introducing Attio Objects 🚀 We know how hard... it is to find a CRM that fits your unique business model. That's why we built Attio Objects – our powerful data model with custom objects that gives you complete flexibility to structure your CRM exactly how you need it. Along with custom objects, we've also introduced new standard objects: - Workspaces and Users objects for PLG businesses. - A robust Deals object for sales-driven companies. This is the culmination of a 4-year effort, with 3 years of work put in even before launching Attio. Since day one, we've been determined to solve the fundamental problem in the CRM space: the trade-off between power and time-to-value. If you wanted power and flexibility, your CRM would take forever to build and not work well with your stack. If you wanted speed, you'd need to use highly opinionated, inflexible software that doesn't really work for your business. That ends today. With Attio, you no longer have to compromise. Build your CRM your way, fast. Iterate as you grow. High-growth startups like Replicate, , and Modal and more are already using Attio's object architecture to perfectly match their businesses and accelerate their growth. WOW v14.3.2 is very decisive and is able to... execute with great confidence. Big fan. That said, in my first drive it messed up *spectacularly* twice in <15 miles of suburban driving. In one instance, it swerved out of its through lane of traffic into a lane that was ending, right as it was ending. It was not trying to overtake any vehicles, it just swerved over violently. ugh The other, in the video below, it did not consider that the left lane was turn-only, and tried to use it overtake other vehicles while their light was red. (this intersection begins with left turn green and through-lanes red) It is still very slow to merge into the proper lane in time for a turn, and ended up cutting off a large truck to make its turn. Could it have completed its maneuvers and continued without intervention? Yes. Would it be safe or legal to do so? No. Plenty of work left to do on FSD.show more

A HARDWARE MODDER BOLTED A BATTERY PACK ONTO A... $599 MAC MINI M4 AND TURNED A DESK SERVER INTO A BACKPACK AI RIG THAT RUNS FOR EIGHT HOURS WITHOUT A WALL OUTLET he posts a video of the mac mini with a slim battery module clamped to the side, USB-C plugged into the back. no power brick, no outlet, just the 10 to 30W draw of the M4 chip pulling from a 20,000mAh bank. a full work day on one charge. this is not a portable laptop trick. it is a desk-class AI server that fits in a sling bag the same $599 mac mini i recommended in last week's article as the silent default, now untethered. pair it with a mobile hotspot or a Starlink mini and you have a fully off-grid LLM stack that answers questions in a forest, on a plane, in a power outage. the model lives in the box, the battery powers the box, that is the whole stack this is not a gadget. it is the first time the words "AI server" and "fits in your bag" belong in the same sentenceshow more

Force feedback demo Force feedback is when joystick is... pushing on your hand when something is pushing on the robot arm. Feeling the force - so much helpful to control the robot, that done well it allows you to do tasks even without visual feed. You can make an experiment: close your eyes - you can easily get the headphones out of the case. Also, visual information is often not enough. For example, you're trying to pull out a usb connector, but you pull it at the wrong angle, causing it to get stuck. Visually, nothing changes, but the pressure is intense and you can break the connector. Surgical robots have been using force feedback for years, and there are also 3D styluses which use this feature, proving that the technology works and is useful. But in modern robots with AI, it's hardly ever implemented. Although it's useful for both teleoperation and AI model. That's one of the reasons why we are building our robotic arms starting with off the shelf motors rather than taking the whole off the shelf arm. There are still a range of easy wins that can be made iterating robot hardware.show more

Recently Ross Gerber mentioned that it will be impossible... for Tesla to scale quickly with their Robotaxi plans because they have yet to build any infrastructure as similar to Waymo. I am willing to bet a generous amount of money that Tesla is well aware of Waymo’s infrastructure and their struggles to efficiently manage their fleet. Tesla does not have $15 billion of excess Capital to waste each year on a copycat Fleet management process. Nor would they spend it if they had an additional $100 billion in excess capital. After validating each geographical map area, Tesla will sell Robotaxis to individual buyers, it’s possible that there will be an up fitting process to enter your own Tesla into the Robotaxi fleet. Tesla will sell cybercabs to individuals and fleets that can come online anytime the owner decides. There is no alternative viable method to saturate the market. Tesla is not going to purchase 100 separate properties in Los Angeles and pay minimum wage workers to clean puke out of vehicles. It’s not going to happen. Tesla is going to take the high margin SAS profits and determine the appropriate costs per mile breakdown to make a viable business model for vehicle owners. Coming soon- The Shepherd Model by Tesla. As mentioned many times before, The process to develop a nationwide network of fleet owners and shepherds is the foundation to also handle the deployment of Optimus robots for temporary gigs, part-time work, and generally cool shit. Optimus robots will be serving food at a wedding near you in the year 2030. How do you think they will get there? Who do you think is going to own them? Who do you think is going to fix them? Who do you think is going to drop them off for service and replacement parts?show more
